# Dcu x Dp 142
In the center of Gotham there stood two unique and strange statues.
One of the statues was of a humanoid man that stood up straight at 5 feet 8 inches both of his hands resting on the top of a sword that was in front of him. He wears a cape that was sculpted to look like there is fur on the edges a chain holds the cape in place, where the chain meets the cape there is a human-looking skull on both sides. His head is slightly tilted down so if you stood a couple of feet away he would be looking at you, he has a soft open smile on his face if you look closely enough you can see he has fangs. His hair looked as though it was floating, on top of his head sat a crown, he had pointy ears the hands that rested on top of the sword had nails that looked like claws. He wears a bodysuit baggy pants and what looks like combat boots, on the center of his bodysuit there is a D with a P inside symbol.
At his feet lays the other statue, a big Rottweiler. The dog came up to his hip while lying down and was at least 7 feet long, his head was by the man's hip and his body was curled behind the man's legs. The dog had his mouth open partially with his tongue hanging out you could see his teeth when looking at him the dog's head was looking at the same spot that the man's head was looking at. The dog wore a collar with spikes at the front there was a tag that had the name Cujo and on the back of the tag the same symbol that was on the man's bodysuit. One of the dog's paws was resting on top of an actual dog toy made of rubber.
They both are on a stone pedestal that is about 3 feet tall and 6 feet wide the pedestal is decorated with symbols of death and protection. You can find other humanoids sculpted into the pedestal and over time people have noticed that you can also find the Bats and Birds symbols on the front of the pedestal and in the corners you can find symbols that represent the rogues.
The statue had both precious gemstones and metals decorating it. The statue of the dog had the least, the dog's eyes are made of rubies the claws are made of obsidian. The spikes on the collar seemed to be an actual metal, in between each spike a star sapphire sits. Under each spike, a small chain is attached and connects to the next spike.
The man had much more, his eyes were made of Alexandrite stones but changed from Emerald to Sapphire and they changed at random. His freckles are a combination of Opal stone and Moonstone that are spread across his cheeks and nose, and his claws and sword are made of obsidian. The cape outside of the cape has small silver spots, and on the inside, there are many different gemstones that are decorated to look like stars in the sky. Crown is made of a combination of Amazonite and Malachite and is decorated with Ammolite, papagoite, shattuckite, and star sapphire. Bracelets are made of Azurite with grandidierite, he has Paraiba tourmaline earrings with one star sapphire earrings hanging from his right ear. He has three rings one made of Garnet, the second one is made of Grandidierite, and the last one is made of Jeremejevite. On his left hand, there are some cracks that disappear underneath the sleeves of his bodysuit and appear again on his left cheek the cracks seem to be filled with emerald ( the bats know it's not emerald it's crystallized LaArus water ) it is like a kintsugi.
Several things make these two statues very unique
1. No known history there is nothing about who made the status or why they were placed there
2. Destroy or steal no matter how many times people try to blow up the statues or smash them no damage can be done, and no one can remove any of the gemstones that are on them. The person would also become sick or be injured after trying
3. Can't be Recorded or take pictures it's difficult to get clear pictures and videos unless they're from an older model
4. No one can buy or take them many wealthy people have tried to buy the statues and take them but every time that's happened the machines and cars that were there to move them were shut down and the person who tried to buy them would get extremely sick and be haunted by nightmares, night terrors and paralysis.
5. Crused and blessed as mentioned before people would get sick be injured get nightmares, night terrors, and/or paralysis. People that stand in a 15 feet radius of the status can't get infected by any of the gass that are release and people that are already infected by them are inside the radius will get cured, and has also protected people from getting attacked inside the circle .

