ARMORED CORE: VERTICAL INVERSION/BUILD DIVERS: BEYOND THE ASHES CH002-SEG03 - THE CYBER SLEUTH IS ON THE CASE

Alpha, Delta, Lambda, Theta and 621 (using "Raven" as an alias) were gathered in a private hangar. Earlier, Theta had dragged 621 through a clothes store and made her choose an actual outfit instead of near-full body bandages.

621 held a 1/144 model of a gunpla, looking between it and the 1/1 scale version in the hangar bay with confusion. How the fuck? Does this tiny thing become that fucking big?

"… and that leads us to here." Theta finished relaying the events that led to 621 meeting her. Delta nodded.

"I asked an acquaintance who's familiar with EL-Divers to come by and take a look at her." Delta claimed. "To be clear: I don't think Raven is an EL-Diver; she'd probably instictively know more about gunpla if she was. But it's better to know if she is."

"So-" Theta was interrupted by 2 notifications. [all gunpla repairs have finished] [ZeTa wants to join the instance (mutual friends with Delta)] She glanced at Delta before tapping [Accept].

The fox woman hadn't even finished spawning before she walked over to the meeting table. "Hi, Delta and her friends! You can call me Zei, at least today, but Zeta works too." She exclaimed. "So, who am I looking into for you?" Delta pointed toward Raven. ZeTa looked in that direction. "…Unreadable data format. Magnitudes more bytes than most EL-Divers. Weird red outline on both her and the machine I'm guessing she brought with her… Not an EL- Diver. Or any type of Diver. What a fascinating problem…"

"And you can tell all that just by looking?" Theta asked.

"They call me a digi-detective for a reason!" ZeTa winked and did a 'v' sign with a hand.

"That explains the renamon avatar…" Lambda noted, the irony of sitting at a table with halo pelican and nightingale aeromorphs not lost on her.

"Well, either way, I'll be taking a closer look at her for you." ZeTa said, before walking to where Raven sat.

621 saw the fox woman approach, and put the tiny gunpla aside. "This fucking place has so many weirdos…" She grumbled.

"Yep, it sure does. I'm Zeta, and I've been… not exactly hired but whatever, to help you." The fox tilted her head and offered her hand.

"Raven. I don't know shit about how I got here." 621 stated, tentatively reaching for the Zeta's hand.

The moment their hands touched, everything got jumbled. It lasted hours or perhaps centuries. Then stopped.

"Curious." Zeta remarked, watching as both of them glitched. "Well, the good news is your massive excess data is no longer threatening-"

"What the fuck? Does that even mean?"

"GBN's servers can't handle digital life forms like us-"

"I'm not fucking digital!" 621 argued, having only taken in half the meaning.

"…so, I had to make you a proxy body irl, take your data offline, and log you back in before the system could parse you'd gone." Zeta explained confusingly. "And, I should mention, I'll need to do it to your mech the same way so you can keep using it."

"AC. And, thanks? I think?" 621 had set a first new record for least swearing in a few sentences this loop… Is it actually a time loop anymore, anyway?

ARMORED CORE: VERTICAL INVERSION/BUILD DIVERS: BEYOND THE ASHES CH001-SEG01 - BROKEN WINGS CAN'T FLY

DANGER! ANOMALY DETECTED! "Tell me something fucking NEW!" C4-621 snarled. Her AC entered assault boost, tearing through the coral haze towards her target. Left strafe. Right strafe. Right strafe. Sharp left turn. Fire the plasma rifle. Reverse boost.

Clnk! WHSSH! A massive blast of energy tore through the space 621 had almost charged through. A comm channel opened abruptly. V.IV Rusty…? "Hey, buddy. Can't let you have all the fun up there. Adjusting target, loading next shell…" This timeloop bullshit was getting on 621's nerves.

Her AC stepped forward. And again. And again. AC Detected… name: NINEBALL SERAPH That wasn't an AC she'd encountered on or near Rubicon before…

THNK THNK!! She instinctually fired the SONGBIRDS in tandem. But it was already gone.

