Ok, the boss is no more! There were some super stressful moments but surprisingly we all survived o:
My animal companion got hit with disintegrate, but we had hero points to make him avoid it. I would cry actually, because disintegrate means no resurrection x_x
The war is prevented! At least this one, because Cayden's party is right at the center of a much bigger one just starting. Today we saved the country. Cayden is trying to not even save the whole world, just maybe slow the whole thing down and save as much people as possible...
#majek says shit#I have the diamond for a raise animal companion spell but it can only be used if you have a body and even then there are restrictions#and Kela wouldn't even know about it until after the fight because she got trapped between a wall of force and a stone golem?#or a stone Big Humanoid Fucker idk what that technically was but it would've killed me pretty fast#and it all was in an area of supernatural darkness emanating from the powergamer's character...#which interfered with so much of everyone else's actions and we even addressed it before the session that it's a bad idea to cast this#but its ok because HE will be able to see through it and HE won't be targeted easily:))))#he also almost ended the encounter in the first round of proper combat...#by using mechanics so outrageous but technically ambiguous enough that our GM can't deny them by using only RAW...#and he prefers to settle arguments by going as RAW as possible...#and it wasn't a problem until now when we have a player who exploits to an actually unbelievable extent#we shared our character sheets online yesterday and I finally saw his... still have no idea how the character works#because like half the stuff is custom and missing from the app#he has 9 AC in the app and allegedly 32 AC before buffs...#and the GM says the math checks out but 1. nobody saw that math besides him and 2. so far he trusted that player without too much questions#and only recently he actually realised he's been manipulated multiple times when me and some others started dismantling that players actions#I so hope this was the last session with that person#the worst thing is I think he's an ok guy when I'm not playing any kind of game with him#and I understand different people find enjoyment in different aspects of games - his being figuring out how far he can go with the rules#and there are whole groups of people who like to play like that and enjoy the challenge of making the most broken “build” possible#but the rest of the group are not that kind of people. maybe some like to have fun with researching what's possible#but it's never the purpose of the game and these things dont find their way into the actual game#I'm actually considering the possibility of just leaving the campaign if he stays there... I know I whine a lot in the tags#about different players that get on my nerves for various reasons. it sounds like I'm never happy about anything#but our group is big and we play together as a friend group in 4 different campaigns now (I'm in 3 of them)#and every one of these smaller groups has it's issues. sometimes it's the characters not matching and sometimes different expectations#or interpersonal stuff that can be worked out. this here is not a group composition issue because the powergaming attitude is everywhere#it's impossible to talk casually between sessions and confronting the guy leads to like actual temper tantrums#literally said “the fuck do I care if the party dies I'm not gonna be useful anymore” after the GM gave him feedback to maybe ease it up#he never says things like that when the gm or me are present but we still get info. he just can't be confronted by the gm like that

To be honest and these are all personal interpretations but Sun has always read as kind of more on the sassy and short-tempered side to me, he’s never been fond of letting people move around too freely, from the start he’s always made sure things work a particular way and you go in a particular place and he’s always been super pernickety about how and where things should go and how they should work, he’s always been panicky like that for as long as we’ve seen him because he’s endlessly stressed and has a million things to take care of otherwise he’ll get in trouble and if he’s referencing keeping the lights on he has Moon to hold at bay too and has likely seen the terrible outcome of not keeping Moon in check given the way he panics so much in response to any chance the lights might go out. The implications that he knows how limited his ability to fix the problem is and yet so desperately wants to but is left basically helpless at the mercy of the lights going off at any given time is also pretty horrific and it’s no wonder he has some issues trusting others to keep themselves out of danger with that in mind.
I don’t think he’s massively different personality-wise between games, just the circumstances are different and he is under varying levels of stress in each setting which is contributing to how much or little he may be acting out or trying to control what’s going on around him (and if the daycare has been shut for a while in Security Breach he’s got an extra good reason to want to keep a new friend around despite the potential danger because he must be going stir crazy).
Also I don’t think Sun is particularly mean or a bully, I think he has his reasons to get snarky with people who are going out of their way to mess up in his space and he already has enough on his plate as it is, the guy is trying his best. I think his enthusiasm and creativity is genuine and he is sincerely trying his best but to be honest in the FNAF franchise not a single character has really been programmed perfectly to do their job in all scenarios and I don’t think he’s any exception to that. However I also think you can feel free to write anything off in fanon as being due to the virus, or due to circumstance, and basically end up with whatever version of the character sparks joy. Fanon is fanon after all, we’re all just guessing here and that isn’t a bad thing.

Rare But Not So Rare Sonic Moments
Flaws
This may get controversial.
Tumblr media
I welcome anyone else’s view point on this topic. If you don’t agree I’m okay with that. Just because I have a different perspective doesn’t make what I think right or wrong. You don’t have to change your mind. Whatever your opinion is, I respect it. Besides, it’s fun to have different views on something we both love. It gives us a way to see different sides of the coin.
Disclaimer: I’m a person who didn’t grow up with this franchise and only recently got into in early 2022. I have no biases towards any version of this character. Making my opinions about his characterizations mixed.
By the way, I’ll only use Sonic games as examples (for the most part) because this analysis would be too long if I talked about other medias.
In short. Most of his flaws do stir into different medias as well. To be honest, Sonic’s other variants aren’t as different as some may think, but that’s my hot take.
Times The Blue Blur Messed Up
Riders: Sonic lunched Amy along with Eggman into the air with his wind abilities. While knowing Amy’s safety would be at risk. Then left her. Which was the reason she was so angry and aggressive afterwards. He didn’t ever apologize either.
06: Exchanged a chaos emerald for Elise even after Tails warned Sonic not to.
Tumblr media
Unleashed: Was distracted by taunting Eggman.
Sonic: “Well, this is new. Showing remorse Eggman? If you played nice, I wouldn’t have to break all your toys.”
Then became the Werehog. All because he wanted to boost his ego.
Secret Rings: Shahra used Sonic to collect the world rings for Erazar Djinn. Even though it should’ve been expected because she said, “They use to work together.” Ended up not being true.
Black Night: Was tricked into helping Merlina who wanted to create a world that would last forever.
Lost World: Tails once again tried to warn Mr.Impatient about the conch in Eggman’s hand, but kicked it anyways. Then warned Sonic about another trap, he didn’t listen, ended up getting the fox captured instead.
Frontiers: Accidentally helped free The End despite Knuckles and Sage’s suspensions. If his friends, Eggman, and Sage didn’t help him…..Well, it’s in the villain's name.
Side Note: In Secret Rings, Black night, and Frontiers Sonic was rude at points.
Sonic Sassiness
Sonic Sassiness Part 2
Sonic’s Overall Flaws/Mistakes
Some may be from his general characterizations throughout his history.
Sonic rushes into things without a second thought. (Impulsiveness) Sonic can be too reckless, brash, or not take situations seriously.
He’s impatient. (Which was his core trait since his idle animation in Sonic 1)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He doesn’t listen to his friends warnings. Sonic can be too cocky at the wrong moments. He causes or contributes to world ending consequences. The blue blur can also be too trusting and naive.
Tumblr media
Sonic doesn’t worry about his own physical or mental state and internalizes his emotions. He isn’t able to express himself very well. Therefore doesn’t put the right words together when speaking sometimes.
Tumblr media
Sonic can be stubborn and a bit of a jerk.
Sage: “You are short tempered and short sided.”
And that’s about it. If I missed anything, feel free to let me know.
My Thoughts
A few of these can be seen as Sonic’s strength and weaknesses. Like his willingness to harm himself if it means to save his friends.
The reason Sonic never learns from his mistakes in the games is because he gets away with them. Which is not a good or bad thing per say. (Besides Sonic Riders. There’s no excuse for that.)
The stories never really given him an arc. But I don’t think Sonic’s a perfect or flawless character. If the examples I’ve shown are evidence of anything.
I’d say he’s static, but not consistently. Most static characters I’ve seen rarely stays static anyways.
I also don’t believe Sonic himself thinks he’s perfect. Sonic probably thinks he doesn’t have to change because he’s so sure he should be able to manage things without issue. Everything does eventually go his way. Why should he change?
Tumblr media
I do understand Sonic influences people, but why can’t there be a balance? It’s been done plenty of times with other characters. In books, movies, and tv shows. Animated and live-action.
Movie!Sonic in Sonic 2 inspired both Knuckles and Tails. Helping them better themselves with advice and encouragement. While also going through his own arc of growing up and being responsible.
Tails:“You’ve inspired me. To leave my village. To find you and help you on your mission.”
