I've read the main story and now I'm going through some of the Ao3 one-shots and tumblr lore of the AOP timelines. My favorites so far are the Peaceful Timeline and Dark Timeline.

However in regard to the Peaceful Timeline. I know that technically a brunt of the focus on Ymir's story, Optimus and Megatron raising Ymir from scared young woman to married mother or two children. Megatron learning to love a human as his own daughter, etc.

However, the recent few posts in the Peaceful Timeline are 2,000 years in the future where Eren, Armin, and Mikasa are in high school and it's more Modern AU. And at this point we know Megatron and Optimus have lived together for 2,000 years watching the world evolve, and even evolving with it (aka able to put their brains together to make a groundbridge, which is impressive considering Optimus struggled with a tracker) but hiding in the shadows.

Anyways, Optimus and Megatron are probably at least friends at this point. Maybe they have that 'brothers' bond back from Cybertron. They are not hostile to each other in front of others anymore, probably. Which was the whole reason in the main story that Connie, Jean, Sasha, and Levi called Megatron "Prime's Ex".

But if Jean, Connie, and Sasha were to meet Megatron and Optimus in this timeline....would they just call Megatron "Prime's anti-social boyfriend/husband"?

Also did the village ever ask if Matthew and Orion were married?

Anyways, that was stuck in my brain.

Previous Episode of the Peaceful Timeline

So first of all, thank you for enjoying my work. I really appreciate it. Now let's get into this.

So I didn't have any real intentions to get Jean, Connie, and Sasha involved with Optimus and Megatron in the 2,000 year time skip. Those three don't share the same interests Eren, Armin, and Mikasa have, so they never get caught up into the chaos until way after the fact. It would be hard to have an opinion on them with no prior interaction.

In regards to the dynamic between Optimus and Megatron from the perspective of other people, for example the villagers, they really just saw Optimus and Megatron as brothers the minute they started arguing with each other. There's is arguing as a couple and then arguing as siblings. There is a stark difference between the two. That didn't mean they didn't have questions about the family dynamic. Like Maria was clearly Ymir's child, but she called both Optimus and Megatron 'Papa'.

And yes, they started to reconnect when taking care of Ymir and Maria, but that didn't go away after they passed on. They were both grieving, and Rose told them to go back home and leave her behind in her old age. They only had each other during those 2,000 years. They're going to spend that time trying to further repair their relationship while also trying to keep their sanity. They do this by keeping the cabin intact, keeping track of Ymir's descendants, and repairing that groundbridge together. They reforged their bond as brothers.

And now since I'm here talking about that 2,000 year time skip, Optimus and Megatron have definitely been up to some shenanigans. For example, Optimus and Megatron are technically rich. They do have money saved up that they have gotten over the past 2,000 years and they use it to either A: give to Ymir's descendants in the event they are in financial trouble, or B: when they need to find a way to use human supplies of their own.

They also visit places to have fun. National land monuments, museums, libraries, theatres, plays, movies, the zoo, they have to find ways to occupy their time. I have also brought up in conversation with @justawannabearchaeologist and @echoblaze5 that Optimus and Megatron might have been the cause of one or two revolutions. Like one of Ymir's descendants is the equivalent of Robespierre and they started the equivalent of the French Revolution. They had to quickly swoop in and save this descendant from getting decapitated via guillotine. But that didn't stop Megatron from helping out with the mob.

They have also gone out of their way to steal plans to create atomic bombs in order to stall major cataclysmic events. They steal the schematics for it, burn down the lab, and bolt.

Megatron as the two of them are running in holoforms: By the Allspark, why are we stealing this?!

Optimus: To prevent Hiroshima and Nagasaki!

Megatron: I don't know what those words mean!

Any time that the government has tried to catch onto them, Megatron quickly has to take a page from Soundwave and scramble any and all information about them. They've had years to prepare for the government trying to track them once they got technology.

If its not too much trouble, I’d love any advice on where to start with Batman or Batfam(?) stuff, I saw someone suggest reading the Batman: Wayne Family Adventures thing on webtoon as an intro to the characters so I’ve been doing that, but I’ve got no clue about any of the official comics or shows/movies/etc. I’ve never read a comic series before so everything is super new to me.

I know different series(?)/versions(?) can be wildly different bc of different writers and stuff, I definitely trust your taste on what would be good / enjoyable bc the posts you’ve been reblogging are like 90% of whats gotten me interested in the first place

Hey I am legit SO happy that you sent me this ask this is literally my favorite thing to do!!!!

