WIP: Say My Name ft. most of ATEEZ an Alpha Theta Zeta Frat Fic

On your way up to Mingi��s room you catch sight of Yunho making out with Wooyoung, while Yeosang taps away on his phone ignoring the pair. A feat which you found so difficult, the sight before you causes you to miss a step and fall against Mingi.

Wooyoung is perched on the bar with Yunho between his legs, and they are devouring one another. Wooyoung’s pretty hands drifting down to clench handfuls of Yunho’s tight ass. 

“Are you okay?” 

Mingi’s voice snaps you out of your gaping, his warm eyes calling you back to him. 

You give him a quick smile and nod, “I will be in a minute.”

What is a good resource when deciding between orgs? Some of their missions are very similar so where would one might go (quiz book etc) to find the deciding factor? I want to be sure I am not being biased based on popularity. I am a grad interest and don't have the ability to a flat out ask a member as of yet.

Consider a five part rubric:

1. Which organization's values, mission, and projects speak to me the most?

2. Which organization's history resonates with me?

3. Which organization's notable members do I most identify with?

4. Do I feel comfortable and at home in a room full of those members?

5. Do I value the more intimate experience of a smaller organization or do I like being part of a very large network?

I am toying with the idea of rebranding the alpha MC as another type entirely. To give this one as much of an appeal as the others.

They would be a Sigma, Theta, or Zeta.

The alphas are going to be touched a bit, while this new type is going to be the only werewolf to be much more of a loner. A fighter, made to survive in harsh conditions even without the pack, because they are the one who guard the back of the pack and protect the oldest and the wounded.

The alpha would still remain the leadimg were of the pack, but they are much more sociable - necessarily so - they are protective but also nurturing. A tactician who makes the hard decisions and bears the guilt of them.

Dynamic Descriptions

The secondary sex categories or dynamics are Alpha, Beta, Omega, Beta-Alphas or Zetas, and Beta-Omegas or Thetas. A/N: I picked those particular Greek letters because I wanted all the Beta mixed dynamics to rhyme with Beta.

Alpha

Alphas are the instinctual protectors. They are typically willing to put themselves into harm's way to ensure everyone is safe, however, they will only engage in a physical fight if provoked or an unknown person gets too close to their mate or pack; especially if a mate is pregnant.

They have the longest canine teeth of all the dynamics, but they aren't very sharp. It takes intentional force behind a bite to puncture skin so Alphas bare their teeth as a warning more than a threat. The most common kind of fight is over a potential mate, and this is often the only time an Alpha's nails will protract into claws as their instincts are at the forefront of their mind instead of rational thoughts.

Their protective instincts also drive them to want to provide a suitable, comfortable place to live for their pack and mate(s). Alphas will take their time searching for just the right home that is well located to be protected from others as much as possible or will mark their territory to keep strangers away (deliveries have to be left in a lock box at the edge of the property, like a mail dropbox). Some Alpha's will even build or have a house built for their pack or make various improvements to their homes to make it perfect.

Alphas are the most fertile dynamic when impregnating someone.

Female Alphas have Ambigenitalia, both sets of primary sex reproductive organs, and can therefore impregnate others and be impregnated. They have a clitoral penis or a clitoris that when aroused elongates, fills out in diameter and has a knot structure at the bottom. When not aroused, it shrinks to between 6.5 and 12 cm or 2.56-4.72 in, staying outside the body as an enlarged clitoris. Their testicles are internal for most people but some do have theirs drop.

Female Alphas don't ovulate very frequently (typically every seventy-five days) and they're fertile for fewer days then other dynamics, which makes getting pregnant harder unless they get a fertility boost. They also experience some complications with childbirth as they normally have narrower hips than Betas, making them prefer cesarean sections over vaginal birth as they have become more widely available. Due to their body's restrictions, they more often than not only get pregnant with one pup at a time, which works out as their milk supply is below average so some parents could struggle to feed even one pup at times.