Tumblr media
Despite him learning how to slow down and plan things out, Prime!Sonic also inspires the different variants of his friends. Thorn, Dread, and Nine. Helping them grow into becoming better people.
Tumblr media
Even in Unleashed Sonic was at his most mature, but it was only after his cocky attitude got him into trouble. So, yes. Inspirational characters can have flaws.
I’ll just say this
Everyone has their own views on how Sonic should be characterized, drawn, played, voiced, animated, and showcase.
It’s fine if you don’t like a curtain interpretation of a character, but to say the character (Especially if they weren’t very consistent in the first place) isn’t acting like themselves now, it’s really hard to argue what self there is to come back to. Because even in the games there are so many different selves for these characters in their own canon universe. From Classic to Adventure, Unleashed, Colors, and Frontiers. (If that makes any sense)
It’s hard to find one place to be in because Sonic’s been in too many places at once. He shouldn’t be held down to one characterization if he’s already been all over the place from the beginning of his existence.
AKA Sonic’s first two shows ever. TAOSTH and SATAM. In both shows Sonic had flaws as well, but never learned from them. Which means he’s been like this from the start. Like everything else about this franchise, his personality is an ongoing experiment that’ll probably never be solved. And I kind of love that. Even if it can be stressful and has it’s own up’s and down’s
All of these unique stories from the games, comics, tv shows, and movies people grew up with are what made this franchise so popular. This is the main reason I became a Sonic fan. Because I learned so much about characterization from this franchise and how to love the different variations of its characters. Finding an appreciation for each of them.
Tumblr media
Conclusion
Everyone’s opinions are valid at the end of the day. At least we all have a version of this character we can love and appreciate. Whether you agree or not I’m grateful you’ve made it all the way to the end. You’re a trooper!
Stay Creative! 💜

Heyyy, I just found your writing and I love it so much 😭
I just wanted to ask for bistro huddy (idk if I spelled it right 😭) headcanons with a s/o that has anger issues. Like whenever they serve a rude costumer they can hardly contain themselves from smacking them with the turkey sandwich they ordered 😭😭. You could do whatever characters you like. You don’t have to take my request if you don’t want to btw. I don’t wanna force anything. Anyways, I hope you have a great day/night! Bye bye!!! ☺️
Heyy, I really enjoyed this one:3 sorry I’ve been gone for a while I had a very bad writing burn out. I’m gonna try and get as many done today as I can so expect more later! Hope you enjoy (none of my head canons are ever proof read so if there is a spelling mistake lmk)
Ruby, Terry, Joey, and Pickles with a S/O with anger issues
Tumblr media
ℜ𝔲𝔟𝔶 (fem reader)
💋 She definitely has anger issues too but she can keep it under wraps.
💋 Will shit talk about the Customer(s) bothering you
💋She would probably go into the freezer with you to scream about the entire kitchen staff while you scream about the customers
💋 If you ever actually flip out at a customer she would lowkey be proud, or like in awe. I don’t think she’d encourage it but also she kinda would…
💋 “I didn’t think you had that in you, kind of stupid though. I mean It was kinda hot.”
💋 There’s a reason the chefs aren’t servers…
𝕋𝕖𝕣𝕣𝕪 (Masc reader)
👔 Lets you sit in his office(? Does he even have one… I’m assuming yall) to cool off and take a breather
👔 While your there he will tell you about how he understands it’s easy to get frustrated
👔 Trust me, this man understands. He goes through it almost every day.
👔 “I tell ya love, I know. I got Tim always calling my ass for things that, I tell ya, are just plain stupid!”
👔 Lets you talk about it and will probably crack a few jokes with you to help you feel better
👔 You flip out at a customer, you best believe this man it’s taking your side. What are they gonna do, tell the manager?!
ᴊᴏᴇʏ
🍨LOSES HIS TEMPER TOO!
🍨 NOBODY is gonna treat his prince/princess like that?!
🍨 He flips out at the customer for you.
🍨 Another man who understands how idiotic people can be (despite being kinda dumb himself.)
🍨 “What the fuck are these people doing! If they gotta problem direct them to me sweetheart! Cause they could have a sandwich alright, a fucking knuckle sandwich!”
🍨 if you flip out, he would literally praise you for it, men’s glad you finally stuck up for yourself
𝙿𝚒𝚌𝚔𝚕𝚎𝚜
🍭 I don’t think he really understands why your upset when you come to the back
🍭 Once you explain he would get mad too!
🍭 How could you let them talk to you like that?!
🍭 “Let me at him!”
🍭 offers you candy to make you feel better, will give you a few hugs to help you cool off
🍭 Will take you outside to the back for a bit to breathe while he says some (stupid) sweet things to make you laugh
🍭 If it keeps happening with the same person maybe he’ll get riled up enough to confront them, probably will chicken out last second
🍭 If he finds out you flipped out, he hyped you up after, even after getting yelled at by Terry
🍭 “You did so amazing! That’ll teach them!”

Tumblr media
i've been very excited to post this but here are my ocs haha!! meet lune, cecilia, nox, and aster!
close ups, more info, and a more detailed relationship chart under the cut! this is gonna be a long post haha. there's also some more info about rowan!
Tumblr media
cecilia's twin (he's the older twin) ((by two minutes. lol))
the type to go “here to here, i’ll buy it all”
he's got a temper
possessive, devoted, and jealous yandere
people think he's a tad bit insane (and he's self aware mostly,,)
gets into fights often
“want me to kill that guy for you?” (he’s serious btw)
he’s not nice lmao, but to you he is (in his own special way of course..!)
kind of like a cat who will proudly leave dead rats and leaves on your doorstep as a gift bc it thinks you can’t hunt for yourself
hates nox LMFAO
difficult to approach at first but once you get close he won’t ever let you go.
extroverted
LOUD. someone shut him up, this mf does NOT stop yapping bro
annoying as hell and he doesn’t know that lmao
if he absolutely has to, he’ll behave. but it's... odd
constantly needs to be doing something or he’ll get bored lol
has a bit of a sweet tooth (typical)
Bastard (not literally)
played the piano when he was younger with his sister, but he hated playing it
bad terms with his family except for cecilia
huge rebellious streak
shockingly will not kidnap you! everyone already knows you’re his, and he’s yours. and he won’t let anyone get in between you two. yay..!
hates it when you don’t pay attention to him (will absolutely start sulking too)
he’s impulsive but he’s not completely reckless
you probs shouldn’t trust him too much though he has good (????) intentions lol
seems silly (debatable really) but he’s dangerous.
half of the things he says sound like jokes but trust me, he means it. he’d do anything and everything for you, don’t forget!
shockingly pouty and whiny, only in front of you though
him and cecilia have matching bracelets from when they were younger which they both wear to this day
he’s oblivious as fuck, and an idiot
Tumblr media
lune's twin (she's younger)
normal (somewhat) ((not really))
sweet and friendly
really likes giving gifts to people she cares about
jumps to conclusion and freaks out easily, but she’s subtle about it
constantly stressed (lune is her brother, so… i get it)
introverted (runs on a social battery)
says things without thinking sometimes
people pleaser
awkward as hell tbh, but it’s really not obvious because she’s good at putting on a front
kinda has the ”””””princely””””” persona (i didnt know how to describe that better lmao
has abandonment issues
girlfail tbh
hardworking
shes really protective of her loved ones
likes cute things
has issues with her family but still talks to them (lune does NOT)
on really good terms with lune, they’re very close (even though he’s a huge troublemaker that stresses the shit out of her) ((if he fucks around too much she’ll give him a good smack))
packs a good punch
SENSITIVE…
potential yandere? still not too sure if i’ll make her a fully fledged yan but she def has some of the traits lol
her and lune have matching bracelets from when they were younger! (she wears it everyday!)
she doesn’t mean to put on a front it just kinda happens automatically lmao
could kill someone... probably wouldnt tho
used to play the piano with lune, she still plays it now too (as a hobby)
Tumblr media
cunning and annoying
def the type to kidnap you
oddly sweet (???)
but also ominous as hell
docile with the one he loves
isolating and manipulative yandere
dislikes lune
nice but you can tell he’s putting up a wall (with strangers and friends)
introverted
wouldn’t put stalking past him tbh
he’s the type that wants to know everything about you.
he has a tough time interacting with others. he feels awkward in social situations
the type to go to a party and spend the whole time petting the cat in the corner (he would not go to the party in the first place tho lmao)
he’s not misunderstood tho, he just can’t socialize and doesn’t really want to
grabs the end of your shirt in an awkward situation (its kinda cute)
takes time to open up, but when he falls for you, his love is so strong, it’s almost overwhelming. so just accept him, alright?
shittiest sleep schedule known to man, like srsly, what is bro doing
this man’s brain probs short circuits every 5 minutes LMFAO go to bed you idiot
really good with his words, very convincing
loves cats
hidden piercings
careful and patient
is really good at taking care of others (but he would only wanna take care of you) you’ll let him, won’t you?
startles easily lol
Tumblr media
elf oc
ditzy and kind (to you)
bit of a mean streak (not to you!)
wants to appear princely in front of you
kinda stupid (a farce but not completely lol)
has a bit of a temper, but nothing too bad
clingy and cunning yandere
two faced
struggles with empathy (he tries, he’s not human, what’s he supposed to do!)
extroverted (?)
he’s really lonely
when he met you for the first time he was absolutely fascinated as he’s never interacted with a human being before!
