Il grande finale di questo ciclo sarà, quindi, intitolato "I conti con la realtà", un titolo che ai pkers dovrebbe far risuonare qualche campanello.

"Paperink e i conti con le realtà" è stata una storia pubblicata su Paperinik Appgrade che fungeva da raccordo fra Universo Pk e La macchina del Fangus. Se UPK era stata ambientata da Faraci in un universo alternativo in cui Paperinik non ha mai incontrato Uno, con questa storia quel Paperinik si trovava ad avere a che fare con universi alternativi, fra cui il nostro, quello in cui Pkna è accaduta. Sisti, che aveva ereditato il timone delle inedite del mensile del papero mascherato, fa collassare tutti gli universi in uno, facendo convivere il Paperinik di UPK quello tradizionale, per poi riutilizzare elementi pikappici (Angus Fangus) in storie future. Prima di Potere e Potenza, quindi, Sisti pensava di poter far rivivere la lore pikappika nel Paperinik del mensile, probabilmente senza considerare che il rilancio vero (e duraturo, sono passati 9 anni) sarebbe avvenuto il mese dopo e lui sarebbe stato coinvolto nel progetto (con una coordinazione poco efficace, purtroppo, come il prologo al Raggio Nero ci ha mostrato).

Il destino di questa storia è stato particolare. Nelle successive edizioni in volume Universo Pk è stato debitamente presentato come una realtà parallela a Pk, mentre nel volume sulla Macchina del Fangus Sisti, in ragione del suo sincretismo, ha oensato di retconnare le vicende ed eliminare nei redazionali ogni riferimento al fatto che l'ambientazione fosse la fusione degli universi di Universo Pk e di Pkna, presentandola con una storia mai narrata posta nel lungo iato del Pk tradizionale.

Questo ha messo "I conti con le realtà" in una situazione scomoda, essendo ora l'unico tassello in grado di smontare la retcon. Il riferimento dell'ultima storia del fuoriserie sarà solo un divertissement nel titolo o ci saranno riferimenti più concreti che tenteranno di cucire lo strappo?

Sanremo 2025 - the post!

Hello everyone!

Here you’ll find this year’s Sanremo’s stuff and news (I’ll be updating this post through all the week). The Festival will start on Tuesday February 11th at 8:30 pm, and end on Saturday February 15th, when the final will be broadcasted.

Each night from February 11th to February 15th, before the start of Sanremo at around 8:25 PM (GMT+1), will be broadcasted the usual PrimaFestival. The hosts are: Bianca Guaccero, Gabriele Corsi e Mariasole Pollio (tv hosts, actors/actresses -Gabriele is the Eurovision's host as well iykyk)

There’s gonna be the usual Dopofestival, with Alessandro Cattelan (tv host, veejay) starting right after the end of each Sanremo’s night (11th-15th Feb.) on Raiuno.

CasaSanremo- A website about Sanremo and all the artists who will take part, with more infos and interviews (also Italian places and food specialties will be shown). Follow them also on their Social Media Channels, usually they make live video/interviews/shows on FB for example.

On Sorrisi&Canzoni you will find also other infos about Sanremo and every lyrics’s explanation (ofc ask me if you need a translation)

"Il Podcast di Sorrisi a Sanremo" - the famous media outlet will host daily starting at 7 PM (GMT+1) from February 11th to February 15th on RealTime TV a podcast about Sanremo with Rettore, Coma_cose, Francesca Michielin and Alessandro Amoroso as guests, sharing infos and special bts of the competition. The hosts are Lodovica Comello (radio/tv host, singer, actress...), Tommaso Cassissa (actor, youtuber...) and the director of Sorrisi Aldo Vitali.

The # on this blog is #sanremo 2025, #sanremo, #sanremo2025 you can black any of these (the first one in particular) if you want.

Raiuno -> just click on the first video on the left, or here, to open the Raiuno streaming immediately (I added the whole Rai channels things in case you had troubles connecting directly and wanted to try from there). The RAI’s geoblock is usually removed for Sanremo’s week, no need to create accounts or whatsoever to enjoy Sanremo online!! Remember you can rewatch the whole event and each performance on Raiplay few minutes after it has happened and for the whole week too (after the end of Sanremo, there will be only 1mins vids of each performance avaiable).

