writing this one-shot fic of mavuika and capitano is rlly grinding my gears bc ofc i'm researching a Lot about traditional "Natlan" attire, which means really diving deep into the cultures that Natlan was inspired by.

so what the fuck genshin. "Mavuika" is from Mahuika, the Maori god of fire, and then you adorn her with Aztec-themed clothes, and her home is inspired by the native American and Philippine pueblos. you really lumped all of our cultures together like it's one thing, and it would have been tolerable, but then you fucking make her as white as paper.

Hello there! Okay, so this isn't entirely scientific at all; just how I imagine them to be like when having a romantic partner based on the personalities I give them:

Sun: Would likely shy away from having a relationship due to him being a star, not wanting any instance of power imbalance. However, when in love, he looks past the person's status in life and looks into them for who they are. He would treat you with utmost care and make sure that he's not hurting you. One of the downsides is that his self-doubt could get to him sometimes, having the weight of the entire Solar System on his shoulders.

Mercury: His strong suit? Undying loyalty. As an athlete, he will look out for your health even if it means sacrificing himself for it. He's also a good cook and makes great popsicles! He may be a shy lad, but he would make tremendous efforts to master exactly how to communicate his feelings to you. Communication is one of his fortes, but conveying love may prove to be a challenge to him.

Venus: She may appear like she's not into romance, but she doesn't actually mind if she has a relationship or not. She's actually quite caring; she will not fuss over you and let you do your own thing, allowing your own independence, but she will also be the type to know your cues and be able to help you with what you need. She's a great cook and baker, and she will learn whatever recipes for your happiness.

Earth: Extremely sweet and probably one of the greenest flags out there. He may not be an intellectual, but he's emotionally intelligent than what he's letting on. He would make sure that you're comfortable at all times. And he's also the type to hold so much sentiments towards anniversaries, gifts, and any other special occasions. Very good with kids, small animals, and other people in general. The only downside I can think of is that he's likely afraid to commit so it's difficult, because he's got some past trauma to get over.

Luna: The supportive girlfriend! She will look out for you at all times, making sure that you work towards your growth. Even if sometimes you will falter, she is patient and will help you go to the right path with her. She's highly loyal but will also not be afraid to speak out her mind need be; the perfect mix of strong-willed but gentle. She will also appreciate your gifts! If you're also comfortable with it, she's open to hugs and kisses.

Mars: Tsundere. It may take a while to get him to reveal his feelings for you, but when he does, he's likely very affectionate. Not being able to support life for too long made him emotionally withdrawn, not wanting to be attached again. Being "bullied" by Jupiter also played a hand in this, being wary of people who he perceives will likely just take advantage of him. Earn his trust and reap the rewards of an affectionate sweetheart who will look out for you. Downside is he may be a jealous type due to his own insecurities, but he won't be overbearing about it. Just let him know that he's enough.

Jupiter: The serious type and a whole amount of baggage, and a busy lifestyle. He's actually afraid to be in a relationship, as he has copious amounts of self-loathing, but if you do get through him and allow him to be loved, be ready. There's no sugarcoating that it wouldn't be the healthiest relationship, but you can see him trying. He will be the type to do his best, remember anniversaries, learn everything about you, and even learn a new skill. The downside is since he's a complicated individual, he may be a little hard to read and has emotional turmoil behind closed doors. The best way to deal with that is to leave him be until he can handle himself again.

Saturn: He's the mom friend so... he looks out for you! He would definitely make sure of your safety and happiness; he wouldn't want to suffocate anyone. He's also likely very cuddly too! Likes hugs, smooches, going on cheesy romantic dates together. He's also likely to be the best handling kids and other people too, next to Earth. Careful bringing him to haunted houses though... his scream is more haunting than anything you'd see in a haunted house.

Uranus: Surprisingly caring. He's highly guarded with his emotions so he's an ice prince who's built tall walls, but once he truly cares about someone, he does give his all. Without you knowing it, he will observe you until he can read you like a book, and surprise you with affectionate gestures. Likely has flowery manners of speaking when conveying his love that he's picked up from being into Shakespeare.

Neptune: A real sweetheart! It will probably help bring out the strengths in him that he's too afraid to let out, out of fear of his own powers. He's likely awkward and not very good with conveying his emotions and would let his actions do the speaking. He's also pretty sentimental; he may be the type to remember the smallest details about you. Sometimes he could send you memes that reminds him of you and would bring you back small trinkets.

Pluto: Be Charon. Okay, supposing you're Charon: Pluto is actually the ideal partner if you have the dynamics for him. He's emotionally reserved towards most people, but that's because he's saving them for the people he loves: romantically or platonically. He's sure never to miss any anniversaries and actually plan something for them behind your back, so you'd better step up your game if you want to be ahead of him!

Do you think Solomon likes soup? If so what kind?

idk what prompted this ask, but it's so out of left field I had to answer.

Lots of soup mentioned below the cut.

Firstly, we have to establish whether or not Solomon would eat soup.

The simple answer? Yes, of course he would. If it was served to him at a fancy dinner as a side— yes, he would eat it. If you made it for him whilst he was sickly and bedridden? He would give the world back to you… or most likely he'd want to return the favor one day— huh, what do you mean you don't want him making anything? He feels better now! Hey, why are you pushing him out of the kitchen? :(

One cannot simply ask whether or not Solomon has a favorite soup or not.

Like any person, he has his preferences and whatnot. Solomon prefers the classic savory kinds of soup, as he sees the dish as more of a side or something simple you make when feeling under the weather. Sour and overtly spicy flavors are things he tends to avoid. And with his dislike of the ocean, he reads to me as someone who wouldn't be privy to having any fish or seafood in his soup. Meat or vegetable-based soups are preferred.

Though, the soup he's most caught eating would be those instant noodle packets (with an egg mixed in) that he's totally not making at three am cause he forgot to eat a while ago. Oops—

But what kind of soup specifically?

Something that reminds you of home, is a common answer. But, frankly speaking, that guy has a fucky memory, so what can he remember of home? Sure, he does remember that he did have a favorite soup in his youth, but the flavor of which was something that has been lost to time and his old man brain.

So, if Solomon no longer (or has since forgotten) a soup that reminds him of home, what could be put in place of that?

That would be something made by someone he loves dearly— now if you read that as being you or someone else in universe, I'll leave it up to reader interpretation.

Hey, if that man's childhood home is lost to time, that's life. Sure, it's a sad thing to witness, but it was bound to happen— that's just how human civilizations work, they're built up, people flourish, centuries pass by, and then a new one takes its place.

But back on the soup and Solomon calling you his new home— home is not always a place, it can be a person (actually it can be a place if you consider 'your heart' a valid location).

Something made by you (whether under duress; looking at Solomon's cooking here) is always something Solomon would like. Of course, he still takes in his own preferences, but he's lucky that you do as well.

Yes, he does tend to delegate soup to be a side dish, but at home he doesn't mind making it the main course. Perhaps it's just him, but there's just something about sharing a warm bowl of soup on a cold night and sharing that with your beloved that… strikes him, makes him feel soft in side, and has a smile spreading across his lips as he takes in the moment.

Maybe it's the homemade soup making him feel all warm inside. Maybe it's the private company he's sharing with meal with. He'll never know. What Solomon does know, however, is that, he doesn't mind having soup if it's made by you.
