okay so if the romance route happens somehow, he would be taking you out on a casual date during your break days or even his. depending on your schedules.

but his protective and cautious instinct is still present as always. he wouldn't want anything to potentially harm you when he's trying to move on from his old life with you.

his trauma and his past still haunt him at times, so he's just so, so lucky and grateful that you're there with him even during his lowest moments.

if he ever works or something, you probably will join him so you both work together in a way ( if it's smth you're able to do ).

you both def would live together if you two finally got some stable jobs ( or if you're still studying somehow, part-time job then ); separating the bills smth like that so you both would pay in a fair amount for the monthly rent and even for the groceries stuff.

I think the people complaining about space baby all sound so entitled. I understand being surprised that it's a digital ticket first but to get angry at it is extreme. You're all going to still see it for free later on. You're not losing access to content. And if you crowdfunded it, you're still going to get it? The crowdfunding didn't promise you access to a livestream with all the shorts at once featuring a talkback, this is bonus. You backed them saying 'you believe in them to make it and here's the funds to do it because making things costs money' and you'll still get to see it for free if you don't want to spend more money on it. Calm down. This is independent art.

Imagine i was painting a picture and i didn't have the paint so i asked people to help fund me to buy the tools and they do. Then i put my painting in an exhibition (which i also give a talk at about the creation) that costs money if they want to see it there but i am still going to put it up for free afterwards so you're not losing out on anything. It's your choice if you want to visit the exhibition. It's just nice extra support where i could make some money not for the tools, but for me. To actually live off. It's a win-win.

Most people at starkid have second jobs. They are not making a huge living off this. Just because they're known, doesn't mean they're rich. If they didn't crowdfund things, they wouldn't be able to afford to make anything. They do it because they're passionate about it and then they stagger out the content to make a small profit (and once again, still showing it for free later on so no one is missing out). If 1000 people bought the ticket at $10 each, they're only making $10000. Which might sound a lot as a whole but when it's split between the people who are owed it and maybe put some towards a new project IF anything is leftover. People are going to barely get anything still. I need you all to realise how little they make from this. This isn't some evil greedy scheme.

Ask them for better communication (politely) if you want but don't whine that they're making events around this too. You're going to see them for free if you don't want to/can't afford to go to the livestream. Most theatre companies would never put their productions up for everyone to watch afterwards.

I just think your attitudes are going to exhaust them from doing this sort of thing more than the lack of money they make from it. It's emotionally draining to make something and just see people be like "umm why are you not giving this to me for free straight away, even though i am getting it free later but i demand you try to make nothing from this so i see it asap. Your art is for me, not for you." Because that is what you're sounding like, even if that is not what you mean. These are real people. Just talk to them nicely like a human being instead of coming across at entitled brats

Okayyyyy, so as much as I love the elriel corner here, most posts I see are about the ship war and explaining why elriel is canon and most logical for endgame.

But I've been thinking about Elain's book and specifically some non-elriel things I want to see in it. Let's discuss outside ships for once. Let's share what we each want to read about in her book.

Please no Crescent City spoilers though!! I haven't even read HOEAB yet 🙃🙃🙃

So, I keep thinking about Amren and her role in the series post-ACOWAR. She's been pretty useless beyond instigating High King ideas in Rhys' mind (🙄🤮 sorrynotsorry) and her sacrifice lost all its value when she was brought back to life, BUT, now that she's here to stay, I'd love to see her train Elain.

She's already worked with both Nesta and Feyre, and she knows some freaky things about their world, its creatures and its history, so not only would it be really nice to see her directly support Elain in a sort of mentor-mentee relationship, but she'd have a role as a character again.

We already know Elain isn't afraid of things everybody else seems to fear - eg Azriel himself and the naga-hounds - so I think she'd have a really interesting dynamic with Amren, whom people tend to avoid. Elain's already asked her some of the most blunt and candid questions, so it's only a matter of time before she starts digging for more answers about herself. And who better to provide information than the 10000 year old monster herself 👀

Amren's also the only person in the IC who more than once warned others not to underestimate Elain; she definitely sees her potential, and would probably enjoy exploring those powers with Elain as much as we'd enjoy reading about it. I think Amren would push Elain more than anyone else ever has, would actually treat her as an adult capable of great achievement and power in their court, and she could be instrumental to Elain's growth as a character and member of the NC. She would hone and utilise Elain as a unique, unexpected weapon, which would delve into Elain's potential and subvert what everyone thinks of her.

