American Television after 5 years of pushing for queer representation: I hope you wanted unnecessary drama, angst with a maybe resolution, and three unfulfilling seasons of questionably written flirtation. Fear - Cat. Puffed up 99.9% of the time.

Disgust - Rat. Thought to be gross creatures but are actually one of the neatest.

Sadness - Snow Leopard. Icy, cold, the tail simply drags on the ground behind her.

Anxiety - Lion. Courageous. I count this one as per-existing even though I can't find the original image I saw of her with a tail.

Envy - Squirrel. Just for the cuteness. Her tail is larger than she is.

Ennui - Monkey. Prehensile tail for holding things and hanging off stuff.

Embarrassment - Bear. C'mon, it's right in his name. Stupidly adorable just like him.

au based on this picture where they switch combat styles but almost everything else stays the same.

Sanji’s a swordsman but also a cook.

Zoro still fights Kuina but instead of learning to be a swordsman he learned martial arts.

Sanji is found by Zeff not in the cruise liner but instead he’s found by himself on an island after he escapes Germa and was at this point a swordsman because it was the only fighting style he knew to use for his survival. They still get stranded on the rock, and Zeff still opens the Baratie after their escape.

Zoro was the one stowed away on a ship and earned his keep there before he made it to Shimotsuki.

Kuina challenged him and he is never able to beat her. Constantly training to beat her and he never does.

Kuina becoming his best friend but she dies and he vows to become the world’s greatest fighter.

He takes Wado with him when he leaves and now he’s searching for someone that deserves to wield it. Someone that can challenge him the exact same way Kuina did. Someone he can entrust their shared dream with.

He becomes a pirate hunter, putting everything on pause until he makes it back home.

Then he meets Luffy, and becomes a pirate instead.

Then Zoro meets Nami, Usopp and eventually we get to Sanji. The weird swordsman cook. The swordsman cook who can’t keep his mouth shut, the swordsman cook who keeps up with him and challenges him in ways no one else is fully able to. The swordsman cook that makes sure everyone is fed and well taken care of despite everything.

Then they get more members of the crew; more people to protect and more people that have their own hopes and dreams.

Zoro deciding to entrust Sanji with his and Kuina’s dream in Thriller Bark. Him realizing that there’s no one else he would entrust this specific dream with (other than Luffy but it’s not exactly the same).

Zoro gripping Wado after knocking Sanji unconscious in case he doesn’t make it and yet he still wants to entrust Wado to Sanji.

Him in FACT making it and post thriller bark he just gives the swordsman cook the sword. No other words needed. Sanji getting it and taking extra care of Wado because he knows it’s special to Zoro and he’s been entrusted with it. He makes sure it’s in perfect condition while also handling it and honoring Zoro’s quiet wish.
