Months after finalizing a divorce and settling child support with her husband, a 36-year-old Idaho high school teacher was busted for allegedly having sex with a teen boy after police found him at the wheel of her car when she was "too drunk to drive."
Jessica Lawson now faces two felony counts of rape of a 16- or 17-year-old victim, another felony charge for delivering a controlled substance and a misdemeanor for dispensing alcohol to a minor, per Fremont County Magistrate Court records.
An officer from the St. Anthony Police Department pulled Lawson's car over for driving with no visible taillights in the wee hours of Nov. 6, according to the East Idaho News.
But Lawson was not in the car, police said. Instead, a teen boy was behind the wheel, and told the officer that the older woman let him drive "due to her being too drunk to drive," according to court documents reviewed by the news outlet before they were sealed by the court.
The teen, who also said he smoked marijuana before driving the car, was allegedly driven home by the police officer.
Later that day, the boy's parents called the officer back to inform him their son allegedly confessed that Lawson had picked him up around 11 p.m. the night before and taken him to her St. Anthony home, according to court documents.
The boy told his parents that the teacher got drunk and high before they eventually had sex.
Before the parents called the officer, Lawson allegedly called the boy's mother and admitted that she had given her son alcohol. She also admitted that there was marijuana in her house while he was there, but claimed that the boy didn't smoke and denied that "anything else had occurred."
A warrant was issued for Lawson's arrest on Nov. 13, per court documents reviewed by Fox News Digital, and a no-contact order was issued on the victim's behalf.
It is unclear whether the teacher, who taught at South Fremont High School between August 2021 and June 2023, ever taught the boy before the incident.
Fox News Digital could not reach the school for comment — it is unclear why her employment there ended.
According to Fremont County Magistrate Court filings reviewed by Fox News Digital, Lawson's divorce from her husband and child custody agreement for their multiple minor children were finalized in May. Lawson apparently retained her ex-husband's surname.
In February of this year, about a month after divorce proceedings began, Lawson posted a passage from a book about "occasions where placing an out-of-order sign across your heart seemed the wisest decision to make" but "you didn't."
"Instead you kept your heart open, invited people in," the passage read. "And even when they were reckless, messy, and selfish, you chose to remain open… I am in awe of you: an open prairie among an ever-changing cycle of wind."
Lawson is currently incarcerated at the Madison County Jail on a $250,000 bond. The former teacher could face life behind bars if she is convicted on all counts.
The former teacher's attorney, Allen Harry Browning, told Fox News Digital the prescribed bail amount was "excessive," and that a bond reduction hearing was imminent.
"I haven't seen bond that high on anyone but either a murder suspect or an international drug cartel person — $250,000 is something you don't see unless somebody's potentially a danger to the community and this person doesn't pose a danger to anybody," Browning said Thursday. "I've been doing this for 42 years now, and I've never seen a bond this high for a man or woman in a similar case." "You don't get a bond that high for a violent rape at knifepoint," Browning added.
Lawson, he said, intends to plead not guilty. Her preliminary court hearing is scheduled for Nov. 27, according to online records.

Listen, a Tenten and Sasuke friendship would be ABSOLUTE CHAOS in both canon and a non-massacre AU, and I cannot believe I never considered this before.
first of all, these two would be the friends that roast each other 25/8 and other people are like "are you sure you two are friends?" and they are, and they care abt each other, but they can absolutely OWN the other person at a moment's notice and will do so without hesitation.
Tenten: *talking about how smart Neji is*
Sasuke: Ah, so he balances you out.
Tenten: *offended* you’re dating Sakura, aren’t you? Pot calling kettle black here.
Tenten: A dumb bitch calling another dumb bitch a dumb bitch.
Sasuke: You’re the only dumb bitch here.
Sasuke and Tenten: *overlapping shouting of how stupid the other is which eventually results in a fistfight*
Neji, standing nearby: why do we like them again?
Sakura, next to Neji: You know, I have no clue. Maybe we’re the dumb bitches here.
second, Tenten and Sasuke do illegal shit together all the time. Like , after the war, after Sasuke gets released, they just casually steal top-secret government documents if they wanna know smth and get chased across the village by ANBU. On occasion, they commit recreational arson to training grounds (and once, the main Hyuuga compound, after getting Hinata and Hanabi out, of course). They've been put in jail multiple times and bailed out by Kakashi and Gai (their dads) because Kakashi is Hokage and assures the ANBU that this won’t happen again, but everyone knows that it will.
Post-war, Neji and Sakura drink tea together and complain about their significant other’s illegal activities. Sakura ends up having to treat their inevitable injuries and rants at a very pouty Sasuke about doing dumb shit while Neji (now the head of the Hyuuga clan) scolds his fiancee for being irresponsible, but they both know she’s just gonna go back out and blow up more shit.
Also, pre-Sasuke Retrieval, if they had been friends, Sasuke would appreciate that she was the only girl in the Konoha 12 that didn’t act like a fangirl. (that’s not to say that Tenten wasn’t attracted to him at first, but she was really lowkey about it, and after finding out he was a bit of a pissy bitch, she kinda lost that attraction all together.)
They would train together and Tenten would help Sasuke train to be better with his weapons and help improve his taijutsu, and Sasuke would help Tenten with some elemental ninjutsu and maybe even get her some really good quality weapons because the Uchiha had their weapons custom-made from some really good blacksmith. He can also help her learn to break genjutsu more effectively, which would be a good idea for Tenten to know.
In a non-massacre AU, former street rat Tenten teaches privileged clan kid Sasuke to break the law, to the collective horror of the Uchiha Police Force, who chase them around the village on a daily basis for doing illegal shit.
anyway a Tenten Sasuke friendship would be too powerful and that’s why Kishimoto didn’t do it.

A Fitting Finale: Bringing Ian Full-Circle
Is everyone sick of my essays yet? Excellent. Here’s another anyway!
I’ve been trying to put my finger on what it is about Ian’s story in s11 that I love so much. It’s clear that he’s struggling on a number of levels, and he’s certainly spent the first third of the season under so much stress that it’s impacted his moods and marriage. In 11x04, we began to see hints of the tension breaking, and it made me realize that there’s a common trend in Ian’s behavior throughout the series coming to a head in his final act. It’s part of what has him so passionately advocating for Mickey to get a legal job, communicating their need to hammer out the specifics of what their marriage means, and upset at his own employment status.
From start to finish, Ian has been driven by two important motivators: love and fear.
Ian’s deep sense of love and compassion for others is well documented. We know that he will do anything for his family. I’ve mentioned before that Ian is at his best when he’s with them and his worst when he’s not. They’re his support system, and he’s a key part of theirs. They look after each other and rely on one another when the chips are down. They’re all grown up now, Liam being the exception, but those bonds are strong. They’ve matured and branched out to include Mickey, Tami, Franny, and Freddie. Ian’s heart belongs to his family, and he’s given as much of himself as he can to the people he’s been with over the years in whatever capacity they’ve needed him to.
Ian has also always been a fearful character, though not in the manner we typically visualize. He’s strong and motivated, ambitious and sensible, clever and insightful. When he decides that he wants something, he goes for it, from a South Side thug hovering in his orbit to pursuing the highest military accolades despite his small beginnings. Over and over again, we’ve seen him leap into serious and often strange situations in order to achieve his ends or something for the people he cares about. This man stole a water heater from a dead person’s house with his brother and tried to help his best friend hide a body. Certainly, he doesn’t fit the traditional stereotype. He’s not a coward.
But Ian is terrified—of everything:
· Not amounting to anything
· Not being worthy of love
· Being the center of attention
· Fading into the background and being forgotten
· Not being able to help other people or those he loves
· Not having a path
· Not being in control of himself
· Not being enough
He’s never said it. He’s never discussed these issues, except perhaps not having control. That isn’t who he is. That’s never been his way. Maybe we should add fear of communicating too, or fear of being seen as weak.
In s1, Ian makes a lot of brave choices. He comes out to three people, two of them family members, knowing how that is viewed in their neighborhood. When Mickey is after him, Ian takes the battle to his doorstep. He turns his back on an arguably easier life in a nice, middle-class neighborhood and a home with a father who would provide for him to live in the constant struggle to which he has grown accustomed. On the surface, he’s one put together kid. But then there’s Kash. There’s this man who preys on him, a middle child so responsible (and so male) that no one thinks he’d fall into any sort of trap—and Ian is desperate to keep him. He fights Lip over it and so painfully tries to make him understand his perspective, that he’s spending money he should probably be using for things he needs to buy Kash music and baseball tickets, to make him like what Ian does so that they can build their so-called relationship. That Kash is married with kids is unimportant to him; that he’s exploiting Ian’s fear of loneliness and not finding love outside his siblings, unthinkable. We know it. Lip sees it, powerless as he feels to do anything about it. Ian can’t. To date, he never will. He’s blinded by a culture that doesn’t believe such things can happen to males, and until Mickey comes along as a viable outlet for his affections and source of the ones he needs, he’s too afraid to be cautious.
Throughout s2 and s3, Ian makes difficult decisions. They’re not always smart, but it takes great strength to commit to the choices he makes: allowing Monica into his life, voicing even an ounce of his feelings to Mickey, pursuing West Point, and running away. All of them, however, are driven by love and fear alike. He’s vulnerable and needs his mother, the one who slaps Frank for shoving him and listens when he feels alone. She assuages his fears by telling him what he needs to hear: that he can do and be anything. We know there’s a danger in that, especially when she takes him to enlist when he’s nowhere near old enough, but it’s still validating for him. It feeds that need for attention but not too much attention, for understanding but not coddling, for love that originates from someone who isn’t his siblings. We see similar trends emerge: fear of losing Mickey on multiple occasions, fear that he’ll forever be in Lip’s shadow when he receives a letter of recommendation instead of Ian, and fear of never having Mickey’s full affections spiraling into fear of facing his own emotions in the aftermath of the wedding. We’ve seen that Ian runs from what he can’t process. He runs from what he can’t handle. He runs when he’s scared, especially of himself.
It continues repeatedly throughout the series. In s4, Ian is afraid of going backwards and once again losing his position in Mickey’s life. In s5, he’s afraid of being a burden on everyone around him, changing them, and losing control of his own mind. In s6, he’s afraid that this is it: his path and his goals have come to nothing, and he’s doomed to fall into the shadows where no one will ever see or love him. In s7, that fear of himself re-emerges when a patient is hurt on his watch and he has to come to terms with the fact that being better doesn’t mean he’s “cured.” In s8, he’s afraid of the void where Monica and Mickey used to be, and it sends him spiraling into a deeper one he doesn’t fear until it’s too late. In s9, he fears a lack of guidance, an indecisiveness born of having been able to rely on his hallucinations to tell him what to do. His path is gone, and he has no options. And that’s terrifying. Then Mickey is there, and he can put some of his fears to rest until they resurge with the idea of marriage in s10. All of a sudden, he’s back where he was in s5, fearing himself but also what he’ll do to someone he loves.
In s11, we’re seeing an Ian far more like he was in earlier seasons: rigidly devoted to having a plan, knowing what’s coming next, and ticking off certain boxes on the list of things you’re “supposed to do” as a married adult male. He’s spent a lot of this season seeking value in his employment and position in their marriage, and the stress has been dragging him down—quickly.
And it’s no wonder: he has every reason to be scared right now.
The thing about prison is that it is what’s known as a total institution. It is removed from society and, as such, operates under its own social beliefs, values, and norms. Like the military, another total institution, prison involves an initial period of sloughing off roles and identities from the greater society and subsequently being resocialized into a new role set. Upon release, a person undergoes the same process in reverse, and there’s an adjustment period to reintegrate into normal society. We can see that process begin when Ian gets in the car with Lip and shudders a bit, unsettled at the prospect of being outside these walls for the first time in months—going home far earlier than anticipated. For many people, it’s a difficult transformation, especially once they realize the full extent of how your life changes as an ex-convict in the U.S.
Ian doesn’t really get to adjust. From s8 to the start of s11, he undergoes a whirlwind of emotion and change. He literally loses touch with reality, starts a cult, commits a felony, is on the run from law enforcement, allows himself to be captured with one final display, goes to jail, remains unmedicated until he’s bailed out, panics at what his movement became, feels alone in the house as everyone deals with their own business and leaves him to his own devices, seeks guidance from above only to realize it wasn’t what he thought it was, can’t find answers, has warring factions telling him how to plead in court, ostensibly takes a plea deal that requires some amount of time behind bars, goes to prison, finds the love of his life there waiting for him, has to let his sister go, is released without Mickey, gets repeatedly screwed over by a corrupt PO, gets engaged, breaks up (sort of), gets engaged again, sees his wedding venue burned down, gets married, and hurtles straight into a pandemic. That’s… That’s a lot. Being a newlywed in a pandemic is a lot without all the rest of it, but this is what Ian is dealing with going into s11, and he hasn’t had the benefit of a stable readjustment and reintegration period.
He’s drowning.
He’s scared.
He has every reason to be. Marriage is scary, especially if you are so young and so in love with the person you’re marrying. Employment is scary, especially for them, because it could mean the difference between paying the utilities and running out of water. Change in general is scary, especially when it hasn’t done you any favors before.
Add all that to what Ian’s behavior has indicated that he’s been afraid of since the start, and you have a recipe for disaster.
To a great extent, that’s what I think his arc is all about this season: learning how to live again. It’s about not being so afraid of himself that he desperately grasps for any stereotypical structure for married life that he can. It’s about regaining the confidence that has always left him clawing his way to the top instead of letting life beat him down. It’s about finding the happy medium where he and Mickey aren’t doing anything illegal but aren’t stuck in a valueless spiral, scrambling and struggling to pay the bills like when they were kids.
It’s about learning not to be so afraid anymore, and I think that’s a beautiful goodbye for a beautiful character.

