PINES TWINS HEADCANONS

in honor of their birthday (8/31), some headcanons of 25 year old dipper and mabel!

also bc i binge watched the show again-

includes what they’re up to, relations, interests, stuff they do in their free time, etc.

+ short 5 song playlist of their taste at the end

(will be songs from recent years since it’s now, as in this second, of their interests. i’d be happy to do a full playlist if requested!)

DIPPER

-stayed in touch with stan and ford all these years, he’s very close to them. they’re still around but much older and calmer

-so, yes, he’s covered in tats. yk that fanart we allllll have seen? yea they pretty much look like that, some weird ones, he rlly likes patchwork style tattoos

-probably has one on his chest or stomach/lower pelvis tbh, he’s a quirky dude

-mabel probably dared him to do something like that because she thought he’d chicken out from the pain but he did it

-him and mabel have matching tattoos that was dippers idea, dipper has a pine tree on his ankle and mabel has the shooting star on hers

-his pain tolerance is definitely pretty high given all the stuff he’s been through

-he decided to grow his hair a bit longer because he likes it that way. he enjoys being able to put it into a messy half up lil bun

-as for shaving his face, he likes to be clean. as much as he was excited about chest hair or whatever, once there started to be more hair coming in, he got tired of it and started keeping clean. maybe some stubble on his face once in a while if he’s lazy

-he has rosacea he mistakenly took for acne when he was growing into his teens, so he just naturally has a reddened face, probably from all the stress. aside from it being a medical condition, it’s rather cute

-he’s also in the sun a lot in california, so that’s what caused that and his darkening freckles.

-he’s good with his skin though, he likes to just keep himself clean, that’s it.

-he also wears chapstick, but only the cherry flavor from the chapstick brand.

-likes jewelry so he wears a bunch of different necklaces and bracelets and rings. he changes his necklace like every week, it’s always some kinda rock in wire or dog tag. also pierced his ears so he wears small studs or smthn

-ahem he has his tongue pierced ahem

-wears a lot of plain clothes or band t-shirts. he’s got like a weird grunge/hippie mix to his style, like converse and band tshirts with like a bandanna and all his jewelry

-still wears hats, he likes beanies too

-he consumes a lot of media, he loves cartoons but will watch the occasional greys anatomy episode

-he loves video games, such a nintendo sucker like mario, sonic, zelda, smash

-his fav series is the legend of zelda im not biased shut up

-he also got into anime more, this happened a bit after he left the summer of 2012. you can blame soos for recommending he tries it out, and he did

-i feel like his favorites would be like soul eater, jujutsu kaisen, or death note

-cat person cat person cat person

-owns like 3 cats

-orange tabby he named corduroy, grey tabby named tyrone (calls him ty), and a black one he named august, for him and his sisters birth month.

-she helped him decide the name, they got him together so technically it’s both of their cat but mabel still has waddles (and a guinea pig but this isn’t mabels headcannons)

-he decided against going to college but instead has his own interactive websites for people interested in the weird and crazy supernatural, this all started from a blog he created himself about the weird things he’s researched.

-he’s thought about studying computer science, or becoming a teacher for philosophy or even psychology, something like that, but he now thinks college will get in the way of his personal research, so he finds things off of that

-he does a lot of his own research on these things anyway because he’s still interested in it

-for an actual job to make a steady income he’s been working at an amazon warehouse for a couple of years

-dabbled in smoking weed but it’s not for him, he’s too paranoid

-he has a lot of friends but most of them are online

-you thought the awkwardness was just part of the preteens phase, well it wasn’t

-he’s still pretty awkward but i guess some girls find that more attractive as you get older and not gross

-also i think dipper is straight, but he’s still pretty flamboyant.

