UPDATES ON MY JOURNEY

Heyy all! I've been focusing on my senior professional medical year and it has been stressful. So here are some things I manifested effortlessly and a few things without me thinking about it. Long ass post ahead! ⚠️⚠️

1. Getting more pocket money than usual. Like my parents usually transact in my account like a $80 or $100 AUD per month. But in both feb and march this year, they transacted me $500 and $700 AUD! Plus! I occasionally find $10 or $50 cash in my classroom or on the streets sometimes (and they come lie next to my feet 😭) I'd ask everyone in my class if it's theirs, and they say no. What do y'all expect me to do? Like go and give it to the university management?? 😭 hell no, so i kept it lol.

2. MANIFESTED DIOR'S LIP OILS!! 😭😭 LIKE 5 OF THEM 😭 YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH I'VE OBSESSED WITH LIP OILS 😭😭 AND I WANTED THE RASPBERRY ONE SO BAD, AND GUESS WHAT? I MANIFESTED IT ALONG WITH 4 OTHER SHADESS OMGGG 😭😭😭

3. My crush giving me hints that she's obsessed with me 😭 like she literally told me 'you're so sweet and caring, I've never met a person like this after my grandma' cus her grandma passed away recently and she was so depressed. She even had an eye infection, so she stopped coming to the uni. So i had to make sure she's alright, and met her everyday cus she needed someone real bad. Like she needed to talk to someone and get that thing bothering her outta her head. I was there all along whatever she was going through (don't come at me y'all, ik if we help someone they would say all these things but she's my crush lol so) She's also getting real close to me, like she tells me how annoying people are lol. She loves skin ship, physical touch, being clingy around me, and complimenting me 😭😭 so these are the hints 😭 like friends wouldn't do that right? Would they?? (My friends diss me right in front of everyone 😶)

4. I've always been the type to care too much for the silliest things, nowadays I don't really put my energy into it and become all anxious. My anxiety levels have completely gone down like I'm literally cool asf?? Even while being in public?? Literally yess

5. Manifested getting my hair coloured next week! and my mom permitted me! For my cousin's engagement in april, I wanna be there like the hot younger sister I am lol. I just wanna make my relatives and their kids jealous cus they made fun of me when I was younger (my younger self has been dreaming for this moment) so why not a revenge glow up?? 😭

6. Losing weight even though I eat like a pig due to my study stress. Like literally I ate a 5 course meal one day and lost 2 kgs the next day? (cus I randomly checked my weight for 2 days cus I had to submit my height and weight to the university student records)

7. Getting a natural blush on my face! Like it's such a game changer, I look like a movie star y'all 😭✋🏻

8. My teachers complimenting me for my discipline and high scores. As yk uni professors don't even give af bout students and they complimented me??

9. Getting into a new friend group! My old one was too toxic and they would always bully me (verbally) my new friend group is literally soo damn enjoyable! Like they're the cool kids of the year 😭 and now I'm one too!

10. As I mentioned in my older post that I'm moving into an apartment. We moved in and it was too difficult for me to sleep as the place was new and also there we're disturbances in the night time like stomping noises or playing loud music at night. So the neighbors there were too sweet that they introduced and comforted us that it's okay and if something's bothering us they'll take care of it. And they literally made the people who we're causing those disturbances to vacate out 😭😭✋🏻

11. My hair getting shinier! It was brittle before as I was severely anemic, now my baby hair is back and it's shining ✨

12. I overheard my parents conversing that they should make me audition for an entertainment company....like what? 😭😭✋🏻 when I asked them once years back they denied giving me a 4 hour lecture and now they wanna make me audition?? Like literally 😭 y'all watch me at the Grammy's (after 5 years lol)

13. Getting into the void on command or intention.

14. I literally get free foods everywhere I go 😭😭

15. I got free gifts from my uncle who's living in France! He works at a fashion company and he sent me perfumes and a few outfits (I can't reveal it I'm sorry)

I ONLY WAS THINKING ABOUT GETTING MY LIP OIL, GETTING CLOSE TO MY CRUSH AND FOCUSING ON MY STUDIES. THE REST, I MANIFESTED WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT IT.

SO WHAT NEXT?

I've decided to respawn to my waiting next month. I'm still scripting how my waiting room should be... So it might take time for me. So till then I'm gonna be strengthening my self concept even more, and also getting more and more excited to be in my waiting room! I want my waiting room to be like a more like a sci fi movie and a princess fairytale combined 😭 (ik I'm weird). Like I just want my favorite anime characters to be there to help me script my DR ✋🏻 So I'm kinda in a more excited mode lately to script my waiting room! Litte details abt my Hazbin rewrite that i wanna share :)

OK SO!!! IT'S DOOOOOONEEEE!!!!!!

So I FINALLY finished drawing out everything I wrote out for some major plot point in my hazbin rewrite 😋 BUT!!!

There's some things that I have made art of or talked about that are sorta important (but they're really not, just some silly things that I pictured in this that I never got the chance to talk about yet LOL!!!)

If you don't really care, feel free to skip this but there are some little doodles here too that will basically get all my points across just as well!

-So first point, I've touched on this a little bit here but Niffty and Husk are BROS. Like fr ride or die with each other.

In this rewrite, I want Niffty to have been an overlord like Husk (or at least just as powerful as he is because I feel like Alastor is EXTREMELY attracted to power and he wouldn't just make deals with weak as shit people unless he was gaining something GRAND).

But Husk and Niffty, they both.... really hate Alastor. I think Husk is much more vocal with his hatred towards Alastor but do NOT be fooled, NIFFTY WANTS HIS ASS IN THE GROUND TOO!!!!!!

And I think it's because of this hatred, because of this shared, unfortunate situation that they've both found themselves in in regards to being contracted to the Radio Demon, I think they are really close. Like, they look out for each other and watch each others backs because who else is gonna do it? ALASTOR? LOL!!!!