I know we all want Elain x Azriel training moments, eg where she sees so far into the beyond that she almost loses herself and he has to pull her back (😭🥰😭) but I personally think he shouldn't be her main trainer. Not least bc I don't want another Nessian story, and not even in the sense of personal fitness coaching or warrior training. It'd be cool if she learnt some techniques or gained some knowledge through Amren and then practised or discussed with Azriel, thereby giving them that intimate alone time where she might even voice her fears and misgivings about herself, her powers and her potential.

I also think it would upset the power dynamic if he always had all the answers and she always had to gain them from him. It'd be much more balanced if she learnt from elsewhere and they shared their knowledge and skills.

Plus, I don't think I could handle too many elriel training scenes. They'd look into each other's eyes seeking answers and I'd melt instantly at the depth of ardour they find. They'd blush and it'd be so soft and delicate and I just cannot 😭😭😭 Some Elain x Amren training scenes would be a good breather haha.

Besides Amren, I'd love to see Nuala and Cerridwen train Elain. We know they have been but I'd like to see what that looks like and how it even came about. Did Elain ask to learn some skill after seeing them do something she found fascinating eg walking through walls? Did they offer to teach her first? Or did she just absorb some of their tendencies by nature of spending so much time with them?

So many questions!!

OK, so I practiced strict fertility awareness method (FAM) for 15 years, with the goal of never, ever, EVER getting pregnant. I WAS empowered to understand my body's natural fertility, and it certainly DID result in empowering and effective family planning... but probably not in the way the PWHC Consortium intends. Because there is no way FAM can work if the woman in the equation is not 10000% the lead player in the process. She can't ask her man's permission-- he must ask hers, and her answer is sacrosanct.

Though my spouse & I practiced FAM together, MY body was the source of all our data, and MY body was the one that would host an unwanted embryo if we slipped up. I made goddamn sure we didn't slip up. All I had to do was remember my mother who had four kids she didn't want because the "rhythm method" prescribed by the priest was deliberately misstated to cause more pregnancy than it prevented... or her mother, my grandmother, who birthed a baby nearly every year of her marriage and died of heart failure with Number Six in her belly... Something tells me that the FAM taught by Pro Women Health Centers is DESIGNED to produce the same results. A baby a year until you drop, at which point you know which one of you they'll save.

I want every single woman on this earth to have access to HER choice of contraception-- the easiest, safest, simplest, most accessible, societally supported and governmentally guaranteed birth control that SHE ALONE CHOOSES, and it should be FREE OF CHARGE. Her method, her way. Not any other way but that.

gonna give some more crumbs because I could talk about this for hours, might have to talk about it throughout the week, get this whole idea going some more.

it's hard trying to think about who lewis and toto would side with because there's a lot of conflicting tension during this time. for lewis, again, he knows how both of them feel, he's been through this way before them and gets it. i think because gg is kinda like the lewis in this scenario, he sees a lot of himself in the way gg is during this. do i think he'd side with her?? again idk cause it's hard 😭😭 but i do think he'd probably have a small chat with her, he can see how she's trying to pull through during press conferences and everything but also knows she feel a bit upset deep down.

as for him and George? it takes him back to the nico days and I think he tries to present himself to George in a way that's professional but also still like a good mentor in all this. he doesn't want either of them to be feeling this way but he also knows that maybe it's done for between them.

as for toto?? OHHHH BOY. where to begin with him in all this. for one, i think both gg and george have different views on him during this. not only is toto gg's team principal but that's also the love of her life. she wants him to be supportive of her during all this through and through but whenever there's a time where she sees toto pulling George to the side in a light matter, it gets to her a bit imo. is he siding with him suddenly, what's the deal?

