wait mera!!!! in the lost city au, if floyb is the cover model and azul is the eccentric billionaire, then who’s taking brad pitt’s role????
OOOO hmmm,,, I think Rook would be the most fitting for that role despite what ultimately happens to him in the film. ;;;; the role is eccentric enough to suit the equally eccentric Rook.
I rewatched the film recently and some of Alan's dialogue with the characters really does feel like Floyb. That exchange when Alan insists on coming with to help Jack Trainer for "back-up and awesomeness" or when Jack Trainer asks if he likes "this woman" (referring to Loretta) and Alan replies with, "Well, I just brought snacks. I know she gets kinda grumpy when she doesn't eat and I get it. I'm a five-meals-a-day kinda guy." AAAAAA IT FEELS SO FLOYB TO ME!!!! OTL

Agere List
To me Carer/Regressor dynamics are different than your typical Romantic/Platonic/Familial type of realationships, so I've decided to make a separate list for F/Os who are my Caregivers, or who I Caregive for.
This is very different from a headcanon list of characters who I think are Caregivers/Regressors, this is characters I personally have this relationship with. I am also only a Caregiver in a Fictional space, and cannot CG a real regressor in the real world.
Thankyou for your attention, list below the cut.

Skylab Missions: Skylab 3
Tumblr media
*
Tumblr media
"These three men are the prime crewmen for the Skylab 3 mission. Pictured in the one-G trainer Multiple Docking Adapter (MDA) at the Johnson Space Center (JSC) are, left to right, scientist-astronaut Owen K. Garriott, science pilot; and astronauts Jack R. Lousma and Alan L. Bean, pilot and commander, respectively."
Mission Duration: July 28 - September 25, 1973
Time Duration: 58 days, 15 hours, 39 minutes, 42 seconds
"The Skylab 3 mission started out as routine, but was not without in-flight high drama of its own. Shortly after docking and entering the Orbital Workshop (OWS), all three crew members experienced motion sickness, delaying the activation of OWS on-board equipment.
Tumblr media
A more serious concern was raised on Mission Day-5 (MD-5). An apparent failure of two of the four thruster quadrants of the Command Service Module (CSM) reaction control system was detected.
Not only could an actual failure like this create an early end to the mission, it also could conceivably render the CSM incapable of supporting a safe return of the astronauts to Earth.
Launch crews at the Kennedy Space Center were placed on a 24-hour per-day, seven day per-week work schedule to prepare the Skylab 4 Saturn IB launch vehicle for flight in case an early launch was needed for a rescue operation."
Tumblr media
The Skylab 4 Saturn IB (CSM-118/SA-208) launch vehicle is rolled to Launch Complex 39, Pad B.
"A decision was made to continue the mission, and although the Skylab 4 launch vehicle had been rushed to flight-readiness, the CSM performed flawlessly during re-entry operations.
Tumblr media
On August 6, 1973 astronauts Garriott and Lousma performed a spacewalk which lasted 6 hours, 31 minutes. During this spacewalk, the astronauts were able to extend an external twin-pole thermal shield to replace the parasol thermal shield installed by the Skylab 2 crew. They also retrieved and replaced film from solar telescopes housed outside the OWS.
A second spacewalk by astronauts Garriott and Lousma was conducted on August 24, 1973. This one lasted 4 hours, 31 minutes. During this spacewalk, the astronauts retrieved and replaced film from solar telescopes housed outside the OWS and installed a cable for a new rate gyro package. They also performed some maintenance activities.
The third and final spacewalk of the mission was conducted on September 22, 1973. This one was conducted by astronauts Bean and Garriott and lasted 2 hours, 41 minutes. During this spacewalk, the astronauts retrieved and replaced film from solar telescopes housed outside the OWS and performed maintenance activities on other external experiment packages.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Scientific experiments, including the observation of unanticipated dynamic solar activity, continued for much of the 59-day mission. The crew participated in classroom-oriented educational demonstrations regarding weightlessness.
