Outstanding

Big'n - End Comes Too Soon (Computer Students) - Tough as nails Chicago noiserock merchants doing their thing and doing it well.

Idles - Tangk (Partisan) - Noisy, bewildering experimental punk from these snotty Brits.

The Paver - First Boredom, Then Fear (self-released) - Chicago band comes out of retirement to hand us a brutal reminder of what it is to be human.

Very Good

Shellac - To All Trains (Touch & Go) - Abrasive yet not off-puttting. A fitting farewell from Steve Albini's long-running and mega-influential band.

Brain Cave - Foot Off The Gas (Tiny God) - Old-school 90s noiserock from Cleveland.

Also Good (but probably only for genre diehards and true fans)

Moon Pussy - Death Is Coming (The Ghost Is Clear) - Raging slabs of miscreant energy from Denver.

Blacklisters - This Is Not An Album By BLKLSTRS (Reptilian) - Snottty bad attitudes wrapped in noisy punk rock from Leeds.