Because George already knows of the relationship between gg and toto at this time, it becomes even more difficult to try and maintain a good professional dynamic with Toto. Toto's always been good with him but it stings George whenever he sees how supportive toto is of GG. I think, for the moment, Toto has to remain as professional as possible which is already difficult. he doesn't like seeing this between two teammates, especially because one is his partner and the other he's formed such a good dynamic with.

i agree with you about lewis 10000% i think he would definitely try to remain as neutral as possible because at the end of the day, those two are his friends and he wants to preserve that friendship as much as he possibly can. but i feel like gg would be a little paranoid and distance herself from lewis until he states his loyalty or something of that nature.

gg is already going through a difficult time following the 2024 season, so her mental health is tanking. so of course she feels like the villain when lewis tries to have a conversation with her about what’s going on with george. i feel like she would have a little spat with lewis, but he knows not to take it personally because obviously she’s going through a hard time

and gg would definitely take little interaction that toto has with george as a sign of his loyalty to the british driver. after all, they had already been working together, so she feels like he has a commitment or some sort of pre-empt loyalty to george (does that make sense? idk)

the downfall of their relationship with definitely be the entire situation with george. gg would want him to pick a side, just as he made her choose between mercedes and williams.

and once he chooses his side? oh god. prepare for the fallout because it gets MESSY

Social FYI post: Kakaopage

So I see on various social media spaces the immense hatred of KKP lately, because their anti-piracy task force, P.cok is going around and throwing DMCAs at scanlation and translation groups. There's been more anger towards them lately because every time a series is axed or unexpectedly cancelled, western readers have a tendency to blame everything on kakaopage.

So this is an information post!

Misinformation: KKP axes series Answer: The publisher axes series Kakaopage is an online distributor, not a publisher (although they do have some shares/involvement in some series) and are for the most part, an online platform to share content. They're a platform that allows anyone, from novices to big publishing houses to post their content in an easy and accessible way. Other such platforms include Naver or Ridi.

To give an example, Kakaopage is like Amazon, or Barnes and Nobles (USA bookstore), or even wattpad. They host a ton of stuff, but don't necessarily own it. Back in 2017, it was reported that for all content sold, the revenue is shared between Google Play (30 %), Kakao (20 %), and the publisher (50 %). The publisher then distributes those profits to the manhwa teams.

As part of their agreements with various publishers, the p.cok anti-piracy task force was created to stop piracy and illegal distribution. Their intent is purely to keep things to the official sources, to make sure the publishers (like DAON, D&C, Carrotoon etc) get paid to pass on to the manhwa teams.

As such, over the past few years, Kakaopage has invested tremendously in legal ways to read their stories in various countries:

Korea

China (Podo, Lehzin)

USA or "english speaking countries" (Tapas, Tappytoon, Radish, Webtoon, manta etc)

Indonesia (KKP indonesia)

Japan (Piccoma)

Thailand

Tappy France

Tappy Germany

etc Misinformation: Kakaopage doesn't care about your language/country Answer: Slight truth, but the more accurate answer is "the publishers don't care about your language/country" As one might notice, this isn't a very comprehensive list of countries. That's the point. Kakaopage and the Korean publishers don't care about their readers in low-readership countries (or continents) like South America, Africa, the middle east, India, Vietnam, or the Phillipines. Because simply, it's too much to invest in countries/languages that won't have high enough readership. So they focus on the "richer" countries to invest in, with translations and localization. They literally do not care about readers not in their list of localization/countries, as these readers would not pay for their services in the first place. Capitalist societies do not want their products out there for free, and that's what piracy is - people reading for free when they could be paying to support the original authors. Misinformation: Supporting officially is expensive!! Answer: Not really When you break it down, not really. on the KKP app, if you want to rent a chapter for 72 hrs, it's 200 coins. If you want to permanently buy a chapter "collect", it's 500 coins. 5000 coins = $4 on the app store 10000 coins = $9 on the app store, etc. Basically, if you want to collect a chapter, with the lowest tier = 5000 coins = 10 chapters = $4 ----> 25 cents per chapter. If you purchase on Tappytoon, I believe it comes out to about 35 cents per chapter If you purchase on Tapas, I heard it's around 30-40 cents per chapter? back to KKP: Now, as each chapter is 25 cents, imagine how that's distributed: 12.5 cents to the publisher, and 5 cents to KKP to host it. For each YM chapter purchased on KKP, which costs a reader 25 cents, DAON Entertainment gets 12.5 cents to split amongst Hayeonnim, Hyeyongnim, and the other staff. Yikes. For a 100 chapter series --> $25 to read it on kakaopage --> $12.5 goes to DAON to distribute to the manhwa team. That's not much per person. If we're lucky to get a physical release, I believe it's about $10 USD for 12 chapters for the YM physicals in KR. For Villains are Destined to Die, or Stepmothers Marchen, who have physical ENG releases, someone told me it's about $15 for 6-8 chapters (needs verification) Back to the webtoons: imagine, 100 people read 100 chapters on aggregate sites instead of one of the official routes: Hayeonnim and Hyeyongnim have already lost $1,250 in royalties/income from the series. from bato alone i see a chapter can have about 55K views. I'm not sure how to translate "views" to "readers", so lets arbitrarily say each chapter is read by 10,000 people internationally who for whatever reason, don't read officially. So 10,000 readers x 100 chapters at 0.12 cents each = loss of $125,000 of income for the manhwa teams for a series with 3 seasons released. Bottom line is, if you can support and want to support, it would be a good idea to. No one's forcing you to, but think of your favorite authors and artists ---!