-he’s definitely tested the theory of him being not straight though, that’s all imma say

-he’s better at talking to girls, especially now that he knows what he really wants to do and who he is, the confidence in himself was the key

-sometimes he’s shy, but doesn’t have a problem smiling or saying hi or complimenting someone

-he’s had a couple of relationships, done a handful of things and tried stuff out, but he still hasn’t found the one

-he’s the kinda guy that needs to find someone who’s ok with him being very private and independent sometimes, and he finds that hard

-as much as he can be distant, he still wants a long term partner eventually

-he also does know he has a lot of his own issues to figure out to do that, because he knows he can get distant, and so he has traumas to work out and he’s aware of that

-at heart, he is very much so a lover boy though

-his top love language from the 5 would be acts of service. he may get distant and stuff but he still thinks about you a lot and what you need or what you’re doing, like bringing you soup or tissues when you’re sick, switching your clean clothes to the dryer, simple stuff like picking up after you if you forget, or even teaching you new things he’s learned about because he likes to share that

-in order of the 1-5 from most to least, acts of service, gift giving, quality time, words of affirmation, and physical touch.

-just because it’s the last doesn’t mean he doesn’t like it, he just shows the others more.

-he’s perfectly fine with cuddling and kissing all day in bed on a lazy rainy day, all gloomy outside during a thunderstorm and you both are cozy in bed, nice and warm form body heat and in and out of sleep.

-he needs this very often he’s so stressed

-wears knee high socks to bed tho oops

-he’s doesn’t like wearing a shirt to bed that much though, but he does wear the socks

-always with shorts or boxers tho, he doesn’t like the feeling of pants over long socks, or pants under the covers anyway. not a fan of layers

-as much as he’s very into technology and being lazy or whatever, he does like to go outside a lot and hike, or casual walks

-he enjoys the feel of nature, and more so during the summer. summer is his favorite season for nostalgia reasons

-drives a subaru crosstrek. and he liked the camo green, ok?

-wants to get a motorcycle

-now that he drives, him and mabel make frequent trips to gravity falls whenever they can to see everyone, they all still stay in contact, and love seeing the twins.

-also stayed in touch with stan and ford like dipper, they’re both close with them (stan and mabel are closer but they all love each other equally)

-i feel like she also would have tattoos but they’re kinda smaller and more floral and colorful, not huge and overbearing though

-not to be sad, but waddles doesn’t have much time left and so she got a little tattoo of a cute pig on her hip for memory of him

-she chose her right hip because that’s his favorite spot to snuggle on her when they sleep together or cuddle, he was always on that side

-she definitely kept like a girly hippie and y2k kinda style as she got older

-she keeps her hair long and always natural, she never really likes to blow it out or straighten it, but she loves doing different styles like braids or space buns, but usually just naturally down and wavy.

-likes hair clips and scrunchies, especially the ones with the cute designs and colors on it. like the hair clips that look like wings and have dangling jewels

-she did however have a little phase where she wanted to dye some of it, she did the front strands of her hair hot pink and purple before

-she really likes doing her makeup, all kinds of styles and colors. she’ll try eyeliner, face paint, glitter, lipstick colors, bright eyeshadows, everything

-she doesn’t overdo it, but always has some kind of color in her face, like a natural face but some blue or purple eyeshadow, something cool.

-has a small stud on her nose, but a lot more piercings on her ears.

-she never wanted anything crazy but she thinks more holes to put cute earrings in was a good idea

-she also enjoys tv, she loves movies more though. she likes cartoons but more enjoys shows like friends, or reality tv shows like the masked singer or love island

-she also enjoys video games, mostly because dipper introduced her to alot, zelda she likes because of him and she got into animal crossing too

-NEEDED pietro on her island or else she wouldn’t play.

-she bought her own switch because of this

-it has pink remotes and lots of stickers, obviously

-she also has a pc, she likes playing minecraft with candy and grenda. she isn’t very good at it tho so she plays with cheats LOL

-social media obsessed, she posts everything, especially on tiktok and instagram. she likes sharing, sharing is caring.

-her user would probably be like “sh00t1ngst4r31” or smthn from like 2016 pinterest username ideas but she doesn’t care too change it, she still thinks it’s cute

-pothead, it makes her feel funny and fuzzy and happy and stupid and…oh i’m hungry.