And here's the consolidated list (mostly?) All from Diamond in the Rough, character notes below cut (not in same order as pics)
Considered a few different systems for assigning gems (gemstone family, value, etc.) but ultimately just went with color/relative familiarity of gem. There’s so many cool gems out there~ (I was trying to not be too repetitive with types/use more common ones though Quartz has a million interesting varieties!)
Mega Man, Blue Sapphire Sphere I wavered a lot on his ‘trinket’, Sapphire seemed obvious (especially with Proto being a ruby, both are corundum gemstones) but also considered blue diamond, alexandrite (blue/purple color shift), and aquamarine. For the jewelry, was also considering an atomic model (for chemistry?), a screwdriver, and slightly regretting not considering circlet
Roll, Amethyst Earring: primarily always wanted amethyst, but also considered heliodor, padparadscha sapphire (but it wasn’t quite the right color? and perhaps too obscure), tanzanite, morganite, zoisite, kunsite, iolite, (purple gems etc.) For shape, was considering spikes/fangs though that’s also Treble and Punk’s lol
Bass, Emerald Snake Arm Cuff: loosely based on a real arm cuff I saw in a book. Also considered black diamond, green diamond (he’s the titular ‘diamond in the rough’), and black opal
Proto Man, Ruby Aviator Badge: I went with ruby in the end, which seemed most obvious choice, but also considered red diamond and bixbite (red beryl)
Elec Man, Black Opal Ring: Also considered chatoyant Sapphire, Alexandrite (??? color shift?), chrysoberyl, angelite/anhydrite, and even hawkeye quartz (loosely inspired by a real hawkeye ‘lightning’ ring, before that I was thinking cufflinks, but seemed weird for him to become either a pair of gems, or even a single cufflink lol)
Jewel Man, Colorless Beryl (Goshenite) Monocle - also considered rock crystal, diamond, and Padparadscha sapphire. Apparently both beryl and rock crystal were historically used for eyeglasses. Monocle is a reference to gentleman thief archtypes, also they are just fancy. (Also I realized while drawing this that having a plique a jour monocle chain is probably super impractical, oh well lol)
Top Man, Imperial Topaz  Pendant in a Jeweled Egg - also considered alexandrite and spinel (for the pun, heh) and spessertite
Kalinka/Mega Girl, Rose Quartz Blossom Barrette: Pink :) though I considered other lesser known (but more valuable) pink gems
Quint, Alexandrite Wristwatch: Quint is a time traveler (of sorts), also considered model armillary sphere/astrolabe, a screwdriver, and jade or malachite or nanocrystal
Wily, Agate Cameo Belt Buckle: Loosely inspired by his skull belt in some of his game art, also considered amythist
Dr. Light, Alabaster bead on a bookmark tassel:  Dr. Light likes books! Was also considering rock crystal and goshenite
Ring Man, Zircon Hoop Bracelet: Reference to both his namesake and his carney background. Was also considering class ring (before assigning the ring to Elec Man) and a circlet. ‘Zircon’ just sounds circusy, must be the Z
Magnet Man, Garnet Horseshoe Amulet: garnets are apparently magnetic, also considered fridge magnet
Cut Man, Citrine Paperknife: for obvious reasons. I also considered topaz for the gem
Guts Man, Tourmaline Paperweight: funny/fitting pairing with the paper knife, the shape is in reference to the boulder he holds in game art (for a brief week, was a rock crystal until I realized those are clear lol smokey quartz would have made more sense)
Punk, Spinel Motorcycle Chain: ‘Spinel’ may be a derivative from Latin ’spina’ which means thorn
Rush, Labradorite Bone Collar Tag: Went for the pun!
Treble, Howlite Fang: and ditto for Treble
Others that weren’t in chapter (this list has no significance what-so-ever, I brainstormed a list of gems but also ‘trinkets’ and my brain just started associating lol)
Beat, Aquamarine Aigrette: Beat actually avoided transformation, but that’s what he would have been
Gyro Man: Mood Ring
Dr. Cossack: Selenite something or other
Dark Man: D20
Time Man: a pocket watch
Enker: Chess piece
Metal Man: A knife
Shadow Man: Also a knife, maybe jade
Yamato Man: Natsuke
Burner Man: Match Box
Fake Man: phenakite, derived from greek word for deceiver
Magic Man: Card Case
Needle Man: Rutilated quartz (it has needle-like inclusions)
Pharaoh Man: Scarab collar pin/cloak clasp
Star Man: Star Saphire?
And that's it from the notes, haha.