"What do you fight for, Raven?" CLANG! It kicked her AC in the back. "Money? Power? Glory?"

Clnk! WHSSH! "For Rubicon." Rusty Answered.

"Interference… I'll be back for you, Raven." Nineball stated, diving out one of the holes left by Rusty's marksmanship.

"GET BACK HERE, MOTHERF-!" 621 yelled. The floor, or maybe ceiling of the the orbital station erupted under her AC, sending her flying out into open space.

"Have a nice flight, freelancer…" Iguazu's voice echoed over the comms…

She drifted through space for months, or maybe hours…

Warning! Atmospheric entry intiated! "…Damnit." She began the eject sequence. Which was, for emergency purposes, far too many inputs to prime quickly.

Thmp! The sequence was a few switches and a button short of being done, and the impact had shoved her back into the seat. At least it was cushioned enough to not hurt.

She got back up, and flipped the switches. Then she stared for a minute at the button. "I'm asking for a less fucking complicated eject sequence next time." She resolved before slapping the button. Immediately getting thrust back into the seat. Then hitting her head on the highly rubberized, and thank the fucking stars it is, edge of the control panel.

clunk. clunk. clunk. clunk. whsssh. The core pod opened. 621 sat up inside, then rubbed her head. "Ugh… Hate landings like that more than I hate just losing the whole AC…"

She glanced outside the pod. Then processed the mechanical humanoid stood outside, and looked again. "Who the fuck are you?"

\`event active: dimension break\` The notification was sudden. Theta stared at it for a minute, before menuing to summon her gunpla, the EZ-FA.

The Texas desert zone remained relatively silent for a few minutes. Then the radar picked up an inbound signal. Friend or foe? Unclear.

Theta activated EZ-FA's sniper visor. whrrr, clunk! Heat signature. 100 miles northeast-east, 500 up? 450. 400... trajectory projection... too close! whrrr, clunk! Don't need long range optics engaged for this!

She stepped on the thrust pedal. Anywhere would be better than in the open near an expected crash site of something falling from space. She lamented not having logged in with a high mobility loadout, but that was still in development (half-built and sitting on her gunpla table IRL).

Impact. Shrapnel and sand. EZ-FA's durability decreased sharply.

EZ-FA turned to face the impact crater, decelerating from 'frantic escape' to 'cautious approach'.

EZ-FA's cockpit opened, and Theta climbed out to make the descent into the crater, the molten sand burning at her legs and hand as she slid down. Thankfully, other than the simulated sensations, she was in no real danger.

The unknown machine was roughly half the size of most gunpla, which was still huge, maybe 10 foot, next to a human-sized body. Theta didn't want to think how big it would look from a haro-sized point of view. The chest opened, and launched a pod. It landed in the sand, then slid back down the edge of the crater, coming to a rest at the machine's feet.

Theta approached. clunk. clunk. clunk. clunk. whsssh. It opened.

A heavily bandaged girl with white and red hair sat up inside the pod, then rubbed her head. "Ugh... Hate landings like that more than I hate just losing the whole AC..." she complained.

She glanced at Theta with her red and pink eyes. Then did a double take. "Who the fuck are you?"

Part 3

They exit the train on a random platform in the middle of a forest.

"Namjoon, where the hell are we?" Anrea asked curiously with an authoritative tone in her voice. He chuckled, "Close to my home."

"Huh? I thought-"

Namjoon hopped off the platform and reached up, "This is why I told you not to wear something flashy. Come, we have to make it before dark." She nodded, her full trust in Namjoon.

She hopped into his arms and he let her down on the ground softly, "While we walk, Can I tell you some stuff?" She hummed as they walked hand in hand, over the cracked pavement with grass and weeds poking through.

They entered the treeline on a beaten path, the trees, plants and weeds brushing them like outstretched hands.

"I told you I grew up in Seoul with no parents, right?"

She hummed again, gently moving a tree branch from her face.

"Well, it was partially true. I have no parents, but I did the majority of my growing up- Here."