Alphas have an Alpha Voice, but they only have access to it while they have at least one mate bond, have several packmates (three or more) or a pup as it only works on closely bonded people or to specifically push dangerous people away from the pack.

Beta

Betas are the balancers, stable workers and main providers. They have the most sensitive noses which allows them to sense shifts in mood and pheromone/hormone levels in those around them. It can also affect them negatively if the space they are in is particularly smelly. Betas can mildly to moderately influence the moods of others, even strangers, depending on their own control of their pheromones. This ability can improve with practice, but typically, the more people in the space the harder it is to influence everyone to the same degree, unless the person is exceptionally good at controlling their pheromones. When bonded they have even more influence over their mate and/or packmates without practice as there is a higher level of trust in the relationship. But whether there is a close bond or not, the influence is short lived, lasting at most five minutes as it is for peacekeeping or to help keep someone calm.

Betas with excellent to exceptional control of their pheromones are capable of producing a nullifying pheromone that can cancel out any other it comes in contact with, basically resetting a space as long as no one else is putting out more pheromones. This is another balancing tool or it can be used to help someone going into heat make a quick escape. This nullifying pheromone, if used correctly, can be turned into a pheromone/hormone combo that can break down the chemical connections that create bonds; something that is completely unique to Betas.

Betas can also absorb pheromones and hormones, which allows them to help to hold off a rut/heat cycle for a few hours; fully stop a cycle that is just starting or end one early; when bonded, some Betas can absorb enough to stop a cycle at any stage. Absorbing has a rebound effect and will push Betas into either a rut or heat cycle of their own some time later. Which cycle and how long it lasts depends on their own biology, what dynamic their mate is (if they have one) and the strength of the pheromones and hormones absorbed. So a Beta who absorbed heat pheromones and hormones from an Omega that were of a moderate strength (someone who wasn't in full blown heat yet) could be pushed into their own heat a day later. This heat could last approximately 1.5-2 days long. Whereas a mated Beta doing the same thing would probably be pushed into a rut cycle for 1-2 days. The ability to absorb pheromones and hormones starts to fade as they reach fecundopause or the end of their fertility. Post fecundopausal Betas no longer have access to this skill.

When sexually satisfied, a Beta's pheromones can boost the fertility of everyone in the immediate area during rut/heat cycles. The effect can become more potent when mated or with control so contraceptives may be needed. Control can also turn this effect down, but there will always be a mild boost, even for the most disciplined. Outside of these increases and a rebound cycle, Betas are normally only as fertile as a regular human would be.

They have the shortest and bluntest canine teeth of all the dynamics, but they're still sharp enough to initiate a bond when enough force is applied.

Betas have elite level stamina. They are the main workforce as they don't have regular heat and rut cycles to throw them off their everyday activities. Having the levels of energy they do allows them to look after everyone else while also being able to do all the work left over during other people's cycles without it being too tiring.

Omega

Omegas are the instinctual nurturers. They nurture bonds, keeping the connections between everyone in the pack healthy and flourishing. They also tend to gravitate towards nurturing children, pets, plants or even all of these at once.

Omegas are the most fertile dynamic when being impregnated. They are prone to carrying more than one pup at a time in each pregnancy, most often twins (identical or fraternal) but larger numbers are not uncommon (around a 25-30% chance of more than twins). Male Omegas are able to do this as they are Bigenitalic or have Ambigenitalia. They also grow more mammary tissue during the pregnancy in order to breastfeed; for most, the tissue will reabsorb into the body after breastfeeding stops and the hormone levels lower, returning to their previous size, but some retain around an A cup of tissue that may or may not increase in size with subsequent births. Both Male and Female Omegas are above average producers of breast milk, helping their multiples survive past infancy.

Male Omega's Bigenitalia means they have a working male reproductive system, but their sperm count is low, even in heat, so impregnating someone else takes work unless they have an outside help with their fertility.

They have the second longest canine teeth after Alphas and they're also the sharpest.