Hey, hope you're doing well. I'm looking for devotional jewelry for Loki, and I know the main thing associated with him is snakes, but my family knows I'm not very fond of snakes so they would know something was up if I started wearing snake jewelry. What are some other associations you would suggest?
Thanks!
Hey, friend, I apologize for getting to this so late! I was never given a notification for this ask. 💀
I think some other great associations of his are ravens, wolves, horses, flies, dragons (as Jormundgandr is considered a dragon by some scholars), skulls, mistletoe, and fire! These are all things he is pretty heavily associated with. especially these days. Common SPGs (not historically proven but shared between many modern worshippers) that I also see are spiders and foxes. Some UPGs of mine are butterflies (to represent his mastery over change and transformation) and aspen trees (I actually don't have an explanation for this one; I just think they're cool XD).
As for associated crystals (and this is SPG; I don't know if Vikings used crystals, really; that is a good question for @broomsick !), I have seen the SPG of volcanic/sulfurous stones (obsidian, hematite, fire agate, onyx, etc.), serpentine, fire quartz, smoky quartz, pyrite, multi-colored/color-changing stones (labradorite, fluorite, alexandrite, bismuth, etc.), carnelian, and tiger's eye. I have a UPG of kambaba jasper, prehnite, garnet, green aventurine, malachite, and petrified wood.
I hope this helps you figure things out! You can always get jewelry that is crystal beads, such as an obsidian beaded bracelet. Such jewelry tends to both be really discreet and pretty! Have a wonderful day/night. 💚🖤

It’s no big secret that I love pretty rocks. I have a whole tag for it (#tom is a bit of a rock hound). I collect them when I can. I display them with great joy. I like to admire them, hold them up to the light, feel their warmth or chill and their textures.
And you know what. I really fuckin’ miss wearing them, too.
The sorry state of men’s fashion is that the only Pretty Rocks I get to wear are opaque bead bracelets. Don’t get me wrong, I do love my lava rock & tiger’s eye bead bracelet.
But I miss wearing amethyst and amber and aquamarine. I miss wearing chunks of onyx and alexandrite. I want to wear tanzanite and emerald and iolite and peridot. I want to wear big shards of bright, clear gems that catch the light. I want to hear cut crystals clinking when I shake my head.
But the only options for those are women’s jewelry and fucking cufflinks, and I’d rather go barefoot on hot asphalt than wear a goddamn suit.
And it’s a bad fucking gender feel knowing that the only options for these Pretty Rocks are the ones that make everyone who sees them think “woman.”
And I live in a place where a man wearing accessories that make people think “woman” will get him jumped, and not in the fun way.
So they stay on my shelves and on my wall, and I look at them, and admire them, and that’s all that I can do.
IDK man. I just think men’s fashion needs to get with the fucking gemstones. Let me wear my damn Pretty Rocks in a masculine way.

What's her casual style like?
OOOH so Mina's style is split by during the season and off it.
During the season she lives in athletic flare joggers and baby tees (all made by her out of shirts she stolen from everyone, or shirts she's bought and painted on. The best way to describe her is Bratz.
At home during the off-season she is nearly always in a plain white or dark green shalwar kameez, the duputta heavily embroidered.
Her year-round jewelry staples include a pearl and green aventurine bracelet, gold baby jhumke, an alexandrite ring and pendant necklace and four gold bracelets split on her arms.

I decided to put all of Geode’s gems in one picture. So here we have:
Sapphire wearing a transgender dress, an asexual bracelet, and a aromantic bracelet;
Ruby wearing an outfit that adds up to the aro-ace flag (plus red boots);
Iolite wearing asexual pants, an agender shirt, a trans bracelet, and an aro-ace bracelet;
And Alexandrite wearing an aromantic shirt, asexual shoes, and pants that have white, grey, and black (colors that go in both of those flags).
Each of them have at least one thing of clothing of ‘their’ color plus a Four Sword necklace of ‘their’ color.