Hi there! I’m 10000% sure that Jess hate blog is run by Hannah known as jamiebowerserenity on Instagram because it’s appeared when she shut down all her accounts and blogs everywhere. Am I wrong??? What a coincidence!!! 👺

I’ve seen several people speculate that it might be her, but idk. The hate blog started in like fall of last year I think? I don’t recall exactly when all the Hannah stuff went down, but I thought it was after that. And the way the hate blog writes and the way Hannah wrote don’t really align in my opinion. And I feel like Hannah was fond of Jess and always supported every little thing related to Jamie, at least publicly. I don’t think she would devote a whole blog to dunking on Jess and other fans.

That’s just me personally though. I have my own suspicions on who might be behind it for various reasons, but I’m not going to publicize it just in case I’m wrong and slander someone not involved at all. Anyone’s guess is as good as mine though so maybe you’re right. 🤷‍♀️

Hi there, different anon from before, i'm a programmed DID system before you start saying i'm policing survivors. I really can understand the want to belong and feel accepted when you have trauma that is so horrific and feels so isolating. I don't want this to come across as an attack on you or how you cope. I personally wouldn't use the flags, and that's my perogative - and at the end of the day if you or others want to use them, that's your choice too. I really just want to remind you of something, that I think is important.

Pride flags have obviously been used in various communities for a long time (you don't need a history lesson, i get that), and they have good connotations. while i can understand the want to maybe reclaim aspects of your trauma, I really want to speak - if not to the creator of this blog, but the people who might use the flags, and remind them that sharing information about your programming if you are a survivor is inherently dangerous online.

I 100% believe it should be talked about, and there are great online communities that exist for that (though they obviously need to be monitored like any other community, even more so than normal ones in fact). I just want to remind people that telling strangers on the internet who can contact you that you have been through something that makes you inherently vulnerable to outside influence and abuse can be so dangerous, and to please be aware of this if people are going to use the flags.

I also wanted to quickly bring up the idea of programs being something to celebrate. I'm understanding that that is not the point of this - i've read your post, and I understand your POV. I just want to suggest that potentially having a flag of something does create an identity of celebration around it - I know for example that certain programmed alters in my system would take this sort of flag and then use it to reason that their programming is something to be proud of, or not to be changed.

I think there is this blurred separation in the RAMCOA survivor community between celebrating the fact that you have survived and are a survivor - and celebrating the identities that may have emerged from surviving. I know I for one am 10000% proud and vocal about how much my alters have survived - but that does not mean that I am celebrating what they survived and the identity that they had to take on to survive. Creating flags seems like these programs are part of someone's concrete self and identity - and I hope you can see how this could be seen as anti-healing rhetoric and anti-change? In making a program part of an alter's identity, it could make them feel like they can't change, they can't deprogram, they can't move forward.

I completely agree that surviving is something to be proud of. But I am struggling to see where celebrating and broadcasting intimate trauma details (because it is intimate trauma details - knowing which programs someone has survived gives out a lot of information that can easily be used against people) helps survivors - which surely is the whole point.