Omegas gain Omega Voice after presenting. Omega Voice is most powerful in situations where an Omega feels that they are in danger of some kind as they would most likely be able to talk their way out of it, however it must be genuine danger and not a threat that is a means to get someone to use their ability. When threatened, an Omega's most useful tools are their teeth, Omega Voice and their claws which will protract if they need to defend themselves. Omega Voice is also useful for calming down unruly pups or overwhelmed packmates: blood related or pack bonded members of a household, community or compound.

Zeta

Zetas are the midpoint between Alphas and Betas. They and their Theta counterparts have the second most sensitive noses after Betas. Zetas have a mild to moderate ability to influence the mood of their packmates, pups and mate(s) with their pheromones, but no ability to influence strangers. This can of course get stronger with practice and control. The closer the bond, the stronger their ability is without refinement, but the easier it is to mess up more complex mood changes. For example, if someone is feeling angry it's relatively easy to pivot to neutral or calm as they're not directly opposing emotions, but more skill is required to push all the way to happiness and not just make the person madder.

Zetas, similar to Betas, can influence the fertility of others in cycle just by using their pheromones. Their ability, however, works at will and only with practice so there is less of a chance of accidental pregnancy, but on the other hand, if a Zeta can't control it they can't give anyone a boost.

Unlike Betas, Zetas specifically can extend someone's heat cycle by producing rut hormones and pheromones out of their own cycle to keep the heat going. This only works on those who are mated, two or more unmated people or between packmates to a lesser extent. Doing this out of cycle will push them into a mini rut, usually for the duration of the time they're helping the person(s) out. Extending a heat has the benefit of making sure mate bonds are in place and healthy for multi-person bonds and ensuring one or more pregnancies.

Their canine teeth are longer than a Betas but just as blunt, so they also can still initiate a bond.

Zetas are in the middle of the dynamics when it comes to fertility as they produce less sperm than Alphas, but more than Betas. This is true even in rut cycles for all primary sexes.

Female Zetas have Ambigenitalia and can both impregnate others and be impregnated. Female Zetas ovulate more frequently than Female Alphas (about every fifty days) and their hips are typically more in line with a Female Beta's, so they are more likely than Alphas to successfully carry a pregnancy. However, they still frequently only get pregnant with one pup at a time; in very rare instances they might have a twin pregnancy, but no more than two pups at a time. One of the reasons is they are slightly below average producers of breast milk, so multiple pups would have a hard time surviving without outside help.

Theta

Thetas are the midpoint between Omegas and Betas. They, like their Zeta peers, have a mild to moderate ability to influence the mood of their packmates, pups and mate(s), but no ability to influence strangers. They can also influence the fertility of others in cycle at will. Thetas can do the opposite of Zetas and extend someone's rut cycle.

Their canine teeth are longer than a Betas but are almost as sharp as an Omegas.

Thetas are also around the middle when it comes to fertility as they're more fertile than Betas, but less than Omegas.

Male Thetas have partial Bigenitalism as they do not have a vulva, but they do have everything else from both sets of reproductive organs. The uterus is still connected to a cervix and a canal, but the canal is connected to the anus and is separated by a wall. The wall is the Epivagina, which keeps the reproductive organs and waste separated by moving to cover the rectum for access to the vagina when aroused which also closes that half of the anal sphincter. Male Thetas and Omegas also have an internal clitoris just inside the vagina.

Both Male and Female Thetas have about a fifty-fifty chance at having one pup at a time or a random number of multiples, but usually no more than four as their hips aren't as wide as an Omegas. They can also be over-producers of breast milk making them the biggest suppliers of all of the dynamics. It depends on how many babies they have to feed and how many other babies they're around if their bodies will go into overdrive. Thetas are generally known to be rather generous with their oversupply of milk as they have enough to go around, maybe even to store some for later. This has earned them the title of "Wet-nurse" and anyone with a newborn, especially multiples, is all too happy to pay a Theta for their milk or court one for their pack as the mammary glands can be stimulated or encouraged to grow outside of pregnancy if needed.