BLUNT. he’s not used to convos… just give him some time!
at first it was simple curiosity, but that curiosity turned into something… deeper
he was completely alone before this, but now you’re here, and you’re going to stay, right?
is obsessed with the idea of you staying here with him forever, so why do you keep talking about going home? can’t you stay here?
but then you bring up the idea of him coming with you, well why didn’t you say that earlier! he's happy to come with you
It takes him some time to grasp certain concepts so please be patient with him, he’s not used to humans
he’s paranoid and hostile to other humans. it’s not fair, he wants all of your attention, so why is everyone trying to take you from him? he doesn’t like that everyone is getting in his way…
he’s terrified of bugs. will scream incredibly loudly if he sees one lol
he pulled you through a mirror, that’s how you ended up in his land
so if you wanna go back, just ask and he’ll take you!
gives you jewelry, expensive jewelry. (maybe he’s slipped on a ring before. haha. jk… unless..?)
prefers to stay inside your place because he really doesn’t like people who aren’t you lmao
don’t stray too far from him, okay? he’s always waiting for you
rowan (who i don't have a new drawing of rn </3 sorry!):
he absolutely hates not being a priority, so please don’t ignore him. please? he just wants you to love him.
clingy, devoted, and obsessive yandere
if you don’t reciprocate he might (unknowingly) try to guilt you into liking him back. will appear like a kicked puppy to really sell it (but it’s not an act lol he’s just like this)
at least his intentions are pure! (?????????) but is that better..?
if when (it will happen) you two end up together, he’ll give you the world if you’d asked for it
used to cut his own hair! :D (not great at it tho tbh)
very attentive and will work hard to keep you happy! just don’t forget that you’ll love only each other for the rest of your life. please don’t leave.
has tripped over nothing, will definitely happen again
Tumblr media
here's the shitty relationship chart that i rushed </3 its very ugly im sorry HAHA
i really want to clarify that NONE of them will ever hurt you physically on purpose (they might have to pay up for emotional damages tho. they have your best interest in mind ig)
also i would say that they all share some traits like being clingy, devoted, possessive, obsessive, jealous, protective, and loyal. but if i specifically wrote it, it's probs just a bit more intense... just a bit,,, haha...

I’ve seen a few recent posts about Amy’s character recently. Saying “she’s not allowed to chase Sonic is bad” or “they took her perkiness,” etc. Now, if you guys think how she’s being written is bad, then you guys should see Amy in the Fleetway comics. I read them, and much as I enjoyed her, there is very little “Amy about her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
While Amy did start off as the lovestruck girl, she would go through a lot of changes. Even though she was the newest member of the Freedom Fighters, yes Fleetway used the same name, she quickly rose to being the brains, as well as second-in-command. Whenever Sonic got pulled away on solo missions or incapacitated, which happened a lot, Amy was the one who took the lead. I do like how this Amy uses a crossbow instead of a hammer, this was before Sonic the Fighters.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And if people think Amy in IDW is bland, boy do they need a double check! While Amy did seem to have feelings for Sonic in the beginning, it would eventually dwindle completely out of existence. Nigel Kitching would later go on to say that crush might have been just to annoy Sonic. And while a lot of the characters have their own flaws, Amy pretty much has none. She’s always right, comes up with the winning strategies, sharp-witted, and hardly ever loses her cool. And all the cheerfulness and compassion Amy is usually known for is not there. Let me put it another way. You know how Amy was able to talk down Gamma and Shadow? This Amy would more than likely just shoot them with her crossbow.
I really, REALLY hate to say this, but Fleetway Amy is the one that really comes off as a Sally knock off. I like both characters, and it feels insulting to both of them to say that, but it’s true. Especially with how Deborah Tate and Lew Stringer took over for writing. Tate wanted a more level headed version for girls, but this took away anything lot that could lead to character development. Heck, even Amy’s backstory was changed. Even though she was easily captured in her first appearance, in issue #127, the origins of her pink coloring, she took down a base all by herself. This happened before she met Sonic.
Tumblr media
While I agree Amy has been very toned down from what she was in the 2000s, some of her old habits are still there. She hugs Sonic, she gets lovestruck eyes, and throws out the occasional flirt. And she still has her moments of comfort and encouragement. Like reassuring Jewel during the forest fire, She also didn’t fully trust Surge and Kit, but still wanted to give them a chance to change. Amy can even lose her temper at times, she just doesn’t direct to towards her friends.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As for her leading, she was operations commander in Sonic Forces, and she has led her own teams in various other games. But leading an entire organization, one where Knuckles was no longer co-leader, that was too much. And we didn’t have an extended enough cast established yet for someone else to take over. If you look deeper into Amy’s character of how she is portrayed now, you still see some of her old self.

AITA for repeatedly losing my temper at my kinda-friend? I (17F) have anger issues and I'm working on mitigating it, however, losing my temper always involves yelling and insulting people. Usually I think this is bad and apologize profusely when I lose control.
However, this kinda-friend (16F) who I'll call E, has absolutely no respect for other people's personal belongings, space, or time. She always grabs and plays with my things during class, or our mutual friend's items (16F), and as all three of us are artists, we carry around pretty expensive equipment. (Think Micron ink pens, Winsor & Newton paint, Derwent pencils, etc., just as reference. Thankfully no Copics lmao.)
The mutual friend will be referred to as J.
So, E has been told by both of us to stop taking our art supplies and playing with it, to the point where I'll yell sometimes, and she absolutely refuses to listen to us. She'll claim that she's forgotten what we've told her and put down the item just for her to pick it up again five seconds later. The problem is that she sometimes breaks these items or injures us - she'll play with my x-acto blade and cut me, or break J's graphite pencils, or push my watercolor palette off the desk. I've really tried to be patient about it, but it's proving to be difficult.
J is quite soft spoken, so I end up doing most of the reprimanding. E also brings up inappropriate topics that make J and I uncomfortable, as well as disturbing us when we're busy and then sulking when she doesn't get our immediate attention - once I told her three times to let me do my classwork before snapping, and E cried. She never does anything in school and hates all of our teachers, so she's pretty rude to them. All my work gets copied by her. She really annoys me, but I do feel terrible that I seem to lose control so often around E, since no one deserves to be yelled at.
However, this all came to a peak today when R (16M) and I won prizes for winning a mini-game and asking an interesting question during a seminar at school respectively; the gift was a black notebook that I didn't even like, which is an important tidbit to keep in mind. R left his gift still wrapped in his bag when he left the classroom for break time, so it was just J, E, and myself in there. Upon seeing what I had unwrapped, E went to R's bag and opened it - since all four of us are friends, we thought E was just being "jokingly" invasive as usual and were on alert, but didn't stop her.
J asked what she was doing and E said she was grabbing the gift out of R's bag. This caught my attention, so I asked why she was doing that. E told us that she wanted the book, and when J reminded her that the gift was, in fact, not hers, E said (and I wish I was kidding because this is replaying in my head in 4K HD right now like oh my god pls) "I know. It should be mine." Had she asked for my notebook, I would've given it up happily. I've got too many empty sketchbooks and notebooks at home.
I immediately stood up, but allowed J to handle the situation because I didn't trust myself not to react violently. J eventually lost her temper too and that's when I jumped in and started my yelling routine. I always feel bad whenever I do this, because it's not something I enjoy, but in this particular situation I just can't muster up the guilt? E is extremely irritating, but she tells us she has a horrible home life, so I try to be understanding. Except this was just completely intolerable. R even said that he'd predicted this would happen and to just give her the damn notebook - I vetoed that so we wouldn't enable E.