-Here's my Sir Pentious and Cherri Bomb designs!! I realized when I was making all those drawings for the rewrite that I never drew them! So here they are! 😋

Pentious has prosthetic arms that he made himself not too long after he arrived in Hell YEARS AGO bc I wanted to REAAALLY lean into the whole snake thing. And I also made him more steampunk-y because I think it's cool and that he'd look super adorable with little gear markings on his scales

And I read that Cherri died in around the 80's so I wanted to give her an aussie rocker look LMAOO Wild hair, big ol' hoop earrings and tattered clothes because she's COOL!!

-Niffty is the (m)hotel's maid/rooms keeper still (and it was only SLIGHTLY degrading in the beginning). The biggest reasons Alastor made her the maid is because of her OCD (he's an old man from the 1930's, he thinks OCD means being a neat freak) and because she is able to control all kinds of insects and vermin- which the hotel is INFESTED with

Niffty is also the only one with a spare key to Charlie and Vaggie's house, she's honestly the one they trust the MOST out of everyone at the hotel to have a key to their place in case of an emergency (and she only abuses it SOMETIMES)

-HUSK IS NOT THE HOTEL BARTENDER IN THIS!!!!!!

When I designed the hotel to look more like a motel, obviously there was no place to put a bar and I WANTED THAT! Like, I understand the humor in having a bar in a rehabilitation facility (it IS REALLY FUNNY I KNOW) but I really don't think that, even in this, neither Charlie or Vaggie would allow Alastor or Angel or anyone else to tell THEM what the hotel needs.

Like, they LITERALLY built this place with their BARE HANDS, I think they're both verrrry resistant to any changes and such that others may want to implement (for both the good and bad), even if that person was THE Radio Demon

So instead, Alastor had brought him in as a sorta bodyguard for the hotel (as a huge middle finger to Vaggie, who is not only the hotel manager but also is a very ready protector of this place)

(Husk DOES still sell liquor though, like that is something that is totally happening, it's just very hush-hush. He keeps it in his room and sells it to the patrons of the hotel (sometimes Pretentious and most of the time it's just Angel. Charlie and Vaggie have no idea this is happening))

(Niffty 100% knows since she's the one who cleans the rooms but she wouldn't sell out Husk because that's her bro)

-And speaking of the Radio Demon!!! Neither Charlie or Vaggie are scared of him. I mean, they're not really scared of him in canon (they could be sometimes tho ig)

Charlie is one of the strongest beings in Hell and Vaggie is (secretly) an angel who, as far as they all know, can't be killed by a Sinner. So neither of them are really threatened by him. Vaggie definitely voices this more than Charlie does, in fact, Charlie is almost always more than happy to just let Alastor talk and threaten as much as he wants because she's not violent and is very humble (that's what good people do, right?)

Alastor is also just as good of a Facility Manager of the Hazbin Hotel as he is in canon, and by that I mean he does not do his job and when he does, he sucks at it LOLLLL. He is very unhelpful.

-Sundays are the only day where the hotel isn't doing any reformative work/lessons so it's everyones' day off (it's holy day AMEN!) 

(Charlie WOULD make them pray on Sundays if it wasn't for the fact that every time she would try to guide a prayer, she would bleed from every hole in her body) 

-AND THE LAST POINT IS....

The Hazbin Hotel doesn't JUST do lessons in goodness, they also teach about the 10 Commandments and go on “field trips” to do volunteer work (soup kitchens, cleaning parks, helping Hell with one smile at a time :)

A/N: HI THANK U ILY I am not 100% sure this is what u wanted but I just had this idea and ran with it also it was so fun to write a NOBODY IS DEAD WE ALL ARE HAPPY AU.

Summary: The kids get to play with their cousins, Nanako and Mimiko.

“AUNTY Y/N!” Echoed across the field, the two high-pitched voices were only amplified by their excitement.

“Girls! Hi babies!” You kneel and scoop them both into a big squeezy hug.

“Where’s Uncle ‘Gogo?” The blonde girl asks. They both began calling your boyfriend Gogo when they were both only 3, and it stuck.

“He’s inside with your cousins! Where’s your papa?” You ask, wiping a smudge of chocolate off the dark-haired girl’s face.

“He went to go find Uncle ‘Toru, he has ‘Miki’s birthday present. Look what we got!” They cheer as both take out stuffed toys, one a ladybug and one a butterfly.

“Oh, they are so beautiful! Do they have names?” You ask, taking each girl by their tiny hands and walking inside to find the two men.

As you round the corner, you see them both smiling and laughing together, a huge box wrapped in yellow paper between them.

“UNCLE GOGO!” Your hands are left empty as the two girls barrel toward their favourite uncle (only uncle), he immediately scoops them both up onto his shoulders and spins them around, so you make your way to the other man.

“That is an exceptionally large box for a 9-year old’s birthday present, Suguru.” You raise your eyebrows at him, only to be met with a smirk.

“You’re the only good thing that came in a small package, Y/N/N.” He laughs, throwing a languid arm around your shoulders and pressing a kiss to the top of your head.

“Do you guys have fun seeing your parents this weekend?” You ask.

“The girls did, I think my parents can’t see me when the girls are around.” He huffs a laugh, the Geto parents absolutely dote on the two girls.

“NANA! MIMI!” Another young girl voice nearly deafens you all.

Tsumiki and Megumi come into the room to see you all, after you had sent them to wash up after playing outside for so long.

“So, fucking loud.” Came a grumpy grumble from the 8-year-old Megumi.

“‘Gumi, remember what I said about swearing.” You chastise.

“Only do it at home or if someone’s being a real dickhead.” He recites your rule.

“Hey lil’ man, what’s up?” Suguru asks, ruffling the boy's hair.

“Eh, not much. I can summon Toad now.” The boy shrugs, he liked his Uncle Suguru – he was pretty chill.

“Nice one, kid. Show me later? If that’s okay with your mama?” Your brother-in-all-but-blood asks.

“Fine by me, I promised the girls I’d make them all their favourite flowers anyway. So, we can all have lunch outside?” You ask.

You turn around to find your boyfriend levitating with all three girls.