Again, I want to reiterate that I am not attacking you (the creator), or the people that may have reblogged or identify with this flags. I just really want to, speaking survivor to survivors, reach out and remind everyone to please make sure to critically engage with HC-DID material and resources, and do what's best for you to heal and survive. Don't let your programs paint you in a corner (not pointed at anyone specifically). you're all so much more.

Maybe I'm a little more optimistic (or stupid?) but I feel like Sarah might be building up to a brief separation for Nessian where Cassian has to choose between her and Rhys. There are some theories about her ruling over the Dusk territory and the Valkyries residing there. I feel like living away from Rhys would be good for both of them.

Like I just don't think Sarah hates Nesta while giving her so much and basically any new person who meets her likes her and has nice things to say about her. And Cassian not saying I love you to her, not sticking up for her or at least trying to deescalate the situation is VERY weird. Like she has so many people where the guy is always 100% behind his mate. Dorian and Manon (kind of a weird pairing for me, ngl) are not even together and I'm 100% sure he would stick by her if she decided to go on a random killing spree for sport.

I understand Cassian has known Rhys basically his whole life, but that's your mate, man... wake tf up. I don't need him to pick a fight with every person who sneezes in her direction, but some support in front of everyone would be nice.

Once again I feel like Elain will be the only ACOTAR lady that will get a decent man. Sarah will have to work really hard and retcon absolutely everything we know about Lucien to make him an asshole.

I'm not holding my breath for a Nessian breakup (even if I do think he should go die in a ditch) but I was assuming it would get better/healthier once they were finally together. The HOFAS bonus chapter makes me hopeful or hopeless depending on how optimistic I'm feeling that day.

I fully agree with you in the sense that I cannot interpret that BC another way. Narratively speaking, why SJM would double down on Nesta's conflict with the IC other than as set up for something like her leaving, forcing Cassian to choose, etc? It's such an insane decision to have the first glimpse of mated Nessian in three years be... that, only for it to be meaningless in the end. But all that hinges on the assumption that SJM is a logical writer who remembers to tie up loose ends and doesn't retcon stuff willy nilly -- and that's where all my pessimism lies... in her writing tendencies. I think it's telling that when Bryce goes to return the Mask, Cassian is there and all seems fine, which makes me think it's just going to get brushed under the rug. It could go either way!

I think SJM has a love-hate relationship with Nesta -- she thought Nesta deserved whatever the fuck ACOSF was but you are right she loves her now that she's been "redeemed." Loves her enough to let her keep her powers/control of the Trove, give her Gwydion, give her the star connection with Bryce and make her the focus of the crossover. It's even more telling to me how many fans try to downplay all of that too. Wanting other characters to have the Trove/Gwydion, claiming the crossover was meaningless or that Azriel was more important than her - all desperate efforts to gaslight themselves into believing Nesta's story is over. Ultimately, those theories wouldn't exist if those fans didn't believe all the things Nesta has are important.

At this point I just want to know what the next book is because that's going to determine whether or not I should give up on Nesta ever getting a happy ending. Nessian is 10000% endgame, I know that, I just want to believe in it is all.

Travis gives huge yes men vibes particularly when it comes to her career and music choices, probably because he doesn’t think he’s qualified to give her critical feedback or whatever and wants to be as supportive as possible, same way she’s not gonna tell him how to play football better lol, but I think if he genuinely disagreed on smth in their relationship he would tell her where as Joe might be quiet and grow resentful

that’s kinda what I think - I think Joe gave way more feedback on the art (which wasn’t really needed because she has other people who could comment on that) but ignored real shit. (Also I sorta believe DeuxMoi saying he was apparently super scathing of her short film Oscar plan because I can… see him being like that if he wasn’t living up her ass by then, since it was yk an objectively silly idea). But I don’t think Joe would have complained about behaviors/shit that annoyed him (and we all have shit that annoys us in our partners) hence the quiet resentment. Whereas Travis would be like “yay baby let’s go get that Oscar, you’re so good at this stuff!” but would 10000% say something about behaviors that he will eventually find annoying or shit he hasn’t appreciated thus far. Short answer: All Of Them.

Obviously Pitch and Jack would be into it. For different reasons, but that hardly matters.