*rubs hands together* I was hoping someone would ask me that
This is gonna be a long one folks.
General:
Rate the Ship -
Awful | Ew | No pics pls | I’m not comfortable | Alright | I like it! | Got Pics? | Let’s do it! | Why is this not getting more attention?! | The OTP to rule all other OTPs
How long will they last? - Life long partners, babey.
How quickly did/will they fall in love? - I think they had crushes on each other for a while. They didn't officially say "I love you" till a few months into their relationship, but they thought it sooner.
How was their first kiss? - I wrote a lesbian Lexthan version of their first kiss, though I don't think canon Lexthan's first kiss was like that. I imagine it to be not really planned out; just like they're talking to each other in the car and lock eyes, then slowly lean in and kiss. Since they've had kisses before, it's not a catastrophe, and it's actually fairly soft.
Wedding:
Who proposed? - Ethan. Wrote a whole ass fic about it.
Who is the best man/men? - I know who the best man is in my fics (it's my man Marsh, for those who have read it), but idk about the canon Ethan's best man. Maybe Danny (the Smoke Club Boy) but I'm not sure if they'd be friends enough to be his best man. He might not have one.
Who is the bride's maid? - Hannah. Duh.
Who did the most planning? - Ethan, but Lex chipped in too. Tom might help as well if asked lol
Who stressed the most? - Ethan. Though their ceremony isn't big, he still wanted it to be a good memory down the road (it was)
How fancy was the ceremony? -
Back of a pickup truck | 2 | 3 | 4 | Normal Church Wedding | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Kate and William wish they were this big.
First they had just a courthouse wedding where they signed the papers, then had a tiny wedding ceremony with only close friends. Even if they could afford a proper wedding (Canon Lexthan prolly couldn't afford it) I don't think they'd want a big affair anyways. It's be exhausting.
Who was specifically not invited to the wedding? - Lex's mom. Obviously.
Sex:
Now we're getting to the good part lads
Who is on top? - Ethan is a fucking switch. You can't convince me otherwise. He tops maybe like... 60/40 or 65/35. But when Lex tops, she tops bitch.
Who is the one to instigate things? - Ethan likes instigating things since he's a horny teenage boy, but it Lex doesn't want to, he stops. Sometimes Lex instigates, but usually when she does she's in the mood to top.
How healthy is their sex life? -
Barely touch themselves let alone each other | 2 | 3 | 4 | Once a couple weeks, nothing overboard | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | They are humping each other on the couch right now
I'd give it a 7.5, depending on the situation. While they try to tone it down around Hannah, when they have alone time they'd totally go for it. Ethan's glovebox in his car has a box of condoms in it at all times. What can I say, as I said before, they're horny teenagers
How kinky are they? -
Straight missionary with the lights off | 2 | 3 | 4 | Might try some butt stuff and toys | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Don’t go into the sex dungeon without a horse’s head
They don't like seeing each other hurt so they wouldn't like BDSM. They're not vanilla but nothing too crazy- blindfolding, light bondage (aka tying hands up with rope or cloth), scratching, light spanking, pegging
How long do they usually last? - It depends on how much time they have to have sex. They've done quickies in bathrooms or whatever before, but if they have all night then they're pretty good at prolonging it.
Do they make sure each person gets an equal amount of orgasms? - Absolutely. It is said in multiple fics (I think?) of mine that Ethan makes sure Lex has the same amount of orgasms as he does. Always.
How rough are they in bed? -
Softer than a butterfly on the back of a bunny | 2 | 3 | 4 | The bed’s shaking and squeaking every time | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Their dirty talk is so vulgar it’d make Dwayne Johnson blush. Also, the wall’s so weak it could collapse the next time they do it.
They certainly can have slow, soft, romantic sex, but Ethan is also 100% capable of rocking Lex's world so hard she can't walk right for a week. (That happens in my first fic, Cassieopia, albeit off screen)
How much cuddling/snuggling do they do? -
No touching after sex | 2 | 3 | 4 | A little spooning at night, or on the couch, but not in public | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | They snuggle and kiss more often than a teen couple on their fifth date to a pillow factory.
1) I fucking love that metaphor 2) They don't get much physical affection at home, so they fucking love snuggling and cuddling- whether it be after sex or just hanging out. Sometimes they cuddle as a form of stress relief after a shitty day.
Children:
How many children will they have naturally? - 2, maybe 3.
How many children will they adopt? - I think they might prefer to have children naturally, but in my California series they gain custody of Hannah when she's 12. Does that count?
Who gets stuck with the most diapers? - Lex forces Ethan to learn how to change diapers. That being said, Lex isn't half bad at changing them either, since she helped change Hannah's when she was a child.
Who is the stricter parent? - They're not exactly strict parents, but both Lex and Ethan can definitely scold the kid. ("hAnNaH! tHaT bEtTeR bE fUcKiNg fLoSs!!!!!") That being said, both take care to not be abusive to their child, especially Lex. She doesn't want to be like her mom, so she tries to keep her temper in check.
Who stops the kid(s) from doing dangerous stunts after school? - Ethan has good reflexes, and has stopped his kids from falling and hitting their chin on a playground structure more than once. (Fun fact! That happened to me when I was 3. I fell from a steel elephant shaped jungle gym at a German zoo, hit my chin on a steel bar, and bit through my lower lip/knocked 3 teeth out. I still have the scar years later lol)
Who remembers to pack their lunches? - Lex. Though the lunches aren't always the healthiest.
Who is the more loved parent? - I think they're both loved, but maaaaaybe Ethan a bit more.
Who is more likely to attend the PTA meetings? - Neither would attend PTA meetings out of the goodness of their hearts. If Lex or Ethan would go to a PTA meeting, it'd most likely be because they wanted to yell at a teacher or principal. They might go seperately or together depending on the severity of the issue.
Who cried the most at graduation? - Ethan wouldn't admit he cried, but he did. So did Lex.
Who is more likely to bail the child(ren) out of trouble with the law? - Oh bitch, Lex and Ethan both said fuck the law. If it was just like, an overnight jail cell for some stupid misdemeanor, they might try to break their kid out. Otherwise, Lex would probably the one paying the bail because Ethan would try to punch the cop in the face if the cop talked shit about Ethan's kid. That reaction is not exclusive to cops.
Cooking:
Who does the most cooking? - Neither of them are exactly 5 star chefs, but they can hold on their own. Lex is better at cooking breakfast and Ethan is better at cooking dinner- but if he's exhuasted from work, Lex can cook dinner for him.
Who is the most picky in their food choice? - Neither are picky. Both of them grew up young scrappy and hungry just like their country without really the chance to be picky. They had to take what they could get.
Who does the grocery shopping? - Lex. She's good at calculating totals in her head. I wrote that in an unrealeased fic.
How often do they bake desserts? - Rather rarely. Perhaps on special occasions or to bond. Ethan has ruined the kitchen with his kid trying to bake a cake for Lex at least once. Maybe more.
Are they more of a meat lover or salad lover? - Meat lovers, babey. Fuck that fancy plant bullshit.
Who is more likely to surprise the other(s) with an anniversary dinner? - Ethan. I wrote that in the proposal fic.
Who is more likely to suggest going out? - Depends on what you count as "going out". Lex likes going to McDonalds, but Ethan is the one who suggests eating at actual restaurants.
Who is more likely to burn the house down accidently while cooking? - Ethan, but both have had near misses.
Chores:
Who cleans the room? - Both had fairly messy rooms as teenagers so they're not super anal about having sparkling clean rooms. That being said, when someone comes over Lex does try to tidy the place up a bit. At least enough to make it seem like they have their shit together. Ish.
Who is really against chores? - Ethan can be a bit of a lazy bones sometimes, but Lex isn't exactly a huge fan of chores either. However, she is used to doing chores since she practically raised herself and Hannah.
Who cleans up after the pets? - They take turns. Both hate it.
Who is more likely to sweep everything under the rug? - Ethan, because he doesn't want to incur Lex's wrath.
Who stresses the most when guests are coming over? - Lex. As I said above, she actually actively cleans the house beforehand. Not to the level of that freaking out mom from the comedy video who's name I can't remember tho.
Who found a dollar between the couch cushions while cleaning? - Ethan. He has a nack for finding random bits of money. Score.
Misc:
Who takes the longer showers/baths? - Lex, though both take relatively quick showers to save water.
Who takes the dog out for a walk? - They actually like doing it together. It's nice to get some fresh air, and they enjoy each other's company.
How often do they decorate the room/house for the holidays? - Ethan goes over the top, partially to annoy Lex. You know that Christmas tree Chris Pine vine? Yeah, Ethan would fucking do that.
What are their goals for the relationship? - Live a better life together than they did in Hatchetfield. White picket fence and California dreams shit.
Who is more likely to sleep till noon? - Ethan, but Lex is known to sleep till 3 in the afternoon if she's really tired.
Who plays the most pranks? - Ethan. That's literally canon.
I can babble about them all day lol
#Lexthan#Black Friday#lex foster#ethan green#I'll reblog this later with links to my fics#thank you!!#asks