“It’s like having another kid. Can everyone help me take some food outside so we can have Tsumiki’s birthday picnic?” The kids each took a plate of stuff and then the two grown man children started a competition of who could carry the most plates, to which you quickly put a stop to – they invite disaster and usually you are an equal agent of their chaos, but you worked hard on this party food, goddamit.

Satoru then grabs the bag of gifts and Suguru takes his giant box.

As you’re all situated on the blue and white gingham picnic blanket you light the ‘9’ candle on the strawberry cake your adopted daughter requested. You all sing happy birthday to her, and she blows out the candle with a big huff. Megumi rolls his eyes, as if he wasn’t equally excited last December when it was his turn. He’s like Nanami, you think, acts all cool and indifferent but is actually a total teddy bear.

“Wanna open your gifts, ‘Miki?” Suguru asks.

She begins to unwrap them, Nanami had sent her the box set of Nancy Drew books, Utahime got her a cute heart shaped purse with her name on it, Yaga had made her a doll that dances to music and Shoko got her a Nerf Rebelle Bow and Arrow set – with a note that said, ‘now you can match your mom, aunty Koko’. Next was the twins, Nanako produced a gift bag with a set of hair chalk in loads of colours that Tsumiki made you promise you’d do for all the girls and Satoru later on. Mimiko got her a Tamagotchi in blue, her favourite colour.

Next up was her brother, Megumi was a fiery red and grumbled out a barely comprehensible’Happy birthday Tsumiki.’ This was truly a testament to how much he loved his sister, because for Megumi this was the equivalent of a gushing profession of sibling love and bond. He slid a pizza sized box at her to which she opened in delight to find a 160-piece art set. He had insisted on using his own pocket money for the gift, and you just melted. Tsumiki was a talented artist, and it was by far her favourite hobby. She couldn’t contain her excitement and tossed her arms around her brother (who looked surprisingly happy at this sudden affection).

“Cmere, doll. Open mine next.” Said Suguru, pushing the large box to her.

She rips open the paper and once again, squeals.

“A SKATEBOARD?!?! THANK YOU SO MUCH UNCLE SUGU!” She threw her arms around his hips, the man almost as tall as Satoru who was practically a giant to the kids.

“Mama, dad – look! It’s blue!”

“What?! That’s so awesome ‘Miki! Now you can come skating with me and Uncle Sugu!” Satoru adds, equally as excited – he could now teach her something cool with his best friend.

After a moment of trying to balance on her new board, you usher her to you as Satoru comes back out of the house with an absolutely ginormous box. Of course, you knew what this one was. The terrible wrapping job was you and your boyfriend’s handiwork.

“Tsumiki, this one is from us.” Satoru says as he sits the box on the grass, and wraps an arm around your waist, pressing a kiss to your temple as you rest a hand on his chest.

“I hope you like it sweet girl, happy birthday!” You grin, the excitement for her to open it is bubbling inside you.

She rips off the paper and…

Silence.

Wait… silence?

Did she not like it? Oh my god, are they tears?!

You and Satoru rush to her.

“Babygirl what’s wrong? Is it not okay? Is it the wrong colour? We can get you another one! Or every colour? Do you want to get all the colours? I’ll go right now.” Satoru says, as you frantically nod in agreement.

Tsumiki just tosses herself like a rag doll between you both and wraps her small arms around you necks.

“It’s just so pretty! I wanted it so much and I can’t believe you guys got it for me, I love it so much. Thank you thank you thank you thank you.” She says between heaving sobs.

You both sag in relief. You’d gotten a similar, if more understated reaction from Megumi a few months ago when he opened his birthday present. You’d converted a walk-in closet in the spare bedroom to make him a library for him. The floor was covered in cushions and bean bags, there was space for his dogs to sit with him, floor to ceiling shelves filled with books lining the room and in a hidden compartment was a PlayStation for him to play on. You’d also gotten a mini fridge so he could have snacks in there. You’ve lost count of how many nights Satoru has had to pick him up after he’s fallen asleep reading in his ‘library’ curled up on a bean bag and tuck him into bed. The sparkles in his eyes as he’d opened the door to the room may have been the most special thing you’d seen ever. Your cottage wasn’t huge, but the spare room closet was just a wasted space, so it made perfect sense to use it as the introverted child’s escape while also encouraging him to keep up his love of books.

But right now, you had a happy sobbing 9-year-old on your hands. Satoru looked at you ever her shoulders, a huge white, dazzling grin on his handsome face. Some people might think you spoil the kids, but Tsumiki spent too long being the grown up in her house and Megumi spent too long trying to not be a burden to her – they deserved this. They’re the most amazing kids.

Satoru winks at you, mouthing ‘we did good, princess.’ To which you blow him a kiss, because yeah, you guys did good.

“Do you wanna open it?” You ask her, grin on your face.

“Fuck yeah!” She adds.

“I’ll let that one slide.” You laugh at her.

She tears the box apart, and there in all its glory is her present.

A 5 story, 4 foot tall, 5-foot wide, Victorian style baby blue dollhouse. It was something every little girl dreamed of you remember passing them in stores at Christmas and nearly drooling looking at them when you were her age. She’d always spoken about wanting a dollhouse, so you decided to go all out with it.

Inside the house was boxes and boxes of furniture, tiny wallpaper and paint, even tiny kitchen utensils and soft furnishings – all ready for her to decorate the interior however she wants.

You had used your technique to even make a little everlasting garden in the front before it had all been wrapped up.

It truly was absolutely incredible, Tsumiki had dived right in and was examining everything and pointing it all out to you guys whenever she found something inside it.

“Look! A tiny cushion! It’s so cute! And oh my, a tiny teacup!” She showed you guys.

She invited Nanako and Mimiko to look with her, and even Megumi was curious about all of the tiny household goods – smiling when he sees a tiny dog bed and tiny dog bowls and a tiny cat scratch post.

“My birthday present from you guys was not half as cool as that.” Suguru elbowed you both.

“You’re 22 Suguru, do you want a dollhouse?” Which made him laugh, but Satoru’s mouth was agape.