-so yea, she also has a guinea pig and she named her star, after her own alias as shooting star

-she likes to draw and she actually makes money off her art, like selling designs or stickers on redbubble, but also makes art of characters from games and stuff, or pretty nature designs

-shes in college for theatre and film, she would love to make movies or shows some day. she’s also interested in acting and singing a lot too

-there is a boy she likes in her class but she’s nervous to talk to him, after the whole boy crazy teen phase, she’s calmed down but become more nervous to talk to boys if she likes them, otherwise she’s extremely social.

-mabel isn’t straight guys. never was and never will be. she finds its much easier to talk to girls if it’s a crush.

-GOES TO DRAG SHOWS!

-she’s friends w all the queens, she gets behind the scenes of them changing and choosing their songs and outfits and their theme for sets !!!!

-she’s like adhd central, but yes she’s on medication for it.

-i also think she has a personality disorder of some sort, like bpd

-she has a tough time keeping relationships because of how wild and moody she can be as a person, it can get confusing and it’s hard, but her optimistic trait keeps this lovely girl going, she’s doing ok don’t worry.

-DRIVES A MODDED JEEP WRANGLER ITS PURPLE AND COVERED IN DUCKS

-also likes anime, she’s an ouran high school host club girly, but also the occasional demon slayer fan

-she loves my hero academia be fr

-collects stuffed animals, she loves emptying her wallet at arcades and only playing for stuffies. it’s not all for nothing though, she’s pretty good at what she does.

-she is in school and does have her own online business, but she does also dog sit and dog walk on the side

-i feel like she loves to cook and bake, she likes to try new things all the time

-she enjoys traveling too, she’s been to the east coast in the states like new york, vermont, and down to virginia and north carolina too

-also out of the country, she’s been to japan, and paris a couple times. she HAD to take a picture that made it look like she was holding a tiny eiffel tower before she dies cmon

-she loves fall, definitely a pumpkin spice girl

-prefers dunkin over starbucks, but will get the occasional cake pop from starbucks

-she’s still taller than dipper lol, i’d say she’s like 5’6 while he’s an inch shorter

-she wears glasses now, but prefers contacts. she only wears her glasses like at home or doing casual stuff if she doesn’t feel like putting her contacts in but for the most part she wears the contacts

-she loves taking trips with dipper back to gravity falls, she’s especially excited to see wendy again now that they can really relate more with girl things since mabel’s old enough to understand a lot more

-they take mabel’s jeep when driving to gravity falls, but switch out driving here and there.

Nici!! I wasn't going to say this but then I decided too, I don't think you remember because it was back in like June, but I sent u inbox about how I binged read S&C all in 1 day and said something about s&c makes me want to consider changing my field study into med because it was something I was already interested in because i was a big greys anatomy fan, but then i decided to major in sum else, but I said that after i read s&c and it made me want to go into med. We'll firstly I actually decided to go into social work, so I'm doing a lot of different things, there's Psychology, med, law, politics and other stuff. So I wanted to say I actually really relate to your stories a lot, and feel very connected in a sense. Social work makes me understand lots of the topics being talked about in both s&c as well as r&r, I also kind of understand the actions/choices both readers make in both stories. When both readers are stressed out over their work load/homework I 100% relate to it since I'm doing little areas in those fields.

Also I wanted to say I also feel connected to r&r reader because my best friend actually has epilepsy, and I saved her life once, it was a scary experience but-- Back in highchool her and I had walked to class together and she was holding my hand and I could feel twitch every few minutes. I'm also friends with her sister so her, and her sister had been saying it had been a very long time since her seizures last occurred. So feeling my best friends hand twitching kind of set me off in a way, and even though she told me she felt fine, my gut my was telling me to watch her. And by the time we reached class I could tell she wasn't okay, she put her head down then shot back up and was asking to leave, my instincts had just kicked in and I ran to her, and quite literally, the second I got behind her she ended up having a seizure and fell but I caught her before she hit the ground, so then she's seizing in my arms. And this other girl in our class started helping as well. But I had absolutely no idea what to do, and again it had been so long since she last had one (like so long ago that the last time she had one, I didn't even know her yet) so I wasn't sure if something triggered it or something was wrong with the medicine, but anyways I started thinking back to when I was still watching Grey's and remembered how they treated seizures so i was like "okay hold her head and put something in her mouth to keep her tongue down" and yeah me and this girl are doing that, and I'm freaking out not sure if what I was doing was correct and helping or not, and luckly it did end up working until the ambulance came, then she goes to the hospital, but literally the rest of the day im like panicking and worried and just replaying it over and over in my head, and later she had text me to tell she was okay and all that, and she basically told the doctor how I caught her and the doctor was like "your friend saved you, if she wasn't behind you, you would have hit ur head and would have serious injuries or worse" so like yeah and even till this day I still think about it and everytime her and I hang out I'm always being super careful and when we watch movies I'm always googling the warnings to make sure it won't trigger them, and I'm always texting her to use her medicine and all that.