a connection / plot masterlist .
oof hey babies! i’m making this post so y’all know exactly how i’m breaking down the plots i have so far. i jotted down fulfilled connections, followed by the people i know i’m still in the midst of plotting with ( labeled “tba,” will be updated once we’ve decided on a backstory ), & at the end i listed some wanted connection ideas! even if you see your character on this list, though, and you’re like miss bri.... i want to change / add to / alter / etc that paragraph u wrote... especially if u see a wanted connection and you’re like whew i kinda want that now.... puhlease lmk. i’m down for absolutely anything & everything. mwah. x
𝖋𝖚𝖑𝖋𝖎𝖑𝖑𝖊𝖉 𝖈𝖔𝖓𝖓𝖊𝖈𝖙𝖎𝖔𝖓𝖘.
parker , ride or die .
these two could be a tag team duo if they wanted to be--and practically are when it comes down to it. cohen isn’t scared to get into a fight just because parker’s already there. parker’s hotheadedness and cohen’s will to throw a punch have been melding since the earliest of days, when parker was getting into abrupt locker room fights with their own teammates, even. cohen, being the type who can’t avoid starting shit with those same teammates, never found himself pooling more blame into parker’s bucket. instead, cohen sympathizes the only way he knows how: by holding out his hand and letting parker know that cohen doesn’t need a rhyme or reason to have parker’s back. for cohen nowadays, it’s just on sight.
olivia , meeting in the middle / opposites attract .
the truth is, olivia should absolutely hate cohen, and cohen should absolutely hate olivia. she’s all warmth & sunlight and he’s all hasty reactions & tunnel vision. but for some reason, olivia has managed to penetrate his demeanor without even trying. he tries to be marginally “better” whenever he crosses her path. when they speak, he finds himself thinking things out a fraction deeper before he throws the whole idea / person / situation in the garbage like the pessimist / self-acclaimed “realist” he is. at parties, he’s the first to jump into a fight, but with olivia’s soft touch, he hesitates. he doesn’t know what it is about her, but she makes himself second guess himself ( often for the better ).
finn , chaotic neutral & neutral evil friendship .
if there’s one person cohen can stand for extended periods of time, it’s finn. finn’s chaotic neutral personality melds with cohen’s neutral evil personality seamlessly. oftentimes, finn and cohen are the duo at the party nodding at each other from across the room because a situation is escalating and cohen’s already rolling up his sleeves prepping to knock someone out for the hell of it. no matter what, finn’s a non-team member cohen’s constantly catching himself leaning on a little. he doesn’t feel like he has to watch his mouth around finn, let alone feel guilty for something like a consistently dirty car ( LXFMDFG ), which is a refreshing feeling cohen doesn’t often run into.
leo , harsh truth-tellers .
it isn’t uncommon for cohen to bump into leo, given his record for getting called off the field. coach tended to send him to the locker room with a physical therapist just to hide the fact that what cohen was actually getting called off for was excessive anger during a game. leo’s a hardass just like cohen, though, which makes speaking to her simultaneously easier and harder--since she’s bound to knock heads with him, but also give it back just the way he takes it. if there’s one thing cohen’s an expert at in their tedious relationship, though, it’s judging leo for all she’s worth. part of him loves the fact that she keeps herself so upright, after all, so when she’s simping hard and cohen feels she’s dwelling or losing track of herself just to appease people who treat her like shit, cohen’s never been afraid to let her know. this gives their relationship a rocky little twist, but cohen doesn’t shy from the truth.
summer , no strings flirtationship ( ft. mild to severe seemingly unrequited pining ) .
summer and cohen have always been oddly close in a way that cohen isn’t close with anyone else. in high school, in a dramatic effort to push summer away after too many a repeated fling, cohen invited summer to his chaotic home. however, poised as she was, she remained entirely unphased by his chaotic living situation & family. since then, cohen has felt more uncomfortably comfortable around summer than he has around anyone else. she continuously manages to seep into his life all on her own. they sleep together casually on occasion, often fight “playfully” in an effort to egg each other on, and tend to open up to each other entirely unprecedently.
clara , ex-girlfriend circa cohen’s sophomore year of college ( two years ago ) & family friends .
cohen and clara have been linked via their love for each other’s sibling since high school. clara was always best friends with his sister natalie, and he was always best friends with her brother cam. although clara was a consistent aspect in cohen’s life, they never got together until clara’s senior year of high school, which was subsequently cohen’s sophomore year of college. cohen was convinced he’d make it with her ( which is a rarity in & of itself ) much longer than they actually ended up making it, since cam died a year into their official relationship, sending both cohen and clara spiralling in entirely separate directions.

childhood best friends and/or cousins : someone cohen knows very deeply, and vice versa. maybe they lived in the same trailer park, maybe your muse’s rich family is related or connected, somehow to his poor cowboy redneck family ( maybe his construction worker dad was drunk on the job and now ur muse’s family thinks of his alcoholic messy parents as nuisances? maybe his parents think ur muse’s parents are too posh and hate their guts? ), maybe their families don’t get along.... maybe their families DO get along and ur muse is someone his parents ask after and talk about constantly! the possibilities are endless. regardless, though, this muse and cohen grew up playing together, smoking cigarettes ( or ur muse watching 12 y/o cohen smoke a cig MVLKFDG ), pretending to be grown because cohen FELT like he was grown by the time he could speak clear sentences, etc. cohen’s family’s a mess but they’re a family all the same. they may fight and drink constantly, but at the end of the day you can find them outside their trailers sitting in camping chairs drinking budweiser around a campfire and making fun of each other.
unrequited / secret / forbidden crush : maybe your muse secretly liked cohen and never said anything, maybe cohen secretly liked your muse and never said anything, etc. bonus points if your muse’s family knows cohen has a whole ass petty criminal record a la ryan from the o.c. and would absolutely throw a fit if they saw their kid even looking in cohen jetson’s general vicinity for too long. LKMDFK how they each deal with their crush today is totally up to us.
bail out : someone who vouches for cohen even when he’s getting into the worst kind of trouble. maybe they’ve caught him coming down from a high ( he used to take athletic stimulants for energy & performance, and is currently eight months into his most recent recovery / rehab attempt ) and have kept the fact that they saw him using on the dl in an effort to give him a chance to be better without getting kicked off the team. maybe they’ve given him a ride home from jail after getting picked up for fighting or public drunkenness and his parents weren’t picking up bc why would cohen’s parents ever.... LMDSFLKFG. maybe cohen bails ur muse out too and secretly helps them even when they should be left to suffer in the SAME way that cohen should be left to suffer. but they’re too close. it’s almost like they coddle each other. maybe it’s due to some romantic subplot or something like a sibling inkling. OOF maybe they’re exes. kill me now u know?
sponsor - esque relationship : basically someone who can cool cohen down when he’s craving a high, craving alcohol, when he’s getting irritable because he’s not performing well enough, when he’s going workout-crazy and needs someone to be like bitch.... can u sit down for like five seconds? LDMDFLKGKFG someone who doesn’t care when cohen cusses them out for no reason because they’ve got a tough shell and know he’s just getting irritable w them because he’s having a moment. someone patient w him. someone he has probably cried to before because he’s...... tired.
party friend : self-explanatory! maybe they’re infamous for ditching parties and heading straight to bars together. LDFMKD absolutely iconic of them. they’ve probably at least made out upwards of ten times because that’s.... cohen. SKDFJ unless ur a straight male, in which case, he politely flirts with u and that’s it. x basically this muse has seen him get into unwarranted bar fights just because he’s a bitch who will ALWAYS throw the first punch, this muse has walked home with him when they’re both way too drunk to drive, this muse probably goes back to cohen’s apartment PLASTERED with him after midnight and stays up to cook a meal and play a game of uno with him, etc, etc. we love nothin’ but warm-hearted fun in this house.
exes on bad terms / hateship / enemies that detest each other : oof someone cohen has screwed over multiple times? more likely than u think. which is very likely. LKDSMFLKDF maybe they were exes? maybe cohen cheated on your muse? maybe cohen cheated WITH your muse and your muse didn’t find out until the break-up? maybe cohen beat your muse’s brother’s/dad’s ass and now there’s bad blood? maybe cohen broke things off with your muse before things could ever get serious? maybe cohen’s general demeanor just pisses your muse off? we’ve all been there KDNFDLKGN. basically these two hate each other and don’t even TRY to hide it anymore.

Joy/Bones and/or Claire/Joel???
MCFARROW TIME LADS!
General:
Rate the Ship - Awful | Ew | No pics pls | I’m not comfortable | Alright | I like it! | Got Pics? | Let’s do it! | Why is this not getting more attention?! | The OTP to rule all other OTPs
How long will they last? - Till the end of their lives these two are MARRIED!
How quickly did/will they fall in love? - SLOWLY! It took them three damn years to finally hook up. That kinda confirmed that they were in love with each other but then it took another half a year for Joy to stop being weird and flightly and finally fess up!
How was their first kiss? - Really...really sweet actually considering they immediately go back to Bones’ place and smash. It’s right after they’re celebrating Kirk’s birthday and the two of them finally find themselves outside by themselves and Joy is the one who tugs him down a little and gives him a tender kiss. (Bones would never initiate just because....power dynamic could be icky).
Wedding:
Who proposed? - Bones!
Who is the best man/men? - KIRK! He also has Joy’s brothers and some of the crew as his best men.
Who is the bride’s maid(s)? - Her baby sister is her maid of honor! Same with Bones she has some of the crew as her bridesmaids too.
Who did the most planning? - Joy! She was very excited.
Who stressed the most? - Joy lmao! Taking on all that planning and being an award-winning neurologist and researcher is a lot. They also have to organizing everyone being on Earth the same time for the ceremony which is an Adventure considering one of her younger brothers is also an engineer doing working for Starfleet.
How fancy was the ceremony? - Back of a pickup truck | 2 | 3 | 4 | Normal Church Wedding | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Kate and William wish they were this big.
Who was specifically not invited to the wedding? - They don’t really have any specific people they super dislike (Bones just...mildly dislikes people). He did joke about not inviting Spock and Kirk said >:|
Sex:
Who is on top? - Bones! Joy loves to be enveloped by him and let him take the reins.
Who is the one to instigate things? - Joy! Needs to go to horney jail. Bones does it on occasion but his signals are a little more subtle. Joy just stands on her toes and whispers smth nasty she wants Bones to do to her in his ear.
How healthy is their sex life? - Barely touch themselves let alone each other | 2 | 3 | 4 | Once a couple weeks, nothing overboard | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | They are humping each other on the couch right now
How kinky are they? - Straight missionary with the lights off | 2 | 3 | 4 | Might try some butt stuff and toys | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Don’t go into the sex dungeon without a horse’s head
How long do they normally last? - Pretty long actually! Bones has some stamina. Which is good because Joy has got Libido. Once they’re done, Bones is out like a light though. No multiple rounds for them lmao.
Do they make sure each person gets an equal amount of orgasms? - Yeah! Joy actually wants to give Bones multiple ones which he’s fine with but he has to tell her to give him a minute before she does it again lmao. Those nights he sleeps REALLLY well. Joy is insatiable and Bones is here to please and is pretty talented at getting Joy off. That and Joy lets him know exactly what he needs to do.
How rough are they in bed? - Softer than a butterfly on the back of a bunny | 2 | 3 | 4 | The bed’s shaking and squeaking every time | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Their dirty talk is so vulgar it’d make Dwayne Johnson blush. Also, the wall’s so weak it could collapse the next time they do it.
How much cuddling/snuggling do they do? - No touching after sex | 2 | 3 | 4 | A little spooning at night, or on the couch, but not in public | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | They snuggle and kiss more often than a teen couple on their fifth date to a pillow factory.
Children:
How many children will they have naturally? - Three!!
How many children will they adopt? - None!
Who gets stuck with the most diapers? - Bones!
Who is the stricter parent? - Bones definitely. Joy is much more understanding and lenient with the kids but Bones is a lil grumpy as a dad sometimes. It comes from a place of caring though and he has Joy to temper him. (Not that he’s super angry he just is very protective and wants them to be their best!)
Who stops the kid(s) from doing dangerous stunts after school? - Bones!
Who remembers to pack the lunch(es)? - Joy!
Who is the more loved parent? - Joy!
Who is more likely to attend the PTA meetings? - Joy!
Who cried the most at graduation? - Joy!
Who is more likely to bail the child(ren) out of trouble with the law? - Bones! Lmao. The kids don’t wanna disappoint their mom because she’ll give them the sad and disappointed look. Bones is just like....don’t ever do that again.
Cooking:
Who does the most cooking? - Bones!
Who is the most picky in their food choice? - Bones!
Who does the grocery shopping? - Joy!
How often do they bake desserts? - Lots! Joy is an excellent baker and also happens to bake when she’s stressed so lots of cookies. Bones gains like 15lbs when they start dating lmao.
Are they more of a meat lover or a salad eater? - Joy loves some salads and you know Bones loves some chicken wings or a good steak.
Who is more likely to surprise the other(s) with an anniversary dinner? - Bones!
Who is more likely to suggest going out? - Bones!
Who is more likely to burn the house down accidently while cooking? - Joy!
Chores:
Who cleans the room? - Bones!
Who is really against chores? - Joy!
Who cleans up after the pets? - Bones!
Who is more likely to sweep everything under the rug? - Joy!
Who stresses the most when guests are coming over? - Joy! She wants everything to be nice.
Who found a dollar between the couch cushions while cleaning? - Joy! Hell yeah~ She puts it in their little jar of money saved for vacations.
Misc:
Who takes the longer showers/baths? - Bones...he loves to be pampered.
Who takes the dog out for a walk? - Bones! He loves that dog so much.
How often do they decorate the room/house for the holidays? - Both of them love the holidays!
What are their goals for the relationship? - To support each other in their careers, to get married and have a family! Basically just to offer support to each other and build a life together. SOFT.
Who is most likely to sleep till noon? - Bones!
Who plays the most pranks? - Joy but she’s bad at it lmao. It usually ends with Bones kissing her, endeared, and getting her back by tickling her. (Until Joy accidentally smacks him because she’s flailing about.)
#GABBY thank u sm i love them a lot....#head empty only my doctor parents#ship: mcfarrow#queennymeria