“Suguru – how you wound me! We brought you to Bora Bora!” He mocks cries at this.

“Eh, not a dollhouse though, is it?” He smirks at his best friends' antics.

You look at the kids all playing on the blanket.

“Who’s birthdays next?” Suguru asks.

“Mine.” You smirk, eyebrows raised at the boys.

“Ha! You better pull up, ‘toru.” Geto laughs as Satoru smirks.

“Already sorted everything. Only the best for my princess.” He says, lifting you onto his lap for a kiss as you laugh at him - you’d told him you wanted a new pair of gardening gloves – but he’d give you the world if you asked for it.

You kiss him back, hands on his cheeks, stroking along his jaw.

“Ugh, you two are so gross and in love I hate it.” Suguru drawls, rolling his eyes.

Neither of you break away from the kiss, just both lift up a hand in his direction and raise your middle fingers.

- Emma and Hina r boring and used as romance plot devices it’s okay to admit that Wakui can’t write women idk I don’t expect shounen/men to be able to write girls well (still cried when Emma died tho bc she didn’t deserve it!!!)

- I actually do like Emma and Draken together but I also firmly believe Draken is in love w/Mikey and was just projecting onto Emma LMAO

- Controversial: I don’t think Shinchiro was THAT great of an older brother. Like he was cool but he still introduced Mikey and Izana into the world of gang life/normalizing violence and yeah OG Black Dragons isn’t like that but….what do u expect when u form a gang??? .obviously there’s a high chance that it’s gonna develop into LEGIT gang activity

- As an adult and someone who was basically raised by an older sibling w/a big age gap (my sis is 7 years older) I kinda don’t blame Takeomi for being a bad older brother??? Realistically he’s a 17 yr old in charge of raising 2 toddlers like NO SHIT he did a bad job. At least Shin had his grandfather to help out but Takeomi actually had no one. Doesn’t explain y he’s a brokey LOL buttttt again I don’t FULLY blame him for being a bad sibling still hurt my boi Sanzu 😤😤

- I HC that Mikey is used to having a caretaker (Draken and later Sanzu) bc when Shin died he was so depressed and genuinely couldn’t get out of bed

- Takemitchy is also lowkey boring/typical shounen protagonist and canonically stinky like Hina could do sm better. This is personal preference so I find myself wanting more chaotic/dumb protagonists who are slightly morally ambiguous like Denji, Gintoki, hell even Naruto at times. Takemitchy didn’t get character development until BD arc and that’s just a bit too long for me….

- Koko and Inui r gay and dating 💅🏻💅🏻💅🏻

- the Haitani brothers r the kardashians of the TR universe they’re so embarrassing Deadass show up and pose/do absolutely nothing I LOVE THEM SHKSKSKSK

- I love how it’s universally agreed that Mitsuya and Chifuyu r the best bois

- I have mixed feelings about Izana. I genuinely do like him and DESPISE how he’s whitewashed by fanart

- I get it u genuinely just wanted to not be alone and found out ur adopted in the worst way possible but…..idk how that justifies killing ur own sister but u do u ig 🤷‍♀️ and u have KAKUCHO AS UR FAMILY WTH

- don’t listen to me tho I’m a Mikey and Sanzu stan LMAOO 🤭🤭🤭

- Izana is the definition of mommy issues and 100% had crunchy hair lik mans was homeless

- 3 Deities Arc was amazing and also funny/serious at the same time. It literally was an all out brawl in an AMUSEMENT PARK

- fr tho wtf was Benkei, Wakasa and Takeomi doing there??? Like they’re canonically 27 GO GET A JOB STOP FIGHTING 15 YEAR OLDS SHKSKSKS

- U cannot tell me that Sanzu WASNT sad when Baji and Mucho died.

- Baji was straight up his childhood friend and the only one other than Senju who knows about the plane incident/Mikey’s possessive side. And In the OG!timeline I’m pretty sure Baji was the only friend Sanzu DIDNT attack. While with Mucho he was pretty much his older brother, Sanzu just decided Mikey was better

- Tbh if the dark impulses/Shin thing wasn’t real I would’ve firmly believed Mikey had DID or something. Which again made only worse by the fact that violence and death is such a regular thing in his life (GET THIS MAN THERAPY LIK WTF IS SHIN AND GRANDPA SANO DOING???)

- Kazutora going a lil crazy is lowkey expected and I hate how we only find out about his home life in the character books. This kid grew up in a physically and mentally abusive household (gaslight to pick between parents and as s/o who has experienced that shit it’s fucked up) and I rlly don’t think prison helped out his mental stability either no shit he tried to kill Mikey

- I don’t ship Mikey and Takemichy (despite the IMMENSE gay ness btwn them) firmly bc I think everyone can see how much power Takemitchy has over Mikey idk it has a weird power dynamic like if Takemitchy tried he could 100% control Mikey (platonically or romantically)

- Baji, Chifuyu and Kazutora r a throuple

- I HATE how Sanzu is reduced to this crazy drug addict. Sanzu is canonically smart, manipulative, and formally trained fighter. He also REMEMBERS the OG timeline, he had to experience Shin dying twice and everyone else die no shit he’s a little bonkers/needs drugs to take everything away. Plus his relationship to Mikey which tbh is a whole separate post

- controversial !!!: I ship Mikey and Sanzu or Mikey and Draken. Sanzu only bc this man has a big ass crush and deserves some niceness for once

- ppl write Kakucho as this shy, nice guy like ur not wrong but mans is also running UNPROVOKED into Yakuza offices like it’s the gym while dragging Rindou wit him 😭😭😭

- the haitanis r the best sibling duo

- It lowkey makes me mad in fanfics where Ran is depicted as cheating w/Rin’s gf like??? This man raised his younger brother himself u cannot tell me he doesn’t love his brother and would actually do that to him

Note: it's Taylor Swift centered because I find her music the perfect medium for storytelling and also cause she's the only artist i've been listening non-stop in the last year so yeah you don't have very much choice.

