I have such a soft spot for Jelly looking after prickly smol Alonzo! Also a glimpse of Munk and Bill Bailey shimmying at each other there in the first gif, we love. And Skimble and Deme is always lovely.

2022 international tour, their first performance in Munich (1 June 2022). I think they're all first cast: so, Sebastian Goffin as Alonzo, Aimee Hodnett as Jellylorum, Frances Dee as Demeter, Philip Bertioli as Skimbleshanks, Russell Dickson as Munkustrap, and our beloved Aaron Hunt as Bill Bailey.

(Also Tanto and Admetus up on the car are cute.)

Riccardo Sinisi is back in the theatre with the Vienna cast of cats!

And he's covering Alonzo, snuggling with Alexander Auler, adoring Denise Jastraunig, and trashing George Maniadis. (While Dominik Hees tries to ignore them all in the background.) Business as usual, basically!

‘Griz and Alz’ episode 11: The One With The Other Diva.

Jellicle-ships, I am in need of your assistance!!

I’m providing rare-pair ship content, and I’ve met my match, Jellylorum X Alonzo! I cannot find pictures of any two of those character’s actors together, so if you could supply a gif, or a pic, it would be much appreciated!! 💛💛💛

All we have for that one are under the tag - I don't think we've found anymore since that haven't been posted!

What do you think about Alonzo x Jellylorum (Alonzorum) ?

Adorable! Look at they!

A bit of an odd couple at first - the slinky, snarky, showy, flirty boy and the gentler (older?) queen who spends most of her time in the background, or supporting / singing about other cats. But I think they'd find an interesting sort of stability in each other.

He's very confident in his physical abilities - fighting, dancing, flirting, the use of his own body - but not so much in his choices and judgement, always looking to somebody (usually Munkustrap or Deuteronomy or even Tugger) for affirmation. She's more mature emotionally, but less physically energetic, choosing not to join in most of the vigorous dances. So in many ways the protector and caretaker could protect and care for each other - and perhaps mellow him a little, taking off some of his sharp edges!

We might even get to see some more of his rarely-glimpsed goofy side...

In a lot of productions they stick close to each other...

... and often have very sweet background interactions, like this during the Jellicle ball, when he slinks all the way across the stage just to settle down with her for some nuzzles (Dutch tour, Breda 2007).

She's one of the few cats allowed to be cuddly or nuzzly with him, or to groom and tidy this tidiest of cats!

They make each other happy. Good for them.

And when Bombalurina and Munkustrap are distracted...

... Jelly can run after the baby protectors to keep them out of trouble!

Screaming and crying and Bombastrap is just so good and especially with Protector!Bomba as a hc that I tend to always have but even if that isn't subscribed to its hard to deny that she's a protective figure for cats like demeter and jemibub and hhnnnngggghhhhhhh they shoulder their weights TOGETHER and they let their facades down around EACH OTHER and they KNOW the other will have their back in any kind of situation like they could have just had a fight and they still wouldn't even think to doubt the other would back them up and dhsjfbskfjsofjdbfodSGJUSUDUC
