The Romance Tropes Legacy Challenge

 Hello! Welcome to the Romance Tropes Legacy Challenge! (based on the Book Tropes Legacy Challenge by @callmerunaa)

This is a ten generation legacy challenge featuring many elements from popular fiction tropes involved to make your sims’ love stories as unique (or stereotypical) as you wish!

Notes: –This challenge was inspired by @callmerunaa on Instagram and pinterest.  However, many of the generations are altered/changed completely to fit some of my personal preferences for gameplay style and I just thought I’d create a google document of my own way of playing. –If you do play through these generations, please note that because of the nature of the sims,  some of the generations will require some ~imagination!~  Due to this, the story is definitely more… “storyline” based. 

–Not every generation has required aspiration/traits/skills to learn/ or jobs. For many of them, I have “No Requirement” if it is not important for the character’s story. You are free to choose your own based on the character and how you perceive their life continuing on. Even if I have provided certain aspirations, you are not stuck with this if it is not what you feel is right for the character. You are therefore free to change any aspect of the challenge to suit you and your gameplay style.

–The last two generations DO include occult gameplay. However, I may be including alternate versions if playing with occults is not your thing/ you would like to keep your gameplay more realistic.

Generation I: (High School Drama || Love Triangle || Opposites Attract)

World: Copperdale

Aspirations: Goal Orientated/Best Selling Author

Traits: Geek

Job: No Requirement

You hear your mother shout up the stairs that the bus is almost here and it’s time for school. You throw your hair in a messy bun and quickly finish getting ready before rushing down the stairs. Despite the full breakfast of eggs, pancakes, fruit, and bacon laid out on the table, you stuff a piece of toast in your mouth and fly out the door wishing your mom goodbye. Now it’s off to high school where you don’t exactly have many friends. You are captain of the chess team though, so at least you have that going for you. Unfortunately it does not do much in the romance department. You also have a huge crush on the football quarterback and honestly who wouldn’t? They’re so dreamy. But they’d never notice you. And then there’s the cheerleading captain who hasn’t always been the nicest to you. However, when you get paired with one of them for a school project, drama ensues…

Objectives: –Start as a teenager

–Have a negative friendship with the cheerleading captain and a crush on the football team captain.

– Become Chess Team Captain

– Get paired with one of them for a group project and from there… let drama ensue.

In the city, your life is busy all the time. You don’t have time for friends or relationships and are instead looking forward to advancing in your career. You are adamant about keeping focused and not letting anything sway you from your goal. With the holiday season quickly approaching, you can’t help but roll your eyes at the festivities. Who cares about this corporate, capitalistic holiday anyway? Bah humbug! However, after your parents convince you to take a break from work and come back to your hometown for a few days, you meet an old flame, and they show you the true meaning of the holidays. Will whatever it is between you two survive past the holidays?

Objectives: –During your teenage years while completing the ‘drama llama’ aspiration, have the sim you break up with be the sim that shows up later in the challenge. 

– Gain the ‘wokaholic’ lifestyle in the city.

–Don’t have a romantic relationship with anyone while in San Myshuno. You can have hookups and friends, but nothing serious. Remember, your job is your life!

–Have a ‘second-chance’ romance with the sim from your teen years that you broke up with.

–After your holiday romance is over, decide if it will continue or it was just not meant to be. From here, you can decide to either become a single parent, either through a mistake or through adoption, or continue to be with the person and have a happy life together.

Now that you’re raising your child all by yourself, you’re trying to do everything you can to be a good and supportive parent. How quickly they grow up! Some part of you can’t help but miss your little baby. Learning all of these shapes and numbers, letters and animals from the perspective of a child really makes you fall in love with the world again after major heartbreak. Old memories of you and your happy days with your partner and child haunt your dreams. Even though you told yourself you would never love again, you can’t help but long for that sense of companionship and love. However, by some chance, you happen to find someone you just click with instantly. The two of you become fast friends and you find you don’t want to be around anyone but them (except your child). Low and behold, the butterflies you thought you would never meet again have found themselves nestled deep in your stomach.

Objectives: –Lose your partner somehow after having one child together (if it's multiples that's fine).

