Any tropical islands on theia??

Yes!! There's many across Theia, and maybe one day I'll have a full world map to elaborate on, but for now I can tell you about the ones localized around Stolla.

Also I hope you're ready for lore beyond their climates heehee.

There's a lot of islands littered around Stolla but the ones with tropical-like climates hang out on the south-eastern half of Stolla, which harbors the warmest and most humid climate out of the 5 vertices of the continent.

This cluster of eyots by the mouth of the Splitriver are the truest of tropical islands within Stolla. A couple are accessible via a local port, which mainly host small, low-denisty villages. Many of these eyots however are nautically inaccessible due to sheer cliff faces, or are too thick with growth & inhospitable to most humanoids of the region.

During cooler times of the year these islands are nearly always shrouded in a dense and humid fog kept in place by the cooler ocean waters below.

The sands surrounding the lower and more accessible islands are a glittery cyan color, a noteable feature almost exclusively seen along the coasts of the Irrandiant Gulf, so they're quite the spectacle for western & mid Stolla inhabitants!

Speaking of the Irradiant Gulf, all other tropical like islands sit in this gulf's surrounding waters. These very large islands are more sub-tropic, a little further away from the equator. They are still just as humid, and despite how I lazily colored in the vegetation on this map, much of the jungle within these islands actually glow and glitter vibrantly in a range of cool colors from sea-green to indigo.

The two largest islands are populated heavily along their coasts, but very few people live far inland. The largest of the islands exports many unique and unusual magical goods and ingredients to the rest of Stolla.

And finally these two small islands in the outer center of the gulf have a somewhat sub-tropical climate, but are notably less rainy and have colder winters. Any island more northern than these in this area begins to reach more temperate climates.

These islands are home to chiefdoms of Payans and Garbeators that reject trade and much contact with the rest of Stolla. Though nobody knows how they exist, these islands happen to be right on top of an ancient meteor impact site, the same one that created the gulf, and caused the great flooding of it's surrounding provinces. Also the one that brought all that glittery magic to the world in the first place ^_^.

The islands sport several sheer rock formations of varying heights laced with colorful crystals that influence the growth and behaviors of all life within their surrounding area. Many living things from these islands beyond Payans and Garbeators have more than two eyes, for reasons yet to be understood.

Now that Ollie has a seat in f1 Paul will never get a chance

He will win the championship this season (as it stands now) and can’t stay another year in f2

It’s a waste of talent that f1 teams are ignoring him. I agree with the anon about the Ollie seat in my opinion he deserves it more

hmmmm that's a very interesting way to look at it..... idk why ollie getting a seat would mean that paul won't ever get one? the haas seat wasn't paul's to get anyway, it was obvious that was going to go to a fda member (esp ollie).

it's also waaaay too soon to say anything about how the championship will end up. we've only gone through half of the season, and while it's true that paul is doing very well and is very consistent, this does not in any way mean that he's a done champion already. he's only 11 points ahead of is*ck, and only about 40 points separate the top 5. a lot can happen, 40 points in 7 rounds (when you can get almost 30 points from just one round) is not too crazy.

though im a paul lover through and through, i am lowkey wishing that he doesn't win so he can stay for another year. unless something crazy happens, like he's picked up by another academy (williams? alpine? idk what would be good tbh) and gets offered a seat like right away, i really want him to get more experience in f2. i agree that it's a waste of talent to overlook him, but im also sure the f1 teams arent ignoring the f2 series as a whole!! i know they're keeping track and discussing things in the teams.

plus, i think it's important to remember that f1 isn't the only good racing series out there. sure, it's the big grand goal, and getting a seat there would be lovely – but let's face it, it's extremely hard to get in. it only has room for 20 drivers. would you really argue that paul is one of the 20 best drivers in the world today? plus, the last two f2 champions don't have any seats yet. nor do any of the people who came close to them in the ranks. theo was shunted from indy, fred is doing wec but is currently being pushed to the side to make room for toto wolff's second son, and felipe is still waiting for that seat that will never be free because it belongs to the owner's son.... is it really that crazy that paul doesn't look to be having an f1 seat next year?

My absolute favourite post fantasy high head canon I’ve got is that Riz joins the in universe FBI, just his dream of solving the worse of the worse every day, he’s a badass catching criminals and stopping crime, but the fucking realisation hits him that he has ONLY ever interacted with crazy ass fucking lunatics his entire life and now he’s gotta talk to Sheryl about her vet bill and act like he knows what normal people do on weekends, super tight lanced Riz on his BEST behaviour so his colleagues don’t think he’s the kinda guy who commuted a Lot of murders in high school, everyone in this pretty badass office thinking he’s some sweet geeky guy who’s probably never seen the outside of a text book before this job worried the last scene was a little graphic for him and he is just sweating in his little office cubicle hoping they don’t find out he has fully upper body tattoos he got whilst off his tits on snuff at a night club on a pirate island at 15 years old