I really don't know if my reaction was overblown because I shouted a lot and said things like "you were given a brain - use it" and "you're a terrible person with no morals". It's ridiculous to say all that because it's (at the end of the day) high school drama, but I really can't understand why she acted that way. I don't know if I'm in the wrong in this situation. I wish she would listen when we tell her nicely not to do something, but even when I was blowing up at her, she was just smiling as if it was a joke. Should I apologize? I've apologized before when I lost my temper, but I have completely lost all will to be civil with her after this. The teachers are tired too - when she disappears from class or talks back, they just let her be. We can't really go to them because she'll feel betrayed and then get mad at us, which is a whole ordeal, because she's known to destroy and sabotage other people's items because of a grudge.
This is really lengthy. I apologize. I just feel terrible about the situation because I don't feel any guilt for my anger like I probably should. So, AITA?
What are these acronyms?

Can you do a junker queen X fem reader an angst but loving story so something like they get into a big fight but later that day or a few days later they talk it out and make up?
I love junkerqueen so much. Idk, I'm also just a certified tall woman enjoyer qwq. So obligatory tall women fluff at the end
As mentioned in my last post, I can write the reader as any gender. But, I'll stick with neutral just because :3 though, the reader is gonna be shorter than her definitely. I don't think any of you guys are over 7'(if you are pls hmu)
Tumblr media
You were, by nature, a pacifist. Which made living in Junkertown quite hard for you, almost bordering impossible. Everyone that could did take advantage of your kind and trusting nature.
You let in someone who said that they just needed to use the restroom and ended up kicking you out of your own shitty apartment.
This was how Odessa found you. You were teary eyed and embarrassed that you allowed yourself, once again, down on your luck because you were trying to be nice. Usually, Dez was used to seeing people being cruel. So, to see someone crying without being beaten before, was unusual. Emotion was often foreign in Junkertown, as it was a weakness. She found your unprovoked kindness unusual.
Odessa, though, understood the desire. She grew up around here. In a way, all those thieves were here community. However, she knew as good as anyone how cruel these people could be. She knew changing them was impossible. Therefore, she adapted to the environment that she was given.
You just wanted to change that environment.
When she asked you why you were crying, you weren't sure whether or not you should answer honestly. But, she was the queen and you feared further trouble. Therefore, you explained your situation to her.
At the end, she smiled and placed her hand on your shoulder.
"Hey, don't worry about them." She shrugged. "They're all boneheads. Come on, you can stay with me."
You tried to insist that it wasn't necessary. But she insisted. It got to a point where it would be disrespectful to not take her offer. Therefore, the plan was for you to stay a week. But a week became two and two became three.
Your relationship with Dez spiraled from there. She was a protective lover. She hated seeing you hurt, emotionally or physically. You gave her someone that could ground her. She knew that you wouldn't bring her anymore chaos or stress. Rather, someone to help her calm down.
And she found she recovered from nightmares better with you sleeping next to her. It reminded her that everything was, in fact, okay. Dez would just pull you a little closer, make sure you were breathing, and go back to bed.
However, your nature caused a lot of issues. You had issues with how Odessa handled things. Her hot-headed approach frustrated you and you often wished that she handled things more gently. She couldn't understand how you were able to have a passive view about everything. But luckily, it usually worked out for you two.
Usually.
Dez handled something quite abruptly. Once again, leading more with her temper than her thoughts. Though Dez would more kind than previous rulers of Junkertown, that didn't mean you approved of how she managed things.
You heard about it through some mutual friends. Another raid that Dez led instead of trying to reason with her adversaries first. It annoyed you. Dez noticed something was off with you as she was tinkering with something she found. You were sitting next to her on the couch, but you weren't watching her fiddle with the metal anymore. Rather, you were spaced out, thinking about Dez's actions.
"What's wrong with you? You look like you got some bad news or something." Odessa frowned. She really didn't like seeing you upset.
"It's nothing, Dez." Though, your tone said something completely different and she knew that.
"Don't try to lie to me. I know you too well." Odessa moved closer to you. She wanted to know so she could fight with whoever made you upset.
"I just hate how you manage things. I mean, can't you try to reason with people before going crazy? Does it always have to be violence, Dez?" You frowned. Your girlfriend was immediately quite defensive.
"Hey, I give them more than enough chances to apologize."
"That isn't reasoning. You have to try to see their perspective. Maybe you're wrong too. It's hard to tell until you try to talk to them." You insisted.
"You know as well as I do that isn't how it works around here." She crossed her arms.
"But why can't we change that?"
"You really think you are going to change the people out there?" Odessa stood up. She was getting frustrated with you. She only lived because she fought. She only got to where she was because she fought and was unforgiving about it.
"I would at least like to try!" You stood up too. The height difference between you two became apparent.
"You've been here so long. How don't you get it?" She was raising her voice at you, but not recognizing it.
"I don't wanna just accept that maybe some people are just bad." You explained, but she largely wasn't listening.
"Is that why you ended up kicked out of your own house? God, where do you think you'd be? You still think you'd be fine?" She sighed "You're being so fucking stupid!"
She wasn't making eye contact with you. Odessa didn't see you tear up. She only saw you turn around and leave. Her thinking wasn't clear, if it was, she would have gone after you.
~
You went to stay with someone that you and Dez both trusted. They listened to you ramble about your argument with Odessa. They sided with your girlfriend. They experienced the same life she did. They saw how much you struggled because of your nature.
But they still listened to you and understood where you were coming from, and they let you sleep in their small guest room for the night.
Dez went to bed angry. She thought you were being completely irrational. She told herself that she didn't care where you ended up. But, when she woke up from a nightmare, she panicked without you next to her.
She looked for you, she yelled your name. Dez couldn't rationalize with herself for a solid minute. Rather, was consumed with the worry that she lost you.
Once she calmed down, Dez sat back down on the bed. Her breathing was irregular, and her thoughts scattered. She ran a hand through her hair while she tried to figure out what to do.
She was angry at you. But she knew that there was a reason she loved your calm demeanor. She loved how calming you were especially in moments like this. She needed it. Most importantly, she had to know that she wasn't losing you.
Dez thought about where you would have ended up. She knew you well enough to know that you would have been too scared to venture too far. She also knew that you weren't bitter enough to try to fully move out.
She figured that you went to a friend's house. Odessa knocked one door after door before reaching the friend that you chose to stay with. Of course, she was immediately let in.
You weren't able to sleep that night. You kept thinking about your fight with Dez. You worried about if this was going to be the end. Thoughts like that made it impossible to sleep.
The Queen knocked on the spare bedroom door.
"Come in." You said just loud enough to be heard. She immediately opened the door.
"y/n, come on. Can you come home please?" You sat up. It was the most desperate that Dez ever sounded.
"Are you still mad at me?" Your voice was soft.
"Can you please just come?"
~
The walk home was silent. But she did watch over you. Luckily there weren't many people out at this time of night. If they were, they recognized the Queen from afar and tended to stay away. She was just centered on getting home.
She opened the door for you. You assumed that the rest of the night was going to be quiet too. But, as soon as she shut the door, she grabbed your arm.
"Babe, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be so rude to you." Odessa frowned. "I just was upset. I didn't think you were wanting to understand. I grew up where my personality means not getting taken advantage of. It means getting what you need and getting access to what you want." Dez shook her head "But I like how you are."
"It's okay, Dez. I wasn't being the nicest either."
"But you didn't call me stupid." She stepped forward, the height difference between you and her became apparent once more. "I like that you talk soft and always try to see the best in others. It's cute." Odessa shrugged. "But if I'm not the way I am, you are going to get hurt again. I just wanted you to get that this isn't me being mean. It's just the say it is.
There was a long pause before she spoke again. "Are you gonna be mad at me?"
You looked up at her. You realized you are likely the only person that the Junkerqueen Queen would ever apologize to.
"No. I understand that you didn't mean it, Dez." You smiled. Odessa put her arms around you and picked you up. She carried you like this back to your shared bedrooms. She slightly threw you onto the bed. But you both shared exhaustion.
She laid next to you and put her arms around you. You smiled, feeling better that you had the queen to protect you while you slept. She pulled you close to her. Odessa observed that you were breathing and that comforted her. She gave you a kiss on your jawline.
"I love you. Even when I don't show that the best."

Dogtooth x Reader Headcanons!!!
Tumblr media
Headcanons I made of Dogtooth. I had made it for myself but I wanted to post it here since there are almost no Boisvert headcanons here on Tumblr. I love Dogtooth so much, so this is kind of a gift for all the people who like him like I do!