Alpha, Delta, Lambda, Theta and 621 (using "Raven" as an alias) were gathered in a private hangar. Earlier, Theta had dragged 621 through a clothes store and made her choose an actual outfit instead of near-full body bandages.

621 held a 1/144 model of a gunpla, looking between it and the 1/1 scale version in the hangar bay with confusion. How the fuck? Does this tiny thing become that fucking big?

"… and that leads us to here." Theta finished relaying the events that led to 621 meeting her. Delta nodded.

"I asked an acquaintance who's familiar with EL-Divers to come by and take a look at her." Delta claimed. "To be clear: I don't think Raven is an EL-Diver; she'd probably instictively know more about gunpla if she was. But it's better to know if she is."

"So-" Theta was interrupted by 2 notifications. [all gunpla repairs have finished] [ZeTa wants to join the instance (mutual friends with Delta)] She glanced at Delta before tapping [Accept].

The fox woman hadn't even finished spawning before she walked over to the meeting table. "Hi, Delta and her friends! You can call me Zei, at least today, but Zeta works too." She exclaimed. "So, who am I looking into for you?" Delta pointed toward Raven. ZeTa looked in that direction. "…Unreadable data format. Magnitudes more bytes than most EL-Divers. Weird red outline on both her and the machine I'm guessing she brought with her… Not an EL- Diver. Or any type of Diver. What a fascinating problem…"

"And you can tell all that just by looking?" Theta asked.

"They call me a digi-detective for a reason!" ZeTa winked and did a 'v' sign with a hand.

"That explains the renamon avatar…" Lambda noted, the irony of sitting at a table with halo pelican and nightingale aeromorphs not lost on her.

"Well, either way, I'll be taking a closer look at her for you." ZeTa said, before walking to where Raven sat.

621 saw the fox woman approach, and put the tiny gunpla aside. "This fucking place has so many weirdos…" She grumbled.

"Yep, it sure does. I'm Zeta, and I've been… not exactly hired but whatever, to help you." The fox tilted her head and offered her hand.

"Raven. I don't know shit about how I got here." 621 stated, tentatively reaching for the Zeta's hand.

The moment their hands touched, everything got jumbled. It lasted hours or perhaps centuries. Then stopped.

"Curious." Zeta remarked, watching as both of them glitched. "Well, the good news is your massive excess data is no longer threatening-"

"What the fuck? Does that even mean?"

"GBN's servers can't handle digital life forms like us-"

"I'm not fucking digital!" 621 argued, having only taken in half the meaning.

"…so, I had to make you a proxy body irl, take your data offline, and log you back in before the system could parse you'd gone." Zeta explained confusingly. "And, I should mention, I'll need to do it to your mech the same way so you can keep using it."

"AC. And, thanks? I think?" 621 had set a first new record for least swearing in a few sentences this loop… Is it actually a time loop anymore, anyway?

ARMORED CORE: VERTICAL INVERSION/BUILD DIVERS: BEYOND THE ASHES CH001-SEG01 - BROKEN WINGS CAN'T FLY

DANGER! ANOMALY DETECTED! "Tell me something fucking NEW!" C4-621 snarled. Her AC entered assault boost, tearing through the coral haze towards her target. Left strafe. Right strafe. Right strafe. Sharp left turn. Fire the plasma rifle. Reverse boost.

Clnk! WHSSH! A massive blast of energy tore through the space 621 had almost charged through. A comm channel opened abruptly. V.IV Rusty…? "Hey, buddy. Can't let you have all the fun up there. Adjusting target, loading next shell…" This timeloop bullshit was getting on 621's nerves.

Her AC stepped forward. And again. And again. AC Detected… name: NINEBALL SERAPH That wasn't an AC she'd encountered on or near Rubicon before…

THNK THNK!! She instinctually fired the SONGBIRDS in tandem. But it was already gone.

"What do you fight for, Raven?" CLANG! It kicked her AC in the back. "Money? Power? Glory?"