Also the songs are chosen purely based on the vibes they're giving me off, they might not be 100% accurate lore-wise.

Not rude at all! Though, honestly, I'm not 100% sure how to answer this.

Blood Moon is defiantly more romantic than a lot of games, but it's not as romantic as others. There are romantic scenes and moments, dates, and explicit content, but a large chunk of the game is also... not that.

Like the tagline says: date werewolves, fight vampires.

So, for every werewolf kiss, expect to have to punch a vampire or two.

If anyone who has played Blood Moon would like to comment on the romantic aspect of the game please do. As the author, I feel like I'm not the best person to describe it, because when I write the game I see every possible outcome, so it might seem different for me than someone playing it through.

As for vibes... There are eight romanceable characters and the feel of each romance is different.

CliffsNotes version:

Marco is a lanky blond guy who likes to joke around. He's got some insecurities, because he had a shitty upbringing, but he's also fiercely loving and loyal. He tends to 'match' with the player's character a lot, eg, when running side by side, they always run in lockstep. His romantic route has a lot of BFF to lovers vibes.

Vicky is a tall, muscular woman with a dark past. She's terrifying on the battlefield, but very soft and gentle with those she loves. Her romantic route is about finding peace and softness in a world at war. Great if you want to play a more world wary protagonist, through she can mesh with other sorts of characters too.

Ed is young, ambitious, cheeky, and idealistic. He's probably the most 'human' of the werewolves and strongly believes the world can and should be a better place, though he sometimes uses underhanded methods to make that happen. His route is pitched a little younger, and can include some 'first love' vibes.

Shawnie is a curvy red head with a sassy personality. She's very sexual but actually probably one of the hardest to win the heart of. You have to really get to know her, and prove that you're interested in her for her, before she really shows you her heart.

Roe is a non binary person, very beautiful, with long hair and a lean build. They can come across as aloof or cold, until you get to know them, then they'll show a fierce and passionate side. Romance route is VERY star-crossed lovers. They're torn between desire and duty.

Farro is the resident DILF. He's VERY tall and muscular. Think Pakistani lumberjack. He's also, in contrast to appearances, quite shy and reclusive. He has an eight year old daughter that is the opposite to him in almost every way. Be nice to the kid to win his heart.

Sergi is a stocky man, dark hair, dark eyes, and is older than the player's character by a decade or two (he will call you 'pup'). He has a playful personality, but undergoes some serious trauma throughout the story, so loses that for a large chunk of the game's runtime. The romance is a little forbidden love, but leans more toward shared trauma bringing people together.

Carrie is small, skinny, and covered in sharp edges. She can be rude and abrasive, especially before she gets to know the player's character, but beneath that has a heart of gold, for those willing to take their time to get to know her. Enemies to lovers, but perhaps not in the traditional sense.

Green Arrow #1 (2023)

I promised to yell my feelings about this issue so here! Are! My feelings!!!

Spoilers beneath the cut, obviously. Also, I won’t be including scans since I want to encourage people to buy this comic. It’s already selling so well that it was expanded from a 6 issue miniseries to 12 issues before the first issue even came out - if sales stay strong, maybe we can get an ongoing!

First off, love Sean Izaakse’s art so so so much, I adore his designs for the characters and the way he makes them move. Roy and Connor’s new looks are a little busy but I forgive him because they have such lustrous hair. (Though I still long for a Connor with a curl pattern.)

Starting with Ollie hitting on Dinah while barely conscious? A+. Also, the bit where he realizes he’s on an island again and is like “HOW DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING TO ME???” made me laugh out loud.

I’m not going to lie, on the first double page spread, I’m...not sure why Doomsday is there? Or whose arm is sticking up out of the rubble? Does anyone know?

Why on earth would Dinah call Connor “Hawke?” That line felt really weird to me. Izaakse has been calling him that on Twitter so idk if they’re trying to rebrand him that way or what. Are they making it his new codename? I guess it’s slightly less dumb than “Drake.”

Also, I love the flashback panel of Roy and Connor with their arms around each other, but I am very tired of this thing DC has been doing lately where we see the aftermath of big moments and not the big moment itself. I suppose I shouldn’t complain considering that they nailed the most important reunion in this issue, but I really would have liked to see Connor’s reunions with Roy and Dinah, especially considering that Emiko and Dinah both had basically zero reaction to learning that Roy wasn’t dead. (And in that vein, I’d like to see an actual conversation with Ollie about Connor being ace and not just a flashback panel that’s like “I told my dad, and he was great about it! This will only be addressed annually in Pride issues from now on!” Bonus points for Ollie being very supportive but not 100% getting it and getting a chance to learn.)

JASON SAID THE VAN HAD FINGERPRINTS THAT MATCHED. ROY’S LEAD CAME FROM JASON. Jason and Roy are another set of characters where we were robbed of a good, satisfyingly emotional reunion, but in the single solitary panel we were given of the two of them together, Jason did say he would find Lian, AND HE KEPT HIS PROMISE. Can we please stop discoursing about whether or not he is a good friend to Roy now?

Ollie says that Roy is the greatest marksman in the world and my heart grew three sizes. The last time this came up was 2006ish and it was contested, with the heavy implication that Roy would soon surpass Ollie. I guess he finally made it! I’M SO PROUD. (Although... Shado is the greatest marksperson in the world. I choose to believe that Ollie is using a gendered term deliberately, especially considering what he says to the Manhunter at the end of the issue. Anyway lololol get fucked Merlyn, enjoy being #4.)

“I may have taught Roy and Connor” what did you teach Connor, Ollie? Stop lying.

The flashback panel of Ollie and Dinah fighting back to back is! So! Good! Very Doc Shaner, which is always a compliment.

WHEN I TELL YOU I SCREAMED WHEN LIAN APPEARED

The first time I read this I wasn’t sure if they knew it was Lian, because obviously she’s a lot older than they would have expected. Rereading the panel where the family reacts hits different when you know: the dumbstruck look on Roy’s face! Dinah’s comforting hand on his shoulder! Connor saying “Good form” because he is a PROUD UNCLE! And his little smile on the next page as he wrangles the guy she shot HE THINKS SHE IS SO COOL.

