"I thought I always was," The princess teased him with a lazy chuckle, turning her body to face Joseph. "You were wonderful, again," It had become quite a habit to spend the night together secretly. Her being with Joseph was a scandal in itself, let alone the fact that she was betrothed to someone else, a prince whose alliance was important to the kingdom. With the morning light shining through the curtains, she knew he would have to leave soon. "Wouldn't it be perfect if we could just stay in bed together for the rest of the day?"