He stepped forward and disappeared into the foliage. Slightly frightened, Anrea pushed forward and stumbled into a clearing. She froze as she saw Namjoon's clothes on the ground.

She blinked rapidly and looked up into the field.

About 10 feet away sat a giant white and black wolf about a foot taller than Namjoon. She stepped back and fell onto her ass, "Namjoon!" She yelled as her head whipped around in fear that caused her heartbeat to race.

The wolf broke the grass and walked closer to her. She screamed more, putting up her shaky hands.

But nothing scary happened.

The wolf plopped down in front of her, scratching its neck before sitting still, it's ear twitching.

She pulled her hands back and leaned back on them, "W-Where's my boyfriend?!" She squeaked more to herself than the wolf but it turned to her and panted, its tail wagging fast.

She looked at the clothes, the grass, then the wolf. She looked back and forth a few times before gasping, "Namjoon?!" She shouted at the wolf. It barked and wagged its tail.

She quickly engulfed the wolf in a hug, "You fucking scared me!" She said, hugging him and crying. She felt arms wrap around her, "I'm sorry Noona, I didn't mean to scare you. I just didn't know how to tell you, so I showed you." She sniffled and pulled away, blushing at his toned chest and huge biceps.

"I needed to show you my family before we consummate. I've really been wanting to make love with you." She blushed and chuckled, "So blunt." She smacked his shoulder and they both chuckled. "Wanna ride?" He asked, backing up and shifting into his wolf again before sitting down for her to climb on. She stood up, grabbed his clothes and straddled his back.

He huffed and kicked his back legs, making her press into his fur and hold on. He grunted and took off trotting before full fledged running into the woods.

Part 4

They came to a stop and Namjoon sat down, making her slide off his back. She giggled and crawled around him, "Your clothes." She offered the fabric and Namjoon took it, shuffling back into the woods and changing into his human form before walking out and helping her from the ground.

"So this is why you love nature so much, you grew up in it." She stated as she looked around at the little village, all the houses were either huts or small cabins. Namjoon nodded and held her hand as he led her toward the banner over the main trek in front of the village, "It says Blood Wolf Village." She hummed in awe at the language she really didn't know.

It was different from Korean and English, the language looked more like it had runes for letters.

As soon as they stepped under the banner the people around them tilted their heads back, inhaling deeply. "

Alpha Namjoon!" Multiple people shouted.

They began to crowd them and Namjoon smiled at each of them, when someone parted the crowd.

"OH THANK THE GODDESS YOU'RE BACK!"

They turned to see a plump lipped man walking through the crowd that parted for him.

He hugged Namjoon and clapped a hand on his back. Namjoon smiled and hugged him back, "Bam, it's been too long. Your scent is refreshing." The man chuckled, "I can't lie and say anything differently."

"Oh, I want you to meet my mate, Anrea."

All attention turned towards the short tan skinned, curly haired woman, making her face light up bright red. "Wow, a mate?" The man asked. "She's human."

Namjoon shrugged, "She has the scent. I couldn't help but court her after we first spoke." The man smiled, "Is this the first time you've met our kind?" He asked, "Yes."

"You're not scared?" She shook her head, "When I first met his new form, absolutely. But it doesn't matter, I've accepted everything he's thrown at me before. I can accept this," She tugged his arm a little and squeezed his bicep, "I love him."

The man hummed and looked like he forced his next smile, "Well, it'll be a little harder than it would be if she was a wolf, so be careful." Namjoon nodded, smiling and bowing to everyone before leading her towards the biggest cabin.

"N-Namjoon?"

He turned to her from the closet, "Yes Noona?" She bit her lip, "H-Have there been human mates before?" He nodded, "Plenty. Every year there are about 20 human mates in the pack, because the goddess doesn't want us to lose the humanity in us. This is the first time in 60 years that the pack alpha has had one though."

She blinked, "I-I have to tell you something." He walked over and sat next to her, smelling her fear and the faint scent he's been smelling for the last year but hasn't brought it up.

"I'm sick."