Jeffrey Epstein's death is a perfect storm for conspiracy theories

Jeffrey Epstein’s Death Is The Perfect Storm for Conspiracy Theories
By Christopher Wilson | Published August 10, 2019 12:30 PM ET | Yahoo News | Posted August 10, 2019 4:34 PM ET |
The death Saturday morning of financier Jeffrey Epstein, an accused sex trafficker with connections to some of the most powerful people in the world, represents a perfect storm in the world of conspiracy theories.
Epstein was found unconscious in his cell in the Metropolitan Correctional Center — the federal jail in downtown Manhattan — and pronounced dead at a nearby hospital, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
The MCC is one of the most secure jails in the country, and Epstein, following an earlier suicide attempt, was being held in the Special Housing Unit, where inmates are under heightened protection, although NBC News reported he was not on suicide watch. He had been in the MCC since July 6, after FBI agents arrested him when he returned to the U.S. from France on his private jet.
Epstein’s death immediately set off speculation that he had been killed, or that someone who should have been watching him was looking the other way when it happened. With confirmed ties to political figures up to and including presidents of both parties, European royalty and headline names in business, finance and academia, Epstein was a lightning rod for conspiracy theories even before his death. Women who have accused him of forcing them into having sex when they were underage have also said he pimped them out to some of his powerful friends. His trial, more than a year away, could have proved embarrassing — or worse — to people who were part of his large social circle.
Attorney General William Barr put out a statement saying: “I was appalled to learn that Jeffrey Epstein was found dead early this morning from an apparent suicide while in federal custody. Mr. Epstein’s death raises serious questions that must be answered. In addition to the FBI’s investigation, I have consulted with the Inspector General who is opening an investigation into the circumstances of Mr. Epstein’s death.”
“If we were living in a paranoid fantasy universe, I would be very suspicious about the Epstein suicide, even about whether it was really suicide,” wrote New York Times columnist Paul Krugman. “And you know what? The Epstein case itself shows that we *are* kind of living in a paranoid fantasy universe.”
Joe Scarborough tweeted, “A guy who had information that would have destroyed rich and powerful men’s lives ends up dead in his jail cell. How predictably...Russian.”
On the fringes of the political spectrum, Ann Coulter tweeted, “I knew this would happen! I warned you, [Bureau of Prisons].”
Later she managed to wrap in a whole documentary’s worth of conspiracy theorizing in a single tweet: “This ends the only plausible Epstein theory OTHER THAN a foreign country’s pedophile/blackmail operation. (That he was laundering Robert Maxwell’s hidden loot.)”
Epstein was close friends for years with Ghislaine Maxwell, the daughter of British publishing magnate Robert Maxwell, who drowned under suspicious circumstances in 1991. At least one of Epstein’s alleged victims has said Ghislaine participated in Epstein’s recruitment of young teenage girls for sex; she has denied any involvement.
Other tweets hinted at a conspiracy by the British royal family, and the hashtag #ClintonBodyCount exploded on social media, the subject of 13,300 tweets within the first hour. Lynne Patton, a Trump appointee in the Department of Housing and Urban Development, wrote on Instagram that Epstein was “Hillary’d.”
Epstein’s waterfront mansion in Palm Beach, Fla., where the alleged sex acts occurred, is less than a mile from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club. Records show that Trump flew on Epstein’s private jet on occasion, and they had been photographed together at social events.
“I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy,” said Trump in a 2002 New York magazine profile of Epstein. “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”
Former President Bill Clinton flew on Epstein’s private plane multiple times and visited his island. Prince Andrew of Britain also has ties to the hedge fund magnate but has denied any involvement in sex trafficking.
Documents implicating other powerful figures began to be released yesterday, starting with sealed records related to a defamation lawsuit that Epstein’s self-described “sex slave” Virginia Roberts Giuffre filed against Ghislaine Maxwell. Giuffre alleges that Epstein told her to have sex with hedge fund billionaire Glenn Dubin, former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson and former Democratic Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell.
The men have all denied the allegations.
The New York Times reported last month that Epstein used his ties to Les Wexner, CEO of the L Brands corporation, which owns Victoria’s Secret, for access to both models and money. Wexner accused Epstein this week of misappropriating “vast sums of money.”
Epstein, early in his career, was a protégé of Donald Barr, the father of Attorney General Barr, who hired him to teach at New York’s prestigious Dalton School despite his lack of a college degree.
The amount and source of Epstein’s wealth, apart from his association with Wexner, has been a mystery. His Manhattan mansion has been described as having a “creepy décor,” while his private island has a gold-domed temple-like structure. When Epstein’s home was raided, investigators found a cache of videos in a safe that were described as potentially containing compromising images of third parties. The New York Times reported last month that Epstein had plans to “seed human race with his DNA” at his New Mexico ranch.
The latest round of charges were not the first faced by Epstein. He was charged by federal prosecutors in Florida in 2007 for, as the Miami Herald put it in its award-winning reporting on the case, “assembling a large, cult-like network of underage girls — with the help of young female recruiters — to coerce into having sex acts behind the walls of his opulent waterfront mansion as often as three times a day.” Epstein received what observers consider unusually lenient treatment by the U.S. attorney in Miami at the time, Alex Acosta. Acosta served as Trump’s secretary of labor but stepped down amid a slew of calls for his resignation after Epstein’s arrest earlier this summer. In that case, Epstein was defended by Harvard professor Alan Dershowitz and former special counsel Ken Starr.
Epstein’s trial was not set to begin until June 2020 at the earliest. He had been denied bail due to his access to private jets, private islands and multiple passports. Civil cases against Epstein’s estate will continue despite his death.
According to Courthouse News reporter Adam Klasfeld, a former prosecutor said that after Epstein’s death “no one else will have standing to challenge the search warrant on his house. Everything will be admissible against any other defendant without possibility of a motion to suppress.”
In the wake of Epstein’s death, many were quick to point out that hundreds of people kill themselves in jail every year and experts say most deaths are preventable with proper mental health care and monitoring.
However, the fact that he was able to hang himself less than a month after a previous suicide attempt — particularly one in which a former cop charged with four murders being jailed near Epstein was questioned over his potential involvement — raised questions from those far from the conspiratorial fringes of the internet.
“I am not into conspiracy theories,” said Brooklyn-based public defender Scott Hechinger. “But Epstein had destructive information on an extraordinary number of extraordinarily powerful people. It is not easy to commit suicide in prison. Especially after being placed on suicide watch. Especially after already allegedly trying.”
“The Bureau of Prisons is part of DOJ,” said Michael Bromwich, who previously served as the Justice Department’s inspector general. “This should prompt an immediate and comprehensive DOJ Inspector General investigation to determine who is responsible.”
“We need answers,” said Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., linking to a story about Epstein’s death. “Lots of them.”
Rep. Lois Frankel, D-Fla., has already called on the House Oversight Committee to investigate Epstein’s death, saying in a statement that it “does not end the need for justice for his victims or the right of the public to know why a prolific child molester got a slap on the wrist instead of a long prison sentence.”

i think one of my most distinct memories of a Bid with my dad was a few years ago during a day we had several people in the house, back in DC--a couple family friends that just happened to be there, because our house was very much a social spot.
anyway, there was a hawk in the yard, bathing in this fire pit that someone next door had left behind years ago that we picked up and never used (both because my parents and i never celebrated occasions, and my parents--especially my dad--had a strong fire aversion due to a housefire before i was born), so it was filled up with rainwater, and the hawk was bathing in it. it was very exciting, we were all looking out the glass door to the back, except for my dad, who was in his office as he usually was.
anyway, i took lots of photos and videos (i still have them). my dad has always loved animals, and especially had a fondness for birds. seeing a large bird of prey in that proximity in the middle of a very urban city like DC is a cool thing!
so i tried to show him the pictures and videos on my phone after it flew away, and he just said "maybe later". he wasn't doing anything. it was very easy to simply look at a picture, and he said no.
later on--i don't recall how long after that event i learned this--but one of his friends (a longtime friend from out of town) was witness to that exchange and told me he had chewed him out for it. i forget the details, but he was kind of horrified at the failure of that Bid.
this friend, either was already or soon after, moved to maine some time before my dad did after we left DC. he really came through for him a lot in the end, driving 5 hours roundtrip multiple times to bail my dad out of jail and put money in his commissary after his second DUI incident.
he said some really kind things, said he would do anything for my dad, that he knew my dad would do the same for him. so it was really hurtful and infuriating to hear my dad disparage him in one of the increasingly sparse phone conversations i had with him in his last few months. now i know that my dad was far more ill than i had really known at the time. dementia patients say some very mean things, and he was the kind of person that could mask his illness very effectively.
that friend was there with us when we came up to maine, my mom and uncle and i, when he passed. i watched him cry at his bedside when my dad was moved to the hospice home the day before he died, speaking to him while he was comatose. my dad was a shitty person but he was really loved. i dont know why i typed all this but it was a distinct memory that came to mind.
for a funnier story about this guy: he was my dad's supplier for weed also. my dad sold, so we would have a lot in the house at a time. anyway, my dad didn't bother moving his storage containers full of pot somewhere else when we had an open house one time. nothing happened ofc, but if anyone bothered to open the water heater room in the basement, they would have seen So many storage containers full of weed. lol

Bolton police officer Lee Cunliffe admits child sex offences
A BOLTON detective has been warned that he could face jail after admitting multiple child sex offences and misconduct in a public office. Lee Cunliffe, 40, who lives in Bolton and worked in Salford, entered guilty pleas during a hearing at Liverpool Crown Court. The detective constable admitted one count of attempting to arrange the commission of a child sex offence, three counts of making an indecent photograph of a child, one count of distributing an indecent photograph of a child, one count of misconduct in a public office and one count of perverting the course of public justice. Three other charges were ordered to lie on file. In September 2020, Cunliffe logged into an online chat room and struck up a conversation with someone he believed to be a mother with an eight-year-old child but, unbeknownst to him, was actually an undercover police officer. Various messages were sent between the two where Cunliffe made numerous attempts to arrange to meet up with the mother and her child in London and sent inappropriate, detailed messages. On October 2 October he was arrested and the same day an investigation was launched. He has remained suspended from duty since his arrest. Officers searched his address and seized his devices which revealed that Cunliffe had sent the messages to the undercover officer from his workplace in Swinton and his home address. Indecent images and videos were also found on his devices. During the course of the inquiry, urgent reviews of his role as a detective in other investigations were carried out, including a report of distributing sexual images which had been allocated to him as the officer in the case. In that particular case, digital forensics confirmed sexual images were present on devices that had been seized; however Cunliffe closed the crime and claimed there was "nothing on either device". Julian King, defending, asked for sentencing to be adjourned so a psychological report could be prepared. He said personal notes seized as part of the investigation showed the defendant’s “inner turmoil”. The Honorary Recorder of Liverpool, Judge Andrew Menary QC adjourned sentencing until January 12 and released Cunliffe on conditional bail. He said: “You must attend on the next occasion in the full expectation there may be a custodial sentence for these matters.” Speaking following the plea hearing GMP's Deputy Chief Constable, Terry Woods, said: "Lee Cunliffe's actions are inexcusable and have undermined the very essence of policing's core value of protecting the public and helping those in need. "I want to be clear that he does not reflect the vast majority of our officers who come to work each day and conduct themselves with the utmost professionalism and commitment to serving the people of Greater Manchester. "Quite frankly, we will not stand for this behaviour and we are prepared to take robust action whenever any offending comes to light, whether that be by proactively identifying it ourselves or responding to reports made to us. "I would encourage our officers, staff and the public to report any actions which breach our professional standards." Read the full article