Seifer would either secretly like it or very loudly like it depending on the day and what point he's trying to make. Squall is, in the general sense, up for anything.

Goku would be all about it. Sanzo would tolerate it, all the while pretending he doesn't care.

Suzaku would be 10000% invested in all of the emotional moments. Lelouch would hate watch it because it's branding and a massive corporation, but then end up invested, too.

Peter and Wade are into damn near everything, and there's no reason Barbie would be excluded.

Frank likes soft things. He's never tried to hide it. He'll die defending every little girl's right to be whatever she wants to be. Stephen would be less dramatic about it, but he enjoys a good story.

Steve is the most supportive, best babysitter ever and would watch it in solidarity. He wouldn't be afraid to say he liked it, either. Eddie might wait for it to come out on VHS (Haha, the 80's version of wait for cable) but he's not the kinda person to shy away from liking whatever he likes.

Kylo would pretend he hated it but only because he has to pretend to hate everything or his emo score goes down. Hux wouldn't know about it until someone played it when he was in the room, and he'd try to ignore it, but get invested, and then have to pretend he doesn't care because if he cares someone can use it against him.

Zagreus would be excited to see it. Thanatos would wonder if Zag really wants to use the two hours he has for him to watch a movie, but okay, they can watch a movie. Than would be open to it, whatever.

...Kamui and Fuuma would just be happy to have a date night. They might even be more excited to see Barbie, since it's unlikely to have anything in it that might be a Problem for either of them.

Merlin would be thrilled, Arthur would pretend he wasn't. Kentarou would be thrilled, Takeshi would pretend he wasn't. Gideon would be game, Harrow would pretend she wasn't. etc etc etc

oh, Errant Kingdom is a... visual novel? Choose your own adventure? It's a game I kickstarted way back in the Before Times, created by Lunaris Games. They also made When the Night Comes, which I enjoyed. We were promised multiple story routes, good queer romances, minigames, and more. Well, the devs got tired of working on it and presented a "finished" game back in the summer of 2023. I played it and got so mad I determined that I was going to take their barebones story outline and characters and make something more robust. I, of course, didn't finish it. But I did create a pretty good outline of what story beats I would change lol.

Here's a snippet of my Ambassador OC, Nora, with Erik Nystrom, the exiled but extremely loyal knight. She is currently playing detective, trying to figure out what actually happened that got him exiled, but is 10000% crushing very hard:

He waited for her to finish her next note, or maybe he waited to compose himself again. He looked at his tankard, considering whether he should take another sip of his beer.  Then Nora did something that surprised even herself: she reached for him. She gently coaxed her hand between his and the stein, urging him to let go of it. She half expected him to recoil at her touch, or gruffly push her away to drown his sorrows some more, but he didn’t. Instead, he laid his hand flat on the table, palm up, and intertwined his fingers with hers. When she looked up to his face, his amber eyes shimmered and looked right at her.  “Take your time,” she soothed, putting down the pen and bringing her other hand to his, enveloping his large, calloused hand in both of hers. Her heart beat so loud she was sure he could hear it, too. If he did, he made no indication of it. He let out a shaky breath and brought his other hand to hers, vaguely pushing the stein out of the way as he did so. He rubbed his thumbs over hers and slowly lowered his head to press it to hers. “Thank you,” he whispered. “Of course,” she replied, squeezing his hands in hers.

And Aoife! Aoife is my extremely good paragon Shepard who's always just one wrong word away from a panic attack. She's a Sentinel in game, but I headcanon her as a field medic turned medical doctor. She's a plant nerd, smuggles greenery into the Normandy any chance she gets, and is studying for her doctoral exams in ME2.

And she romances Thane because I said so.

I love her so much you get a SECOND snippet, but this time from my Mass Effect file:

If he’d thought about it, Thane probably could have sent Aoife a message instead of visiting her quarters in the loft. But he’d been curious to see her space, and hoped that he might be able to see her more relaxed there than in life support. He was honored that she trusted him to see the scared and anxious parts of her, but he wanted to see her relaxed and comfortable, too.  He knocked on the door. “It’s open,” Aoife called from the other side, sounding distracted, but calm. It opened and he stepped inside, hands clasped comfortably behind his back. And what he saw took him aback: dozens of plants adorned every available space. Many of them flowered - vibrant pinks, purples, reds, and yellows showered the room in color. But most of all, the room was green. Green and full of life. And humid. He coughed uncomfortably, “Hello, Aoife.” “Thane!” she replied, voice bright. She popped up from the lower level among a collection of books and datapads scattered on the floor. A pencil rested in her ear, and her hair hung in a loose, messy bun. She walked over to him in her bare feet, and took the three stairs to where he stood, “What brings you here? Is everything alright?”

