It took me WAY too long to realize that Sonia from Danganronpa 2 is a Nirvana joke/reference. It was obvious, but I didn’t connect the dots before.

Sonia “Nevermind”. Nevermind is the name of Nirvana’s most famous album. She’s the princess of Novoselic. The bassist for Nirvana was Krist Novoselic.

So Mod I see you changed things as originally you had Noveselic be a neutral state but now they're part of NATO, any reason for this or did I misread previous sections?

Well, that was the idea at first, but now that I think about it, given Novoselic's history and the fact that Yugoslavia in this AU would be aggressive towards them, it makes sense for them to ally with NATO in an attempt to protect and arm themselves.

Kingdom of Novoselic Headcanons

The majority of Novoselican citizens live in poverty. 

 Any wealth gained are given to the monarchy and the upper classes. 

They have an official religion supported by occult practices. 

There are non-fatal blood sacrifices for their god using human blood.   

 The country is almost impossible to leave.     

They have strict mostly nonsensical rules that if not followed results in severe  punishment.    

Novoselic isolates itself from other countries. 

The leaders want only select information to come in and out of the country. 

The architecture style is a mix of Rococo and Victorian.  

Most music produced from there is instrumental. 

Makangos aren’t real. They’re a popular cryptid and a regularly spread myth, especially to those from outside of the country.  

Novoselic is way less advanced in technology than other European countries.  

Skongs are Pika.       

 The only official language is Novoselician. 

 Novoselic strongly rejects any foreign influence.   

There are no amusement parks, no water parks, no carnivals, no festivals, and no clubs.  

The Novoselic royal castle takes up 500 acres. 

Novoselic supplies almost all of its own economic goods.  

The country has abolished the death penalty completely but  all their prisons are private.   

Novoselic is very anti immigration. It’s a harsh process to get any form of citizenship. Those who immigrate from the country, even temporarily, are considered traitors.  This all obviously excludes royalty. 

The royal castle is surrounded by heavy walls. 

 Novoselic has its own set of catacombs. 

It’s around 300 miles long. 

In addition to having a strong military and many bodyguards, Novoselic's royalty also has secret groups of hitmen and assassins.

Fenrir is one of Novoselic's strongest opposers.