I truly feared that they were going to let her go so Roy’s line, “You threw your first ninja star when you were two years old,” stopped my heart. And then Roy’s speech, besides being heartbreaking, is full of so many great details. I love that he has a sweet tooth and Lian doesn’t. I love the panel of them watching Point Break. I love that they remembered his missing arm in the flashback panel of him mourning Lian.

And on that note, the line “I don’t care how you’re here”...sometimes I get frustrated by DC’s refusal to try to logic their mangled continuity back together  because it feels lazy to me, but here I think it was handled really elegantly. Lian was five and dead and now she’s not; Roy was missing an arm and then he wasn’t and then he was dead and now he’s not. They don’t know why, they’ve accepted that their lives are weird, and they’ve moved on. What’s important to me is that this comic sets out very clearly what is canon and what the characters remember experiencing (short answer: everything, because Roy clearly remembers both pre-Flashpoint and the New 52), because that tells me how to understand their relationships and their choices. I don’t care how they got here either, I just want to know what they’ve lived through.

God, the way he just goes to his knees and gives her all the space in the world. Trusting that she will make the decision that’s right for her, even if it’s one that hurts him. Offering his love on her terms. It’s so perfectly Roy and exactly what Lian needs in that moment.

AND THEN THEY HUG AND I SOBBED FOR TEN MINUTES. Lol @ Izaakse signing this page like “Yeah. You’re welcome.”

AND THEN A FAMILY GROUP HUG. I appreciate the acknowledgement that Lian and Cheshire interacted in Catwoman, because I was so frustrated that nothing came of that.

“They’ll never let our family be together.” This is such a smart move! If you only have 6 (now 12!) issues to bring back Ollie AND Lian AND Connor AND Mia AND (I hope) bring Cissie into the fold for the first time, giving all of the various deaths/disappearances/continuity hiccups one unified source is a great way to fit them all into one story.

And then: DYSTOPIAN OLLIE!!! Dystopian Ollie is always a good move! Dystopian Ollie wants you to use gender neutral threats! Dystopian Ollie has a chainsaw arrow! I love Dystopian Ollie.

I stopped cutting my hair the year i finally was brave enough to cut her off.

i cannot believe i actually left the house while wearing this outfit. and to a concert no less. a fitz and the tan*trums concert at club cafe before the band was popular and Cool. my outfit here probably brought down the general Coolness factor of the concert. I knitted that blue sport weight lace hat which maybe saves it a little. i normally did not get invited to Cool things like concerts so this particular outfit is me Trying Really Hard (and failing). I still have that blue shirt.... i use it for running now.

Before all of this, they where in this world, but then Harrison completed a spell. One that made them come to life there was more to the story, but how the heck was he just going to info dump you like that? How could he?

He might scare you away, and he loves talking to you so far! Love it a strong but it truly it what he think this feeling was. a love of a friend? He wanted to get to know you more before he would say anything. Hell maybe even some how, some way bring you into his world? “Oh I don’t really celebrate my birthday-““WHAT! YOU DON’T CELEBRATE YOUR BIRTHDAY?!” Wally pulls the phone away from his face as she shouts into the phone.  

“No?” what he said was meant to be a statement, but really sounded like a question.

“I mean do what you want to do, but have you ever celebrated your birthday? Like in your life?” She asks more calmly, Wally pauses thinking back, they didn’t real do Birthdays here, no one had one. They Did Christmas, Halloween and easter! Heck even Saint Patrick’s Day. But never birthdays.

“No?” he whispers into the phone, it stayed quiet. The house was quiet, Home was asleep. So, Wally did not want to wake her up. Otherwise, he would have been sent to bed.

“Dam, Is it your religion?”

“What? Oh no! I just never have? Hehe sorry if that’s a little weird-“ “No it’s not weird! I just, well it just surprised me sorry.”

“Why are you apologising? you did nothing wrong.” Wally tries to comfort her. He honestly had no idea what he was doing though.

“I don’t know>” silence filled the call again. The air filled with so much tension you could cut it like a birthday cake. They both wanted to say something but what?  Wally wants to say something, but what? He didn’t have much he could talk about with her; I mean it was different from talking with the neighbours.

“So, your 20 and own a house?”

“Oh! Yes, it’s small but nice a house. It has a decent yard.”

“that’s nice, I’m surprised you where able to get a house in this economy!”

“well I inherited it, from a great grandma?” Wally was lying, he knew it was never good to lie. But a little white lie wouldn’t do too much harm do?

“did you know her?”

“No, not really! But I kept the house the same. Nothing really changed haha!” He says he hears the girl chuckle a little, but then a small yawn escapes her lips.

“sorry, I’m just a little tired.”

“no it’s no problem. You should probably head to bed, you got plans tomorrow?”

“mum’s making me go shopping with my baby brother, so I’m most likely Going to be warn out. But I’ll tell you if anything interesting happens?” Wally smile grew, she was the one who wanted to call again. And he was very happy she was enjoying it so much she wanted to call again, maybe a little too happy?

“sure, would you like me to call you earlier?”

“I don’t mind, thanks for the chat it was really nice.”

“Same, you’re quite the interesting person Y/n.” he loved hearing her giggle into the phone, and how she yawned again into the phone. UGH!

“Okay then, good night, Wally~” her tired voice sang.

“Night Y/n, sleep well”. When she hangs up, wally instaintly stands up and runs around happily jumping around. Getting all of his excitement out, that was until home woke up thanks to the noises he was making and caught him with the curtains.

“CREEEK!!!”