Tumblr media
The Skylab 3 crew set a new manned space flight endurance record. Their in-flight health fared markedly better than the Skylab 2 crew, with the exception of the amount of bone calcium loss.
Tumblr media
A significant demonstration of long-term space flight and the long-term viability of the OWS was successfully achieved."
* Due to a NASA management error, crewed Skylab mission patches were designed in conflict with the official mission numbering scheme.
Tumblr media
An interesting side note, the wives created their version of the patch. I've covered the NSFW bits just so the Tumblr staff doesn't mark my blog as NSFW.
"The main feature on the second Skylab crew patch was Leonardo da Vinci's universal man, slightly retouched to make it 'G-rated'! Without their husbands knowledge, the astronaut wives also had a patch made which was a joke version of the official crew patch. The universal man figure had been replaced by a 'universal woman'. Instead of the astronauts names; Bean, Garriott and Lousma, their wives first names were shown: Sue, Helen-Mary and Gratia. The crew first became aware of the wives patch when they found stickers of them in their lockers on board Skylab."

CORE presents The Co-Op 2023 - Update #03
This is the third and final update announcing the cards for nights three and four of the CORE Co-Op 2023 taking place on April 1st and April 2nd from the Pico Union Project in Los Angeles, California.
April 1st
UltraMantis Black's Tofu Scramble Madness
We’ve dined on Pancakes And Piledrivers. We’ve attended Big Gay Brunches. We’ve even sipped Rosé All Day. But nothing could prepare us for UltraMantis Black’s Tofu Scramble Madness! Six action packed scramble matches and six delicious tofu scramble options.
The opening contest will be a tag team scramble match and participants include: 2022 New Japan Super Junior Tag League participants and recent Impact Wrestling pairing of KUSHIDA and Kevin Knight (not to be confused with the IWF wrestling trainer of the same name). NWA Wrestling’s Miserably Faithful team of Gaagz The Gymp and Sal The Pal. A team that has made a name for themselves up and down the west coast, Eddie Pearl and Ricky Gibson also known as Midnight Heat. And finally, the break out tag team of early 2023 by way of 1983, The OutRunners of Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd.
The second scramble match features six women looking to take the next step in their careers. Managed by the man of the hour, UltraMantis Black, his new discovery Giant Baba Yaga will be wrestling her second match of the weekend. Representing Gatoh Move is Mei Suruga, they’ve recently ventured to CMLL and AEW and Mei will be putting all she has learned to the test in this scramble. KiLynn King is one of the hottest free agents on the American women’s wrestling scene; she’ll look to build on her impressive resume here. A veteran of independent women’s wrestling that has found a home on the west coast and improved exponentially as a wrestler in recent years, Delilah Doom. The God of TJPW Raku brings her effervescent charm to this scramble match. The final participant and likely the betting favorite is Trish Adora, a wrestler that has repeatedly proved their mettle against most of the top names on the independent scene today.
Up next will be another tag team scramble. Kevin Blackwood and Alan Angels are a new pairing that have made a handful of impressive showings on the west coast and are looking for their biggest win yet. Bad Dude Tito and Che Cabrera have done it all on the California independent scene and would love to put their skills on display for an international audience. Prince Nana leads his Embassy pairing of Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona into the madness. Much as their forefathers terrorized the rings of New Japan and the coast of Florida, the Gaspar Brothers have taken no prisoners since appearing in CORE and look to continue their swashbuckling in Los Angeles.
The next scramble will be a special Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling showcase featuring four of the top tag teams in TJPW. First, former challengers for the TJPW Princess Tag Team titles looking to climb their way back into contention, Arisu Endo and Suzume better known as Daisy Monkey. The next team have dominated the preliminary tag team scene in TJPW and are looking for a win in this match to climb the ladder, the duo of Hikari Noa and Nao Kakuta also known as Free WiFi. The third team won the 2022 Max Heart Tag Team Tournament, Hakuchumu of Miu Watanabe and Rika Tatsumi. The final team and the runners up in the 2023 Max Heart Tag Team Tournament, Shoko Nakajima and Hyper Misao who team as Kyoraku Kyomei.