FANTASANREMO - this year as well you can play while enjoying your Sanremo! How does it work? Every person “buys” 5 artisti and marks one of them as a captain. As in the last years, artists will have to do or say something while on stage to help you gain points (and also classification will have a say). Subscriptions open on December 27th 2024. It seems there are some new features in the game too.

HOST & GUESTS & Other stuff

This years’ host will still be Carlo Conti (who choose the songs taking part into this Sanremo), a TV and radio host/deejay. He already hosted for 3 years (2015-2017). He will be accompanied by a different co-host each night (check the schedule below). Together with them, as usual, during each night there will be different guests. Some will be announced only right before the start of the evening so keep an eye on the schedule.

There won't just be the competition inside the Ariston: the Suzuki Stage will be held in Sanremo's piazza Colombo and every night there will be live performances (they may show something during Sanremo as well). Mattia Stanga and Jody Cecchetto (tv/radio hosts) will be the hosts, while the performers will be: Raf (Feb.11th), BigMama (Feb.12th), Ermal Meta (Feb.13th), Benji & Fede (Feb.14th), Tedua (Feb.15th).

How it works:

There will be 29* singers in the ARTISTI (artists) section. There will be again 2 sections: BIG/CAMPIONI (already known artists) and NUOVE PROPOSTE (youngs). 29 artists of the BIG section were chosen by Carlo Conti, while the 4 of the NUOVE PROPOSTE are the finalists of Sanremo Giovani (held in December 2024). The winner of the BIGs competition will represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest (May 13-17th 2025, in Switzerland): if he/she/they won’t accept, the choice will be another artist, usually the 2nd classified or the next (the first one accepting).

This year we’re gonna listen to the 29 BIGs' songs on the first night and get a top 5 rank at the end. On the 2nd and 3rd night, we’ll get to listen to 2 of the NUOVE PROPOSTE's songs at the beginning of each night. The one with the most votes (each night) will perform in the final on day 4. On day 2 and 3, we'll also listen again to 15 BIGs' songs and get another top 5 rank. People at home can vote for both sections. On the 4th night, we'll get the winner of the NUOVE PROPOSTE between the 2 finalists. Then, there will be the usual “covers” night: the BIGs can choose any song published until December 2024, national or international, and will be accompanied by another artist. From this year, artists can also decide if to duet with another Sanremo's contestant. We'll get the winner of the covers' night but the rank will be a separate rank from the one of the real competition. People at home can vote for both sections again. On day 5, all the BIGs will perform again. At the beginning of the night we'll get the general top 5 rank of the past days, and at the end of the night we'll get the final standing and winner.

il sogno di tutti i kompagni reazionari: l’ex eurodeputato britannico che si è visto bloccare i suoi conti corrente per “ragioni etiche”.

Un soggetto economico come una banca, che in linea di massima si pensa sia orientato a servire tutti (al di là delle fedi religiose, delle idee politiche, delle preferenze sessuali e via dicendo), ha dichiarato di non voler avere nulla a che fare con Farage non a seguito di comportamenti economici scorretti (come può avvenire quando qualcuno viola impegni assunti), ma per ragioni ideologiche: le idee pubblicamente rese note dal politico inglese sarebbero in contrasto con le posizioni dell’impresa, intesa come realtà “inclusiva”.

Tutto questo deve spaventarci, senza dubbio, perché il nuovo potere del nostro tempo muove dall’assolutezza della vecchia sovranità. Questo potere, che si regge sugli assiomi del politically correct, per piegare qualsiasi resistenza e dissidenza non dispone dunque soltanto delle prigioni e dei tribunali, ma anche di strumenti inediti.

Anche il governo canadese di Justin Trudeau bloccò i conti correnti dei camionisti che manifestavano contro le misure pandemiche e dei loro sostenitori, questa scelta evidenzia una sempre maggiore deriva illiberale di stile cinese in corso in Occidente.

Se non si opera una liberalizzazione radicale dell’universo bancario e monetario dalla morsa dello Stato, questa feroce alleanza tra potere e interessi si rafforzerà sempre più. Purtroppo, le classi dirigenti progressiste dell’Europa e del Nord America sono da tempo un grave fattore di decivilizzazione: in parte per ragioni culturali, in parte per motivi strutturali e d’interesse.