Namjoon hummed, urging her to go on.

"Th-The doctors say it's a tumor, on my heart. I went to see them yesterday... I have about a year left." Tears left her eyes and landed on their intertwined hands.

Namjoon inhaled and exhaled slowly, "I knew you were sick, but I wanted you to be ready to tell me. I'm glad you told me and I didn't have to find out when you leave me."

Anrea sniffled as he pulled her into his chest, "Shh. I'll spend every single day with you, loving you, hmm?" She nodded and held him close. "I know death is scary, but we'll find each other in the next life, the moon goddess will not allow the pack alpha to be broken hearted."

"Namjoon?" He hummed. "Can we try tomorrow? I wanna try to at least give you one pup." He froze for a second before sighing and holding her tighter.

"Of course."

SCP#: AGJ

Code Name: The Black Boned Hero of the Sarkic Cult

Object Class: Prodosa

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-AGJ is one of the strongest members of the Eternal Crimson Army making containment nearly impossible. Furthermore SCP-AGJ is excellent at stealth and escape further delaying the Foundation's attempts to contain him. Though no containment procedures will be made as of yet, the Foundation is to continue monitoring him every chance possible. Should he ever be spotted MTF Tau-5, MTF Zeus-1, MTF Hades-4, MTF Hecate-A, and MTF Alpha-9 are to be considered for deployment as these are the only MTFs that can stand against SCP-AGJ. 

Description: SCP-AGJ is an albino child of Botswana ethnicity who, despite his pale white skin, has no irritation or sensitivity to light. His eyes are crimson red yet similar to that of a lizard but unidentifiably to any known species. SCP-AGJ is an extremely unique and powerful Sarkite born from two separate clans within the Eternal Crimson Army. For those that don't know, the Eternal Crimson Army is a collection of several Proto-Sarkic Clans joined together into a single large and powerful clan. It is unknown how many of Sarkic Clans make up the Eternal Crimson Army but they the first ever Sarkic related force to almost stand toe to toe against the Horizon Initiative, the SCP Foundation, and Global Occult Coalition separately. 

Unfortunately, SCP-AGJ's existence has only further proven their might as he is one of their strongest members. He possesses the anomalous ability to make pitch black bones grow from any part of his body mostly resembling ferocious blades. Though SCP-AGJ is able to make them resemble whatever he wants, whether it be blades, giant skeletal fists, skeletal spine tentacles, bone armor, and even skeletal wings. These Black Bones are sharp enough to cut through titanium and strong enough to repel common bullets, explosives, and even steel blades.

Naturally engraved the black bones are common and even uncommon sigils of the Sarkic Religion. These sigils have the ability to enhance SCP-AGJ's current abilities while also inflicting curses on those he attacks. Such curses include loss of senses, bleeding form all orifices, combustion, necrosis, infection of parasitic eggs, and infection of a random disease. There are quite possibly many more curses but its proven extremely difficult to record such instances without having Foundation staff dying. 

Of course, these runes also enhance SCP-AGJ's abilities such as flight, increased strength, increased durability, increased speed, telekinesis, manipulation of all elements, creation of a few elements, and immunity to most if not all hazards. All of this has made SCP-AGJ an unstoppable killing machine among even the most powerful Sarkic Clans and has made the Eternal Crimson Army unrivaled to most Groups of Interest. Naturally this has made him be seen as a messiah among his people and even a candidate for one of the Four Karcists that will stand alongside the Grand Karcist of the Eternal Crimson Army. As far as the Foundation is aware, no such being exists within the Eternal Crimson Army yet.

SCP-AGJ was discovered in 2007 when the peace agreement made after SCP-AUX was extinguished finally voided. The Global Occult Coalition took the opportunity to go after the Eternal Crimson Army. They located one of their largest underground hives to be in the African country of Botswana and immediately sent Strike Team-2828: "D-Soldiers" to annihilate them. The Strike Team suffered massive casualties despite being a force comprised of super soldiers specifically created to kill Sarkic forces. The GOC reported the existence of SCP-AGJ and that it was him who did the most damage. Since then, the Eternal Crimson Army has been placed on a watch list for the ACPA as a new potential threat. 