Wow. Ok. That was sad. Looks like you fell for the media lies. You seriously bought into Russiagate which was proven false after over 3 years of investigation based on nothing.
BBC is state funded. CNN is pure garbage. MSNBC is trash. NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, etc all at the very least lean left.
Fox leans right and has a niche audience due to being the only network that goes right. It's dwarfed by the rest of the mainstream.
Once again, he never said Nazis were "very fine people" NEVER!. Media lie. Here's the transcript from CNN even
He specifically condemned Nazis. Multiple times.
He didn't shut up during the debates about white supremacy. That was yet another media lie. George Stephanopoulos asked him to condemn the Proud Boys (who's leader is Afro-Cuban and the organization outright condemns racism of all kinds) and he told them to stand back and stand by due to their fighting with Antifa which Biden refused to condemn.
I don't give Trump much credit for the economy but under him, the economy was the best the US has seen in decades. Even during covid, the unemployment level was on par with Obama's. Fact. The question is why. I don't give credit to him.
After the election, legal teams were sent to Philadelphia to investigate voter irregularities. Wtf nonsense have you been hearing? That's not dictatorship.
Even though i voted Biden, the election was bizarre. Without campaigning Biden shattered the record for votes and so did Trump yet Trump lost my 8 million votes? Some counties had well over 100% turnout? The average rejection rate for mail in ballots fell by 3000%. There were also loads of glitches and human errors that all favored one direction.
Anyone who thinks this recent election was completely legit, is blinded by the media.
Onto people blowing up polling stations. Never happened. On one occasion, 2 people tried to storm a center in Philly that refused access to a poll watcher and that was it. Those in the streets demanding the stop the counting were screaming because counts were going despite moniters not being given enough access to actually moniter. They were being forced to stand 25+ feet away so they couldn't see anything.
Yeah they walked with guns. Many in the US are gun owners. We just had 5 months of violent riots (sanctioned by the left. The Biden-Harris campaign literally bailed rioters out of jail) that left dozens dead, countless maimed, and billions of dollars worth of damage. Of course people armed themselves
With it comes to unifying vs dividing, once again point to the media. Both tried to unite early on. Media loved Obama and hated Trump.
Even recently. A few days ago, Obama sat back and trashed Hispanics for voting Trump. If Trump ever said half the things Obama said about Hispanics on Wednesday, people would lose their minds.
You've been lied to by the media. I was guilty of that too. I used to think, media wasnt insanely biased when I was an Obama fanboy. I was wrong then
Some of you liberals thinking Biden is the first step to dismantling imperialism when he infamously voted for both the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, pushed military involvement in Kosovo and championed the use of drone strikes during Obama’s administration.
Go grandpa

Stigma
Summary: I had a writing assignment for english and I chose to base it off of the highlight reel and Taehyung and Namjoon. I added more story line to it and tbh am hoping yall appreciate it more than my english teacher did.
Warnings: Mentions of death, blood, crime, character death, jail time, snagsty short story
The bright full moon shone light over two boys on the ledge of a 5-star hotel, they were on the top floor looking over the city and having a small conversations over minute details of the day that only they would appreciate. Police sirens blared around the city, going from crime scene to crime scene, some successful while some were unsuccessful and would lead to week to month long investigations, leaving citizens upset over the police’s unfinished work.
Joon looked over at Tae, he sat with his feet dangling, slouching against the wall, and feeling the cool night time breeze brush over his face as if softly caressing it like a mother cleaning dirt off of her child’s face. He wanted a better life for the younger boy and hated himself for allowing them to be sucked into the bad habits that their parents had carved into their brains with a stone knife. Joon looked over at the animated child-like teen who spoke about his latest art piece on the side of the old family owned bakery on Mochi street, it was a giant matrix that depicted different tragic stories, one being loss in the family through murder and the other through overdose, both things that the duo had experienced in their lifetimes, on the top right corner, under the window on the first floor the word Stigma was written in a lovely neat cursive. Tae looked over at Joon when he noticed that he wasn’t responding or giving a lecture on how he should be more cautious on getting caught by the police because he wouldn’t always be there to save him, but Joon was always there for Tae, so he didn’t feel the need to worry.
“It’s getting late, go see your sister and I’ll see you tomorrow. Don’t go back to the bakery, the police will be making their rounds and if they see you lurking they will abduct you.” Joon gave Tae a tight reassuring hug, hoping that the green haired misfit would take his words to heart and listen to him.
The next day, Joon woke up to harsh knocking on the door of his old RV, panicked, he quickly put on his jacket and went to the door, already prepared to lie if he needed to. When he opened the door, he laughed and ran a hand through his pink hair feeling ridiculous for thinking that the police were coming for him. Tae let himself inside as soon as Joon opened the door and rubbed his temples worriedly. The green haired boy stood in the middle of the dark grey carpet, looking at the elders bright pink scattered hair thinking about how to break troublesome news to the man who had raised him through his teenage years. Tae took a deep breath and looked at Joon straight in the eyes before his eyes started feeling like bees were stinging him and his vision resembled the bottom of the ocean.
“They are taking away the house, my sister won’t have anywhere to stay. I need to get money by yesterday. If not they said that the house is theirs. Joon I.... take care of her and me. Please, I know that you always watch over me but, tonight I’m going to commit a crime and I need you to keep her distracted.” By now Tae’s eyes had cleared up and mischief shone in the grey orbs, scaring Joon because he looked crazed, “ Tonight I’m going to do my usual routine and then I’m going in the bakery after hours and I’m taking the money from their safe. It’s the only shop in town that has no camera system so I’ll be safe Joon. Besides family comes first right?” he smirked as he twisted the words that the elder had used to him on many occasions before.
Joon sighed and told him that his sister couldn’t stay and that he was being stupid, what he needed was a job. He then pushed Tae out and rolled his eyes knowing that he would come to his senses but decided to follow him on his trip tonight just incase. However, he would do that after his Job interview to help both of the outcasts.
It was 10:45 when Tae started his graffiti on the bus station sign near the bank, unlike his other pieces of art, this one was more on the depressing side and had no piece of hope like the other ones, It was simple too, not complex or colorful, it was boring. The piece read ‘I’m fine’ but when looking at it upside down it read ‘Save me’ next to it was the head of a white fluffy dog smiling. Tae sighed and kicked the sign before starting more little creations to kill time, however that is when he noticed the blinding neon blue and flaming red lights accompanied by the cars wailing cry of warning, the vehicle came to a halt in front of the boy who had his head down.
Joon stepped around the corner where he knew Tae would be for the next half hour when he noticed a crowd forming across the street, he crossed the street and went around the crowd, near a building. As he came to a halt on the steps of the libraries entrance he spotted the boy whom he had dragged into the art of graffiti in the center of the crowd leaving him in a panic wondering what he could do to save the boy. However his feet seemed to be cemented into the ground as he watched them handcuff the teen who had a smirk on his face, as if assuming that they would let him go with a stern warning or that he would get bailed out before anything were to happen, but Joon fled as soon as he saw that smirk that Tae had worn on his face. He remembered that smirk from his mother minutes before she had overdosed and left him alone, the same smirk Tae wore night he killed his father after he had beat his mother to death and out of rage and protection for his sister he shot the man, the same smirk that the police wore when they told Joon about his long-term girlfriend that had just died in an accident on the way to the hospital for a checkup on their baby that would have been born almost a year ago, the same smirk that ruined his life on multiple occasions.
Tae waited for days before he was finally put into jail for a year for his crimes and saw the evil glint in the eyes of the officer when he was informed that both Joon, who he had said was his stepfather, and his sister had not responded to any calls or notices about him, leaving the teen hopeless for the first time in an eternity. He spent his days thinking about his sister who was probably never informed of the situation and vowed to change for her, the only important person in his life. He knew Joon was there that day and he saw the coward run away as he was being cuffed and told his rights, he watched his florescent hair run and not look back when he was being shoved into the back seat of the cop car, face down into the floor because of how roughly they pushed him, he saw his father figure, his best friend not turn back to check on him and throw away years of friendship.
“Joon! HELP!” Joon looked over at his window to see the boy who was crying hysterically while running over at him. Joon got out of the bed, leaving his girlfriend’s side to see what he was yelling about.
“Tae, what happened, why are you crying, Come inside” Joon let the red-faced boy inside and got him a cup of water to help him calm down.
Tae looked up at him with bloodshot eyes, his lip quivered in fear, his hands shook anxiously, his mouth moved rapidly as if attempting to make sense of the endless running in his head but no noise would come out. Eventually he was able to sputter out a few words, they made it clear as day what had caused his state of panic.
“I killed him- they’re dead”
Joon took a deep breath in before having Tae explain his story. He had him tell him in detail how he had seen his mother get beaten to death by his father and how his instincts took over and he grabbed the nearest thing, a gun, and killed his father in order to protect his sister from having to suffer the same fate as his late mother.
That night, Joon made Tae swear to tell him anything that happened to them no matter how small, he also made a promise that he would always protect Tae and his sister. He made up a lie and said that after beating his wife to death, Tae’s father realized what he had done and shot himself to protect his children. Joon also claimed that he and his girlfriend would take care of the two teens since they were expecting a child anyways and would love to have them join the family. Despite having a horrible start to the night, Tae and Joon smiled because of the hope that was held for them and their future families, for once they were given a chance.
On June 15, 2016, Joon was standing on a bridge watching a brunette pass out papers when a gust of wind caused the papers to scatter like a bunch of birds into the sky but fall gracefully onto the ground like leaves falling from a tree in autumn months, he swiftly moved and started to pick up her papers and the water bottle she had dropped while attempting to pick up papers. The female looked at him and gave him a silent thank you, she knew who he was and hoped that he would understand that the appreciation was for more than just helping her out.
On June 18, 2016, Tae sat at a convenience store table as he devoured a cup of Ramen, he had gotten released 2 months prior to this date, nearly 4 months before he was supposed to be released into society, he noticed a girl a little younger than him shoving items into her bag while looking around to make sure that the store clerk would not catch her. Tae stood up and grabbed her bag before paying for it and looking for the girl as she walked out of the store, leaning against the wall with an ashamed look before taking her bag and walking away.
As fate would have it, the two males learned from their mistakes and attempted to fix everything and hopefully the universe would allow them to forgive and accept the mistakes they both made. Joon with the girl on the bridge who happened to be Tae’s sister, who knew that her brothers friend had paid for her schooling and eventually for her brother to be released albeit not having seen him yet. The pair knew that he was fine but both wanted to see him and apologize for never visiting. Tae helped the girl from the convenience store to learn from her mistakes, he told her his story but then fell back into his bad habits when they came across one of his pieces of art. Tae and the girl began to graffiti around town, moreso the female than him but on one night when they were painting, the police came, and they ran, but this time, Tae turned himself in, with nothing but regret in his eyes. He stepped forward with his hands up, looking at the blinding flashlight, hoping that she ran away.
As Joon was out treating Tae’s sister to a nice meal, he received a call from an unknown number, he picked up and left money on the table before grabbing her by the hand and running out of the restaurant. Joon ignored the questions running out of the girls mouth as he focused on the road ahead of him. At the police station Joon paid for the bail and left Tae and his sister to reconcile.
He swiftly walked to his car to turn it on so that they could drive home quickly and eat before it was too late, but the universe was done with Joon, as it led a police K-9 Van straight towards Joon. When the police had seen what they had done, they blamed it on a drunk driver but never told the family inside.