So to start with I do actually agree that wfa is a good starting point but for a different reason than I feel most people would recommend it. The thing about wfa is that it has a consistent design for every character, is humorous, touches not only on the main batfamily members but also many extended members, other noteworthy people in Gotham, and the batfamily's cast of friends and teammates as well. This means that while its approach to characterization is incredibly fanon-y, it's a good basis for how to continue. You read wfa, and you know that Dick is the first robin, wears ridiculous costumes, was batman for a bit, is nightwing, part of the teen titans... this isn't a lot, but it's just enough to orient yourself before jumping into some of the most convoluted art ever created, aka the comic world.

Another tip I'm gonna give you is to let yourself be confused. I think the people who end up sticking with comics are people who are aware that if they pick up a comic it's very likely the writers and artists have read and worked on comics that you haven't read yet or even heard of, so you're always going to be missing something. That's fine. If something is really important to the plot, it gets explained; if it's not, it's windowdressing. Often there'll be little boxes saying what comic and issue they're referencing, so if you find it interesting you can just go read it - otherwise, if it's not there, you can google it, or go to any comic fan and ask "hey do you know what this is about?" and if they know, they will answer. There is nothing a comic fan wants more than to explain how to get into their favorite character/s, trust me.

Anyway this has been a very wordy intro but here are some potential starting points for the batfamily!

You know who he is. Pick up an issue of Batman or Detective Comics and he's there. Pick up an issue of any other DC comic and there's like a 30% chance he's there too.

First story is Jason's death, second is Tim's introduction and arguably the start of the batfamily being a family

Batman himself isn't actually my favorite but you know he's got some decent stuff since he's, uh, the main character. DC doesn't have a multiverse the way Marvel does - and getting into that would be a whole separate ask - but their elseworlds are stories about the characters in different situations. Some ones I've heard good things about include Gotham by Gaslight, Dark Knights of Steel, Batman: Last Knight on Earth, and I keep meaning to get into Batman: White Knight, which is a whole other universe on its own. I've been trying to get into more modern batman stuff and unfortunately I just haven't clicked with anything.

Dick Grayson

Guy has been in a lot of things. If you read a random Batman comics from before 1980, there's a good chance he'll be there.

Teen Titans and The New Teen Titans and Titans (1980s-2000s)

I haven't read enough of these to say much of anything, but he's a founding member of the TT

Nightwing

His post-Robin superhero identity. At first only present in NTT and occasional Batman comics, but eventually he gets his own miniseries in the early 90s, followed by an ongoing. Recently-ish started reading them and they're angsty and very 90s in a lot of ways but I'm enjoying it

Modern Nightwing titles also exist. For sure.

Batman & Robin by Morrison

In one of DC's ten million crises, Bruce "dies", and after a short story called Battle for the Cowl, Dick ends up becoming Batman. Damian is his Robin. It's an interesting time for batman comics, although not necessarily the best writing that Dick has ever gotten.

Batman: The Dark Mirror

Also a great story for the Gordons. Bruce is back from the dead, but Dick is still Batman in Gotham. This was my first even Batman comic and it's really good.

Obviously there's other stories, such as Grayson, where he becomes a super spy for a bit. There's a million and a half reading lists for Dick out there as he's a massively popular character and he's one of the characters DC is pushing the most right now. As with all the rest of these, these are good entry points; from there I trust you to find your way

Barbara Gordon

The original Batgirl, sort of (nobody really brings up bette kane unless they're pointing out that babs wasn't the original Batgirl, she's just not important). She appears sporadically in silver and bronze age batman comics and detective comics, but she quits being Batgirl shortly before being raped and shot in the spine by the joker in Batman: the Killing Joke, which I purposefully did not put on my rec list.

I've been reliably told to stay away from her Batgirl runs - most people who are a fan of the character don't like that they retconned Oracle away and it's mostly not very well written. There's a comic called batgirls that lasted about a year that included her, and it's okay.

Jason gets called a hot a bunch of times, and is shirtless a lot. This doesn't matter but you know, like, yeah it does.

For Robin!Jason there's also Batman: The Cult - which I finally got my hands on recently but haven't read yet. For Red Hood!Jason there's lots of stuff, but most of it isn't very good or is actively bad. Most people will tell you to stay away from Red Hood and the Outlaws, and they're right, although the 2016 run is better. Most people will tell you to read Batman & Red Hood: Cheer, and they're wrong, it's ass.

Tim Drake

Frankly this boy has no flops. Or very close to it.

Batman: A Lonely Place of Dying

Tim figured out who Batman and Robin are at AGE NINE. Respect.

