Jack is around? Pitch will forget any shenanigans going on at this exact moment and just focus on Jack.

Jdfkhgkjfhg Okay no I LOVE that! 🤣 Pitch is the cat and Jack is the laser pointer. Jack can instantly steal Pitch’s attention no matter the circumstances. How is Pitch supposed to concentrate with such beauty and grace and mischief wants to spend time with him? Cold and dark, fear and fun! That is his other half, and he is smitten. Nevermind that one scene in the movie (the ‘I’m gonna ignore you’) because from that point on, Pitch is all about what Jack is up to, we all saw it. ;) 

And Jack knows how much of a distraction he is. He loves it. He loves being the center of Pitch’s focus. Pitch is supposed to be the dark, mysterious, and terrifying master of fear, and yet Jack can flash a smile, then suddenly he has a second shadow. Pitch is never too busy for Jack, something none of the other Guardians can promise him, and Pitch never holds him back from being as chaotic as he pleases. So Jack steals and soaks up as much of that attention as he can~ <3

For your Blackice headcanons: When one of them suddenly starts feeling overwhelmed, what does the other do to help them relax? 🖤❄

Oh man. For both of them, touch is a huge comfort. Pitch’s go-to response to a sudden distress would be to lash out and push everything away but a cool touch from Jack can snap him out of it. Jack’s doesn’t even need to be particularly persistent to get Pitch’s focus on him. Hugging, petting his hair, linking their fingers together, anything to remind Pitch that they’re together can calm him down. Of course, Jack could always hit him with a snowball too, and will as a last resort, but he much prefers the genuine way Pitch’s eyes will go soft when he registers he isn’t alone.

For Jack, he’s so used to dealing with his own emotions, he’ll try to retreat somewhere until he can get himself together and be the fun-loving spirit he usually is. But Pitch can read fear and knows just where to find him. He’ll wrap Jack in his arms and be that place for Jack to hide. Pitch will swear he’d go to the ends of the Earth and bring down the moon if it would make Jack smile again. Jack knows Pitch would do it too, and the idea of someone willing to do something for his sake is almost as healing as the arms that won’t let him go. <3

Blackice Headcanons~ ❄️🖤

Yes it has been 87 years

After so many years taking on a life of villainy, Pitch isn’t immune to a good monologue. The man loves to talk and when he does, he can get passionate about it. It’s absolutely endearing to Jack. He doesn’t need to know exactly what Pitch is going on about to enjoy his excited energy or listen to his voice. Jack knows first hand how much it means to just have someone listen. If the subject gets too dark or revenge-heavy, he has no problem responding with something so utterly ridiculous, Pitch has to stop and laugh. 

Pitch always looks at him in awe when it happens, and it makes Jack determined to get him to do it more often. <3