Sooo I wanted to say even though we only touched on it a little bit in S&C, and we're gonna see it more in r&r, when r&r reader went into a seizure it kind of like brought back this memory, and I also can't even begin to imagine what Satoru and Suguru were thinking and feeling. Satoru freaking out about "what went wrong, I did everything right, did i mess up with the medicine?" And then he began to question his skills and her treatment, this I related to because for me when my friend had seized I was just stuck thinking the same thoughts that satoru had (what went wrong, is her medicine working, did something cause this??) And then Suguru probably feels extremely guilty since he was with reader the whole time. I also related to this because I was with my best friend the whole time, and I just felt guilty because I didn't take her to see the nurse sooner, and I started thinking "maybe if I had taken her to the nurse then we could have caught it sooner then when we did".

But yeah I wanted to say, I think you're great writer, and even the fact I relate to a lot of it and kind of experience some of the similar things, sort of proves my point. I know you question a lot of writing over the topics you aren't sure about (for example the treatments and procedures) but I think you're doing a great job and you shouldn't doubt it so much, from what I study and know, a lot of the things you talk about make sense. Also the fact you were able to explain the seizure and everything that was happening and then tieing into two people who care about her (Suguru and Satoru) and having them worry and then question their skills, as well as both of their thought processes, connects and very similarly relates to someone who's experienced it irl. And I think that's what great about it. It feels very real and just sort of connects with me.

I think I might have not explained this as great as It sounded in my head, but I hope you understand what I was trying to say😭 in short, you're doing great, everything you're writing makes sense, and that's coming from someone who's experienced similar things irl. So please Don't doubt it so much! And please keep at it! You're doing a great job explaining all of it, as well as keeping it realistic! Ily and I'm very excited both the next parts of s&c and r&r. 💛

(Also sorry if this was triggering in some way for you or anyone who reads it, I'm not sure if this was something i could say in your inbox or not, but i still wanted to express it and tell you how my experience with these things makes me relate to your writing! You can delete it if im not allowed to say this) 🫶

oh wow, thank you so much for sharing such a personal story. it's incredible how you were able to help your friend during such a scary moment !! & it's so sweet of you that you stay vigilant even now, checking movie warnings and reminding her about medicine.

and i'm so happy (might not be the best word but yk) that you can connect with these stories on such a deep level. sometimes people might look at certain situations or reactions in stories and think that seems over the top or like why would someone react that way? but then when you actually experience something similar yourself, it all clicks into place.

like with your experience, until someone has actually been in a medical emergency with someone they care about, they might not understand that spiral of thoughts and worry that comes after, or why characters might become extra protective or careful afterward.

personally ive been binging all of greys anatomy bc its a Big Show and its also just the kind of bad show i adore sdfdsf so i wonder if you have a Much better option than mine -🧠

The boy and the heron, first time watch, 1/3rd into it i went "oh this is just gonna get me double depressed isn't it?" /Hj. But it came to netflix brazil recently so ive been meaning to watch.