Unfortunately, the Eternal Crimson Army is also in possession of several Crimson Leviathans. Because of this they can move large portions of their population anywhere around the world underground and even through the sea. This has only made SCP-AGJ and by extension the Eternal Crimson Army more difficult to contain let alone deal with. Which in turn has raised their danger level as unlike normal Sarkites which attack at first sight, they liked to hide and stay safe making them extremely unpredictable and dangerous.

Some Administrative Staff are considered whether it should be considered to try to ally with the Enteral Crimson Army again and use our mutual hatred of the GOC as a union point. Though for obvious reasons there are more in favor of assisting the GOC in annihilating the majority of the Eternal Crimson Army and finally containing SCP-AGJ.

the map of infinity was wild as hell: an analysis

ok, let's get this out of the way first: there's no reason why Professor Paradox had to make the Map of Infinity other than "for fun".

which makes sense! he’s immortal, he’s been travelling for a while, and he’s likely very, very, very bored. anything he does is probably to chase new stimuli. his sense of morality is off, from human standards.

it's the complete space-time map of 17 different dimensions, which Paradox doesn't technically need, since he has the Chrononavigator and his own innate time powers. he doesn't even need it to reach the Forge of Creation, since he can literally just like, walk there whenever. Paradox was the person that made the barrier between the Forge and the rest of the Universe in the first place. was it even always outside of the universe? did he send it out there? I imagine it sort of went like this:

"boy, am I bored today!"

"let's see if I can make an in-depth map of a bunch of different dimensions"

fought Celestialsapiens when he reached the Forge of Creation, K6BD-style. they can't kill him (his powerset matches up well against theirs) and he can't kill them all (and they’re starting to mess with his time plans), so eventually they agree to a treaty. he found the war sorta fun

Map Piece 1. Mykdl'dy

gesundheit. if you don’t remember this planet, it’s the half hot/half cold one that Paradox made a death trap temple on, which is now guarded by Necrofriggian cultists.

"welcome to my crib....... I enjoyed creating brutalism-inspired shapes of dark grey prisms against the ever-changing backdrop of ice and fire. in front are two statues of a mysterious person in robes, because I thought it would look cool. within are some dastardly traps that I designed myself, so watch out! the Necrofriggian colonists making a religion out of it wasn't my intention though. it's just a coincidence that they're the same species as the statues! I felt like the high point of this temple is dragon-wyrm that I created! the acid is a fantastic extra touch.”

it seems like he decorated the inner parts the most, lovingly, with his shade of blue, used a bunch of magical spells (presumably; elaborated on later) for that part too, then realized that it would be a bit of a pain decorating the rest of the place and made the rest plainer. I wonder if he made it all himself, or like, hired some dudes

Map Piece 2. Piscciss

it’s hidden as the anti-gravity multiplier that holds Piscciss together.

“huh?” you might ask. “why would that piece have that power?”

I don’t know, maybe they all had that power or something. maybe if Aggregor just took one and started blasting everyone with anti-gravity the arc would be over way faster. maybe it’s magic. maybe Paradox is fucking with you.

“wait???” you might ask next. “it’s hidden as WHAT????”

that’s right! this is the little thing that keeps Piscciss a planet and not a bunch of water filled with dead fish floating around in space. “haha yeah this works perfectly... trust me it's not a macguffin that will be stolen and break your planet apart and someone in the future will have to sacrifice an alien to replace it lol...” - Paradox handing the anti-gravity multiplier to the Piscciss Volann when they were making an artificial water planet for them to live on

either that or the Piscciss Volann stumbled on the piece in an unseen other death trap temple, found its powers, and decided to use it, which sort of goes against the whole “Paradox hid all the pieces” thing if he simply never checked up on them

Map Piece 3. Perplexahedron

I know they went to Ledgerdomain third but that is saved for the end because it’s fucking mental. so we’re gonna talk about the Perplaxahedron. it’s the cube from Cube (1997).