  –Go all out for all holidays and always make sure your child always feels included.

–Have a great relationship with your child.

– Don’t have a romantic relationship until your child is at least a toddler. You can wait however long afterward to start a relationship with your partner, but your child must have a good relationship with them first.

– You are more than welcome to have more children with your new partner but it is not an obligation.

Spouse Reqs.: –Your first partner must leave your life after your child(ren). Either death or a divorce. Either way, they are not in your life. 

–Your second partner must become a friend before a lover and have a good relationship with your child.

Generation IV: (Workplace Rivals to Lovers || PR Relationship || One Night Stand)

Forced to put aside your differences and play the part of smitten lovers for the public eye, you reluctantly agree, knowing that your careers hang in the balance. Objectives: –As a child, join the drama club and remain until your graduation.

–After graduation, immediately move to Del Sol Valley and begin your life as a poor, struggling actor/actress.

–As you work your way up the acting career and have at least 4 stars of fame, begin a “secret romance” with a co-worker whom you do not have good compatibility with, encouraged by the PR Team. Of course this will take some creativity with the sims but you should play this however you have the means to!

– Have a one night stand with said co-worker and let feelings ensue.

–Whatever happens after this one night stand is really up to you. If you decide to continue with the relationship and make it official, kudos! If you decide it doesn’t mean anything and you’re better off apart and with another celebrity that’s fine too!

–Put a celebrity tile down on the Walk of Fame

Spouse Reqs.: – Must be a co-worker/ have at least four stars of fame.

Child Reqs.: –Have at least two children (at least one boy who is not the heir)

Generation V: (Brother’s Best Friend || Unexpected Feelings || Slow Burn)

After a while though, their quirks become endearing and their laugh infectious. You eventually find yourself drawn to the very person who once drove you up the wall. Despite your resolve, love – or something like it –eventually finds its way into your heart until it's undeniable. –Once you and your roommate act upon these romantic feelings, it is up to you to decide how to proceed.

–From here, your life is uprooted. You are no longer surrounded by your own family and friends but are instead  whisked into the life of a mafia wife where danger awaits at every turn.

– You are now in a forced/arranged marriage to the mafia boss/’ son. This relationship is up to [the player]. Whether he is cold on the outside/warm on the inside, actually kind of a himbo, or actually kind of an a-hole, however you take the story will certainly be interesting.

– If you decide to stay in the mafia after the birth of your child is up to you. They could be protected by their mafia family and raised in the mafia life, or you could whisk them away from the dangers of growing up in this family. Many different factors can affect this.

–However, your child must still have an essence of their father. How deep this goes is up to the player.

– No matter how you play this out, your first child (the heir) must grow up SPOILED.

Spouse Reqs.: –Must be the son of a mafia boss/must become the mafia boss.

Child Reqs.: –Must have at least one child with the above spouse who will become the heir for the next gen. They do NOT have a good relationship with their father. 

–They are spoiled rotten.

–However you decide to have children after that is up to you.

–Have something occur that lands you into trouble, where your bodyguard must come save you from the danger.

–From here, have some sort of relationship blossom between the two of you.

Aspiration: Drama Llama/No Requirement/Any of the Vampire Aspirations

Job: Any sort of artsy job: writer, painter, photographer, mixologist, comedian

You’d never had many job prospects or really even any life prospects as you settled into becoming a young adult. You have a job but it isn’t anything permanent, or really anything you could make a living off. Thankfully your family is comfortable enough to support you. You find that you just don’t have the passion for anything. Everything is too corporate. Too boring. The one place you could escape to, however, is your music. The sweet melody of playing an instrument gives you the ability to lose yourself and forget all of your problems for a while. You decide, with much encouragement from your parents, to pursue a degree in fine arts. Then, in the darkened corners of the library, you meet them: a captivating stranger whose gaze holds ancient wisdom and a hunger you can’t quite place. As your bond deepens, you are whisked away to a small town– the bloodsucker’s home. Here you navigate the complexities of their world including politics and the unfortunate circumstance of you being human. However, after being invited to a masquerade ball to welcome you to the town, you find yourself surrounded by those who are much more interesting than the humans you grew up with and a world where vampiric intrigue and desire runs rampant. –Gain romance with the one member who keeps getting underneath your skin and see where the romance takes you.