Grey's anatomy is not my style but considering i dont tend to watch shit with a lot of seasons its not surprising

I just finished Gray's Anatomy last week after a month long binge and I've watched house at least twice, maybe three times. (I watched it when it originally aired)

ugh literally all of my fav shows 😩😩 private practice i would say is better than greys at times but i think it's because grey's is such a lot to take in that it's a nice break from it while also feeling familiar!!

im on my first watch through of house and currently almost done s7, though i know how the rest of the show goes and so far it's become my favourite medical drama

TOP SHIPS OF ALL TIME:

this is in no order but it will be numbered for my sanity.

1. slexie - mark and lexie/greys anatomy

• i am so attached to this ship, i have never sobbed so hard an my life than when i first watched the season 8 finale/season 9 premiere of greys anatomy. i still rewatch only their seasons quite often.

2. catradora - catra and adora/SPOP

• ultimate comfort ship, i rewatch she ra whenever i am going through it. i first watched it when i was 15 and i still watch it for comfort. 15 is a nostalgic age for me, she ra reminds me of what it was like before anxiety. 😩

3. korrasami - korra and asami/LOK

• another comfort ship, comfort show, etc. lok and avatar are more shows i watched when i was 15, when the pandemic hit i was almost 16. i was locked up in my room, no school, no going out, no friends. i had a basement room with a couch and a huge tv, i spent MANY weeks watching netflix on that couch and the feeling was immaculate. i rewatch the atlau shows VERY often.

4. bellarke - bellamy and clarke/the 100

• once again another comfort show, i rewatch the 100 annually and have been watching it since season 4 came out. my dad started watching it, then my mom, then my sister. it became a show we watched all together, and i had a little ritual when it came to new seasons. i am an impatient person in some ways more than others, i do not have the patience to maintain interest when watching episodes weekly but i have no issue waiting for the whole season to be out. so every year as the episodes came out, i ignored them. when they all hit netflix, i would binge. however, for season 7 of the 100 i waited 2 years. i think i was procrastinating letting it end. bellarke was THE slowburn. i was so sure they would end up together, in a way im glad they didn't, but i loved them so much. i cannot describe the way that i feel when watching them and this show.

5. clexa - clarke and lexa/the 100

• GAY SLOWBURN. y'all i have so many fics i read consistently about clexa. i have like 3 on shuffle that i've read 10 times minimum. i cry like a bitch every time i rewatch s2-3 of the 100.

6. avatrice - ava and beatrice/warrior nun

• so i had heard a lot and seen a lot about this show before i actually watched it, which was actually in january of this year, several months after the 2nd (and final 🥲) season came out. i QUICKLY fell in love w both avatrice and ava/beatrice as individuals. i also read a lot of avatrice fics and cry thinking abt it being cancelled 😭

7. stydia - stiles and lydia/teen wolf

• BEST SLOWBURN OF ALL TIMEEE. it's weird to think teen wolf ended SIX years ago, this is another show i rewatch annually and what's funny is when i was 12 watching this show i did not care for stydia. i liked scott's relationships with allison and kira, never paid much attention to stiles and lydia until i was 16/17 and i rewatched and realized that they are AMAZING.

8. sameena - sam and deena/fear street

• MORE ANNUAL REWATCH SERIES. i LOVE LOVE LOVE these movies, and when i say sam and deena i am also including sarah and hannah. ex's/enemies to lovers in HORROR? forbidden love? sapphics? say less.

9. glaggie - glenn and maggie/twd

• so this was my first ship ever. started watching this when i was 11, i watched it over and over and over, i read the first 3 compendiums of the comics, then season 7 rolled around, i watched three first episode live then never watched another episode last season 6 again.

10. delena - damon and elena/tvd

• honestly they sort of give me the ick now but 12 year old me ATE that shit up, would also like to add they were my sexual awakening. i remember watching one of their spicy scenes and feeling a little funny 🥴

11. wayhaught - waverly and nicole/wynonna earp

• hottest ship ever. i fucking love them and i still need to watch the most reason season which is not that recent.