“sorry home, I just got excited! I’ll be quieter! Sorry home"

I like making up things about alien beings that canon doesn’t necessarily contradict, so her Denobulan physiology means that the number of times she’s gone hey cool bug :D and got bitten/scratched/stung means she’s become immune to many toxins

has loved Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea ever since they were little (their human mum showed it to them, probably on a computer screen to keep them entertained, but they kept wanting to watch it again and again) (could probably recite the whole script)

The name Anna was chosen as it’s fairly similar to Denobulan name sounds so easier for their family to pronounce

Regards Anna as their full name (Denobulans don't have surnames)

However being listed in files as Anna [surname, probably Baker or Bryant or something] and as both an English and Denobulan language of some sort native speaker, she gets addressed as [title/rank] [surname] more often than [title/rank] Anna, which would be correct

I couldn’t remember why I liked the idea of a Human-Denobulan mixed character so much but then I remembered the thing that inspired this is the whole sleep thing

(If you don’t know, Denobulans hibernate for a week or so once a year and do not sleep outside that. Humans sleep every 24 hours.)

This ends up meaning this character doesn’t sleep as often as a normal human, but when they do, they are Fast Asleep

So they’re awake for maybe 5 days or so, then simply collapse for a few hours and can function again

I can’t believe I forgot to include this until now, this is such an integral part of this character to me it just feels obvious

They always have their hair in a buzz cut and have done ever since they were old enough to express that their hair being too long caused them discomfort because Bad Sensory. this is 100% because at the time I was first coming up with them my hair was getting too long (it’s usually short but long enough to be curly) and itching my skin and I kept thinking mmmmmm want to cut it all off

I actually renamed her since writing this draft!! they're called Esk now (yes after the Discworld character, long story short her human mum loves Discworld)

Another interest of theirs is baking! Will elaborate on that another time as well

Whole Backstory Stuff around how she inherited this

I need to look into both Klingon family stuff and history to find out exactly how this would work but a loose timeline is

Weapon making traditionally not a women’s job (I don’t know if this is accurate to Klingon culture, it genuinely just felt like a good conflict to add)

However smol [unnamed] really wanted to learn from her uncle, so begged and nagged at him until he gave in and taught her stuff

Both verbally bothering him and just constantly being around the workshop, walking there every day, doing the cleaning jobs just to show up and show she was determined

Also necessary to this story is traditional weapon-making methods are dying out, but are preserved in something around a high- or moderately-high-status warrior having their Own Blade, rather than a copy (replicated) or a hand-me-down (unless it’s a very famous one with a great history, though still that might be presumptuous to think you’d live up to that legacy)

This has been her family’s (House’s) traditional job since anyone can remember, but only one lineage had still preserved it

Uncle is training his son to take over, but at some point when [unnamed] has been learning for a little while, this son dies in some sort of battle, leaving her as the only heir to the family’s tradition

From the little I’ve read on Memory Alpha, women couldn’t inherit a House’s title except under special circumstances, so I think she and her uncle will have to fight for her right to inherit the name and lineage

Would probably regard herself as aroace if she had the vocabulary for that, however restoring a dying craft in a remote part of a planet doesn’t leave much time for such questions

Still knows what she wants, has no intention to marry or have children, but to keep the craft being inherited she will adopt someone as a full member of her House who she believes is worthy of carrying on the tradition

This is actually a really interesting point as it shows how she regards the respect and dedication to the craft as making somebody more a part of her House than blood does

There’s a whole loosely defined thing about how she has some distant relatives who want to claim that house’s title despite having been fully prepared to let go of their house’s craftspeople’s legacy

Is actually quite short for a Klingon, maybe 5’4? and also fat and muscular, so she’s still quite a presence

Happy STS! Which of your characters do you think would be most popular among cosplayers? If you had to pick one of your OCs to cosplay, who would it be?

Oh heck yea! Thanks for the ask; I lowkey forgot that STS was a thing

So, I loooove cosplay as an art form/means of having fun! I used to do it more when I was younger, and I still dress up for cons/fan themed events. I also follow a lot of cosplay content online. I must admit that I think about the cosplay-ability of my characters a LOT. Like, every author wants a screen adaptation/a fully VA'd audiobook/whatever, but I specifically want silly creative ppl on the internet to dress up as my lads!!

That being said, I have many opinions on this front.

Taking a broad look at the Heart of Lead universe, I think it would offer a lot of different options to cosplayers. I could see the extended cast catering to people of all skill levels and interests, at least in terms of character design. You got regular-ass humans with one or two defining physical traits (although someone could always go in for more detail, because of the Victorian-fantasy clothes)! You also got characters with A.) complicated armor/uniforms/gowns, B.) wings/fangs/assorted fantastical traits, and C.) like,,, props?? Like there is a very large, somewhat evil sentient sword in this universe, and I would die happy if someone made their own for cosplay purposes. I would DIE.

All that in mind, here are the characters I think would be the most popular to cosplay, based on my observations of present-day cosplay communities online. I've given all them "most ___" awards, for funsies.

Dale Porter – most popular. No contest whatsoever. Sarcastic, evil, conventionally attractive white man. People love to cosplay characters with this profile; it's inescapable, and somewhat obnoxious. He's also fairly easy to cosplay, I would argue, as long as u got a white wig. (I would not personally cosplay him. He is my pookie but he can go ROT.)

Rosalind Lake – most sexy. If you want to wear an ostentatious dress and look hot in a femme way, here ya go. She's not the most important character, but her look is distinctive and fun. (I would definitely cosplay Rosalind.)

Wren Dorian – most steampunk. Listen, if you love steampunk/gaslamp fantasy/cabaret rock aesthetics, she is your GIRL. Big curly hair, big boots, massive belt full of tools, potentially goggles if you're feeling really fancy. Wren also gets some interesting design variations throughout the series that make her even cooler. (I would cosplay Wren. I have closet-cosplayed her before.)

Nicolas – most edgy. At least, that's how I think people would cosplay him. He wears a black trench coat and fingerless gloves for like half of the series; he has emo boy hair; he lowkey looks like Dream of the Endless. I'm not going to spoil his magical abilities, which make him EVEN EDGIER, but those exist, and they also impact his physical appearance. He's a sweetie boy baby who cries a whole lot, but he LOOKS very cool to one's inner 13-year-old. (I would cosplay Nicolas, and I have closet-cosplayed him before!)