If you're still taking requests rn, could I get some headcanons for Mitsuru Kirijo with an S/O who joins SEES (probably like, relatively early on, you can start at whatever exact point you think would work best tho) and they fall in love and start dating over the course of working and fighting together? (If requests are closed feel free to ignore this, that'd be my bad lol)

Things do feel a lot easier with four of you in SEES. She also likes how close you and her are as friends. It's obvious Akihiko and Shinjiro are close friends but sometimes she feels left out from them so she's happy to have you.

Mitsuru has sat with you and talked late in the night about different strategies to use your powers. She's also been the one to help you study too since she believes you should all still strive for good grades too.

She was close to you originally but after Shinjiro left, you became like an anchor to her. It was a horrible night and she needed someone to cry with since Akihiko wanted to go on a jog or punch some punching bags to get his feelings out.

She doesn't even know when her feelings towards you go from friendly to crushing. She has read magazines and books with that sort of thing and found it silly. When she realizes her feelings, she finds it silly too. Mitsuru doesn't say anything though, thinking it will be just a crush and fade.

Except it doesn't and only grows stronger. It's only after she's at school and a classmate asks her about her relationship status that her eyes drift over to you to see if you're listening. Mitsuru does ask if you could join her in her dorm after school.

It goes a lot smoother than she thought. She was prepared for it to be nerve-wracking or lead to heartbreak like the books and magazines list out. Instead, it feels nice and comfortable to rest her head on your shoulder and lean on you after you both agree to begin dating.

Akihiko is the first to learn of your relationship and he is happy for you two. He was worried he'd need to be a protective older brother for when you both did seek a partner, so it's a relief that you choose each other. (he later fills Shinjiro in and Shinji is also happy for you both).

I've decided to start taking one day of the week to post a question, a coloring page and/or a worksheet (or maybe a few!) for you all to do if you'd like! I'll try to make them themed!! :D

Sandbox

This one might be better suited for bigger kiddos depending on how complicated the pictures are.

There's a free app I use called Sandbox which is basically a mobile coloring book! You can find all sorts of coloring apps and sites online, but I've really liked using Sandbox.

Unfortunately, I don't think I can share the pages I do, but I'd be happy to screenshot and share them with you all if you want to try and find them to do them with me!

It's free to download, and there's also a premium option.

This is what it looks like when you open the menu! You can scroll up or down, try the pictures at the top, or tap the circles in the bottom left of each picture to show you more pictures of that type! If I find a cat picture, but I want to find an easier one/one that will take less time to make, I can tap the circle and find more cat pictures!

To fill the squares, you tap the color you want to start with, zoom in to find the square with that color's number (it will be shaded when selected!) and tap to color each square, or double-tap to fill a whole space.

If you go into the settings, you can set it so double-tapping also fills squares/spaces diagonal to the one you tap.

Once a color at the bottom has the stripes over it, that means you've filled all the squares of that color.

You can share the pictures or download them once you're done, and if you tap the green checkmark up in the top right, it'll show you a quick version of you coloring it!

Once you're back on the home menu, you can swipe right to see the pages you've made, or swipe left to make pixel art of your own!

One thing I didn't picture here was that little gray bar above the colors when you're working on a drawing- if you drag that up, it'll pull up a menu of a color wheel/array you can use to pick custom colors for each number!

Hello everyone! I am pleased to share a great event we had in our Comrade Coe's Spouses discord server for Valetine's Day!

This server is full of wonderful creatives who all share one thing in common, our love for Starfield. Okay...maybe two and our love for the bisexual single dad space cowboy! We love to support each other in our creative endeavors and to showcase this this post is going to have all the pieces from our Valetine's Day Art Trade!

Each person who signed up was randomly paired with another. We had a channel to fill out a small form of what they preferred, what they were willing to create, and their do's and don'ts in receiving other creations! We allowed about 8 weeks for people to discuss, plan, and create their own masterpieces!

Our server is always open for incoming members and there are only a few things that you need to know before requesting to join.