_____________________________
Affection? Yes.
Dogtooth shows affection through physical touch. He doesn't know much about affection, but he tries to show it to you, even if it's difficult for him. He gives you things he finds lying around, wondering if you'll like them, even if the "thing" he's picked up is very bad.
He also loves it when you pet him. At first he didn't understand petting, he thought it was something hurtful and always tried to defend himself, but you've shown him that it's okay. After you've taught him what affection is, he tries to show you too, even though it's difficult for him.
He gives you hugs from behind, which sometimes scares you, but now you've got used to it. When he's in a bad mood or sad (he's rarely sad) he stays on your lap for hours and hours while you cuddle him on the head, which for some reason calms him down.
Not very open with you
He's very closed off, quiet and very mysterious. You practically don't know anything about him, even if you insist that he can talk to you about something, he'll deny it. He does trust you, the problem is that he doesn't know how to explain things to you, his past is very complicated, and he's not ready to explain it.
Before he met you he was very lonely, that much is clear. He didn't have anyone to talk to, he just killed gods and angels for some unknown reason.
But from the signals he gives off, you can tell when something's bothering him.
Security!!!
He protects you from anything. He watches you like a hawk, not letting anything happen to you. He's very possessive, and he knows it. You've talked to him about it, but he still acts the same way, he's very stubborn.
Almost all humanoids in that world are dangerous, and he tries to keep you as far away from danger and away from them as possible, even going too far
Kisses? Half term.
He doesn't kiss. His mouth is full of knives, how could he kiss you? It's impossible. But he lets you kiss him. As I said, at first he didn't know anything about affection, YOU had to teach him that.
You just give him quick kisses, a little kiss, because a long kiss makes him uncomfortable.
He loves your kisses, after all, it makes him feel a bit happy. He likes it when you kiss him on the forehead, anywhere but the mouth.
His patience
It doesn't even need explaining, does it? It's very obvious that he has hardcore anger issues. He has an explosive temper, and you have to calm him down at times. He can stay calm with you.
He doesn't get angry with you, just with the situation he or the two of you are in. He sees you as a person who needs to be protected at all costs, and even in times of intense anger he picks up on this quickly.
You try to calm him down with little soothing words or even a caress on the head.
Possessive? Of course!
As well as having maximum security, he's possessive... very possessive.
He doesn't let ANYONE near you, you can't have friends and even if he did let you have friends he'd keep an eye on you all the time. It's very uncomfortable.
You can understand that he's doing this because he wants you to feel good, but it's really bad for you and for his health.
By the way, don't try to provoke him or make him jealous, it will have consequences...
If you had friends, he'd hunt them all down/j

I love the third therapy appointment where Michael asks Dr. Friedlander if he believes in pure evil, referring to Trevor, and then rattles off some of the horrible stuff he’s been doing since Trevor re-entered his life to prove the point. Michael admits that violence feels good, that he’s a “hypocritical f*ck” and that doing these things is making him feel bad about himself… all for Friedlander to prevaricate to keep Michael talking, telling him that he needs to bulk-buy more sessions if he ever wants to fix himself, continuing to hurt people while putting money in this psychologist’s pocket. He outright encourages Michael to obsess over his inadequacies, actively making Michael’s mental state worse so he’ll keep coming back, right after hearing him admit that he’s been committing random acts of violence - and then he laughs about the fact that Michael’s crimes make it so he’ll be able to pay him in cash. He’s killing people! And his doctor thinks it’s funny!
Friedlander ends the session suggesting that Michael is “a weak pup who was weaned too soon by an angry mother,” reminding us of the language Mike used when he called Trevor a “sick puppy” - as well as of something much darker about Trevor, the most overtly Freudian character in the game. His incestuous relationship with his abusive mother gets brought up constantly, with special emphasis placed on the contrast between how frightened Trevor becomes once his mom reappears & how domineering he is with everyone else. He’s tough with everyone else; he’s weak and docile with her.
So naturally, the little boy/dog language gets reused when Michael’s own issues with intimacy come up in the therapy session, and he calls himself a “good boy” for abstaining from cheating on his wife. Later on in the story, Trevor mockingly says “daddy’s been a bad boy” when Michael calls his family to apologize in front of him; and that isn’t the only time Trevor invokes the “bad boy” label! He uses it on the “reprobates” he captures for Maude in the bail bonds missions, men he’s also in the habit of intimidating with the prospect of sexual abuse in prison, the same kind of abuse that would’ve taken place between him and his mother.
They were tough with everyone else; they’re weak and docile now that they’re going to jail. Michael’s tough with everyone else; he’s weak and docile with his family, at least in Trevor’s eyes. The familial bonds that are meant to be an escape from the criminal life become enmeshed with the life itself, one form of exploitation interchangeable for another.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And jesus, the little face-journey Michael goes on if he chooses to accept Friedlander’s advice. I don’t think for a second that Mike buys into this, that Friedlander has unlocked some grandiose epiphany by telling him he needs to get his temper under control/spend more money on therapy. You can see it sink in, that this person who occupies a trusted, intimate position of power within an epicenter of American culture is just as big of a crook as he is, taking advantage of Michael’s mental and moral weakness for his own gain like a parasite. (Or a dog picking on a puppy. Or a big man assaulting a smaller one. Or a parent exploiting their child.)
But in a perverse way, it’s still exactly what Michael wanted to hear. Michael does take Friedlander’s message to heart. He just accepts it as what it is, rather than what it’s advertised as. He takes to heart that everyone is like him, in some way or another, and that the only way to reach the upper echelons of society is by being like this, whether you’re willing to admit it or not: that if he didn’t take advantage of people himself, he’d still be sitting there getting taken advantage of, with no possibility for benefit or reward. He takes to heart that he’s not that bad. His behavior isn’t that unusual. He’s got no choice, when you think about.
If Michael’s doctor is like this, then it becomes that much easier for him to convince himself that the whole world must be like this, the privileged and the downtrodden, the sacred and the profane. And what are him and Trevor? They’re dogs, tossed in a sack at birth and left to gnaw their way out or drown. At least they’ve got an excuse.

THIS IS NOT AN ELLIE HATE POST, PLEASE DONT TREAT THIS LIKE I HATE ELLIE
(I don’t hate her. I just hate what she did here)
Knowing from my own life experience. Words have a strong impact on people. Even some things you think they’ll get over probably will stick with them for the rest of their lives.
No, Jake cannot be excused for his idiocy and temper problem, nor should he be. But THIS, and how he got eliminated, and how bad his relationship with Tom went, makes me firmly believe that Season 3 is gonna have him regress to be a dick on his team.
Basically, worse than he is in Season 1. Hostile towards his teammates and trusting no one, jumping to the conclusion that everyone is out to hurt him personally, and constantly whining for good measure. No not ‘evil’, but you know, a dick. An asshole no one wants to be around, so because he pushes them away so much, everyone’s gonna hate him, and him merging Season 3 is gonna be SHEER LUCK. (I will be surprised if he merges ALONE)
I’ll hate it as a Jake Stan, probably, depending on execution, BUT I think that’s where this story is going and it sounds pretty logical to me because of THIS.
And let’s face this, this main AIN’T the devil incarnate. He’s a flawed dude in Season 1. Flaws that thankfully do get pointed out. But the guy just wants to be loved. And look what happened. So it’s a “I don’t deserve love, so I’d rather push people away.” A self loathing issue.
That’s one of a couple reasons why his relationship with Tom failed. Neither love themselves. You wanna love someone, you gotta love yourself.
The only exception to all of this is Miriam, cause grandma is the best. ❤️
I have a post where I talk about WHY I consider Ellie’s speech ‘false accusations’. But if I am correct, then this is a case of psychological damage where they were wrong at the moment but BECOME true and fully applicable later because they believe it. Jake WAS a victim in season 1 but in season 3 he’s far from such and just a sponge for drama. For example. That’s what I mean.
I thought of their faces being scribbled out from ‘A Silent Voice’
Tumblr media
In that movie the MC can’t look people in the eye because he believes everyone hates him, and he hates himself to a… suicidal level. And throughout the movie these X’s get peeled off with every person he bonds with and earns the trust of.
But idk who Jakes teammates are in the season, especially not the Season 2 characters. (As of the time of this post I’m not caught up yet) But most of you DO know, so you can just substitute the grey silhouettes in those images with those teammates. And I think it’ll work.