Clnk! WHSSH! "For Rubicon." Rusty Answered.

"Interference… I'll be back for you, Raven." Nineball stated, diving out one of the holes left by Rusty's marksmanship.

"GET BACK HERE, MOTHERF-!" 621 yelled. The floor, or maybe ceiling of the the orbital station erupted under her AC, sending her flying out into open space.

"Have a nice flight, freelancer…" Iguazu's voice echoed over the comms…

She drifted through space for months, or maybe hours…

Warning! Atmospheric entry intiated! "…Damnit." She began the eject sequence. Which was, for emergency purposes, far too many inputs to prime quickly.

Thmp! The sequence was a few switches and a button short of being done, and the impact had shoved her back into the seat. At least it was cushioned enough to not hurt.

She got back up, and flipped the switches. Then she stared for a minute at the button. "I'm asking for a less fucking complicated eject sequence next time." She resolved before slapping the button. Immediately getting thrust back into the seat. Then hitting her head on the highly rubberized, and thank the fucking stars it is, edge of the control panel.

clunk. clunk. clunk. clunk. whsssh. The core pod opened. 621 sat up inside, then rubbed her head. "Ugh… Hate landings like that more than I hate just losing the whole AC…"

She glanced outside the pod. Then processed the mechanical humanoid stood outside, and looked again. "Who the fuck are you?"

\`event active: dimension break\` The notification was sudden. Theta stared at it for a minute, before menuing to summon her gunpla, the EZ-FA.

The Texas desert zone remained relatively silent for a few minutes. Then the radar picked up an inbound signal. Friend or foe? Unclear.

Theta activated EZ-FA's sniper visor. whrrr, clunk! Heat signature. 100 miles northeast-east, 500 up? 450. 400... trajectory projection... too close! whrrr, clunk! Don't need long range optics engaged for this!

She stepped on the thrust pedal. Anywhere would be better than in the open near an expected crash site of something falling from space. She lamented not having logged in with a high mobility loadout, but that was still in development (half-built and sitting on her gunpla table IRL).

Impact. Shrapnel and sand. EZ-FA's durability decreased sharply.

EZ-FA turned to face the impact crater, decelerating from 'frantic escape' to 'cautious approach'.

EZ-FA's cockpit opened, and Theta climbed out to make the descent into the crater, the molten sand burning at her legs and hand as she slid down. Thankfully, other than the simulated sensations, she was in no real danger.

The unknown machine was roughly half the size of most gunpla, which was still huge, maybe 10 foot, next to a human-sized body. Theta didn't want to think how big it would look from a haro-sized point of view. The chest opened, and launched a pod. It landed in the sand, then slid back down the edge of the crater, coming to a rest at the machine's feet.

Theta approached. clunk. clunk. clunk. clunk. whsssh. It opened.

A heavily bandaged girl with white and red hair sat up inside the pod, then rubbed her head. "Ugh... Hate landings like that more than I hate just losing the whole AC..." she complained.

She glanced at Theta with her red and pink eyes. Then did a double take. "Who the fuck are you?"

Concept: calling the Epsilon-Tex Zeta since it's Epsilon's Beta and Zeta is the next letter like Beta is to Alpha. Thought this begs the question, what is Zeta's trait? Which begs the question, what is Beta's trait? Cuz all the AI have traits except the Tex's cuz they always just say "memories of Allison" or "byproduct" etc when I feel like there should be an actual trait.

That's not a bad concept! (and depending on how you want to look at it, Epsilon making recreations of everybody he missed kind of was like creating his own Fragments, they all just existed in the unit together. Though, since so many of them are similar memories to existing characters, like Sigma/Delta/Theta etc, I tend to think of them as Epsilon-versions, so Epsilon-Tex or Epsi-Tex for short)

Like, "officially"- Beta was described as being "Failure", and this is meant to show that no matter how bad-ass Tex is, when she is on the verge of true victory, something happens that causes her to fail... though, to be honest, all of the info given by project Freelancer about the Fragments is at least slightly off, and some of it is literally lies. Like, the Director, the Councilor, and everybody else involved, were NOT exactly being ethical in all these experiments, they kept secrets and made stuff up to hide what they were really doing. Even characters who were more in the know all kinda have... memory issues (Wash got a blast of memories from Epsilon, who had all the shared memories of Alpha and the Fragments, but it was a little muddled in there. Alpha never totally remembered who he was originally, and Epsilon didn't have all the information even when his memories were recovered). So... yeah. What this all actually MEANS is iffy.