You almost died. Sam's grateful you're alive.

“Wait until Constellation hears about this,” you say, accompanied by a shaky laugh. “I wonder if they’ll even believe us.” He shakes his head. “They should, they don’t have to. We were there. We survived. You survived. That’s all that matters in my book.” His realism brings your gaze to the table, though a swirl of gratitude rises in the back of your mouth, coming out in a weak smile. This was nice. Peaceful, but not enough. There was still untouched territory to discuss. You lift your head, eyes soft and sincere. Unsure. “I wouldn’t be here without your help, Sam.” A pink flush spreads across his cheeks as he smiles. Averting his gaze, his pupils dart across the wall, and you notice they focus on nothing in particular. He shuts his eyes, and you suspected he was replaying the evening. You cock your head, curious. If you could pry open the contents of Sam Coe’s brain, you would, and you would soak up everything about that man, a fact you hadn’t truly believed until tonight.

She chuckles and he chooses not to engage any longer. He’s been toyed with enough. Even if that’s what they do. Argue and bicker. Pull their claws and bare their fangs until eventually he walks away with enough of his pride beaten down, dragging his ego behind him a little broken and worse for wear. It happens often enough that he can’t say he always comes out the winner. But he is weary of the game today. He wants to be nice. Try to be nice. He is determined to be nice. Another step and he reaches around her head and tugs at the blindfold. The knot unravels. Unfurls. He removes it in one smooth motion, tossing it to the floor. Then he thumbs her chin, tilting her head up to get a good glimpse of her. He gazes into her citrine eyes. The warm glow from his hanging lamp, hovering over the tall snake tongued leaves of the sansevieria in the corner of the room, reflects off her irises and they glimmer and shine just like a gemstone. Thoughts waxing poetic, he blinks them away before he speaks them aloud. “I wanted to surprise you.” He releases her chin.

Do you know about the Marchil h-doujin, just called "Marchil Meshi"? (Dunno wether you're comfortable about adult content regarding the ship. If not, sorry and feel free to ignore).

Imagine my surprise… When a few months ago, I was looking up places to buy doujins for dunmeshi online bc of that new-ish laimar (sfw) doujin and I find, many many nsfw ones bUT AMONGST THE HORDE… MARCHIL MESHI. I ate it up. It’s a lil iconic to me ngl, I quote it in my head sometimes. Marcille angrily gesturing always gets me cackling. It honestly has no business being this good, it was made pretty early on in the story so many years ago, and STILL! So in character, and honestly so funny, AND no weird business either. Like listen, I scour the internet, looking for any marchil content, any marchil content at all… And find a dry af desert, no life here, literally jackshit nothing. Only Pixiv has some afaik but the nsfw is def… Hm. 😔 (2 fics tagged chirumaru on there btw!! That aren’t mine lol) Thank you marchil meshi author if I had to pick 1 piece of marchil nsfw to exist I’d choose this one (honestly that’s already so close to reality lol) Thank u Asaki Takayuki I owe u my life. I like zines but I’ve never bought doujins before so it didn’t cross my mind, but dunmeshi is taking a lot of my first times in fandom engagement and I bought said laimar doujin just the other day hehe 

I do want to keep my blog generally sfw but yes I’m 100% cheering on nsfw marchil content from the shadows, glad that ao3’s finally getting some too. I hope that fic writer makes more… Tallman Chil is so so good but I hope they also do some more general premises, which the end notes on that one do make me hopeful 👀 I want more marchil writers in general. Oh while I’m here, I find this so funny/odd, but in japanese fandom ship names are simply the beginning of each name smushed together, like marchil or chilmar. The order of the names is that the first one is the "top"… Idk how jp fandoms live without switches but aight, but in m/f ships this means that typically the man is the first half of the ship name right. WELL WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT marchil is so much more used than chilmar lmaoo. Even more stats: On Pixiv, the tag marchil had all the artworks, but the chilmar tag had all the fics. 🍓 How did you get into writing fanfiction?