12. (honorable mention) camren - camila and lauren/5h

• camren gets only an honorable mention bc i don't ship them anymore, but they were MY gay awakening. when i was 13 i discovered fifth harmony and, naturally, i discovered ✨camren fanfiction✨ i literally did not know i was gay until i started reading fics about them. it just clicked when i felt more reading than i ever had for real life boys. :) anyways i don't support shipping real people anymore at my ripe age of 18.

my yearly show binge watch sched :

every year I literally rewatch all my fav shows over again. I fall in love with them again every year, and I've really been looking forward to it this year.

so currently im watching greys anatomy. such a good show, but will literally probably take me like 3 months to finish since im so busy lol.

but once I finish greys again, back on my sex and the city binge. I rewatched it like 3 or 4 times last year, and im doing it again yup. it's just that good, and a show that is sooooo deep in my heart.

I think im gonna rewatch adventure time again. I literally just finished binging it, but god was it so good. totally gonna watch it again this year. along with the L word, again. I literally love that show so much how could I NOT watch it again.

GOSSIP GIRL! haven't watched this one in a minute honestly, so excited to binge it again this year. also, this means the OG gg along with the reboot :p.

YOU. this is such a good show, and I haven't really watched it in full, all seasons back to back. also I think there's another season coming this year, so it was inevitable.

good girls. I've been wanting to watch this one again, prob won't do it until late this year tho.

god these r so many shows. I just do not have the time :,D .

“Hmmm,” said Tessa, depositing Mina into Kit’s waiting arms and examining her buzzing phone critically. She shot a quizzical look in his direction.

Jem looked up from his novel. “What is ‘hmmm’, my love?”

Kit mimed vomiting but stopped dead in his tracks when she replied, “it’s Astrid’s mother. You remember her from parent teacher night, don’t you, my darling?” Kit swears they were being extra insufferable just to mess with him but he didn’t have the time to be annoyed when Astrid’s. Mom. Was. Calling. Tessa.

To understand why Kit was panicking as much as he was, you must know that Astrid’s mom was incredibly chill. She never got mad. The worst punishment she’d ever given her daughter was taking away her iPod for a week so she couldn’t listen to Mitski.

Was she calling about last night when Astrid, Mari and Kit threw eggs at the Shadowhunter’s that were giving Mari’s pack a hard time for no reason? No, that couldn’t be it. She’d given them the eggs.

Could the call be about the day before yesterday when Kit and Astrid got distracted doing homework and ended up snapping the coffee table clean in half while battling gladiator style with pool noodles? No, that wasn’t it. She’d just handed Astrid a twenty and told them to go to Kevin’s parents' shop and get a new one. Was she pissed because they ended up spending the money on ice cream instead? No, they ended up finding a table for free in the rubbing bin outside a fancy hotel.

Kit clutched his sister to his chest and prepared for the worst.

“Seo-yoon! What can I do for- Oh, hello Astrid!” Tessa paused briefly, presumably to listen to Astrid speak, and Kit sighed in relief.

“Kit is occupied at the moment but I can relay the message.” Another pause. “Oh don’t be frightened of me. I’m a tots rad mom. Your secret is safe with me.” Kit felt his face flush red as he heard his best friend’s laughter echo across the living room. “Okay! I’ll let him know. He has to get Mina to sleep before he can leave though. Lord knows he’s the only one who can these days.” Tessa chuckled at something Astrid said before wishing her good luck in her endeavour and ending the call.

She turned her attention back to Kit. “Astrid needs your help breaking into your teacher’s home to retrieve her cell phone.”

Kit blinked at her, dumbfounded. “You aren’t mad I’m going to go break the law?”

Because of course he was doing it. Astrid’s dad had bought it for her and he was extremely cautious about money. That was one of three things Kit knew about her dad. He was cheap, he lived in America and he loved the movie Fight Club.

Tessa ruffled Kit’s hair affectionately. “Please. I’ve raised two other Herondales. At least I know about this particular adventure beforehand.”

Mina began snoring softly and Kit handed her back to her mother. He grabbed his bag and started his journey to the door when Tessa added, “she also told me to say hi to a ‘daddy Kit’. Are you ‘daddy Kit?’”

‘Daddy Kit’ closed his eyes and wished for the sweet release of death.

“Why is Kit a daddy,” Jem asked, genuinely confused. “Aren’t I the daddy?”

