Have you ever thought about an alien researcher, one who was assigned to document the human race? They find that adults and children act very separately, but you seem to be an adult, but your behavior says otherwise. They decide to abduct you, for "research".

'Why are you so strange for your kind? What makes you different?' Legitimate questions going through their mind as they observe you eagerly browsing the toy section of a store. You're... quite childlike, although alien is sure you're in adulthood for humans. It's a bit cute they have to admit, watching you hug a plushie to your just chest with the brightest smile on your face. Hmm...

They follow you home. They're a scientist after all! Their job is to investigate and that's exactly what they shall do, it's purely for research purposes.

Watching you regress is fascinating... they don't think it's a species wide behavior, but maybe something certain individuals do. For what reason though? They simply have to take you up to their ship to get to the bottom of it! (It's not like they want to take care of you, definitely not!)

They feel so bad when you're scared and crying- they didn't mean to make you frightened! Horrible at soothing you because they don't even engage with young of their own species often let alone a human that acts like a child at times- please stop!

Once you've settled down (exhausted yourself) they're picking you up and awkwardly rubbing your back. It's ok, they just need to borrow you for a bit and then you'll be returned home! It's like an um.. adventure! And they'll be so thankful for you helping them, you want to be a good kid, right?

(Alien spinning some sob story about desperately needing something to report.. pulling on your heartstrings and only feeling a little guilty for manipulating you, it wasn't a complete lie!)

When you're finally asleep they're looking up any resource on human young they can find- searching through articles and even parenting books. Determined to be good at looking after you even if they fumble and make mistakes. (Alien calling back to base to ask for advice.. why are they asking? No reason. They're just curious, commander..)

Bringing you toys from their home planet that you can play with as a "test" but really they just think it's adorable! Trying to quiet the pur in their chest as they observe you, tablet out for note-taking, which is actually them taking photos of you to look at later..

he's around 3-4 feet tall? i added some of my own details but i HEAVILY studied his ingame model to make him! entirely out of cardboard, foam, hot glue, autism, and paint! he's put together with elastic and glue so his arm and hand move and with his torso being foam i can maneuver him to lean and bend. originally his head could also come off because funny ha ha but i had to scrap the idea since his head just kept, falling off

Even as someone who's not like Deep In the Trenches it pisses me off so much how many posts I've seen boiling down Rogue's issues to "wanting sex" or talking about how "she can touch people through clothes" so she should just Get Over It (usually to the effect of "so she can get with Remy".)

In terms of X-Men representing minorities its always been blatantly obvious to me that Rogue's mutation is (or can be easily interpreted as) an invisible disability. She Cannot Touch People. And to this extent, it's perfectly normal for disabled people to mourn the things they can't have or do because of their disability? Especially when there's a degree of trauma there? Yes there's workarounds, but that doesn't change the fact that she cannot do something that most people take for granted. Rogue has clearly been in a state of severe grief about this, which is what makes the narrative so compelling.

She wants to be with Remy, clearly. But she's so consumed by her feelings about her mutation that she can't see that they can be together. Her attraction to Magneto is, by her own admission (as she seems to have gotten over her infatuation with him based on his ideals before joining the X-Men), the fact that his powers cancel out hers. It takes her healing past her grief, after sharing a dance with Magneto, to realize that she cares more about Gambit than her ability to touch someone's skin.

There are plenty of actual criticisms you could have about this and Rogue's character; in this vein, it's easy to criticize how complaining about her disability frequently is one of Rogue's main character traits - but "there are other ways she can have sex so she should get over it :/" is like. The most bizarre and Nothing criticism ever

Can you draw humanstuck italian vriska, with an eyepatch, and the corresponding shoulder amputated, but *without* a prosthetic? Most upper limb amputees dont end up using a prosthetic daily, so it would be nice to see her without one.

It's too good to be true. Declan glares at the brownie like it's a ticking bomb. Is it a trick? A test? Poisoned?!

But his mouth waters when the intoxicating aroma hits his flaring nostrils. Rich, warm chocolate and sweet caramel. Flakes of sea salt scattered on top. His taste buds tingle, his eyes are saucer wide. It's been forever and a day since he's had sugar dance on his tongue. He's dreamt of sweet treats for nearly a decade. Even plain and simple vanilla ice cream would hit the spot.

Cautiously, he reaches out a trembling hand and picks up the brownie. A wave of uncertainty crashes over him and he hesitates.

The vampire could be watching, like he always is, waiting eagerly for him to slip up and take what's not his. Or maybe, August wants him to scoff down the treat - god knows whats in it - probably full of sedatives...

But the temptation is too strong, and Declan is too desperate. It smells like heaven and looks like every answered prayer. With a deep breath, he takes the smallest bite. The gooey caramel spills onto his tongue, followed by the rich, dark chocolate. It was pure bliss. He savours each and every bite, how it tastes like sweet nostalgia. It reminds him of the life he once knew, filled with simple pleasures. It reminds him of Sunday baking when he was little. Maybe one day, he'll be able to have one of mom's brownies again instead.

Relief floods in when he realises that nothing is going to happen. It's just a brownie. No tricks, only a treat. It's real. It's delicious. And it's all his.