I sinistri vi odiano e vogliono farvela pagare, prima o poi, anche quando sarete fuori dai giochi. Non gli passa mai. Sono esattamente come loro dipingono i nazisti: è la proiezione di se stessi.

La moda nelle sue innumerevoli sfaccettature è la protagonista Ephimera, un volume nato dal ciclo di conversazioni che si è tenuto al Parco archeologico del Colosseo, nella Curia Iulia, cuore della civiltà romana, tra il 2019 e il 2020.

Fugace, velocissima, radicata nel presente, la moda sta sempre sul punto di diventare qualcos’altro, di cambiare pelle. È proprio per questo che la curatrice Sofia Gnoli ha scelto Ephimera – da epi “sopra” che messo insieme ad emera “giorno”, significa di un sol giorno – come titolo di questi dialoghi. Il risultato è un libro che esplora la moda da una molteplicità di punti di vista: moda come linguaggio di segni, come espressione artistica, senza trascurare argomenti classici quali l’androginia o il dandysmo e il suo legame con il cinema e con la letteratura, con la fotografia e con il kitsch.

Il continuo scambio tra presente e passato, così come la natura polimorfica di questa disciplina si riflettono anche sulla diversa formazione dei partecipanti di Ephimera, nonché autori del volume: direttori creativi, artisti, saggisti, studiosi e giornalisti, hanno approfondito, attraverso la loro personale visione, un aspetto della contemporaneità. Attraverso tutti questi racconti, Ephimera traccia un quadro della moda con le sue mutevolezze, le sue imprevedibilità e le sue compulsive morti e rinascite. Così, tra presente e passato, tra effimero ed eternità, la moda non smette di incantare.

Russiagate, l’ombra della spy story si allunga su Esanatoglia «Qui c’è chi dice di aver visto Mifsud»

SULLE TRACCE del prof accusato dagli 007 americani di essere una spia. Avrebbe vissuto per un paio di mesi in un palazzo di via Contessa Pongelli e non a Matelica. Il sindaco Luigi Nazzareno Bartocci: «Io non so nulla, ma in paese non si parla d'altro»

Un reticolo di strade che conduce alla parte più antica di Esanatoglia. E’ la Pieve, quello che sarebbe stato il nascondiglio nel novembre e dicembre 2017 di Joseph Mifsud, il docente maltese implicato nel Russiagate e sospettato di essere una spia. Il suo caso è tornato al centro delle cronache perché in una recente intervista il suo avvocato Stephan Roh ha dichiarato che si era nascosto a Matelica. Oggi il giornale “La verità” ha ripreso la notizia svelando che il professore, scomparso nel nulla da due anni, sarebbe stato nascosto però ad Esanatoglia, in via Contessa Pongelli numero 6, nell’antico palazzo dei conti Pongelli, ora di proprietà di Alessandro Zampini, di professione dentista, ma residente a Roma, che torna nella città natale nei periodi di vacanza ed in estate.