Kit swung the door open so fast not even a speed rune could have aided him. But not before I heard Tessa reply, “Lily Chen certainly thinks so.”

Mrs. MacNamara clapped her hands together. “Why don’t we all go around and say a few things about ourselves?”

Kit buried his face into his hands. He’d been relieved when no other teacher had fulfilled the Disney channel stereotype of making every student introduce themselves to the new kid. But Mrs. MacNamara didn’t even seem to realize what she was doing.

All Kit’s fellow classmates groan. Expect one. Her hand shot up immediately. She was short, like smaller than Clary short. She wore a baggy pink shirt with the words ‘Queen Glimmer of Etheria’ sewed on with purple sequins and tight black jeans. Her colourful, choppy hair was in a low ponytail and she flew a few strands out of her eyes as her hand wiggled in the hair.

Mrs. MacNamara pointed at her. She stood up and smiled at Kit. “Hi. My name is Astrid. My hobbies include making my little cousin’s girl Barbies kiss, as it should be, and watching television shows where everyone is a terrible person so you can love all of them!”

“And what shows might that be?” asked Kit, already in the process of pulling out his phone and opening the Notes app.

“Grey’s Anatomy, Glee, Grey’s Anatomy again because it’s seventeen seasons as of right now. And to be fair it practically became a different show when they killed off Mark Sloan.”

“That’s enough, Miss Yang,” said Mrs. MacNamara. Astrid sat down and winked at Kit. Then she took out her phone and airdropped him a complete list of all her favorite shows, along with her number.

After Blessica’s pre-birthday birthday party, they went to Cirenworth and stayed up till four A.M. binging them.

They met outside a queer dry bar called Aries Not Welcome, the unspoken gathering place of the Merry Hoes. It was run by a poly lesbian couple in their mid-thirties. Quinn, Sydney and Aliyah may not have served alcohol but at least they were open 24/7.

“Did you bring the shit?”

Kit gave her a look. “The shit? How conclusive.”

“Shut up. You know, the shadowhunter thing.”

“The shadowhunter thing?”

“The, the, the glow stick that you draw with.”

“The glow stick that I draw wi-“ Kit closed his eyes briefly. “Do you mean a stele?”

Astrid snapped her fingers. “That’s it!” Kit shook his head in exasperation, smiling fondly. “I borrowed a torch from Quinn, let’s move.”

“Should I be worried that you know where Mr. Smith lives?” questioned Kit as he followed Astrid’s lead through the park.

“Should I be worried that your mom was fine with us breaking and entering?” she shot back playfully. Kit pushed Astrid and she fell off the path, laughing all the way.

“You called me ‘daddy’ to my mom’s face.”

She just laughed harder, slinging her arm around Kit’s shoulder. “It was over the phone, Christopher. And as I should.”

“Pffffttt. Why did you get your phone taken anyway?” She put her hands into her jumper pocket and looked at the ground. “Astrid.” She remained silent. “Astrid?”

She mumbled something under her breath. “What?” asked Kit.

“I WAS READING NINEJ FANFICTION!” she shouted.

Kit gasped. “I thought you were a die hard Kanej shipper,” he whispered.

“I’m a multishipper, okay?!” she replied, equally quiet.

“Does Blessica know?”

She shook her head. “And she will never find out.”

Kit saw the opportunity and he seized it. “She’ll never find out as long as you never call me daddy in front of either of my parents.”

She removed her arm from his shoulder and guided them out of the park, in the direction of the many apartments that lined this side of town. “I hate you.”

“Well, so does Mari. You're not special, Ast.”

She rolled her eyes. “You know Mari doesn’t actually hate you, right?! They’re just still in the enemy phase of your enemies-to-lovers romance. She only dislikes you because they feel something for you but they don’t know what so she interrupts it as loathing. In reality, her inner soul knows you’re hot and shmexie.”

Kit didn’t know how to process this so he just nodded and follow Astrid in silence to Mr. Smith’s house. (Plus, he was kinda glad that, according to his best friend, he had a little more time for Mari to ‘discover their true feelings’. If Kit screwed this up, he was out of countries to run off to.)

