Time for me to talk about Owen Coleman. Lucy Weasley's best friend. They become friends at the age of 12 and never leave each other's side. Owen is the sun and Lucy is the moon. The golden retriever and black cat duo. Lucy's the youngest of all the Weasley cousins and she's happy to finally be the leader after following Fred and James around her whole life. Owen's just happy to follow, he's too nice not too. Lucy's more reckless and Owen's scared she'll go off the deep end one day. Owen likes it when she calls him Colly and Lucy likes it when he calls her Luce. Out of the two of them, Lucy should've died first. She doesn't. Owen Coleman dies at the age of 19 in a drunken duel. He dies protecting Lucy, pushing her out of the way of a curse. Owen Coleman is dead and Lucy Weasley will never be alright again.

when phones are first introduced into the wizarding world, harry buys one and begins taking ridiculous amounts of photos of the wotter clan, all of which are printed out and stuffed into "the picture book" which is a collection of all the pictures taken.

james loves stealing harry's phone for pictures and eventually figures out how to film videos. he takes videos of random shit - teddy changing his hair color, victoire braiding the dominique's hair, albus and scorpius snuggling in perhaps the gayest fashion possible together on the couch, etc. harry eventually relents and buys a family phone so that they can all take videos, and hence, the vlogs begin.

shortly after they've begun their vlogging, harry says that they could technically upload them to the muggle internet if they're careful about teddy's metamorphmagus powers, pots cleaning themselves, etc. all the kids love this idea and make an account labeled "the weasels" which is where all of their videos go.

james always volunteers to film, but he is notorious for not holding the camera straight and catching anything but what's meant to be filmed.

teddy goes through all of the videos before they're posted and makes sure that there's no magic in them.

the kids take turns with the family phone and when they can't be together, they'll film little tidbits of their life in their homes.

albus is the best at filming, but scorpius constantly distracts him and they all end up having to do it again.

all of the videos are genuine, and half the time, their most popular ones weren't meant to be filmed.

sometimes, when a person can't be there, teddy will fill their place.

the internet raves over the weasels and absolutely adores their dynamics, although some things are a bit speculative ("anyone noticed the giant hoops in one of the backyards?" "why do they have a closet full of brooms? their house isn't that dusty.." "they don't have a dishwasher!" "am i crazy or did i see an owl at the window at 4:39 in the video?")

some videos are very short and simple, like hugo talking about a flower he found outside or roxanne complaining about fred's antics.

when the account was newly made, people kept asking for a family tree because fuck, is that family huge. because nobody can remember what kid belongs to what parent, they link it in every video.

teddy x victoire is a very popular ship among the muggles on the internet and it drives victoire insane.

same thing with albus x scorpius, which honestly, nobody was surprised about, causing both albus and scorpius to be insanely embarrassed because they thought nobody suspected them.

occasionally, draco & astoria or andromeda will pop in one of the videos and the comments will be flooded with "the family can't get much bigger, can it?"

their most popular video is the whole family going to an amusement park. it features teddy and victoire secretly getting filmed while going on a "date" (teddy offered to pay for victoire's ice cream)

harry is dubbed "everyone's favorite uncle" because he got teddy a motorcycle for his eighteenth birthday and he has a pet snake.

A diferencia de lo que muchos pensaban, James Sirius no se consideraba una persona fiestera, tenía dieciséis años y aunque estaba en una de las mejores etapas de su vida, no era la clase de chico que vivía en fiestas y bebía alcohol por diversión. Lo había probado, era cierto, no era ningún mojigato, pero cuando debía escoger él algún panorama para una salida con sus amigos, una fiesta no era su primera opción.

—Al, este no es mi ambiente, no me gustan las fiestas y menos de Halloween, sabes que no es un bonito día para papá— James empatizaba mucho con su padre, no quería decir que sus hermanos no lo hicieran, pero sentía que era diferente.

Él era el primer hijo, había compartido mucho más tiempo con su padre que sus dos hermanos menores y sabía de la gran carga que alguna vez se le impuso a su padre cuando tenía tan solo once años. Una carga que no lo abandonó hasta que cumplió veintidós y ya se hallaba casado y con un hijo esperando por nacer. Esas eran cosas que solo James Sirius sabía.

—Bueno, a él no le molesta que nosotros nos divirtamos y créeme que yo aprovecharé la noche, sobre todo ahora que le dieron permiso a Scorpius de venir a una fiesta con temática muggle.

—No es la primera vez que está en una…

—Ya lo sé, pero sabes cómo es su papá y sus abuelos, son un dolor de cabeza— pero no estaba tan alejado de los suyos.

James tenía que aceptar que ya no podía hacer nada más. Ya estaba en la fiesta que había organizado su prima, Rose podía ser un poco exagerada a la hora de preparar reuniones amistosas con no más de quince personas, pero debía haber hecho algo más pequeño teniendo en cuenta que no solo estarían ellos como los primos mayores, pues él juraba haber visto a Hugo dando vueltas por allí intentando impresionar a los demás con un no sé qué, que había recibido como obsequio de su tío George.

—¿No te estás divirtiendo? Es normal, no a todos les gusta Halloween— Dominique, su prima, apareció casi como de la nada.

—No es eso, es que… no me siento cómodo hoy. Me obligaron a venir porque Lily y Albus vendrían y tenían que estar siendo vigilados.

—Bueno, después de la última fiesta de Roxanne, cualquiera estaría más atento.

James recordaba vagamente esa ocasión porque estaba tan preocupado de seguir con la mirada a un chico desconocido al que había descubierto mirándolo toda la noche que no tenía ni idea de lo que había pasado hasta que se enteró al día siguiente que la mayoría de sus primos y sus dos hermanos se habían emborrachado a tal punto, que habían provocado un gran alboroto. No lo castigaron por beber alcohol porque no lo había hecho, pero sí por haber descuidado a Albus y a Lily.