Vesper – most fantasy. They're a faerie. He has wings. Their magic turns their eyes and fingers black. He wears sickass gender-nonconforming outfits, including such articles as capes and tiaras. If I was actually going to pour tens of hours into creating a cosplay from the HoL universe, I would 100% cosplay Vesper. They look cool as hell. (Also, fun personality – he's very outgoing and sweet!)

I'll leave it there for now, but I genuinely have SO many more opinions about HoL cosplay potentiality. There are options for the ppl who only cosplay evil dilfs,,,, for ppl who like to play princess dress-up,,,,, for ppl who incorporate gore and horror elements into their cosplays,,,,, we've got it all!!

(Now to get about FINISHING and PUBLISHING these books, so ppl can feasibly do this. Lmao.)

Car accident  - some form of on-road collision between the two muses ((LOL Hisoka can't drive, who let him behind a wheel???)

The air outside of the rastaurant was cold, icy even, and washed into Senritsus face like a splash of fresh springwater. It washed away the headache the noises from back in the restaurant had hammered ( like the silverware clanking on plates); hammered (like the hasty footsteps of all the waiters and the kitchenstaff); hammered( like the much too loud voices of much too many people pushed together in one room); into her skull. It was an early evening. The streets were bathed in the reddish light of dawn and the sidewalks were pouring over from an ocean of people. "Well, than I will see you in December, Miss Döne.", the head of the artmuseum sounded as if he had just won in the lottery, which in some way he had. The 100-year old violine she was hired to restaurate at the start of the winter would lure in a lot of more visitors like the pied pipers song had lured in mice. Senritsu smiled at her client politely and wished him a good evening, told him that she looked forward to work on the violine and promised that she can´t wait to start her work. She did not told him that she was happy to be outside of the restaurant, she did not told him that she could not wait for him to leave because every other sound made her head hurt even more, she did not told him that all she wanted after a whole evening in a restaurant was to stuff her ears with wax, lay down and gasp for air as if she had been drowning in the noise. Instead she only said her goodbye kindly, and made her way over the restaurants parking area to have a few more breaths of this cool, fresh air. Still, hearing the little happy hop in her clients walk as he went down the street to disappear in the crowd made the woman smile. It was a tiered smile, but it was there. The musician breathed deeply as she loosened the broad velvethairband she had used cover her balding head and fix her hair into a braid; she breathed deeply as she hobbled around on one leg each to pull off her high-heeled shoes, clip their clasps together and throw the shoes over her shoulder to walk on socks; and she breathed deeply when she heard the car. The car that drove much to fast over the parking area. The car that was not curbing or slowing down.

In the blink of an eye the woman had sprinted back over the whole lenght of the parking area. But the car did still not slow down. Pain stitched into her feet when the concrete bored through her nylon-tights into her soles. But the car did still not slow down.

Her shoes flew over the parking lot, long forgotten, not even noticed.But the car did still not slow down.

There was the wall of the restaurant in her back, the cars lights in her eyes and-

-the cars brakes hit with such a shrill sound Senritsu felt as if she had turned, just for a moment, truely deaf. Standing with her back pressed against the wall and only a handwide between her chest and the cars bumper, Senritsu,gasping panicky for air, decided for herself that she really had breathed enough of that fresh, cool air for the day. And the whole night. And also the next day. From one second to another the noises of the city around her returned and the migraine Senritsu had hoped was gone returned in full strenght. And along those noises she heard the drivers uncomfortable familiar heartmelody. A few seconds passed in which Senritsu was standing still against the wall, eyes as round as plates and only slowly noticing that in her sprint over the parking area she had ripped her nylon tights and her bare toes turned very cold against the icyness of the concrete. "I could almost think-", the Music-Hunter said slowly and tilted her head to the side like a confused bird as she tried to fit the mental image of Hisoka to the man in the suit she saw in the driverseat : "-you wanted to drive me over." Listening, listening, listening attentive, like an animal ready to jump away at any little glimpse of danger, Senritsu slowly moved along the wall and around the car. Yet as soon as she reached the drivers door her before hectic voice had turned into the usual soft humm. The Music-Hunter leaned her shoulder against the carside in a long, relieved huff that sounded as melodic as a song: "What did I do to deserve this target-oriented parkingstyle, mhmmmmmmmm?" Honestly one of my favorite things about botw is how the typical roles and attributes for Zelda and Link are swapped, she’s the one associated with the color green, at least much more than he is. She can hear the voice of the sword and he can hear Hylia, he’s the one shown to automatically know his duty and be born with a perfect hold on his ‘powers’ and destiny. She’s the hero that held off the calamity and he’s the one lying sleeping in a tomb like a Disney princess, waiting to be woken up by the voice of someone who is heavily implied to romantically love him. She’s the one who learns to control her anger and pride while Link stoically bears his burden with a stoney expression. She’s the one motivated by unflinching dedication and even though her bloodline is supposed to communicate with the dead, the only person we ever see do so is Link. I mean even in TotK his hair is longer than hers!

I adore how fucking tiny Link is in botw. He’s smaller than every character who isn’t a literal five year old by a considerable margin. Like it baffles me when he’s depicted as not a full foot smaller than any normal sized npc. As close as we can compare him to is a few teenage girl npcs. He’s also an absolute menace. He climbs walls like a lizard and takes out legions of monsters no sweat but he’s still so short. I love him so tiny and we should talk about it more.

No one should be surprised that Link is widely headcanoned as trans or nonbinary I mean his name is Link, that’s the kind of name an enby would give themselves like ‘sock’ or ‘dishwasher’

There’s something so devastating about botw’s world from a lore standpoint. There are exciting famous places from earlier games but they’re all in ruins. There are the skeletons of creatures who were once known to be deities and whispers of so many names that we’ve heard before but mean nothing to the people of this world. Gods like the wind fish and Levias (and technically the fierce deity) and even the might of the master sword are all long dead or incredibly weak versions of what they once were.

This world is so unbelievably old. But there are still stories and pieces of the history of Hyrule that live on even after the apocalypse. And I think that’s pretty cool.