if you don’t know what that is, it’s an absolutely huge artificial planet/building that’s entirely made of death traps. each new room is an exciting and fresh way to die. invigorating! while it does have a simple design, it’s efficient at what it does, and the clinical nature adds to the theme of being an unknowable deadly object. that’s what he probably describes it as anyways. again, did he build all of that himself? can I make a “Paradox construction squad” OC?

maybe Paradox made these dudes to help build the place, and kept them around as guards, because that’s efficiency.

this dude’s sole purpose in life is to wait there and hand over the Map of Infinity piece to whoever’s smart enough to get inside. I assume Paradox made him, because he disappears from reality like ten minutes after he hands it out, but Paradox has hired people to be guards in his temples before. the pay must be really good. maybe their culture is like that. maybe he didn’t disappear and actually it was an actor to squeeze the most drama out of the universe.

anyways, if he was real, Ben basically ruined his life before he died by tossing out the very important piece of the Map to Aggregor for basically no reason. oops!

Map Piece 4. Ledgerdomain

“he can reach the Forge of Creation. so obviously he can reach Ledgerdomain, a dimension of pure mana. what’s the problem?” well, there’s really no problem. it’s quite cool! no, what’s wild is that nobody really thinks about the ramifications of this piece of the Map of Infinity. for a refresher, this is what it’s hidden as:

“It is an object as old as time itself, through which all magic flows. It is the keeper of the true name of [Ledgerdomain]; source of ultimate power! And it is mine!“ - Charmcaster

the secret true name of magic. if you have it, you have power over magic itself.  it can revive the dead or instantly kill people. that power corrupts its wielder easily. also, if it’s removed from Ledgerdomain, the realm loses all natural entry/exit points, destabilizes, and begins the crumble. that’s right! it’s the Alpha Rune.

Paradox is confirmed to have actually made the Alpha Rune, not just hidden a piece as the Rune. I implore you to think about what that entails.

he knows magic (3-page minicomic I made about that topic). he doesn’t just know magic, he knows the secret name of magic, automatically making him a disgustingly powerful mage. either that or it’s possible to get the secret name of magic without knowing magic, which is fine too, but just being around the Alpha Rune makes you able to cast spells. he probably ripped the Alpha Rune from the Omniverse and bound it to his will because he had nothing else better to do that day. could he make even more Alpha Runes (even if they’re weaker copies), since it knows it already? did making it into Rune form rip it from his own mind? I like to think that the reason why he can’t lie is because if he does, his latent magical abilities will automatically attempt to cast a spell to make it real.

here are three ways you can interpret “Paradox made the Alpha Rune”.

he found the secret name of magic and made the Alpha Rune out of it

he literally made the secret name of magic. i.e. he made magic itself. that would be wild as hell.

the writers didn’t really think about the ramifications of any part of the Map of Infinity past “cool artifact”, which, to be honest, fair enough.

I’ve made reference sheets for all eight of my OCs! So I don’t blow up the dashboard, I’ll put each under the readmore with a basic quick summary of each character. It took me 3 days to make all eight of them! I’m proud of myself that I got them all done, heh.

Lailah Jadestrike is a “human” mage corrupted with the magic sickness known as Vis. Vis is supposedly holy magic, although through observation it appears to be created due to a lack of bad magic, or Flux, in one’s system. Lailah doesn’t appear to age, and claims to be 28 years old whenever asked about it. Her necklace works as a magic regulator, saying the approximate levels of her magic before it starts to corrupt her back.

Theodore Ethereal is of a space-based race known as Niternians, known for their dexterity and strength. He, strangely, cannot seem to use magic due to having some magic-like ability lying dormant in his system, but his Thaumium Sword more than makes up for it. His appearance is rather androgynous by human standards, and thus makes it quite helpful for infiltration missions.