The semi-final match will be a special showcase of many of the wrestlers that helped popularize the Scramble Match format. Up first, from the heavens, it’s Jack Evans. Secondly, the world traveled veteran Matt Sydal. Third, the founder of Paparazzi Productions, Alex Shelley. Fourth will be the wild eyed Mark Briscoe. Perhaps no one in wrestling has more scramble match experience than our last two participants from their time representing Special K, participants five and six are Hydro and Slim J.
And the main event will be a dream tag team scramble match you’ll never see anywhere else but at The Co-Op. Representing the DDT office, two future aces and participants in the 2022 Trios Kingdom tournament, MAO and Yuki Ueno. This match will see the one night only reunion of foundational members of both the Burning and the Sternness factions in All Japan Pro-Wrestling and NOAH, Jun Akiyama and Yoshinobu Kanemaru. In the third corner will be the top faction in CORE, representing The Last Wave will be Josh Alexander and Mr. Takeshita. And finally, led to the ring by The Bunny, it will be The Butcher and The Blade.
UltraMantis Black's Tofu Scramble Madness 01. KUSHIDA and Kevin Knight vs. Miserably Faithful (Gaagz The Gymp and Sal The Pal) (with James Mitchell) vs. Midnight Heat (Eddie Pearl and Ricky Gibson) vs. The OutRunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) 02. Giant Baba Yaga vs. Mei Suruga vs. KiLynn King vs. Delilah Doom vs. Raku vs. Trish Adora 03. Kevin Blackwood and Alan Angels vs. Wolf Zaddies (Bad Dude Tito and Che Cabrera) vs. The Embassy (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) (with Prince Nana) vs. Gaspar Brothers (Bobby Gaspar and Bucky Gaspar) 04. Daisy Monkey (Arisu Endo and Suzume) vs. Free WiFi (Hikari Noa and Nao Kakuta) vs. Hakuchumu (Miu Watanabe and Rika Tatsumi) vs. Kyoraku Kyomei (Shoko Nakajima and Hyper Misao) 05. Jack Evans vs. Matt Sydal vs. Alex Shelley vs. Mark Briscoe vs. Hydro vs. Slim J 06. The 37KAMIINA (MAO and Yuki Ueno) vs. Sternness (Jun Akiyama and Yoshinobu Kanemaru) vs. The Last Wave (Josh Alexander and Mr. Takeshita) vs. The Butcher and The Blade (with The Bunny)
Terry Funk's WrestleFest 2023 - 75 Years Of Funk
On September 11th of 1997, Terry Funk celebrated 50 years of the Funk family in Amarillo with Terry Funk’s WrestleFest. Now on April 1st 2023, we celebrate 75 Years Of Funk with Terry Funk’s WrestleFest 2023.
Opening the card will be Athena, Raychell Rose, and Queen Aminata facing off against the truly unpredictable trio of the legendary Aja Kong teaming with the current TJPW Princess Tag Team Champions, the Wasteland War Party of Max The Impaler and Heidi Howitzer.
In Terry Funk’s final match in Japan, he was part of a victorious six man tag team with Japanese shoot style legend Masakatsu Funaki. Honoring this partnership as well as the technical wrestling style his brother Dory Funk, Jr. was so well known for, the second match will see Masakatsu Funaki squaring off with Timothy Thatcher.

TAKA Michinoku's These Days 2
One of the seminal events in the history of Japanese professional wrestling, in October 1996 the Michinoku Pro promotion presented a card that would popularly be known as “These Days.” In 2023, The Co-Op closes out the weekend with TAKA Michinoku’s These Days 2.
The opening match will feature a European Rounds match between British wrestling legend Johnny Kidd and one of the top young talents on the American wrestling scene, Titus Alexander. This match-up pays tribute to the contest between Johnny Saint and Naohiro Hoshikawa.
The second match will be a women’s tag team match featuring Tokyo Joshi Pro’s 21000000 tag team consisting of Miyu Yamashita and Maki Itoh taking on JTO’s GIRLS 2 TOP team of Tomoka Inaba and Yuu Yamagata.