Sooo around September last year I read The Right Thing to Do, and then the Auction by @lovesbitca8, and then a million more Dramione fanfics. Pair this with listening to Taylor Swift constantly and the Draco and Hermione living rent-free in my mind started acting out new scenarios. Originally started writing a Dramione Hogwarts -era story but got really distracted by my WIP Timeless which was semi-inspired by @pacific-rimbaud 's Love and Other Historical Accidents -- 200k words, ~6 fic ideas, and 10 months later, Dramione/Taylor Swift is my entire personality

🍇How many fandoms have you written in?

Just Dramione idk if I would write in any others - my mind is v consumed by them so there's definitely not space in there for anyone else rn lol

🍈How many years have you been writing fanfiction?

Not years yet lol but I remember I was writing fanfiction back in October 2023, so since then.

🍎Do you read or write more fanfiction?

Definitely read more than write bc it's so much easier. The amount of time it takes to read something vs writing it is actually horrible. I also find reading fan fiction helps motivate me to write my own fics compared to reading published books as it familiarises me with the characters again.

🍌What is one way you've improved as a writer?

I think I've improved in that I've actually kept going - can't say that I've finished something yet BUT I was working on my writing for fucking years and was so pleased when I got to 70k words and now I've written 200k for Timeless in like seven months? Fanfiction helps a lot in that the world already exists so a lot of decisions are already made for you, which is what I really struggled with when writing an original fantasy story.

🍑Do you have any bad habits as a writer?

Not finishing things? I've gotten very distracted with other ideas. Putting off writing until 9pm, finally getting into it and then having to go to bed lol

🍉What's your favourite type of comment to receive on your work?

Comments that are insightful and say something about the stories/characters that was inferred but not explicitly said - like the reader has really seen what I was going for, that is really really cool. Also love it when people tell me they've binged read it. Any comment is my favourite comment tho

🍋What is something you've been too nervous/intimidated to write, but would love to write one day?

I have some vague ideas about other characters in the HP universe, Ron for example, but I'm nervous/intimidated about getting his character right. I feel like I really understand Draco and Hermione but other characters I find a lot harder so that's really intimidating to me.

🍇What made you choose your username?

Two of my favourite Taylor Swift songs at the time of needing to make a username in order to start posting my Timeless fic, gold rush and renegade both of which are super Dramione coded to me

Do you make your bed? —I do - or I try to, I feel better when it's done and it makes me feel like I can move on with my day 🫡 Exceptions are for when I'm late, but then I would do it before going to bed!

Favourite number? — 5 (but 3 or 7 also work) (I like odd numbers in general)

What's your job? — I quit my job a few weeks ago sooo at the moment unemployed fanfic writer I guess 🤠

If you could go back to school, would you? — I think so! I would love to go back to study something I really like without the pressure of earning the degree since I already have one, and then take the time to actually learn and discuss the topics rather than to focus on grades.

Can you parallel park? — In theory, yes, I can. In practice... maybe? I don't drive often, so when I have to park I try to make it as easy as I can for myself (so not parallel park)

Do you think aliens are real? — Yes, I think it'd be quite sad if we were the only form of life in the universe

What movie(s) do you adore? — Oh! Lords of the Ring trilogy is my absolute fave of all time, then the Ghibli movies, Pride & Prejudice (2005), and I cannot think of others at the moment although I'm sure there's at least like 20 more haha

Skill I'd like to learn — Drawing! I've just started to take art classes and I'm super motivated (and to finally be able to draw all my Tavs! and their partners hihi)

Best advice — trust yourself and do things for yourself first and foremost (drawing, writing, etc etc); don't try to match people's expectations and do things at your own pace, life's not a race :)

Currently watching — waiting for Bridgerton part 2, so in the meantime I'm rewatching the classic period drama movies (P&P, Emma, etc.)

So without further ado, I am pleased to introduce you to...

Oft-Forgotten, Argonian sneak thief. Or, would be, really, if he was any good at sneaking or thieving. He uses a two-handed war hammer, which, in hindsight, is the perfect weapon for sneak attacks, come to think of it.

He's a nice green lizard man. Generally cool and collected. Tries to befriend everyone around him, but bless his heart, when he tries to talk to others he accidentally steals things off their counters every single time. In full view. He can't really help it. In this way, every Hold has bounties in the books for him for petty theft and/or destruction of property. The guards kind of recognize him, but can't be too sure. They say "Hey, I know you?" and then when Oft tries to pay his fines, they just say "Hmm? Need something?" and so, the crimes just kind of linger, unresolved.