Seven is a being of questionable source with a strange corruption within his blood. He does not remember much from his past, but he assumed he was, at one point, human. He’s a medic by trade with knowledge in both healing magic and medical means. His corruption works like a doorway to him, allowing him to move between two locations and store items within the corruption, or even set traps that are unable to be disabled.

Alpha is a robot designed by Theo and eventually became “human” in a sense. He is a walking, talking arsenal of magic weapons and abilities baked into his system like code. He currently is on the eighth version, and Theo and Alpha worked together to rebuilt and repair all prior versions. They’re all still Alpha, but still maintain all their personality traits from when they were the main version.

Ender MaDrego is a “human” mage corrupted with Flux and crafted of Living Death. She, through an incident in her past which granted her and Lailah immortality, ended up being both dead and alive upon returning to reality. Living Death, unlike the undead, is next to impossible to create and gives the beings with that power a surprising amount of reality-altering skills... not that Ender knows how to use those beyond levitation and illusions.

Alren Enoir is a once-was leader of a Council of the Cosmos, but due to a god-like being hell-bent on destroying the universe taking control of his mind, upon being freed from the control, he stepped down from his position. His main weapon is mind-magic called Psionics, is a skill that his race of Ethereals have naturally. He’s beginning to learn some magic through Lailah and Ender mentoring him, but for now, he just has a Trident of the Depths at his side.

Monolisa, or Mona, is a Monolithoid from the Fabric of Reality between the dimensions on Aubos. She doesn’t age, can tear holes into the realm of Limbo with ease, and generally doesn’t listen to the laws of physics. She ended up being dragged from Limbo by the same god-like monster that had Alren’s mind captive, and upon being released, decided to step out into reality and learn more about reality itself. Her “evil” tome is comprised of strange runes that can’t be read by anyone, although sometimes it shifts its words to be readable by the person holding it.

Victoria King, also known as Vic, is a human with the ARMS gene, making her arms springy and extendable (ARMS is the game they come from). Her “alter-ego” Tordori is from her time in the ARMS League before ending up with Lailah and the others. Her mask and eyepatch allow her to more readily control her ARMS, otherwise they’d just uncoil on their own when coiled up, or become unusable when uncoiled. Her main weapons are the three “fists” that she has, as well as anything she can hold in her normal hands so long as it doesn’t impede her ability to retract her ARMS. Sleeves generally make it troublesome to coil them back up, so if she needs to use them, she uses her battle gear and mask.

All eight of these morons are in a group referred to as “The Aubosians”, as people from the planet Aubos. Problem is... only half of them are Aubosian, and one of those were made by a spaceman on Aubos so it’s iffy if he is or isn’t. Through Aubos’ own magic, they all technically become Aubosian through relation to it.

There are several games I based concepts of these lot from! The games are Minecraft (specifically modded), XCOM: Enemy Within, SCP: Containment Breach, and ARMS! Or at least those are the MAIN ones. I’m not gonna specify how, but you can assume Vic is the ARMS idiot while Alren is the XCOM idiot, sharing his race name with the Ethereals, as are his robes... sort... of... Anyway, references!

I think it’s about time that I got some Ben 10: Omniverse stuff up on here! These two are my ocs Krystal and Aphelion. I have had Krystal for a long, long time but I never knew where I really wanted to fit her in until Omniverse came about and the fifth season rolled in introducing the Anur system and I was like, ‘Hey, this is something I can work with...’ XD. So here we go! As for Aphelion the bug to create a Vladat oc finally bit hard enough that I went with it. The two headshots may be a bit different but I wanted some references to go off of and they were drawn straight through without really wanting to think how they were supposed to come out. Basically I pulled what I saw in my mind and put it on the screen. Now to introduce you to these two! (Look under the read more to continue.)

Krystal

Name: Krystalline "Krystal" Domva

Age: Earth equivalent of 17 years old

Colors: Orange/White

Eye color: Orange

Personality: She is a very kind and caring being that always wants to help others and always wants to see the brighter picture about things. She is a bit naive when it comes to a lot of things since she's never been off of her home world and experienced things that are different to what she's known all of her life. She can be somewhat scared easily and has a hard time comprehending why something scared her. She has a gentle soul about her and has the purity of a truly good-natured being that can do no wrong.