Il vecchio palazzo dei nobili, a qualche decina di metri da piazza Giacomo Leopardi su cui si affaccia il Comune, che aveva ospitato nei secoli precedenti anche i duchi da Varano. E’ l’unico agibile di Largo Panicale, tutto intorno vi sono case lesionate dal terremoto. Un luogo meno transitato degli altri, all’epoca in cui vi sarebbe stato il professore. Due i portoni, uno in legno massiccio che fa entrare nella dimora di Zampini, l’altro a casa di una famiglia che risiede in Lombardia, i Calisti. Nell’intervista al giornale dichiarano di aver trascorso con il professore e Zampini la vigilia di Natale, bevendo whiskey al bar Centrale. Ad Esanatoglia molti cadono dalle nuvole, quando gli si chiede se abbiano mai visto il professore. Qualcuno giura di averlo visto passeggiare nella zona del Crocifisso. Il legame con Esanatoglia, secondo la ricostruzione de “La Verità” sarebbe nel nome di Vanna Fadini, compagna di Zampini, ed amministratrice della società che gestisce la Link University di Roma, in cui Mifsud collaborava. Nelle parole dei vicini di Zampini il professore era un uomo simpatico, presente in zona per scrivere un libro. La portata dei ricordi dopo due anni ed un terremoto di mezzo si affievolisce e la verità sta nelle parole di un pensionato a passeggio: «Potrei anche averlo visto a passeggio, andavo su in bici molte volte al giorno, ma vai a capire che era davvero lui, chi se lo ricorda». Resta fitto il mistero che avvolge la scomparsa di Mifsud e lo scandalo del Russiagate, con il tentativo dei russi di influenzare le elezioni presidenziali americane, un’indagine con propaggini romane e che vedrebbe di mezzo anche nomi di primo piano del panorama politico italiano. «Non so nulla di Joseph Mifsud – racconta il sindaco Luigi Nazzareno Bartocci – in quel periodo ero impegnatissimo nell’emergenza terremoto, che ancora oggi non è finita. Conosco da molto tempo Zampini, una famiglia storica di Esanatoglia, lui è un grande professionista, che torna in estate e durante le vacanze di Natale. Un uomo molto serio, da sempre mette a disposizione un terreno incolto di sua proprietà come pubblico parcheggio, i rapporti con il Comune sono ottimi. Per il resto non ho la minima idea di cosa sia accaduto, so soltanto che dopo l’articolo di oggi, qui non si parla di altro e c’è chi dice di aver visto il professore». Resta fitto il mistero di una possibile permanenza di un uomo che è al centro di uno scandalo internazionale, con tutti gli ingredienti di una spy story in piena regola, che sorridono al contrasto di un piccolo e tranquillo borgo medievale come Esanatoglia.

Prologue: In the early days.

The last name Harrington didn't hold any weight in the business, until one John Harrington married a Mariana Conti, whose family was well connected. Through hard work he proved to her father and grandfather that he could be trusted and welcomed into the dealings of their family's business, both as a lawyer and as a 'handyman'.

A year or so into their marriage the Harringtons welcomed their first and only son. Mariana's health not allowing for her to try for another child after him. With bright brown eyes though, Steve Alessandro Harrington was made heir to a life he had no idea would exist for him.

Mia's family similarly grew up around the Conti's. Her grandfather had been a right hand man of the family, her father would later on take over on his behalf. They became well acquainted with the new addition of John Harrington. Her father even making him a partner on the legitimate side of the business. This friendship and the family ties all led to ensuring the inner circle was tightly knit. Their kids growing up around each other, but some of those kids choosing to opt out of the life or grow with it.

For Steve, the choice was given to him as a birthright. The eldest son, and only child of his family, the responsibility of carrying what his father created to carry on. However it didn't stop him from being a well known guy, even popular to those around him. He had a charm about him that let him get away with it all. It certainly wasn't a bad thing that he was the athletics type, having been the winning quarterback of Hawkins high when he was in school.

He had it all, a different girl every other month with a false promise to his mother that he would settle down soon enough. Which was true, almost, he almost settled down once. It didn't work, he had fallen hard way too quickly, and even though he was a man of the game, this was the only time he got played the heavy hand. The situation was enough to make him more of the lone wolf type.

On the other hand, Mia was lucky to have two older brothers and a father who were protective enough to make sure there were no wise guys trying their luck on her. Not lucky enough though to avoid the fact that her eldest brother chose to leave the life behind and her other brother was sent away to the east coast as a favor to her father's family who needed someone out there. Still she was practically royalty in the life. Her image was sparkling clean and her family knew she would marry the best in their circle if they could help it.

But even with the way they both presented themselves to the outer world, it wouldn't change the fact that behind closed doors it was all bullshit. Steve would constantly fight back on his father's choices and orders, his future hanging on by a thread. For Mia, the reality was her life was full of hidden things, from her boyfriend who she desperately wanted to meet her family in hopes of changing their minds, to the smoking and pills she took to get by when trying to be sunshine was too hard.

They saw each other on and off at summer parties and once at school, but she was barely a freshman when he graduated. Their worlds rarely collided, maybe mentions of his name but it didn't matter to her, and he had no clue who she was, just a kid belonging to one of the guys in the club.

The summer before her senior year changed the way that though, changed everything about how they saw each other.