He'll follow you, too, if you ask, but has a tendency to wander off. Sometimes he complains about how gross caves and/or Nordic ruins are in broad daylight in the middle of the street. Maybe he has unresolved trauma regarding things like this -- it's hard to say. When you ask him, he's often prone to get caught up in your hit box, fall over and drag unceremoniously behind you by some kind of odd force you can't quite explain. Almost as if stuck to your shoe. He recovers upon fast travel.

Oh and don't get me started on Giants. He's prone to trying to befriend them, too, but considering he sort of always brandishes his war hammer no matter where he's walking, they...take him as a bit of a threat. How he's survived blows from Giants that launch him so far up in the sky it's hard to say when he'll be back down is beyond you, but he gets up, brushes it off, and rushes off to continue adventuring, no harm done. He must have the favor of some Gods, or is exceedingly well preserved by the Hist. You're not exactly sure how that works, anyway.

He's not one for walking off the beaten path, though. You once climbed to the Throat of the World, assuming your friend was behind you the whole way, only to find he'd disappeared at some unknown point. Choosing not to reload your save to when you last remembered him being there -- for some strange reason, you can't remember how long ago that was, really -- you trek all the way back down to Ivarstead and find him under the bridge in the river, face crushed to the bricks. You try to talk to him, but somehow he warps through the solid structure until you can only see some nostrils and the edge of a horn. This, too, resolves with fast travel.

Regardless of his...weirdness, at least you can rely on him for good conversation. You think. You're not really sure. Every time you try and recall a detail he's said, the only thing you can remember is battle cries, and those comments about caves and ruins. You turn around, recalling this and find he's gone again. Maybe he actually is a good sneak thief and you've just forgotten.

Siblings: Gratienne Clairière (younger sister by 18 months)

Grandparents: The Clairières (maternal grandparents) lived in Mor Dhona where Ariane grew up until age 12, and she knew them as a child. Their family has roots in Gridania some generations back (Clairière being a very Gridanian name). This does not result in Ariane being seen or accepted as Gridanian when she arrives there as an adventurer, and while she is probably closest to "Gridanian Elezen" culturally (more so than Ishgardian, certainly), she doesn't think of herself as Gridanian. Gratien's family is from Somewhere Else; he rarely spoke of them and Ariane and Gratienne never knew them.

In-laws and Other: So far, Ariane has never married; Count Edmont told her after Haurchefant's death that he had intentions of proposing to her, and that he would have been proud to call her a daughter and would always consider her family. Urianger's parents, of course, are Not Around; Ariane is shyly getting to know Moenbryda's parents and wishing she had known their daughter better. She has a gaggle of "siblings" she's picked up along her adventures: Alphinaud and Alisaie, Arya, Sylphie. It's taken a long time but now, at the end of Endwalker, the Scions do feel like family to her. She's closest to Urianger and the twins, but does also have a particular bond with G'raha and Y'shtola and Thancred because of what they all went through in the First--though it's a bond that takes a different form with each of them and I'm so tempted to ramble about that but I'll save it for another post. ;)

Pets: Marshmallow, her fat cat.

Abilities: She's a healer first and foremost, and at the moment, she's primarily focused on honing her skills as a Sage. But she's also had a bit of a return to white magic after a long time away--conjury was her first love in the arcane, but her failure to save Haurchefant made her feel like white magic had let her down when she most needed it, and she had put it aside for a long time, choosing to branch out into other schools of magic both protective and destructive, though she will always return to healing. She dabbles in various physical combat to keep herself fit. (Lyse scolded her in Stormblood for being unable to throw a punch, and started training her as a pugilist. She picked up a sword and shield in honor of Haurchefant. Thancred gave her some training with a gunblade in the First.) But she'll always be a mage first.