History: Krystal was born on Anur Seraph, the closest planet to the Anur System's sun and the furthest from the other planets in the system, being born into the royal family as a princess. As soon as she was born her parents knew that she was going to be a special little girl as she was born with white and orange hair and beautiful orange eyes. To them orange was a rare color to be born with and that meant she was going to have something special about her that was unique to her alone. As she was growing as a young child it was clearly seen that she had a pure heart about her and she always wanted to see the bright side to things no matter how bad or awful they were. When it came time for her wing ceremony the crystal core recognized her pure heart and spirit and as her crystals were fused into her back it granted her a very beautiful set of crystal wings as a reward and as a promise from her to continue seeing things as bright as possible and to always help others that need her help. Four years pass and she has grown into a beautiful young woman with a completely pure soul and a heart of innocence and gold, always willing to help anyone out no matter how hard the task might be. She has always loved her planet with all of her heart but she's always had a yearning to go off-world and see places that she's always heard about but it was a bit difficult since her parents were worried about what was happening with the rest of the system and she didn't want to add to those worries. But she knew that one day she would get her wish and be able to have a grand adventure that she would be able to remember for a long, long time.

Aphelion

Name: Aphelion

Race: Vladats

Colors: Blue violet/Gray/Black

Eye Color: Light gray

Personality: Is unlike other Vladats because he considers himself more of a lover instead of a cruel and bloodthirsty creature. In his past he was like his fellow Vladats in how they acted but that changed when he realized what they were doing to the inhabitants of Anur Transyl was wrong, making him question everything he was taught to be right. After that he instead embraces who he wants to be: a being who would rather love then scorn and belittle others that he never considers less than he is and follows a strict mental focus to keep his hunger in check and not harm the ones close to him. He is a rather big romantic at heart and fully believes in the power of true love, hoping that he finds it one day with someone that will see past the label of his species and see him for the kind and gentle soul that he is.  

History: Aphelion was born on Anur Transyl, long after his race's abandonment of their former home world, and was quickly raised to be like the rest of his people: cruel, bloodthirsty, and believing that he was far superior to the Transylians that inhabited the planet alongside them. That is until he begins to mature and starts to see through a new perspective all the pain, suffering, and fear his people has caused and it made him sick to think that they thought that this was how to about their way of life. When he came of age and started out on his own he secretly began to turn his back on his own people to free the Transylians from their oppression during the war that was between them. He managed to be successful for some time until his efforts were found out and was captured then brought before Lord Transyl for his punishment. Deciding to make an example of him Transyl imprisoned Aphelion deep below Anur Transyl's soil in an impenetrable coffin, never to be seen or heard from again. During that time the war ended and his people were wiped out he was forgotten and his coffin slipped through the ground and landed into a small cave deep below, continuing to rest there as time goes on. What feels like an eternity later when Zs'Skayr used the power of the Alpha Rune to bring Lord Transyl back some of the residual energy zaps through the ground and into the cave, hitting the coffin and unlocking it freeing Aphelion from his imprisonment. Certainly dazed and confused by what had just happened he remembered what had happened to him and growling in fury he vowed to get his revenge once he got his hands on Transyl. Seeing where he was he slowly but surely gets back out to the surface of Anur Transyl and manages to find an old friend who's still alive and meeting up with that friend he is shocked to find out that the war was long over with, his people were wiped out, and what had happened between Zs'Skayr, Transyl, and a being named Ben Tennyson who has the power to be any alien that he chooses thanks to the power of a device known as the Omnitrix. Absolutely floored by that Aphelion is somewhat thankful that Transyl was getting what he deserved but he had a gut feeling that he would find a way to escape and seek his revenge by any means necessary. A short time later he meets with Scout, explaining what had happened to him and in turn learns about the Plumbers and what they do. Finding it rather interesting he decides to team up with Scout to keep Anur Transyl safe from any that dare try to bring harm to their home.