—¿Quién es ese chico? — Dominique miraba con los ojos entrecerrados hacia el umbral de la entrada del jardín. Ella nunca lo había visto antes, pero James sí.

Era el mismo chico que estaba en la fiesta de Roxanne el año anterior para esas mismas fechas.

—Lo habrá invitado Fred, no lo sé, también estuvo para el incidente en la casa de Rox. Recuerdo haberlo visto toda la noche mirándome como si me conociera, pero jamás se me acercó.

—¿Fred tiene más amigos que nosotros o los hijos de Lee Jordan?

—Ahora también es buen amigo de Scorpius aunque sea mucho menor que él, así que puede que sea un avance el que invite a personas a fiestas familiares— Dominique se río porque había notado algo peculiar en el comentario de su primo.

Estaba incluyendo a Scorpius como parte de la familia, lo cual era extraño, pero poco a poco todos ya lo sentían como un Weasley más.

—Me perturba que no deje de mirarme— murmuró James sin apartar sus ojos del desconocido.

—Pues anda a confrontarlo.

—Es amigo de Fred, no puedo hacer eso.

—Estoy comenzando a dudar eso, porque ni siquiera él se le ha a acercado a hablar con él, puede que ni siquiera sea un conocido de nosotros y esté aquí como un maldito acosador, hasta su disfraz es aterrador.

Mientras que sus primos estaban vestidos como personajes de películas que no tenían nada que ver con el terror, ese chico llevaba una chaqueta de cuero encima de una polera manchada de lo que, a simple vista, parecía ser sangre falsa.

—Mira su sonrisa, es perturbadora. Puede que hasta sea un demonio, ya sabes que en Halloween suelen abrirse portales al infierno y los muertos caminan sobre la tierra como todos nosotros.

—No seas fantasiosa, Dominique.

—Ya, está bien, pero creo que deberías ir a hablar con él y decirle que deje de acosarte o le diré a Teddy que lo haga ya que él es el mayor.

—No, no le digas a él. Conozco lo suficiente a Teddy como para saber que es capaz de llamar a mi papá y arruinarles la fiesta a todos. ¿Acaso olvidas que es un poco paranoico?

—Lo entiendo, yo también estaría paranoica si un loco que no conozco aparece justo un año después en una fiesta con la misma temática— James Sirius solo negó, no quería tener a su padre allí.

Harry Potter podía ser un poco… complicado. Y él más que nadie lo sabía, era uno de sus hijos después de todo.

—¿Adónde vas? — preguntó Dominique al ver cómo se levantaba de la silla de plástico.

—Pues a hablar con él como me dijiste, tal vez tienes razón y sea una muy buena idea que se vaya.

—Ten mucho cuidado James, no podemos usar magia fuera de Hogwarts y no sabemos quién es este loco.

Pero ya no la estaba escuchando pues su atención, otra vez, estaba dirigida a ese chico desconocido que no había dejado de observarlo, ahora con una expresión un poco asustada, como si no quisiera que se acercara, pero, aun así, no intentaba escapar.

—Hola, ¿nos conocemos?

—Tú a mí no, pero yo a ti sí que te conozco— respondió el chico, armándose de valor.

—Vaya, en serio eres un acosador. Soy James Sirius Potter, aunque creo que eso ya lo sabes.

—Dike Behemoth, un gusto— extendió su mano, sonriendo.

De cerca, James reparó en algo que le dio un poco de miedo y es que las manchas sobre su camisa no eran falsas, esa era sangre real.

Tal vez Dominique tenía razón, puede que en los días de la muerte, esta se paseara como un ser humano más en la tierra.

I saw you doing a bunch of next gen rarepairs! I remember seeing domphi, I think the fic writer called it, on wattpad and literally haven’t seen it anywhere since but Dominique and Delphi was low key kinda cute. I also remember Roxanne and Frank being a thing, I think I saw someone call them rockbottom (don’t remember who, but damn that’s a sassy shipname). I’m also obsessed with Yannpius and Karlbus but I think everyone else ships Scorbus 😭😭😭

Is Yannpius Yann x Scorpius and Karlbus Karl x Albus? Sorry I know the characters but not much about what’s happening in the fandom so I usually need people to tell me what their ships are especially if they’re rarepairs. I’m guessing based off name, of course.

some reunions are quite necessary. 

Rosalie’s death took quite a toll on them. Still, they insisted that they saw each other at least once a year, at the same date, to celebrate her. It was the hardest for Albus — who did everything he could to dive in his relationship with Lorcan, and his work on Diagon Alley. It was also at the time of her death, that Dominique decided to stop working as a coroner, as the last body she saw on a table was her friend’s one. Agata was probably living far away, but she always did the effort to come and celebrate Rosalie, for she felt it was the least she could do. Kieran always took his vacations from his work at that time, so he can invest one hundred percent in the event. Ted was not the closest friend Rosalie had, but considering the role she played in his relationship with Victoire, he couldn’t help but feel the guilt, admitting that maybe he could’ve been a little nicer to her, and that she wouldn’t be gone if it wasn’t for him. Rose always looked as if she wasn’t affected, able to distance herself from bad things, but it was quite obvious that she has also distanced herself, generally from everyone. Lily Luna, next to Kieran, and as a support to her brother, always did her best for that event — and she frankly admitted that she was the reason she decided to work as a social worker. Hugo  couldn’t assist to the first reunions, for he was institutionalized in St Mungo’s — but he did his best to never miss a reunion afterwards. And Anton, poor Anton, who never came home, never stopped travelling, except at that time, when he comes home next to her.