Also yeah, I got leaked Season 3’s designs. Whoever decided to give this guy a ponytail… I hope you got a raise cause it looked great. (I kinda prefer Ellie’s Season 1 look though tbh)
ALSO YES, THIS IS THE LAST TIME IM GONNA WHINE ABOUT THAT SCENE, I PROMISE

Please oh please may I have a crumb of more swan-maiden Graves?
Of course! Poll at the end (it is mostly a joke... or is it?)
Price looked at the feathers a long while. He went through all of the people on base, trying to pick someone to hand them off to. He really, really wished he could blame the feathers for the way he was feeling. That it was some magic spell that made him want to keep them to himself. But Price knew himself better than that. He just didn’t want anyone else to have control of Graves.
Graves was currently sleeping. Price had left him in the bed to do so, so he better be asleep. Little bastard.
Price also needed to sleep. Which meant like Alejandro told him… he needed to give someone the feathers. He kept staring at them.
Ghost was out. Price trusted him normally, but Graves had shot Soap and he knew he hadn’t gotten over it quite yet. He had temper issues on the best of days and with the best of people.
Alejandro was out for similar reasons. Price didn’t fault him for being angry, it just wasn’t the best strategy for now.
Rodolfo… maybe. Solid maybe. But he was the one that blew Graves up, so maybe not.
Soap also participated and Price was worried the concept would be hard on him.
That left Gaz. Gaz had a necklace he needed and it was a little more akin to Graves’s feathers. Plus, he knew Gaz. He wouldn’t take advantage of this situation, even if he was angry about what happened. So Price reluctantly gave Gaz the feathers before heading to bed.
Price had odd dreams. He didn’t like them very much. Dreams of all white rooms. Feathers and smoke.
Waking up was a blessing.
Price found Gaz in his room. The feathers spread over the table. He was doing paperwork next to them, but clearly was trying not to touch them.
Price patted his shoulder. “You’re a good kid, son.”
Gaz smiled at him and looked at them, hand going for his necklace. “I’ve talked with Soap. I know you did but… I get it more, ya know?”
“What did he say?”
“Not much.” Clear code for nothing Soap would want repeated back to Price, so he didn’t push. “I felt the same way. If someone got my necklace…”
“Never going to happen.” Price promised. He looked at the small pendant. It had water in it, just a small amount from Gaz’s spring. If he had it taken from him, it would be a death sentence for him. Price would make sure it was a death sentence to whoever touched it too.
Gaz smiled at him. “Thanks, Captain. I’m not too worried about it. Feel a bit bad for Graves but… necessary evils and all that. At least we’re not hurting anyone innocent.”
“Still thinking of Nik’s truth serum thing?”
“Yeah.” Gaz laughed. “Harsh as hell, but it got us what we needed. Just… gotta remember that.”
Price smiled at him and slowly took the feathers. He walked downstairs.
Rodolfo had a notebook. Graves had a split lip. Price watched quietly.
Graves looked pained and he had a feeling he was hurt more than just where he could see. But he was talking. He told them a few things that he knew about and Rodolfo wrote it down.
“Shepherd has a few safehouses. I only know about them because I found a file I wasn’t supposed to. Didn’t get all of the addresses.”
“Name the ones you do.” Rodolfo ordered and Graves nodded. It was a small handful, but it was a lot better than the nothing they had before.
Rodolfo hummed. “Anything else useful?”
“Not right now.”
He nodded and put the notebook away. “All yours Captain.” Rodolfo brushed past him, walking with the same unnatural grace he always possessed.
“He rough you up?”
“That is one scary bastard.” Graves mumbled, spitting blood on to the floor.
Price watched and took a deep breath.
Smoke and C4.
He leaned down and cut him free. “Get up.”
Graves got up slowly and nodded. He followed Price slowly.
Clothes. Price was positive there would be uniforms in Graves’s size but that would require either walking Graves through half the base, ordering someone to grab clothes or leaving Graves unattended.
He changed directions, making a detour to his room and grabbing clothing. Then they went to the showers. The ones on this side of the base were usual abandoned and today was no exception.
Graves perked up before side eyeing Price. Back with that thick accent. “Not going to peep on me are you?”
Price gave him an unamused glare and Graves shrugged, taking the clothing. He went in and Price heard the shower a moment later.
Price may think Graves is pretty, he’d never stoop so low as to watch him bathe. He found himself touching the feathers. Part of him was curious on if Graves felt everything that happened to him or just the pain. Gently, he ran his fingers over one. They were so soft.
Graves finished cleaning up and dried off. He felt the gentle petting and huffed a little. Once he pulled on his shirt, he peeked out. “Can you stop doing that?”
Price quickly let go so he was just holding him by the string again.
Graves finished getting dressed and was a bit miffed that the clothes were so big on him. He rolled the pant’s legs up and then tucked the shirt into the pants. Drawing the drawstring tight, he managed to look somewhat passable, even if he looked like he was about to go to sleep.
Finally, Graves stepped out and Price paused, examining him. “There weren’t any weapons in there for me to grab, Price. No need to stare me down.”
Price nodded and looked away. “Right. Come on.”
“Can we get food? I didn’t get a chance to eat this morning.”
“Rodolfo interrogate me all morning?”
“Yeah…” Price watched Graves’s put his hand to his ribs. “Mostly using magic, but he did hit me a few times. Scary…”
“He definitely earned Sergeant Major.” He led him to the mess hall, Graves following right on his heels. Price got him food and quickly went to put him back in his cell. Graves quickly glanced around first, cataloging everyone.
“Looking for someone?”
Graves glanced at him. “Just in case, ya know?”
‘Just in case what?”
“One of my shadows are here.” Graves said it so softly.
Price thought he looked gorgeous.

So, I was explaining the plot of Obey me! shall we date to @loekas
And here it is:
FYI: Everyone in Obey me! is emotionally constipated as F U C K
I just know that the Obey me lovers are about to come for my soul
Lucifer- pride
Basically a total asshole and prick. He constantly overworks himself. He has threatened to kill the MC many many times. He punishes his brothers in cruel ways. ( A sadist ) To make things better though, he is hot, i’ll give him that.
Mammon- Greed
A thief, will fucking steal from you. He is the MC's best friend and fandom's favorite although he acts greedy like my little brother during Christmas so I fail to see the appeal and cry blood whenever I see smut on him bcz he acts like a spoiled 5 yr old brat who loves his mom but will never admit it. You could hold a gun to his head and force him to say it but he will not
Leviathan- Envy
What a loser, honestly. All my man does is play video games and simp over underage waifu's. ( YOU CANT TELL ME RURI HANNA IS NOT LIKE 8 ) He 10/10 has a body pillow. Also attempted to kill the MC, even though MC is his only friend ( thats sad ). A hardcore gen z and hated by a lot of the fandom. Shut in Otaku and a creepy discord mod.
Satan- Wrath
Daddy issues who?? Lucifer is his dad and he HATES when he is compared to Lucifer because spoiled brat doesn't want to be like that "ugly old man". He was created out of Lucifer's wrath when their sister died and since then everyone sees him as a replacement for their dead sister he hates it. The kind of guy who would smash random objects when angry bcz of temper tantrums. I don’t feel bad for him because??? Daddy issues??? Suck it up, Lucifer isn’t even that bad your just salty he’s hotter. Also purge that outfit rn, that's a crime to fashion.
Asmodeus- Lust
A boy but so girlypop??( No hate I love girlypop boys ) Probs fucked every human, demon and angel in existence. Gossip queen and mean girl. Never trust him with secrets, he would tell the entire school. Horny 24/7, honestly a big cheater and fuckboy. Regina George 2.0, will make fun of your outfit because he wants to look better. That pretty girl that you go to talk to but turns out she has a nasty attitude and talks shit about everyone?? Thats him. Then he gets mad when people call him ugly??? Also compliment fishing on Insta all the time.
Beel - Gluttony ( older twin )
Genuinely sweet. Himbo, super muscular?? He plays sports, that one high school jock that EVERY girl has a crush on. Crying and temper tantrums when he is hungry and not given food. Tried to eat MC when he got hungry- but he apologized to MC and now they are cool. Man child tbh
Belphegor - Sloth ( younger twin )
I bet y’all were WAITING for my opinion on this one
I hate you. Murderer, literally everyone hates him. Nobody in the fandom likes him because he actually succeeded in killing the MC but they were brought back to life by the demon king and his butler. Dangerous mf, MC forgives him though?? Once you get to know him he is just a sleepy baby that wakes up with murder on his mind lol. But then again EVERYONE tried to kill MC, he was the only one that succeeded. Ngl he is pretty bad at pretending to be a defenseless human, I didn’t fall for it but the game made me go in there anyway.