Hobbies: Your girl loves books. They were the one place her imagination could run free during her isolated childhood. A perfect afternoon to herself involves a good book, a cup of tea, and curling up on the sofa with Marshmallow, probably with Urianger somewhere nearby with his own cup of tea and his own reading. She also really loves gardening, and finds even the most complicated seed crossing a relaxing retreat from her day job. Recently, she has taken up painting as well, though she'd be the first to admit she's not very good at it, but it's fun to try and recreate some of the sights that have taken her breath away in her travels. And she loves music, listening as well as making it, though she'd never consider herself a performer; music for her is an act of community.

Grani was her mount in the First, and came home with her; the six-legged Arion is also a favorite.

do you play as an inkling or octoling ? Octoling, because of the lore and Surfcurl hairstyle :) Inklings will always have a special place in my heart from the earlier games though.

whats your multiplayer lvl ? + whats your favorite game mode ? Don't bully mee... 34. Favourite game mode has to be Anarchy Battles (Open only with my friends), with Salmon Run being a close second!

whats your anarchy rank ? do you play competitively if so what division are you in ? S+ rn. I tried to play comp, but it wasn't for me. Turns out what I actually wanted wasn't to play competitively, but to have a team!

whats your main/favorite weapon ? The Nautilus 47! I hope we get a new kit, because Point Sensor is NOT it.

what weapon class do you play ? Not actually Splatlings lmao, Naut is special to me because of its charge hold. The other classes I like are Wipers, Dualies and some Shooters!

do you dress for gear abilities or style ? Both!! I worked very hard on grinding viable abilities onto my favourite fit haha

favorite ranked mode ? This is difficult. Clam Blitz has gotten kind of fun, even in soloq which is crazy! Rainmaker is also pretty neat.

favorite hero mode ? Obviously RotM. It might be a little too by-the-book of Octo Expansion (which isn't a hero mode), but it's still the best by quite a bit.

favorite ink color/ink color combos ? Here they are!!

what splatoon game did you start on ? and or when did you start playing ? Splatoon 2, but quite late unfortunately. I picked it up just before the Final Fest!

favorite piece of gear ? Can't say. I just love how there's so many good ones to choose from lmao

what was your most memorable splatfest ? Final Fest, because it was my first (lmao 😅) and because of its awesome stage and dialogue!

any kits you want to come back to splatoon 3 ? Nautilus 79, duh. I have no other strong opinions! xD

what is your favorite weapon/kit in all of splatoon ? I want to say Nautilus 79 but I enjoyed a lot more kits so I really can't say. Gonna skip this question.

how many hours do you have on splatoon 3 or 2 ? Not that much xD. 125 hrs in 2, 155 hrs right now in 3. I don't spend that much time playing the game, but I spend way more obsessing over it haha

any buffs/nerfs you think are needed ? Splash's pinpoint accuracy. It's kinda screwed up the meta 😅. Not sure if it counts as a buff/nerf, but the stages HAVE to be improved. No more corridors! More flanks! More cover! More dynamic terrain! It would solve the issue with chargers without nerfing them and make the game 100x more fun.

have you read coroika aka the splatoon manga ? Yes! I haven't read the latest Splatoon 3 installment, but I'll get to it soon! Coroika fans hmu ;)

rank the splatoon games + oe best to worst Not sure how to compare an entire Splatoon game with just the Octo Expansion, but I went in terms of ✨general experience ✨: 1. Splatoon 3 - Current pinnacle of the franchise. Can't wait for Side Order, if it tops OE then it'll be the true best Splatoon game! 2. Octo Expansion - Best single player experience. Off the Hook are AMAZING. 3. Splatoon 2 - Without OE, this is still a solid game that I enjoyed a lot :) 3 definitely improves on it, though, in small ways and big ways. 4. Splatoon 1 - I haven't played it, so I'm not saying it's the worst, this is just for me. Obviously set up the foundation of an awesome series!

favorite splatoon ship ? Not really a shipper but anyone who DOESN'T ship Pearl and Marina is silly.

favorite idol group ? As above, Off the Hook :) Literally screaming for Side Order I can not stop the inner turmoil I will only be released when it comes out haha.

any splat tubers you watch ? do you have a favorite ? There are some pretty niche ones I like, but my all-time favourite is Jaymoji! Super fun to watch and his content is always interesting.