What Aventurine's page would be in Story of Seasons (Rune Factory 5 pending):
Tumblr media
A business man from lands far away he settled into a new town, far from the hustle and bustle he was accustomed to. The little town had it's appeal he supposed but his gambling, thrill seeks heart couldn't just settle into peaceful life indefinitely.
He takes frequent trips to the city before returning with enough money to live comfortably.
What he did on his days away no one knew and he liked it that way. He had what he needed and had a calm city of hard working people where everyone was friendly enough for his liking. People didn't question him much and those that did were easy enough to weasel his way out of having to answer.
Bonus LP: None
Rival: None
Schedule: Aventurine's schedule is the same Monday through Friday. He lives at the Inn and will be there until 9:00 am when he goes down to Rose Plaza. He will stay at Rose Plaza until 3:00 pm. He then goes to the Beach from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm before returning to the Inn.
On Saturday and Sunday he will be out of town the entire day.
If he is married he starts his day in his spouses home before repeating the same schedule. He will leave before the player character wakes up every Saturday and Sunday unless it falls on a holiday or anniversary.

How to Choose Jewelry Based on Your Birthstone
Birthstones have been treasured for centuries, believed to hold unique energies and bring good luck to those who wear them. Choosing jewelry based on your birthstone adds a layer of personal significance, and it’s a fantastic way to find pieces that feel uniquely "you." At Rare Sparkle, our online jewelry store in the USA, we offer a range of birthstone jewelry that celebrates individuality. Here’s a guide to choosing jewelry based on your birthstone, so you can find pieces that reflect your personality, style, and values.
Tumblr media
January – Garnet
Garnet, known for its rich red color, symbolizes protection, passion, and strength. As a durable stone, it’s perfect for rings, necklaces, or bracelets. January-born individuals can embrace garnet jewelry to add a pop of color and symbolize personal power.
February – Amethyst
Amethyst, a beautiful purple gemstone, is associated with calmness, clarity, and balance. Known for its calming properties, amethyst is ideal for those seeking tranquility. It shines in statement rings, earrings, or pendants, offering an elegant, regal look.
March – Aquamarine
Aquamarine’s tranquil blue shade reflects the serenity of the ocean, symbolizing clarity and courage. It’s a popular choice for earrings and pendants, as its soft color pairs beautifully with both gold and silver. Wearing aquamarine can inspire confidence and inner peace.
April – Diamond
Diamonds represent purity, love, and strength, making them a timeless choice for April-born individuals. While classic diamond rings are highly popular, they’re also perfect for earrings, bracelets, and pendants. Our online jewelry store USA offers a wide range of diamond styles for all preferences and occasions.
May – Emerald
The deep green of emerald symbolizes renewal, growth, and vitality, making it a perfect choice for those born in spring. Emerald jewelry, whether in rings or earrings, adds a luxurious, vibrant touch to any outfit. Known as the stone of prosperity, emeralds are perfect for special occasions or daily wear.
June – Pearl or Alexandrite
June-born individuals have two beautiful birthstones to choose from. Pearls symbolize purity and elegance, while alexandrite represents creativity and transformation with its unique color-shifting quality. Both stones are perfect for necklaces, earrings, or bracelets, offering either a classic or unique look.
July – Ruby
Ruby’s rich red hue is associated with passion, love, and protection. As one of the most durable gemstones, ruby is ideal for rings and bracelets that can be worn daily. Wearing ruby can inspire confidence and strength, adding a bold statement to any jewelry collection.
August – Peridot
Peridot’s fresh green shade represents healing, positivity, and abundance. Known as the “gem of the sun,” peridot jewelry brings brightness and joy, making it a fantastic choice for earrings and pendants. Its vibrant color complements both casual and formal wear.

October – Opal or Tourmaline
October’s birthstones are both colorful and captivating. Opals have a beautiful play of color that represents hope and creativity, while tourmaline comes in a range of hues, symbolizing healing and balance. Both stones make for striking statement rings, necklaces, or earrings.
November – Topaz or Citrine