Up next, JTO top prospects Ren Ayabe and Fire Katsumi will see how they measure up against the imposing United Empire tag team of Will Ospreay and Jeff Cobb.
In the semi-main event of the evening, the legendary Blue Panther will team with the nephews of the Dynamite Kid, Mark Billington and Thomas Billington to challenge the equally legendary Atlantis who teams with Great Sasuke and Tiger Mask IV. This match-up pays tribute to the Dynamite Kid’s final match when he teamed with Dos Caras and Kuniaki Kobayashi against Mil Mascaras, the original Tiger Mask, and The Great Sasuke.
And in the main event, TAKA Michinoku leads his Just 4 Guys faction with Taichi, DOUKI, and Yoshinobu Kanemaru against the team of Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler YUTA. It will be Just 4 Guys taking on The Blackpool Combat Club.

Yooooooooo, I just saw The Lost City and I spent the whole movie laughing and wheezing my ass off with my friend. As a writer, I related SO MUCH to Sandra Bullock’s character, Channing Tatum’s character was an incredible himbo, we love an unhinged Daniel Radcliffe, AND BRAD FRIGGIN’ PITT*.
(Y’all are sleeping on how much fun he was. Like yeah, Tatum was hilarious and adorable and we all loved him, but c’mon.)
*Did you know he’s 58!? Unbelievable.

What’s funny about the “Jack Reacher” series to me is that even though it’s presented like a Tom Clancy-esque spy/political thriller series, they’re more like romance novels. You have the main protagonist, Jack Reacher, who is this big, handsome, intelligent, charming, morally-righteous homeless guy who always knows what to do in a tense situation. In fact, he’s such a dreamboat that he has a revolving door of love interests who just can’t help but fall for him.
Remember the movie “The Lost City”? Reacher is basically a more serious version of Dash McMahon (or just Jack Trainer). I mean, Alan Ritchson even has similar vibes to Channing Tatum, just saying.

the lost city: my thoughts
I loved it. It was refreshing, tbh.
Often when I watch rom-action or romcom movies, which I tend to avoid because of reasons i will state now, I keep finding myself either rewriting a scene or flipping the characters’ genders simply because of the sheer passive sexism in the movies.
but this was one of the movies where I was surprised to find that I didn’t want to. It was perfectly non-sexist, and there were no gender norms that were adhered to. 100% recommend
spoilers:
Sandra Bullock plays a writer, Loretta Sage, who took up writing steaming romance against the backdrop of adventure (adventure that is actually based on actual historic findings made by her and her husband) because no one wanted to publish her non-fiction books. She’s lost her husband, and one of the things i found really amazing was that yes, her husband had died, and yes she had isolated herself in her grief, but her husband wasn’t her entire identity. the story does not take place because her husband had been searching for the same crown of fire and he died, and now she has to complete it because she has the chance.
she does it, she steals the parchment from Abigail Fairfax (played by Daniel Radcliffe), not because of her husband or anyone but because if it’s true, she wants to find it, she wants to preserve the history, preserve the memory of Queen Taha and King Kalaman (or possibly Calaman) love. Is her husband and her grief referenced? Absolutely. but her character is not minimised to it. and i love that.
another thing that is very subtle is that Loretta is obviously older than Alan (Channing Tatum’s character) and I love that, because almost always do you see this young girl and an older boy.
also, there was basically a dirty talk scene, well not exactly dirty talk, where Loretta describes how she would write Dash and Lovemore’s sex scene if Dr Lovemore had been helping Dash with his Eczema outbreak. honestly, amazing, because Alan was obviously turned on by that, and also because it’s often times the boy who dirty talked and made some sort of reference that turned the girl on.
Another thing is that Alan never demeans Loretta. Never diminishes her experience and listens to her. Does he want to save her? Yeah, but to prove to her that he can, not because she can’t save herself because she’s a woman.