My thoughts on Mass Incarceration
I would like to highlight certain aspects of Human rights violations and the racial disparities in the prison system. The human rights violations in the arresting, sentencing, life in the prison, and even life after release. Law enforcement today has made common practice dismantling lives and communities, making black men six times more likely to be incarcerated than white men, and black women incarcerated at four times the rate of white women. A system designed to make it easier for the state to strip away the human rights of African Americans.
The 13th amendment was ratified on Dec 6 1865. It was the year that black people set sail on liberation and the chains were supposedly cut loose. Section 1 of the 13th Amendment clearly states “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.” The 13th amendment never truly abolish slavery, it merely constructed conditions.
After slavery allegedly ended, Southern states criminalized minor offences. It was a crime to speak loudly around white women. It was a crime to sell the products from your farm after dark. It was a crime to walk beside a railroad. Anything from being drunk, or loitering, to spitting. The most damaging of all of these laws were the vagrancy laws. In every southern state a person became a criminal if they could not prove, at any given moment that they were employed. African Americans were essentially left to fend for themselves. They couldn’t count on sympathy from northerners, or the federal government. One thing they could count on was more and more attacks and animosity from southerners. Slowly state by state, new laws were passed that effectively criminalized black life. At this time, only ten percent of prisoners were white. It is very likely that white people didn’t commit less crimes because, historically, lynching was at an all-time high. Jails would rent prisoners out to companies for labor, and exchange labor for the companies paying housing of prisoners. The highest rate was reserved for the strongest workers and longest sentences. It was the nation’s first prison boom.
In between World War 2 and the 1970, black people were needed for work in factories during which time, black people weren’t needed in jail. Even while Jim Crow and racism was flourishing. It wasn’t until the need for factory jobs dried up in the 1970’s that another boom in the prison system. African Americans began to go back to prison in record numbers. The Nixon era returned once again to destroying African American families, with the launch of the “War on Drugs”. Nixon’s adviser John Enrilchman stated “The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I’m saying? We knew we
couldn’t make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders, raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did.”(LoBianco, Tom.)
This was a war on specific groups of people, not drugs. Ronald Regan extended the power of the prison system further by pushing for mandatory sentences and “no knock” warrants. Reagan, knowing that the new drug “crack” was prevalent in black neighborhoods and cocaine was largely in white neighborhoods, placed mandatory sentencing for crack which was far harsher than cocaine charges. The presidents to follow passed more policies that contributed to mass incarceration.
Fast forward today, and the prison system is a complete mess. Prison is intended to be a place where people are sent to be punished and learn their mistakes, hopefully deterring others from breaking the law. Punishment, corrections and deterrence. However, society has adopted a line of thinking wherein prisoners are external to society. Prisons do have high walls with barbed wires and gunman separated them from civilians. Society has forgotten that millions of prisoners are released each year. Today’s prisoners are tomorrows neighbors. If this were considered with more prevalence, society would think that corrections would be the most important part of the equation. In reality, this is far from the truth inside the prison system. Correction takes a dusty, distant back seat to punishment. America contains only about 4% of the world’s population, however, it is home to 25% of prisoners world-wide. America has the highest incarceration rate in the world. In the last 30 years that number has increased 400%. With 41% of juveniles arrested by the time they are 23, while rates for black women in particular have risen by 800%. African American men make 37% of the prison population but only making up 13% of the general population. African American woman account for 58% of drug offences; they are greatly affected by the “War on Drugs”. Denying the implication of these facts becomes impossible when examining the ratios in many states. New Jersey incarcerates 12 black men to one white man. Wisconsin; 11 black men to one white man. Iowa; 11 black men to one white man; the list goes on. There are more African Americans in prison than college in America. Children as young as 13 have been sentenced to die in prison.
Solitary confinement is a human rights violation. Our prisons violate internal standards, with solitary confinement that increases instability, and violence between inmates, to an extent that is considered torture by international law. In America, the practice is not regulated by anyone other than the prison officials. No judge, no jury. It’s arguably the most inhumane practice in prison, with no available appeals process. Solitary confinement is a form of imprisonment in which an inmate is isolated from any human contact, often with the exception of members of prison staff, for 22–24 hours a day, with a sentence ranging from days to decades. (“Solitary confinement.” Wikipedia,)It is mostly employed as a form of punishment beyond incarceration for a
prisoner, usually for violations of prison regulations. However, it is also used as an additional measure of protection for vulnerable inmates. (“Solitary confinement.” Wikipedia,) Prisoners are at high risk of suicide, anxiety, depression, anger, cognitive disturbances, perceptual distortions, obsessive thoughts, paranoia, and psychosis. The U.N. says anything longer than 15 days is torture, however, in America people may stay in solitary confinement for years.
The lack of health care in these prisons is a violation of human rights. Overcrowding, violence, sexual abuse, and other conditions pose a grave risk to prisoner health and safety. Mistreatment of prisoners is based on race or disability remains far too common. Juveniles who have been placed in isolation repeatedly and held in five point restraints for days on end. A prisoner whose diabetes went untreated, causing him to lose 90% of his eyesight in one eye. A prisoner who repeatedly complained of chest pain and shortness of breath suffered a heart attack and was left to die alone in his cell. Multiple prisoners who are denied auxiliary aids and services for their hearing, vision, or mobility disabilities. Prisoners with disabilities are also not provided accommodations in the parole hearing process, leading to denial of parole, longer stays, and contributing to overcrowding, often leading to overuse of solitary confinement, including putting two prisoners into an isolation cell designed for one. This practice has resulted in death on several occasions. All of these effects are amplified disproportionately upon African Americans. (“Overcrowding in Nebraska’s Prisons Has Led to Constitutional Violations.”)
A significant contributing factor to overcrowding in prisons occurs when people get arrested without sufficient money for a lawyer or bail. Most people are bribed with a “plead deal”. For example, a person is offered the opportunity to take 5 years in jail or be faced with a trial that may result in 50 years. Most people who don’t have money for a lawyer will likely not take the matter to trial. The accused could be innocent man or woman doing 5 years because they didn’t have money for bail or a lawyer. The primary cause for this practice is ridiculously long mandatory sentence that was set in place. 97% of people that get locked up never see a trial, marking one of the worst human rights violation in the U.S. In the event a person were to bring the matter to trial, regardless of their situation, they could sit in prison for years until seeing a court. By overloading the court system, the right to a speedy trial is cleverly bypassed. What essentially is being done is, the courts punish people more for fighting a case.
Another problem generated by the prison system occurs when returning to civilian life. America makes it intentionally leagues more difficult to get a job in America once a person has been convicted of a felony, and the right to vote is removed indefinitely. Convicts are ineligible to get student loans, welfare, food stamps and public housing. They are often disconnected from support on the outside. In addition to having high rates of returning to prison, inmates have high homelessness and suicide. They are stripped away from their rights as an American. So many aspects of Jim Crow are legal again, once a person has been branded a felon. Jim Crow did it’s job by locking people of color
into second class citizens. Jim Crow and slavery were caste systems, which resemble the current system of mass incarceration flawlessly.
Options for people in this situation are now very limited. Voting out the people who established these policies is not an option, as the right to vote for felons no longer exists. African American community are affected, and as a minority group, many of them can’t do anything alone to fix it. Not being able to vote, and having a discussion on your life and community is a human rights violation.
One might argue, “if you can’t do the time, don’t do the time.” However, there are drugs all over campuses and yacht clubs. I don’t see the swat team busting in their doors. The circumstances are different for low income neighborhoods. If rich kids get in trouble they go to rehab, if poor folk’s kids get in trouble they go to prison. African Americans have been affected the most. When there are disproportionately high incarnation rates with black men and women. Mothers and fathers are taken away from their homes. Homes are broken and when mothers and fathers come back jobs are hard to obtain, boosting the criminal activity in their neighborhoods, making the neighborhoods unsafe. All while the property taxes going doing in said neighborhood. The children are not just affected at home, it affects their schooling as well. In low-income neighborhood schools get money off of people’s property taxes. Schools in those neighborhoods don’t get as much money. Not giving a child equal opportunity in schools, is also a human rights violation. Society is spending $100,00.00 keeping that kid in prison, when we could’ve spent less helping him become a NASA scientist, or anything they want to be. When these people come home, they aren’t given the opportunity to start over. They leave a physical prison for a social prison. There are more African American people in prison today then there were slaves in 1850.
Through the review of incarceration statistics and socio-economic analysis, a conclusion can be drawn that the American prison system today is and always has been wielded as a replacement for slavery, abusing the 13th amendment to accomplish the violation of human rights disproportionately in the direction of African Americans. A system designed to revoke the rights to voting, freedom from torture, freedom from unpaid labor, entitlement to a speedy trial by jury, and devastating equal opportunity in schools, housing, and employment. Indeed, the prison system is stacked against the rights of many African American’s to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness defying the very notion that all men are created equal.

Faith Dodson-Bey English 101.007 October 10,2017
Argumentative Essay To begin, this essay will explain my personal feelings on the Kalief Browder
story. This essay will also give specific examples and supporting details about my personal thoughts, and lastly I will justify why I believe Kalief should have not been placed in jail in the first placed.
Firstly, Kalief was a 16 year old boy, grew up in the Bronx, New york city, NY. Kalief and his friend was walking home from a party, and just 3 blocks from his house he was pulled over by the cops. The boys figured it was just a frisk which is when a situation happens and the cops pull over and pat down whoever is in the area. However, it was not exactly that, The cops told Kalief and Kalief’s friend that a victim pointed them out for robbing his brother, and taking his book bag which contained an Ipod, $700, and headphones last week.
The victim could not seem to get his story straight from if it was last week, yesterday, or even if it was either Kalief nor his friend. However, the police had to follow protocol, because they were accused they still had to take them down to the station. The police told Kalief and his friend that if everything is a misunderstanding they will be able to go home that day. Sadly, that did not go as planned.
That one night turned into three years, which changed Kalief Browder’s life tragically. Although Kalief never stood trial or was accused of any crime, Kalief was placed in the most harsh jails possible. Rikers Island which is located East Elmhurst, NY. Kalief was awaiting trial for 3 whole years because he did not want to plead guilty for a crime he did not commit. Kalief was offered to take a plea so many times, but because Kalief was so strong he stayed in jail to make the system work. When I say “make the system work” I mean Kalief stayed in jail to prove to the system that he will not be another black male fugitive. Kalief spent 3 whole years in jail for a crime he did not commit. That is 1095 days, and 36 months.
During Kalief Browder time in jail, he had to fight his way through. The other inmates picked on Kalief because he was so small and so young. The other inmates wanted Kalief to do what they wanted him to do, in which Kalief was not accepting. Kalief had been jumped on many occasions with the guards just watching. However, the inmates was not the only people Kalief had to worry about. The guards, The guards were also beating on Kalief because they figured because he is in jail he is an animal, so why not treat him like one?
Kalief spent approximately 800 of the 1,095 days on Rikers Island in solitary confinement. Solitary confinement is an isolation of a prisoner in a separate cell, which is enforced as a punishment. Most days Kalief did not eat, and if he got lucky the guards would give him leftover scraps that the other inmates picked threw. Some days Kalief was not allowed to take a shower, it got so bad Kalief started to smell himself. It is said that solitary confinement breaks you mentally. It is proven that you leave solitary
confinement with mental health issues. His longest duration of solitary confinement was 17 months.
Kalief was then released from jail, not knowing where to start to rebuild his life. Kalief dreamt of being a businessman, he missed out on prom, graduations, birthdays and everything else a teenager loves as a child. Kalief Browder got his life taken away from him, for something he just did not do.
After prison Kalief tried to rekindle his life, he attended a community college in new york, started to see a counselor, and even been on tv interviews to share his story. However, for some reason Kalief just could not let rikers go, or maybe they did not let him go. Kalief’s neighborhood then turned against him because everyone thought he had “money”. In the result of that Kalief was shot, and was stabbed on the side of his face. Kalief started to believe that he just might have bad luck. Furthermore, Kalief sued everyone that made his life hell. However, as soon as Kalief started to feel a little better, things started to get worst.
June 6, 2015 Kalief Browder committed suicide. Kaliief mentally went crazy, and that was because of Rikers. Before prison Kalief was just a normal kid, going to school, parties, just being a teenager. But because Kalief was a African American Black male that just so happen to match someone’s memory, his life was taken away from him.
Personally, I believe Kalief should have not been placed in Rikers Island. Kalief was just 16 years old, he was not built for prison. Because kalief was a minor he should have been placed in a Juvenile delinquent facility, but that’s if he committed the crime.
The government did not take Kalief to trial because they couldn’t find him guilty of any charges, therefore they kept putting it on delay, plus trial would cost to much. The government did not care if Kalief was guilty or not, they just wanted him to pay his bail. It is said that Individuals are still in jail not because of the crime committed but because of the bail being so high that it's just not possible for them to leave. I believe everyone should pay for the death of Kalief Browder he did not deserve 3 years locked in a cell barely eating or washing, getting beat up by multiple people because they knew he would defend himself, and getting beaten by the ones supposed to protect him.
To conclude, I have shared my personal feelings on this case, I gave my reasons why I believe Kalief should have not been placed in jail, and I hope that sharing this story gives you a better view of what falsely accused individuals go through.

