There were lots of things happening and some of them mattered and some of them didn't, but it was hard to tell which was which since they were all constantly happening.

I push myself a lot. I am always trying to push past, through or around something, even when I don't have to or need to. It's a mindset that I'm trying to unlearn by embracing balance. I need to let go of the idea that everything has to be done right now and all at once. There is wisdom to be found in taking my time with things and enjoying the act of learning. There is beauty to be found in the dance. 🕺 Card from The Book of Shadows Tarot. #tarot #tarotreadersofinstagram #tarottribe #BookofShadows #bookofshadowstarot #dance #balance #pushthrough #hardonmyself #everything #allatonce #spiritualaf #sparkleon #shinebright #likeadiamond #cardoftheday https://www.instagram.com/p/CphtV4pu7Il/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Release Rundown - Arab Strap and BIG SPECIAL
Words: Ben Forrester Arab Strap – I’m totally fine with it 👍 don’t give a fuck anymore 👍(Rock Action) 2021 brought us the first Arab Strap album in 16 years! Following a well received reunion tour, Scotland’s finest grumps put their money where their mouths were and came back with arguably their best record. Not only did it open up a whole new fanbase that had missed them first time round, but…

Evelyn, at first, looks at the life of Kung Fu Evelyn and in awe, her first reaction is to tell Waymond how good her life was without him, how much she would have prefered it is obvious. She immediately assumes he would have been in America and very poor again, it doesnt cross her mind he would be also top of his game Megababe Waymond. and even at the height of his success, even without having been granted a sight of the multiverse, then and there he admits he would prefer a life where the of them could do laundy and taxes together. not only putting those two on the same level, but valuing the life Evelyn would have left without looking back.
Evelyn truly was lucky to have been granted a kind and forgiving person to help her flaws. a fighter.

“ehm, idk tbf.”/
{...}
what it used to feel like -
someone else? swims;
coffee from a mug empty
sometime now;
silence spoken;
sliding in the slick of arguments,
losing my-self to fall into space where where
when were
cogency comes
transparent.
everything&everyone&everywhere;
"allatonce" ---
who’re-you?
me, you.?
uwho shaped me.
who
clogged my lungs with years I'll miss,
places I'll pass.
highest ground we could find to climb;
missing the trees and the quiet moments,
between red & green lights.
I miss the pond, nature's
backyard, readingwriting life;
peace in the honest outline of a structure.
free-base.
plucking pieces of me out of those pages, out of your hair, the sheets.
still finding bobby pins on my bedroom floor.
perfectly shiny superstructure;
panic attacks,
long nights,
paint over the art;
work.
or tear:
through it. shaking,
the border & melting the hues.
burning. curling.
pain’s colour?
breath [...]
inoutinoutinoutinoutinoutinoutinoutinoutinoutoutout,
breathe
life? is love enough?
dumb silly desire
up-down, up-down, open-close, open-close, close close close close close close it.
breaking.
temporality and territory lose meaning;
ontology & epistemology & etymology make me feel better about myself.
that's pedantic.?
roots, digging,
layers.
coats over sweaters over button-down shirts over emotions over thoughts over desires,
over me.
melodramatic&
taciturn-trembling;
"you're always sad.”
{...}
but not when we got lost in Acadia;
or together on the beach,
listening for footsteps to ruin the intimacy of our shared memory.
cuz that one is ours.
I got lost in the We;
in the Ours of the Hours that created the Ours and then, & then, destroys it, sometimes,
poetics of compassion,
grace
open time to
talk,
diachronic destruction…?
"fuck me."
[?]
the windows are blackening and
smoking over; can’t see.
roof fell in. can’t feel. buried.
ship-wreck as spectator of our memories melting;
concrescence of waves' water like
broken splinters of glittering sparkle;
back to decembers roses;
memory,
masked there on that mess-of-beach.
base moves to moans;
screams echo up-down-x, reverberating
back. louder. louder. louder?
sleeps sometimes,
cacophony.
repressive desublimation;
breath in.blue.
breath out.red.
find a space. our space.ur-space, the third place, a good place;
calm water & calm trees & calm moments & calm thoughts.
mountains we climbed.
sick yellow-green sooty soupy haze; suffocates,
i fell in.
bubbles burst;
reality implodes;
i hope we go back someday.
we're the only ones in the world who know where/
it is.

[ad_1] Arab Strap I’m completely wonderful with it don’t give a fuck anymore Rock Motion Might 09, 2024 Difficulty #72 - The ‘90s Difficulty with The Cardigans and Thurston Moore By Michael James Corridor The traditional bleep and buzz of dial-up opens and closes Arab Strap’s eighth and doubtless greatest album. These bookends serve to humorously demarcate the web realm that a lot of this report inhabits, whereas additionally nodding on the advancing age of its creators. It's a brutal, painful report by which all is misplaced, ugly, and hopeless. Additionally it is lovely and humorous. On the gorgeous “Allatonceness,” Aiden Moffat spits venom at “Antagonized fanboys / Whereas Nazis and rapists promote merch,” a savage, metallic post-rock buzz serving as backdrop to the narrow-eyed evaluation of a terminally corrupted tradition. “Summer season Season” inverts the enjoyment implied by the title, Moffat like Leonard Cohen with a four-pack of Particular Brew: “Sky is empty, sky is blue / That’s how I really feel too.” Setting the current aflame, lamenting the lack of youth, it takes a hell of a musical hook and grounds it with “I disappeared, however I’m pleased right here.” The lack of a lover, described as a lot within the language of a textual content message as bodily presence, is mourned on “You’re Not There,” whereas the lack of the narrator’s life—lonely, unnoticed, and uncelebrated—is hauntingly described on the devastating “Protected & Effectively.” “Strawberry Moon” takes candy beats, bruising bass and turns into bizarrely uplifting, New Order scrabbling within the gutter, Sufjan Stevens lurching right into a fist-pumping barroom belter. These are pop songs, in a approach, memorable, melodically superior at occasions, however fed by an unrelenting mincer of distress. Once we get a glint of sunshine on “Haven’t You Heard” (“I can be beside you / Don’t let zealots and fools divide you”) it’s a soothing reduction. “Flip Off the Gentle” closes the album with our narrator seemingly radicalized, or a minimum of warped by their newfound “neighborhood”—“Who wants household, who wants associates? / Why be compliant and weak? / I discovered my individuals now, we will not bend / We received’t flip the opposite cheek.” With Malcolm Middleton’s melancholic guitar at their coronary heart, and the anticipated self-awareness that typifies their greatest work, it is a set of songs that provides no solutions, however observes circumstances and conduct plainly and poetically in flip. It’s punishing in its bleakness, wry in its humor, and surprisingly musically triumphant. “Your ideas and opinions aren't your individual,” Moffat declares on “Sociometer Blues” and it feels, identical to this album, that it’s one thing all of us want to listen to. (www.arabstrap.scot) Creator score: 9/10 [ad_2] https://topstoryusa.com/entertainment/arab-strap-im-totally-fine-with-it-dont-give-a-fuck-anymore-rock-action-review-tsu/?feed_id=1699&_unique_id=6643636f52736