I love that Alan was also made this complex character who understands his thoughts and his feelings and that he didn’t suddenly know how to fight when he previously had no experience whatsoever. you’ll be surprised how many times that happens. also it was hilarious how he stated that Jack Trainer (Brad Pitt) loved him. I love how starstruck and obvious his crush was on him. Alan was bisexual (well, it’s not explicitly stated, but it showed) , and it showed and was not diminished at all.
i also loved beth (Da'Vine Joy Randolph) , the publisher, she was just this freaking amazing badass person who was referenced to be aromantic (as seen by her telling Oscar that he was her platonic male friend, at least i took it to mean that and not her telling him that they were never going to be together) and I loved Oscar Nunez’s character. Brad Pitt was awesome!!!!! basically this story was awesome  and I’d recommend it to everyone.
oh, and how could i forget Daniel Radcliffe, aka Harry Potter. LOVED HIM! Someone stated on Youtube that Daniel Radcliffe should keep playing evil billionaires who makes people steal for him, and honestly, I agree

Bakarina Pokemon AU.
Katarina is reincarnated as the rival character to the protagonist of the new Pokemon game, Pokemon Fortune and Pokemon Lover, Rival Katarina.
Her pokemon Team starts with a Eevee, since in this region everyone gets a Eevee as a starter, but her pokemon's growth as a Pokemon it's stunted and can't evolve neither by stone nor other means, so it stays a Eevee till the end. OG Katarina, in game, hated her Eevee and abused her for this, ending up abandoning her to the elrments, but Bakarina is just glad that Pokemon are real and spoils her rotten from the start.
Her Eevee can charm both male and female pokemon with Charm, but is as dense as her trainer when it comes to it. She has her own Eeveelutions Bisexual Harem with the others' eeveelutions.
Bakarina then gets: A weak, scared Zubat, later a Golbat who ends up becoming a Crobat during a critical moment to save her life, a Energetic Mankey, later evolved in a belligerant toward bullies Primeape, a dead eyed Magikarp who also never evolves due to everstone embed in its scails, almost making him look like a shiny, but who also had her teach him both flail and endure, a Dunsparce she captured only because it was scaring Geordo shitless and she needed that, and is the most trained of her pokemon by far, and a female salandit, later evolved into a Salazzle, for obvious reasons.
The protagonist of the OG Games is named Maria by default, and starts the game with both a Eevee (Later Jolteon due to the, well, thunderstruck nature of the character) and a Togepi egg. All her other Pokemons are only Pokemon she can evolve by trade, and there is a mechanic in-game where you can trade with one of the other gym leaders or rivals, and raise your FORTUNE/LOVER score with them given the trust that comports, and Katarina needs to know who she wants to trade her pokemon with, who she wants to raise her score with... and why does she keeps asking her to trade with her?
Geordo is the Elite 4 Champion, with Gym Leader Alan as his brother and rival trying to also become elite 4 champion. Alan has fire gym (Flareon), Geordo's Team is Jack of all trades (Vaporeon).
Gym Leader Mary has a Grass Type gym (Leafeon), while Gym Leader Nicol has a Ice Type Gym (Glaceon).
Lass Sophia is not a gym leader but is a recurring character herself, almost another rival. She has an all shiny team, and mostly uses Fairies (Sylveon) and, awkwardly enough, a not Shiny female Primape she claims to be a memento of a old friend. Bakarina is as dense as always, but is glad her own female primape is getting along so well with Sophia's when they leave them at the daycare together, they must be the best of gal pals.
Gym Leader Keith took over the Claes family gym now that Katarina is set to be married to the elite 4 champion, which us traditionally a Dark Gym (Umbreon). He still uses also a Golem tho, originally Bakarina's, who she traded with him as a gift since she wanted him to have him instead, and evolved after he got it, Katarina insisting he kept him as a gift, keeping the Magikarp he gave her instead, both treasuring their new pokemons to this day.
Needless to say, you know who (no spoilers here) gets a Espeon with a particularly strong hypnosis, and is the leader of the local Evil Team.