Jeffrey Epstein told guards that someone tried to KILL HIM weeks before he hanged himself | Daily Mail Online
Jeffrey Epstein told prison guards and fellow inmates that he believed someone had tried to kill him weeks before his death, a source has revealed to DailyMail.com. He was found hanging in his jail cell on Saturday morning
Jeffrey Epstein told prison guards and fellow inmates that he believed someone had tried to kill him in the weeks before his death, a source has revealed to DailyMail.com
The insider, who had seen the disgraced financier on several occasions during his incarceration at the Metropolitan Correctional Center, also claims that the normally reserved Epstein seemed to be in good spirits.
'There was no indication that he might try to take his own life,' the source told DailyMail.com
'From what I saw, he was finally starting to adjust to prison. I think he was comforted by the rigidity of his new life.'
The world was left stunned early Saturday after news that Epstein was found hanging in his prison cell shortly before 7am.
The 66-year-old was rushed to nearby New York Presbyterian-Lower Manhattan hospital where he was pronounced dead.
On Saturday afternoon, a black bag believed to contain Epstein's body was pictured being taken out of the hospital.
The body was later switched into a white van belonging to a medical examiner, before it was transported away.
A coroner will now perform an investigation.

Hospital staff are seen preparing a white coroner's van before Epstein's body was loaded inside
A coroner will now examine Epstein's body, while both the FBI and the Inspector General will open investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death
In a statement, Metropolitan Correctional Center told DailyMail.com that the FBI is now launching an investigation into Epstein's death.
The former financier, 66, was awaiting trial on charges of conspiracy and sex trafficking and was being held at the high-security complex without bail.
Epstein - who once boasted an array of high-profile friends including Prince Andrew and President Bill Clinton - was arrested on July 6, accused of arranging to have sex with underage girls at his residences in New York City and Florida between 2002 and 2005.
He had pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Epstein's suicide comes just two weeks after he was hospitalized following what may have been an initial attempt to take his own life.
On July 24, Epstein was rushed to hospital under police guard after he was discovered semi-conscious on the floor of his prison cell in the fetal position.

He spent several hours receiving medical attention before he was transported back to the Metropolitan Correctional Center.
It has not been confirmed whether Epstein attempted suicide, or whether he may have been attacked inside his prison cell.
The billionaire had been taken off suicide watch before taking his own life on Saturday morning - sparking outrage from Attorney General William Barr who has now vowed to look into the circumstances surrounding Epstein's death.
'Epstein's death raises serious questions that must be answered,' Barr said in a statement on Saturday afternoon.
'In addition to the FBI's investigation, I have consulted with the Inspector General who is opening an investigation into the circumstances of the death'.
According to a prison officer, Epstein was being kept in a special unit with additional security, but he was not being actively surveyed by officials at the facility.
The decision to remove Epstein, who was possibly the most high-profile inmate in the federal jail system, from suicide watch has both baffled and outraged former wardens and veterans of the federal prison system alike.
'For them to pull him off suicide watch is shocking,' Cameron Lindsay, a former warden, told NBC News.
'For someone this high-profile, with these allegations and this many victims, who has had a suicide attempt in the last few weeks, you can take absolutely no chances. You leave him on suicide watch until he's out of there.'
Meanwhile, a number of other high-profile Washington figures have demanded more information as to what happened to Epstein.
Freshman Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took to Twitter shortly after news of the millionaire's death broke, stating: 'We need answers. Lots of them'.
2020 Presidential hopefuls Amy Klobuchar and Kirsten Gillibrand also demanded transparency as to the details of Epstein's death.

Following news of the Epstein's death, several purported victims spoke of their anger at the fact the millionaire will not face justice for his alleged crimes.
Jennifer Araoz - who claimed she was raped by Epstein at the age of 15 - told NBC News: 'I am angry Jeffrey Epstein won't have to face survivors of his abuse in court. We have to live with the scars of his actions for the rest of our lives, while he will never face the consequences of the crimes he committed.'
Attorney Lisa Bloom - who represents three of the millionaire's alleged sex trafficking victims - shared a statement from one of her anonymous accusers.
'I will never have a sense of closure now. I am angry as hell that the prison could have allowed this to happen and that I and his other victims will never see him face the consequences for his horrendous actions,' the statement read.
'I hope that whoever allowed this to happen also faces some type of consequence. You stole from us, the huge piece of healing that we needed to move on with our lives.'

Epstein's shocking suicide comes just 24 hours after court documents from Virginia Roberts Giuffre (pictured) were unsealed
BOMBSHELL COURT DOCUMENTS UNSEALED
Epstein's death comes just 24 hours after more than 2,000 pages of documents detailing the lurid allegations of his sexual abuse of underage girls were unsealed to the public.
On Friday morning, a federal appeals court published explosive documents pertaining to a 2015 lawsuit that Virginia Roberts Giuffre had filed against Epstein's associate, socialite Ghislaine Maxwell.
Giuffre claimed Epstein and Maxwell kept her as a 'sex slave' in the early 2000s, whilst she was underage.
The unsealed papers - which made international news on Friday - implicated a number of high-profile men in sex scandals.
They include transcripts of a May 3, 2016 deposition made by Giuffre, in which she alleged that she was trafficked by Epstein and Maxwell to have sex with and provide erotic massages for politicians and affluent businessmen.
Giuffre claimed that she was 'instructed' by Maxwell to have sex with former Senate Majority George Mitchell and former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson.
Both Richardson and Mitchell have denied the allegations.
According to the documents, Giuffre claimed she also had sex with Epstein's friend Prince Andrew on multiple occasions, including once in London when she was 17 years of age.
Jeffrey Epstein's former sex slave Virginia Roberts Giuffre alleges that she was intimate with Prince Andrew on multiple occasions. She is pictured with Prince Andrew and Maxwell at Maxwell's London townhouse in 2001

The Prince has always denied any wrongdoing and in a 2015 court application, a judge threw out Guiffre's allegations that she had sex with the Prince.
The judge ordered the allegations to be struck from the record as being 'immaterial and impertinent.'
Buckingham Palace also issued on the record statements in January 2015, stating: 'Any suggestion of impropriety with underage minors is categorically untrue.'
Giuffre was working at President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort at the time she met Ghislaine Maxwell, who then went on to introduce her to Epstein.
Epstein is known for his previous friendship with President Trump but Giuffre has denied ever having sexual relationships with the Commander-in-chief.

Epstein was also an associate of President Bill Clinton - but the unsealed court documents reveal that Giuffre similarly denied ever being intimate him.
Giuffre was the first woman to go public with accusations against Epstein - and is the most high profile of his alleged victims.
The alleged 'sex slave' has previously recounted how she found herself being shuttled around the world and raped by men three times her age in court papers after she met Ghislaine Maxwell.
'Epstein had promised me a lot, and I knew if I left I would be in big trouble. I also knew that I was a witness to a lot of illegal and very bad behavior by Epstein and his friends,' stated one filing.
'If I left Epstein, he knew all kinds of powerful people. He could have had me killed or abducted, and I always knew he was capable of that if I did not obey him. He let me know that he knew many people in high places... I was very scared, particularly since I was a teenager.'
'When I was with him, Epstein had sex with underage girls on a daily basis. His interest in this kind of sex was obvious to the people around him,' she also stated.
'The activities were so obvious and bold that anyone spending any significant time at one of Epstein's residences would have clearly been aware of what was going on.'
JEFFREY EPSTEIN'S UNDOING: A TIMELINE OF THE MILLIONAIRE PEDOPHILE'S DOWNFALL
1999 - Virginia Roberts Giuffre is allegedly recruited by Ghislaine Maxwell to became Epstein's 'sex slave,' at 17. She also claimed that he forced her to have sex with his friend Prince Andrew, the second son of Queen Elizabeth.
2002 - Trump tells New York Magazine that his friend Epstein 'likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.'
2005 - A 14-year-old girl tells police that Epstein molested her at his Palm Beach mansion.
May 2006 - Epstein and two of his associates are charged with multiple counts of unlawful sex acts with a minor. State attorney of the time Barry Krischer, referred the case to a grand jury who heard from just two of the 12 girls law enforcement had gathered as potential witnesses. They returned just one single count of soliciting prostitution.
July 2006 - The case is referred to the FBI by the Florida Palm Beach police who were unhappy with how the case was handled.
2007 - Epstein's lawyers meet with Miami's top federal prosecutor Alexander Acosta, who would later become the Secretary of Labor in the Trump administration. They secretly negotiate the 'deal of a lifetime'.
June 2008 - After pleading guilty to two prostitution charges, the millionaire was sentenced to 18 months in a low-security prison in exchange for prosecutors ending their investigation into his sex acts with minors and give him immunity from future prosecution related to those charges. In reality, Epstein was able to work from his office six days a week while supposedly incarcerated at the jail.
July 2008 - Accusers learned of the deal for the first time.
July 2009 - Epstein is released from jail five months early.
July 2018 - The Miami Herald publishes investigative journalist Julie K. Brown's exposé on Epstein's long history of alleged sexual abuse and news of the 'deal of a lifetime' after Acosta was made Labor Secretary.
February 2019 - The justice department opens an internal review into Epstein's plea deal.
July 7, 2019 - Epstein is arrested after his private jet lands at New Jersey's Teterboro Airport from Paris. At the same time, federal agents break into his Manhattan townhouse where they uncovered hundreds of photographs of naked minors.
July 8, 2019 - Epstein is charged with sex trafficking charges which detail how he created a network of underage girls in Florida and New York, paying girls as young as 14 to provide 'massages and sex acts.' The charges carry a sentence of up to 45 years in prison.
July 11, 2019 - More than a dozen women, not previously known to law enforcement, came forward to accuse him of sex abuse.
July 24 - Epstein was found unconscious in his cell after an apparent suicide attempt. He was moved to suicide watch at the Metropolitan Correctional Center.
August 9, 2019 - More than 2,000 documents are unsealed which reveal the lurid allegations against Epstein in detail.
August 10, 2019 - Epstein is found dead in his cell.
CHARGES OF CONSPIRACY AND SEX TRAFFICKING
At the time of his suicide, Epstein was facing up to 45 years in prison on charges of conspiracy and sex trafficking following his arrest on July 7.
The millionaire was taken into custody at New Jersey's Teterboro Airport after his private jet landed from Paris.
On the same day, federal agents raided his $77 million Manhattan townhouse where they uncovered hundreds of photographs of naked minors.
Prosecutors claim Epstein sexually exploited dozens of underage teenagers, some as young as 14, at his homes in Manhattan and Palm Beach, Florida, between 2002 and 2005.
They allege the businessman was 'well aware that many of the victims were minors.'
The girls were paid hundreds of dollars in cash to massage him, perform sexual acts and to recruit other girls, prosecutors allege.
They say Epstein had an army of recruiters, often not much older than their targets, who would approach vulnerable teens.
After his arrest, Epstein was subsequently denied bail.

