HE'S FINALLY HERE!! After putting this off for like a month i finished up Donovan's character page, which is kinda ironic consdiering he's the reason the au got it's name. To put it simply, this spawned from me asking myself the question I'm certain most furnace fans have at some point: What if Donovan survived? Then I asked myself how that would work, and one obvious solution came to mind: What if he was immune to the nectar? if he never went through a blacksuit transformation, what was stopping the others from yoinking him out of the infirmary while the wheezers weren't looking? Then I started messing with the nectar & fleshing out how the furnace organization/prison works and it got out of hand (I'll get to that at some point in the next 50 years) but yeah!

Tldr: Its a Donovan lives AU!! (and also a whole bunch of other stuff but shhh we dont need to talk about that yet)

hi. i've followed you for like three years atp and never interacted w you but i need to tell someone who understands bc im still not over it

i used to be obsessed with house of anubis as it was airing on nickelodeon. like. obsessed. hyperfixated obsessed. and. okay. i used to be obsessed with the musical hamilton. like. in 2017. fast forward years. i'm married. as a gift, my husbands parents got us hamilton tickets. it was so silly and it was a day in london so yay!!

we go. we're watching it. and from the beginning i'm like huh. hamilton looks. familiar. by the third song it clicks. but no. i must be insane. i'm just hoping bc i know like 2 black british actors total. no way. and i'm in a theatre during a performance i can't whip out my phone to google.

I think what makes Alice Panettierre so sickening to me is that I can similarities between us. Not the gross, "I want my own army and I'll torment children to get it" but the live for science. I find people so fascinating and wonderful, but I want my science to be done for the betterment of people, not for power. That's one of the reasons I hate her so much, she's so selfish in her actions, so cruel despite the people suffering around her. The worst part is she does it under the disguise of kindness at first. Or an attempt at it at least. She tries to "sooth" Alex, tell him his suffering is worth it in the end. But it wasn't, she only made things worse for her selfish gain. Hell, Cross, a Nazi Fuck who's guts were gladly torn from him was at least honest to the inmates about his intentions. For the most part, he never hid the Hell he intended. Jesus, I forgot how was these books make me, and how much hope the ending gives as well.