Simeon- angel
My man could rail me but he would hate me irl. Holy man, jesus is good you all are unholy. Sweet? Kind? Talented writer? Grandpa that can't learn to use devices no matter what?? Everything I need in a man. Wears a slutty outfit but acts like he is all angelic and kind. Like- ✨sinful shoulders✨
Solomon- Sorcerer
Grandpa Sol. Can’t cook to save his like, Yor Forger level but even worse. Never eat his cooking, even Beel refuses to eat that monstrosity. Makes the most annoying dad jokes ever like stfu. Sussy Baka fr fr
Luke- cute baby angel
Simeon's adopted son, MC is his role model ( much to Simeon's dismay ) bcz my MC be unholy asf. Loves baking MC sweet things ( Luke pls can I marry your dad-? ) but hates when MC flirts with his father figure ( Isn't stopping me ) He is a chiwawa as per EVERYONE. Woof woof
Barbatos - Hot butler
The demon prince's hot servant, I like the butler kind. Would probably smile while insulting the shit out of you. WIll make you regret all your life decisions. Also has time manipulation where he can look into the future and stop it from happening by turning back time. The demon prince's father figure.
Could you please take me back to when I failed my math test and help me fix it-?
Lord Diavolo- Demon Prince
Demon prince, spoiled child, himbo, MC's source of secret income. When Lucifer doesn't let the MC or brothers do something they talk Lord Diavolo into changing Lucifer's mind. Biggest sweet tooth ever. Daddy Issues 2.0. Sugar daddy material, probably has a secret relationship with Lucifer.
Mc- Human
The most insane human being to ever exist.

3, 14 & 16 for deva and mason plzzzzz 💜
*twirls hair* omg hi rowen.. thank u for enabling me <3
3. Do they wear each other’s clothes? (sweatshirt, bandana, necklace, etc.)
honestly not really… i could see dev stealing a shirt and maybe his jacket sometimes but thats obligatory.. however she is a big believer in eyeliner and black nail polish herself so when he’s feeling it you know she’ll be peddling it off to him
14. How do their personalities compliment each other? How do they clash?
oooh they are both super contrary but in a similar way which most of the time has them sharing views & opinions or rather lack of views & opinions on things until it’s something to do with tackling baggage and confronting feelings...
dev is blunt & does not beat around the bush when it comes to flirting or her job (when it suits her), which is def something he relates to and appreciates in the beginning. she’s also pretty irreverent and sarcastic (thanks rook) and especially in book 1 & 2 is quite volatile temper-wise, and so on occasion will not gaf and just say whatever, which amuses him (and greatly distresses Nate). she’s got that F Hauville no filter blabbermouth but without ANY of the charm 😭
once the initial hostilities between them settle over book 1 and mutual attraction is the more precedent elephant in the room, they have a pretty good dynamic in that they just GET and respect each other and don’t push — unless it’s pushing buttons (each others — he likes that she dishes it back as much as he does — and poor Nate’s rip).
they absolutely share a prickly independence and preference for solitude, and value their autonomy. ironically they are both pretty perceptive and emotionally intelligent — just EXTREMELY bad at processing that and later putting it into words — definitely where the clashing eventually comes in. loyalty and trust are huge for them and unfortunately the two biggest problems — where Mason is slow to gain in those (but it’s happening and he’s not fighting it, just confused), Deva is dragging her heels kicking and screaming (mostly figuratively). She refuses to get emotionally attached — even to the rest of UB, and would never consider reconnecting w Rebecca either. the gradually more playful/teasing tilt to whatever dev and mason have going on is definitely a testament to how comfortable she is becoming w him but she has big abandonment and commitment issues, and his ignorance to his own feelings kinda amps up her denial, so she’s stuck in this grudge-y cycle of avoidance of any sort of open communication throughout book 3 while he’s kind of just 🗿🗿🗿 wtf-ing his way through whatever’s going on.
(Ok tangent but she is actually the result of me being bored and wanting to do a literal chaos run of twc ages ago 😭 refusing the tests, stirring shit up, bad relationship w mom and the agency, insulting them being vampires, lots of terrible decisions and worst scenarios 😭😭 and it was so fun lmao i just kinda started building around it)
i think ive rambled too much I literally start giving a press conference in my room when I think about them. Sad!
16. Can they stay up all night just talking?
you know what, dev probably could but i dont think mason has that many words in him and i think she would drive him to decking her with pheromones again just for peace. but would they? earlier on, definitely not. they like their space and are usually respectful of each others. later though, maybe, but it would be extremely rare and likely due to something emotionally charged happening, and dev would still be doing most of the talking. oh they can absolutely stay up all night doing other stuff though

Ten episodes in!
Roughly half way through the first season, so it's time for a bit of a round up of my thoughts and impressions.
First, and most important: IT'S SO PRETTY. Seriously! The animators didn't have to pour so much love into each background and sunset, but they did! Introductory shots that last for three seconds or less ought to be framed and hung on a gallery wall. And I think that really sets the tone for the rest of this show: as a viewer, you can feel that everyone who worked on this show has love for it. There are background flourishes, pauses in plot for character and vice-versa, delicate and thoughtful treatments of difficult themes, and just so much heart. Not insincere performative heartwarming chicken noodle soup for the soul forward to five of your friends and then the whole bus clapped garbage either. Genuine heart. I feel like I'm watching something that is well loved, that comes from a happy home.
And that heart is the reason this show works. The concept of 'Kids' cartoon about a genocide survivor' never would have made it off the drawing board otherwise. It still sounds crazy when I type it out.
My thoughts so far on the characters:
Aang: Sweet little guy. Literally the only child currently alive not born into a world at war, and it shows. Also exactly the dose of fun and light-heartedness that the world as it is seems to be lacking. Has enviable serenity and a deeply rooted sense of self/self-confidence (probably thanks to Gyatso) that most adults don't. Deceptively deadly, if he ever chose violence. I am really hoping that the show doesn't make him grow up and kill people. He's lovely as he is right now.
Katara: Huge heart, too much trust. Intense. Frankly a bit much at times. Certainly feels way too much quite often. Ride or die for Aang. Would kill for and kill her brother. PEAK little sister. Has a borderline irrational amount of compassion that, when paired with her explosive temper, would make her the most deadly person in the world if it ever got twisted around to face the wrong direction (if that makes sense - like the potential for some really bad outcomes is there). Totally the girl who stole from the mall in 8th grade. Not over her mother's death to a borderline annoying degree. Tries so hard to be an adult, but keeps slipping up and acting her age.
Sokka: My favourite by a mile. Funny, delightfully sarcastic, wicked smart, can keep up with (and in fact is in charge of babysitting) the most powerful bender in the world and a fairly volatile, half-trained bender with temper problems. Perceptive (looking at you, Jet). Also ride or die for Aang and Katara, just in a more quiet way. The fact that he was willing to single-handedly face down a fire nation ship and certain death to protect his family & village kind of says it all. Either completely over his mom's death or has bottled up all emotion to the point where he wouldn't recognise her if he passed her on the street. Swings regularly between far too old for his years and half-grown teenage boy with manliness issues. Motormouth. Somehow both comic relief and linchpin. If he ever gets really quiet, you'll know things are getting serious - like there's a fire nation ship about to attack his village.
Appa: How many times has his big fluffy butt saved the day? Understands an amount of English that changes from episode to episode depending on the needs of the plot. Probably as deadly as Aang, if he chose to be, except with teeth and several tonnes of weight too. Both Aang's dog and Aang's dad. Why does he have six legs? Do extra legs present any flying advantages? Are they just for enhanced hugging? I hope so. There's a reason he's plastered all over this blog and it's not his martial prowess.
Momo: I'm not sure if he knows what's going on? Appa and the humans are very much aware that they're all on a quest, but I think Momo is just chilling. Can be very useful when he feels like contributing (thinking of the pirates and the keep-away scroll shenanigans), but is certainly the group's cat-equivalent. Also seems to vary wildly in size depending on the needs of the animators. I love his noises.
Zuko: I don't know? Winter Solstice Part 1 Zuko and Waterbending Scroll Zuko are two different people. Either highly volatile with wildly inconsistent reactions, or poorly written. Judging by the quality of the rest of this show, where even episodes I hate contain something I love, I'm guessing it's the former? Either way, it must be pretty exhausting to be Zuko. Has drive for days, smarts, leadership, logistics, and seamanship abilities, and temper problems. Oddly, his temper seems to be his most predictable aspect. I can predict what will set him off (most everything) much more accurately than I can gauge what crawled up Katara's butt. I honestly thought he was in his twenties, probably late twenties, until it was mentioned that he was 16. He comes across as much more adult, despite (or maybe because of?) the temper tantrums. Then again, if that Zhao guy is representative, maybe fire nation tempers run hot?