Personally, I like to think that Alpha originall didn't create the Fragments as something he was "rejecting" from himself, but as ways to HELP him. The scientists just kept going "Oh, free AI!" and stole them each time. The Director himself kept trying to rationalize what the purpose of having Fragments like that could be, and HE was the one who thought it must be some kind of coping mechanism where you would "gather up unwanted emotions/thoughts, and get rid of them". The way we see Epsilon work together with the memories of the Fragments while helping Carolina; THAT is what they were SUPPOSED to be with Alpha, a system together! Not only did each Fragment get taken away, and used for other purposes, Alpha didn't even get to mourn them. His memories were taken away, too.

Also, my personal idea for what Beta was in the beginning; from Alpha, she was never meant to be a "replacement for Allison", or a representation of the failure connected to losing her... Alpha came from the mind of the Director, but there is so much POTENTIAL with what all that information contains and can transform into, which is why Alpha shares a lot of things in common (including eventually taking the name Leonard Church), but he doesn't act EXACTLY like the Director (or even sound like him!). Alpha wanted to help. He could see how lonely the man who created him was, but the world was so FULL of people he could connect with. Maybe he just needed to see how it could work. So, Alpha "created" Beta, not with a plan, not built bit by bit, but from the same potential of information, allowed to sort itself out and become somebody new. A companion, a friend. However, Beta DID sound like somebody else, and the Director latched on to that. If this AI contained memories of Allison, maybe he could MAKE it be a new Allison, and bring her back... THAT is what turned Beta into Failure, because the strongest memory the Director had of Allison was her dying, and the more he tried to control Beta/change her code, the more it got ruined. It also didn't help that no version ever seemed "perfect", because perfect does not exist, and he couldn't even comprehend the idea that even if he somehow recreated a copy of Allison... people change. His own failure was like a virus for the Beta AI.

Anyway... if you want to be sappy, Beta's true designation could be Love or Friendship. Maybe something like Resolve or Tenacity (the theme of her failing could even be shown that when she reaches a point when she won't give up, and doesn't stop, it ends badly. not because she's doomed to always fail, but caring too much and not backing down makes it hard to keep going)

Pack Positions

It's about to get complicated:

Fact 93: the pack position is not equavalent to the secondary gender (they can overlap but let's not get too packnormative)

Your pack position is your role and what you officially provide to your pack. Pack position is mainly emphasized in packs big enough to need that kind of identity structure within their pack. It's used within all packs, but it holds more weight with a pack of 15 than a pack of 3.

A Beta can be an Alpha and an Omega can be a Beta, etc. There are three (genetic) secondary genders but more pack positions. The genders are something one is born as. The positions are assigned or chosen and can get moved around.

Fact 94: pack position lists as follows:

Alpha - leader. There's usually only one. On occasion there is two.

Theta - second in command/the keeper of pack members and their positions usually falls to Theta

Beta - pack. The hunter-gatherers

Gamma - medic/sometimes another choice as number keeper, depending on what the alpha wants from their Theta

Omega - alpha's mate and/or emotional keystone

Zeta - lone wolf/trail member. Someone who isn't officiated into the pack but there at the moment. Trail runners to join the pack are the most common use of the Zeta position.

It didn't make sense to me to have Omega's meaning be the lowest ranking, simply because that wouldn't provide anything, and the positions are about what you provide to the pack.

The positions are ranked in order of social hierarchy, though the importance of said hierarchy depends entirely on your pack.