“Oh you have got to be fucking kidding me.”

“What,” asked Kit, turning around to face Astrid and closing the drawer he was rifling through. “Did you find your phone?”

“Yeah. But I also found Blessica’s. She was Snapping Kevin. Platonic my ass. But he took the fucking trans flag out of her phone!”

Kit snatched Blessica’s phone out of her hand to examine it for herself. She was telling the truth. Where the glitter pride flag usually rested was just a clear purple case. Kit couldn’t believe his eyes.

“It’s one thing to misgender her every day.” Blessica had forced all four of the other Merry Hoes to sign a contract saying they wouldn’t do anything to harm him because of it. “But this is the last straw. You know what we have to do.” Oops.

“Yeah, but we don’t have any spray paint.”

Kit eyed Mr. Smith’s pink sofa, blue bar stool covers and white picture frames. “I think I have something better in mind.”

It would have been easier for both parties to just zip off the sofa cushions and tape them to the wall but by ripping them off in strips, they ensured he would have to buy new ones. And judging by the car he drove and the fiji water in his fridge, Mr. Smith could definitely afford it.

That reminded him, “I’ll finish up with this. Go put all his fiji water into my bag.” Astrid saluted him and ran off. “Wait.” She stopped and looked at him. “Steal all the remotes you can find.”

“How is he not awake?,” asked Astrid as they ripped the fabric of his seating from the stool.

He shrugged. “Don’t question it.” He shoved the bundle of cloth into her arms. “Glue this above the pink. I’ll handle the frames.”

“Say the magic word,” she sang.

“Please?”

“No. Lesbian. Come on, I thought you knew me better than that.”

Kit laughed quietly. “Can you lesbian glue this above the pink?”

She grinned at Kit. “It would be my pleasure.”

I love Modern Family. I binge watch that and Brooklyn 99. I just finished watching Living Single, another comedy sitcom. I was into Grey's Anatomy, but then it just kept going on and on with drama and not much medical stuff, that I didn't find it interesting anymore lol

You know, I am the same way with movies when it comes to psychological thrillers. I want to know the whys of the killers mind and not really focusing on the bloody stuff. I enjoyed The Conjuring movies because it gave the background of how things started.

This may sound crazy, but my favorite movies are musicals. I love Phantom of the Opera and Rent. I also love the marvel stuff, Fight Club, and my guilty pleasure...The Notebook.

Music wise, my repeats right now are Heartbreak Anniversary by Giveon, Leave Before you Love me by Jonas Brothers, Older by 5 Seconds of Summer. I have so many different playlists on Spotify though, and they range from pop to rap to filipino songs to country to classical 😅

So like to do batting cages, are you good at any other sports?

Oh yeah, Modern Family is so funny.. i love it. I sometimes even plays it in the background for my comfort or when i'm writing if im not listening to music.

I never watch brooklyn 99 and living single.. other sitcoms i watch often are The Big Bang Theory and Everybody Loves Raymond 😁.

Ah okay, i watched greys before but not too long.. sometimes i watch House. I sometimes rewatch Lucifer. And series that im currently watch whn i have the chance is The Mentalist..it's sooo good. I think u will like it.. because it's a crime solving movie but the main character tries to solve them by focusing on the killer's way of thinking or logic n other little details around.. i swear each episode always have plot twist.

The Conjuring scared me. I used to like to watch ghost scary movies but I stopped after I moved here because i feel that the ghosts r close n usually the house n the apartment looks similar kinda to where i live😅

I loveee The Phantom Of The Opera! Well i'm a big fan of the original singer who plays Christine Dae. I dont know if u know her, her name is Sarah Brightman. She's a british sopranos n she invented the "classical crossover" genre. U should check her music sometimes. I love almost all type of music as long as it doesnt sound too much to my ears

Nah,im not that good at sport. I would do more sports though if i dont have knee injury. N i go to batting cage just for fun n hit some balls. I love baseball.

Astrology? Something like horroscope or something? Yeah i do.