Iroh: Much more consistent characterisation. Something going on here. Deep well of firebending knowledge contrasted with doddery old man persona/personality (which is it?) contrasted with some not-so-subtle attempts to obstruct Zuko's quest. I'd better not find out that he's been leading Zuko on a wild goose chase for years.
Love Bumi, love what little I've seen of Gyatso, Roku seems pretty calm, Zhao is an asshole, but he's so good at it.
Relationships:
Whoever wrote Sokka & Katara's interactions obviously grew up with siblings. I'm not sure I've ever seen such accurate sibling dynamics on television. Long-suffering super smart idiot of an older brother attempting mostly in vain to claim some authority vs. ruthless little sister with a nose like a bloodhound for mocking opportunities and a contractual obligation to sharpen her claws on said brother. That's good stuff, and I love to see it.
Zuko & Iroh, partly thanks to Zuko's inconsistent character, flip flop between long-suffering mentor and hot-headed student (episodes 1 & 2), bickering old couple who love each other really (Winter Solstice Part 1 & 2), and no-nonsense super soldier whose hippy uncle came along for the ride (Waterbending Scroll). In all iterations of their dynamic, they give off the impression that they've been together for a long time and know each other well. Which is nice! I feel like Zuko especially could use a friend.
Bending:
Airbending is stupidly deadly. I think, from looking at the whole monks and temples thing, that the airbenders as a whole leaned pretty hard into the pacifist lifestyle, and (if you'll forgive the momentary foray into fanfiction territory) I think that they chose this lifestyle because they realised how crazy deadly their powers could be when misused. Aang can send a whole row of soldiers flying with one swipe of his staff. He flings people into walls without effort, without even looking. He can run faster than any other human we see, he can fly (albeit assisted), he whips up a tornado when fighting Bumi. Presumably (fanfiction territory again) he could control/prevent breathing, therefore control/end life. Gyatso certainly obliterated a bunch of comet-enhanced (I think?) firebenders. Now, some of this might be because Aang is the Avatar, which maybe gives him an airbending power-up? What I really love about airbending (or at least Aang's approach to it, which let's be honest, is the only one we're ever going to see) is how integrated it is into his daily life. Why stand up when you can airbend yourself up? Why twiddle your thumbs when you can twiddle marbles? It's thoughtless in a good way, as in it's effortless. Is Aang even aware of how often he bends? How much of it is unconscious bending? Is this because he's the avatar? Can other bending styles be so central to how a person lives their everyday life?
We haven't seen any master-level waterbending yet, but what we have seen invites speculation. Unlike airbending, where air is air is air, water is kind of defined by its variety. Solid? Liquid? Gas? We've already seen Katara bend water to ice, bend snow, bend salt and fresh water. Is waterbending the most limitless of the bending styles?
Unless you're Bumi, earthbending seems to promote stupidity. I was blown away by what Bumi could do, but every earthbender since has lost, and lost badly. I don't count the earthbenders in Imprisoned, because they had some hefty psychological factors at play, but the earthbending soldiers in the Winter Solstice part 1 who capture Iroh were literally surrounded by their element, with numbers on their side and their captive in chains, and they lost to a naked guy and a teenager. Does being a non-Bumi earthbender have a negative effect on cognitive abilities? Does the solidity of the element prevent creativity?
Firebending is dangerous, not in the way airbending can be dangerous, but in the way a drunk with a firecracker is dangerous. Probably the element that requires the most responsibility and self-regulation, ironically gifted to the most volatile people. All we've seen so far are fairly large plumes of fire - is precision firebending possible or is it more of a 'point it in the general direction of the enemy' technique? It does feel like an outlier, in that it comes from within, not the surrounding environment. That being said, airbenders can also be said to carry their element wherever they go, because everywhere humans can go (at least for more than a few minutes) has air, so fire isn't actually that much of an outlier. Also, either Zuko is suffering from a serious case of cartoon physics, or firebending causes some sort of muscle intensification and bone hardening, because last time I checked you can't kick a flying rock the size of a small child out of mid air or shatter handcuffs with an axe kick.
Final thoughts:
I think I'm preferring the monster of the week episodes to the season-long plot episodes. I think I want lower stakes while I'm still getting to know the characters. I want - no I NEED - more Appa. Give me an Appa episode. Give me a Sokka episode too. I also want more Gyasto - he seemed like a stand up guy, and I feel like he is what an older Aang will become, if all goes well. Obviously he's dead, so if there is more it will be flashback only, but I'll take what I can get.
I think the best point of the show, and what's really drawn and kept my attention, is the finality of things, even in these early, fairly plot-light episodes. Whatever blew away half of Zuko's face hasn't been undone. Sokka & Katara's mom is dead, and looks to stay that way. Aang really is the last of his people (and so, I suspect, is Appa). Aang disappearing for a century has left a duty in some way unfulfilled, and the world has suffered for it. Legitimate consequences, which means legitimate stakes, which means I feel like getting invested in the show is not a waste of my time. No Marvel fake-out deaths here! This world is one in which actions, and inaction, have weight. No bait and switch, no last-minute saves, no "it was _____ all along!" I don't think this would have mattered to me at all if I had seen this show as a child, but as an adult who is sick of how much of modern media shies away from sincerity, this show is refreshing.
Rankings so far:
Best episode (as in most competently executed) and favourite episode are getting different categories, because in a show that deals with some heavy themes, sometimes the most expertly done episode isn't all that pleasant to watch. I think the best episode so far, by far, is Jet. It feels head and shoulders above everything that came before it. It was at times uncomfortable to watch for how accurately it portrays both what war does to children, and what war-torn children will do to/with powerful children they happen to ensnare. Like I said in my post about it, I'll probably never watch it again because it's a little too real, but it is an episode that hums along like a well-tuned engine. A close second on the best/most competent list has to be The Southern Air Temple. The way the two stories weave together, and the way they mirror each other despite depicting characters destined to be enemies, AND the way all that gets represented in contrasting colour palettes is all so clever. It also gave me my first taste of the kind of long-term thought and planning that I'm already detecting hints of. Could you really write an episode like The Southern Air Temple without knowing how your season, even your series, would ultimately end? It's the episode where I first got a taste of the wider world, the scale of the stakes, the eventual endgame.
The worst executed episode so far is probably Imprisoned. I found the tonal switch in the middle completely jarring. I know what it was trying to say about Katara (compassionate and impassioned and will act on both to protect the innocent), but honestly the message I got was that Katara is closed-minded, naive, without any sense of proportion or any ability to pick and choose battles, with no long-term planning skill, and who is far too used to having Sokka around to clean up her messes and do her thinking for her. That being said, the worldbuilding was well done: this episode told us earthbenders' weakness (take away their element by sticking them in the middle of the ocean on a metal-only rig) and what life is like under fire nation rule (pretty hairy).
My favourite episode so far is The Winter Solstice Part 1: The Spirit World. I have literally no idea why, but it made me happy. Things I liked about it include: -It's so PRETTY -Sokka being ride or die for Aang to the extent of being subjected to spirit kidnapping -Zuko pulling the Exhausted Parent (TM) move of 'five more minutes on the playground then I'm leaving with or without you,' followed by not following through -Katara being stirred to action by Appa's worry -Zuko and Iroh absolutely flattening those earthbenders -Zuko and Iroh's odd couple dynamic throughout the episode -Zuko being competent at something! -How genuinely alien that spirit thing was, especially its movement. -Aang's "I have to try, don't I?" If I could have reached through the screen and given him a hug, I would have.
My second favourite is The King of Omashu. Maximum goofiness at all times is just delightful. Bumi has an enlightened way of looking at the world that gets all the more poignant when you realise how old he is and what he's lived through. There is serious angst potential there. But the episode is so light-hearted that you don't realise that while you're watching it. Also the absolute pinnacle of earthbending so far, and some pretty peak airbending too.
My least favourite is The Warriors of Kyoshi. They gave me a badass troupe of warrior ladies and then nerfed them so that Sokka could learn feminism. Sokka (as he was characterised in that episode at least) did need to learn it, but the trope of the male student effortlessly surpassing the female master is just so tired. At least the b-plot of the avatar title going to Aang's head was both fun and necessary story ground to cover.
An excellent run of episodes so far, despite my many and varied gripes with mostly minor things. Bring on episode 11.