Amen to everything you said, and I’ll go a step further and say I fully support Pedro skipping Cannes. I knew when this project was announced that the media and fandom would make it a shitshow, and they’re delivering. Man gets to act an interesting role for his favorite director and people are focused on his bare butt and asking him how he approached the sexual chemistry (wow, so subtle). I hope he’s living his best life with his friends and getting a damn break from being stalked day and night by the paps.

oh absolutely, 10000% agree. is it sad? for sure. but it was his decision in the end and supporting him is all we can really do.

and to be fully clear, i'm not suggesting that he skipped strictly due to fan behavior/too much attention/shitty paparazzi/bad journalism. that's just entirely speculation, which is irresponsible and unfair on my part. i didn't mean to stir the pot and that's my bad.

truth of the matter is there are dozens of potential reasons why he didn't go - gladiator training/rehearsals, lux might be graduating this weekend, he just wanted some rest, whatever. we may never know. and that's fine. we don't need to. we're not owed that. he doesn't have to explain himself to anyone, least of all a bunch of random people on the internet.

Aphid Daemon based on vibes if you wanna? No pressure tho!

Hiiiiiii, thank you sm for letting me do this for your lad! I'm leaning towards either a Snake, Crow or Deer for him after getting a sense of his vibes and I'll give my reasoning for all three!

Snake

Specifically maybe a Corn Snake or Ball Python. Snakes are little solitary danger noodles who come across as very frightening, but a lot of them can be very docile and just wanna chill. Aphid gives me the vibe of someone easily spooked and put on guard and like snakes he can put on a good bluff of appearing tougher than he is to protect himself.

I think a snake Daemon would work well for him, not only as a sort of portable emotional support Daemon (living weighted blanket that gives kisses hello....) but also adds to whatever front he's trying to put on in front of others. And it would improve cuddle time with trusted loved ones by 10000....

Crow

Crows can be easily spooked and can appear intimidating to some people, I think they'd fit pretty well. They're passive observers in most cases much like Ahpid and they're pretty solitary but once in a family unit are fiercely protective. Similar to the snake I think a crow Daemon would work well to give Aphid his air of intimidation and also might have some symbolism for his wish to be able to get out of situations/places easily. His Daemon can simply fly away (to a certain degree) and be out of danger and/or away from overwhelming interactions/incidents.

Deer

From looking through his tag this one kinda screamed at me too, Deer are skittish and distrusting and if it's a Male Deer their horns can be used as a good defense and intimidation tactic. I can see a Deer Daemon lending to Aphids stubborn nature, his wanting to deal with his problems all on his own and crumbling under the pressure.

Deer's are sturdy and resilient but they'd need help if they got trapped or stuck due to their horns but most struggle in attempts to help themself and inadvertently get themselves more stuck or bogged down, sound like someone..... Also soft fur good for petting if Ahpid is stressed!!

i really didn't know what it'd be like writing on tumblr as i was so used to wattpad for so long, and didn't even know if anyone would read my stories and LIKE them at the same time. it's so insane to me!! i did not expect this account to grow the way it did, but holy shit i have like three fics with over 1000 notes, i have so many followers and so many people who support my work!! it means so much to me.

i'm so glad everyone welcomed me with open arms given i am new and still fairly new to writing for eddie or anyone else i write for 🖤❤️ ESPECIALLY since my work is solely for WOC and plus sized women/fem presenting people! i didn't think people would be so open to reading stories dedicated to fat women, and for fat women, and i didn't think so many people would resonate with my work! i started off wanting to write things that i wanted to read and never saw, so i started! and apparently so many people love it, and love the fact that i write for only the plus sized community. thank u so much for the support and i hope my work is everything anyone could've hoped to read LOL i do plan on coming out with more!!