PREVIOUS CONVICTION AND 'SWEETHEART DEAL'
Epstein is a convicted pedophile who was previously served 13 months in a Florida prison after pleading guilty to procuring an underage prostitute in the state.
Prior to his conviction in June 2008, Epstein's lawyers met with Miami's top federal prosecutor, Alexander Acosta, to negotiate a 'lenient plea deal'.
Epstein pleaded guilty in exchange for the short prison sentence in a low-security jail, as well as immunity from future prosecution related to his charges.
It was later revealed that Epstein was allowed to leave prison on a regularly basis to work at a nearby office.
In recent months, critics have been outraged by the lenient sentence, dubbed 'a sweetheart deal'.
Last month, Acosta - who negotiated the deal - was forced to resign from his post as Secretary of Labor in the Trump administration over the fallout.
Epstein was released from prison in early 2010 and quickly managed to make his way back into high-powered New York circles.
He was spotted walking in Central Park with Prince Andrew later that same year.
Katie Couric, Woody Allen, Chelsea Handler and George Stephanopoulos were invited to a dinner at Epstein's Manhattan mansion alongside the Prince in 2010.
FROM MIDDLE CLASS TO MULTI-MILLIONAIRE: HOW EPSTEIN ACQUIRED HIS FORTUNE
Epstein was born to a middle-class family in Brooklyn, New York. He attended public school before dropping out of an undergraduate degree at Cooper Union.
Despite having no formal qualifications, Epstein commenced work as a physics and mathematics teacher at the prestigious Dalton School in Manhattan. He was hired by then- headmaster Donald Barr - the father of current Attorney General, William Barr.
It proved to be the beginning of four decades spent in the midst of power and privilege.
During his two-year tenure at the elite private school, Epstein met Bear Stearns CEO Alan Greenberg, whose two children were students at Dalton.
Greenberg was reportedly impressed by Epstein's quick mind, and offered him a job as a trader at Bear Stearns in 1976.
Epstein quickly found success in the field, and went on to work as a financial consultant.
He opened his own financial management firm, J. Epstein & Company, in 1988.

JEFFREY EPSTEIN'S ALLEGED VICTIMS
VIRGINIA ROBERTS GIUFFRE
Virginia Roberts Giuffre is pictured above at a museum in New Mexico in 2001 in a photo snapped by Epstein)
Virginia Roberts Giuffre is perhaps the most high-profile of Epstein's alleged victims.
She claims she is a former sex slave of Epstein and says the millionaire asked her to be a surrogate when she was just 18, around the same time he said she was too old for his sexual perversions.
Her allegations were made public when her since-settled lawsuit against Epstein's former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell was included among the more than 2,000 pages of documents made public by the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
In a deposition included in the newly released papers, Giuffre said that her father, who worked at Mar-a-Lago as a maintenance manager, got her a job there in summer 2000 as a locker room attendant at the club's spa when she was 16.
She said she was reading a book on massage therapy one day when she was approached by Maxwell, who noticed the book and told her she knew someone seeking a traveling masseuse. When Giuffre said she had no experience or credentials, she recalled Maxwell said: 'We can train you. We can get you educated.'
The court records contain graphic allegations against Epstein, portraying him as a sex slave-driver with an insatiable appetite for underage girls.
'My whole life revolved around just pleasing these men and keeping Ghislaine and Jeffrey happy,' Giuffre said. 'Their whole entire lives revolved around sex.'
Giuffre said Maxwell instructed her to take off her clothes and give oral sex to Epstein the first time she met him after bringing her to Epstein's Florida home near Mar-a-Lago with the expectation she would be trained as a masseuse.
Prosecutors have not accused Maxwell of any wrongdoing. They say they continue to investigate.
In her own deposition, Maxwell called the claims another one of Giuffre's 'many fictitious lies and stories to make this a salacious event to get interest and press. It's absolute rubbish.'
Giuffre managed to escape, after being sent to Thailand for her 19th birthday to take a massage course. She now lives with her husband and children in Australia.
JENNIFER ARAOZ
Jennifer Araoz (pictured left as a teenager, and right in 2019) claims she was a victim of Jeffrey Epstein
Jeffrey Epstein was hit with a lawsuit from Jennifer Araoz on July 23 of this year.
Araoz, now 32, claims she was 15-years-old when she met Epstein after a 'recruiter' targeted her outside of her Manhattan high school and lured her to the millionaire's house, located several blocks away.
For the next year, Epstein allegedly manipulated Araoz into giving him massages that ended with him masturbating while he showered her with gifts and cash.
The illicit contact ended after Epstein 'forcibly raped' her, according to Araoz.
Araoz claims she dropped out of school to avoid Epstein and her life quickly deteriorated. She is seeking damages for her emotional injuries.
JOHANNA SJOBERG
Johanna Sjoberg is pictured in 2007
One of the women who alleges she was 'lured' to Jeffrey Epstein's New York City mansion says the multimillionaire sex offender told her he needed to have 'three orgasms a day.'
'It was biological, like eating,' Epstein is alleged to have told Johanna Sjoberg.
Sjoberg's testimony was revealed after a federal appeals court on Friday unsealed about 2,000 pages of documents related to Epstein, the financier facing charges of sex trafficking involving dozens of underage girls.
The documents were released by the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan, as part of a defamation lawsuit by Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein's accusers, against Ghislaine Maxwell, a longtime friend of Epstein.
Sjoberg gave statements in a deposition as part of a lawsuit brought against Maxwell by Virginia Roberts Giuffre.
She said that she was recruited by Maxwell in 2001, when she was a student at Palm Beach Atlantic College.
Sjoberg was under the impression she was being hired as a personal assistant, but she soon realized her job was to provide 'sexual massages' to Epstein.
According to The New York Times, Sjoberg was 'punished' when Epstein failed to orgasm as a result of one of her massages.
Giuffre alleges that Maxwell recruited her when she was 16 years old to be Epstein's 'sex slave.'
The lawsuit was settled in 2017 while the terms were kept confidential.
JENA-LISA JONES
Jena-Lisa Jones (left) stated on Saturday: 'God will have his judgement now'. Michelle Licata (right) said: 'I just wanted him to be held accountable for his actions'
Jena-Lisa Jones claims she was just 14 years old when she was allegedly molested by Epstein in Florida.
The purported incident, which occurred in the mid-2000s, left Jones feeling traumatized.
'You beat yourself up mentally and physically,' the now-30 year old previously told The Miami-Herald.
Jones has become one of the first women to speak out following news of Epstein's death.
'God will have his judgement now,' she told NBC.
COURTNEY WILD
Alleged victim Courtney Wild (left) is pictured with her lawyer. She claims she was just 14 years old when she met Epstein
Last year, Courtney Wild told The Miami Herald that she first met Jeffrey Epstein in 2002, when she 14-years-old and still wearing braces.
She alleges that she helped recruit underage girls for the financier for seven years, alleging that he preferred those who were 'white and easy to manipulate'.
'By the time I was 16, I had probably brought him 70 to 80 girls who were all 14 and 15 years old... He wanted as many girls as I could get him. It was never enough,' she told the paper.
Wild was wracked with guilt following her association with Epstein and her life fell apart.
She served three years in prison on drugs charges and was only released in November of last year.
MICHELLE LICATA AND ANNIE FARMER
Michelle Licata (left) and Annie Farmer (right) say they were both victims of Jeffrey Epstein
Michelle Licata claims she was a 16-year-old virgin living in Florida when she was recruited by a high-school friend to give 'massages' to Epstein.
Soon after arriving at the millionaire's Florida mansion, she says she felt uncomfortable and he allegedly began calling her 'beautiful and sexy and gorgeous'.
She described an encounter with Epstein to The Miami Herald in excruciating detail last year.
Believing she was going to give the financier an innocent massage, she was left traumatized when he began masturbating in front of her.
'He kept trying to put his fingers inside me and told me to pinch his nipples. He was mostly saying 'just do that, harder, harder and do this...
'He ruined my life and a lot of girls' lives,' Licata told the paper last year.
Meanwhile, Annie Farmer said she was 16 when she met Epstein in New York.
'He was inappropriate with me,' she told reporters earlier this month, although she did not disclose further details.
She was one of Epstein's alleged victims who appeared in court on July 15 urging a judge to keep the millionaire behind bars, rather than release him on bail.
UNNAMED 15-YEAR-OLD SWEDISH GIRL
Court documents also revealed that a 15-year-old Swedish girl was allegedly confined to Epstein's private island (pictured) and kept there as a sex slave
Court documents also revealed that a 15-year-old Swedish girl was allegedly confined to Epstein's private island and kept there as a sex slave.
The horrific allegations were made by a butler who worked for hedge fund millionaire Glenn Dubin and his wife, Eva Andersson-Dubin.
During a 2016 deposition which was revealed publicly for the first time on Friday, the butler, Rinaldo Rizzo, tearfully described seeing a 15-year-old girl in his boss's kitchen in 2005.
Rizzo testified in the deposition that the girl was brought to the home by Andersson-Dubin, a former Miss Sweden who once dated Epstein.
The butler said that the girl reminded him of other girls he saw at Epstein's home, according to The Daily Beast.
Rizzo said the girl sat in a stool next to a kitchen counter in the Dubins' home. She was 'distraught and shaking...literally quivering' as she described her treatment at the hands of Epstein's alleged madam, Ghislaine Maxwell, and his assistant, Sarah Kellen, in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
He claims he told her that they had demanded sex from her and taken away her passport and threatened her when she refused.
Rizzo testified in a deposition which was part of Giuffre's defamation lawsuit brought against Maxwell.
Giuffre also accused Glenn Dubin of participating in the sex-trafficking ring, according to court documents.
Dubin has denied the allegations.
HOW EPSTEIN 'STOLE MILLIONS' FROM HIS LONGTIME FRIEND AND VICTORIA'S SECRET FOUNDER LESLIE WEXNER WHILE MANAGING HIS FINANCES
The retail titan behind Victoria's Secret has accused the financier Jeffrey Epstein of misappropriating 'vast sums' of his fortune while managing his personal finances more than a decade ago.
Ohio billionaire Leslie Wexner said in a letter Wednesday that he recovered 'some of the funds' but severed ties with Epstein in 2007 as sexual abuse allegations first surfaced against him in Florida.
The letter was first reported by The Wall Street Journal, which put the amount of misappropriated money at more than $46 million.
It's unclear whether Wexner reported the allegations to law enforcement.
'This was, frankly, a tremendous shock, even though it clearly pales in comparison to the unthinkable allegations against him now,' Wexner wrote.
He added that he was 'sickened' by Epstein's alleged abuse of dozens of underage girls in New York and Florida.
Wexner is the founder and chief executive officer of L Brands, a fashion retailer based in Ohio. The company's board recently hired an outside law firm to review any role Epstein may have played at the business.
Epstein managed Wexner's fortune beginning in the late 1980s and helped straighten out the finances for a real estate development Wexner was backing in a wealthy Columbus, Ohio, suburb.
It was through Wexner that Epstein acquired his seven-story Manhattan mansion less than a block from Central Park, a 21,000-square-foot residence that has been valued at about $77 million.
Wexner said he believed he could trust Epstein at first based on 'friends who vouched for and recommended him as a knowledgeable financial professional.'
'I am embarrassed that, like so many others, I was deceived by Mr. Epstein,' he wrote in the letter. 'I know now that my trust in him was grossly misplaced and I deeply regret having ever crossed his path.'
Leslie Wexner, the founder and CEO of Victoria's Secret parent company L Brands Inc, accused Jeffrey Epstein of stealing more than $46million from his family's fortune. Wexner (above with model Stella Maxwell in 2016) hired Epstein as his money manager in 1991 and cut ties with him in 2007 after the financier was accused of sexually abusing underage girls
JEFFREY EPSTEIN AND HIS BIZARRE LEGACY: HE PLANNED TO SEED THE HUMAN RACE WITH HIS DNA AND HAVE HIS HEAD AND PENIS FROZEN WHEN HE DIED
Multiple sources told The New York Times that over the years, Epstein revealed to scientists and close friends that he 'hoped to seed the human race with his DNA by impregnating women at his vast New Mexico ranch.'
A NASA scientist who attended one of Epstein's dinners after he served time for soliciting a minor said that the disgraced moneyman had based this idea on the Repository for Germinal Choice.
That was a bank which had been created with the intent of only accepting the DNA of Nobel prize winners, and ultimately closed down after getting a single submission.
Some suspected that Epstein's dinners were a ploy to kick-start his plan, gathering attractive college-educated women who he saw as candidates to carry his offspring.
Epstein also told one person that upon his death, 'he wanted his head and penis to be frozen' and donated to charities that supported transhumanism, the belief that the human race can further advance and evolve using advancements from the worlds of science.
Dozens of acquaintances - including one of Epstein's former defense attorneys - told the Times this was all fueled by his veiled fascination for eugenics, the idea that the human race could be improved through selective breeding.
Epstein mingled with the cream of the scientific community, and was heavily involved in many scientific pursuits.
He called himself a 'scientific philanthropist', donating a rumored $20 million a year, and hosting parties in the US and on the Virgin Islands.