After this he appears in various Batman and detective comics issues, I haven't read any of these.

Robin

The first Robin to get his own ongoing! Like with Nightwing, it started with a miniseries (a few of them, actually) and got turned into a long running series from there. Lasted like 200 issues, too.

Tim FUCKS.

Not Steph's first appearance, but most of her appearances pre-2009 are in this series.

Young Justice 1998

It's insane in all the best ways. Cars have sex on panel. They play baseball to save the world on an alien planet. A power of friendship speech prevents the end of the world. In the first issue, a woman develops breasts so big she falls on her face.

This team eventually breaks apart and Tim along with 3 other teen heroes nicknamed the core four (Superboy, Impulse, & Wonder Girl II) become part of Teen Titans 2003, which I haven't read and is also a bit of a flop era fashion wise for everyone anyway. I do have the volume of TT03 where they meet the versions of themselves from the future and I plan on reading that soon-ish.

In the mid 2000s basically everyone Tim loves dies. Steph died in 2004 ish after a very short stint as Robin. Tim's mom dies, then his dad is murdered, and it's unclear what happened to his step mom, but she was in Bludhaven, which had an atomic bomb dropped on it. Impulse becomes kid flash becomes the flash becomes murdered, and superboy gets killed while saving the world. Steph does turn out to not be dead after all and Impulse and Superboy come back from the dead eventually but by God he's having a tough year BEFORE Bruce "dies".

Red Robin 2009

After Bruce "dies" and Dick becomes Batman, Dick makes Damian his Robin and nobody believes Tim that Bruce is still alive, so he steals the Red Robin costume and goes on a mission to save his dad!

Not a comic to read first because it's so uncharacteristic of Tim as a person, but definitely something to read as soon as possible, because it's ridiculously good.

After flashpoint/n52 Tim doesn't have his own ongoing for a while, but he does come out as bisexual in an early issue of Batman Urban Legends (2021) and he got his own ongoing called Tim Drake: Robin in 2022 which was ugly AF and yet cancelled far too soon. There's a Young Justice run from 2019 I haven't read yet.

Stephanie Brown

For her I would go to Google, bc I haven't gone down the rabbithole enough for her yet. I know her first appearance was in a batman comic where she became spoiler to spoil her dad's plans - her dad being a third rate villain called the cluemaster - and she almost kills him, so good for her. Afterwards she appears every once in a while in various comics, most notably in Robin, where she and Tim as Robin start dating despite him knowing her identity but not the other way around.

Robin 60s (I don't remember the exact issues)

Steph gives birth and gives her baby up for adoption

Robin 126-128

Steph becomes Robin when Tim quits for his still-alive-but-not-for-long dad.

War Games

Steph does a fucky wucky and accidentally starts a gang war which gets her killed

There's another Robin arc where she comes back and it turns out she was never dead, Leslie (the family doctor) simply faked her death and sent her to Africa to recover

Batgirl 2009

Her first and only solo ongoing, but it's really good

She also appears a lot in Cass's Batgirl ongoings, and occasionally shows up in yj98. Her most recent series in Batgirls, which isn't very good but her interactions with Cass are very gay, and we've all been shipping it for 20 years at this point, so frankly it's long overdue. Unlikely to become canon tho, unfortunately.

Cassandra Cain

She doesn't use a lot of words, so neither will I. Probably.

No Man's Land

Frankly I am terrified to read this, it's so many goddamn issues, but this is her first appearance. I have one "volume" and it's as big as the fucking Bible.

Batgirl 2000

She's the first Batgirl to get an ongoing. The one from 2008 I've been reliably told isn't very good. She's absolutely terrifying in the 2000 one, I approve.

Supposed to also be good for Duke content. I think at this point she's going by Orphan? Idk she's had a lot of names.

Somehow both his origin AND an elseworlds that doesn't count. Not required reading, but Bruce and Talia are madly in love in this.

After UTRH and before Dick was forced to become Batman Morrison reintroduced Talia's son, who in this version was a rape baby bc apparently brutalia weren't in love and Talia drugged Bruce. Fucking fine, I guess.

His character growth during his time as robin is sweet tho.

Batman in other media

Animated: I'm currently watching Batman the Animated Series for the first time and it seems to really get Bruce as a character, even if Robin will be there one episode and his existence will be a plot hole in the next. The Justice League animated series has also been fun so far. Teen Titans have gotten a number of animated adaptations all of which have pretty strong followings. There's an animated show called "Young Justice" which is a Teen Titans show and I refuse to watch it (it has a very devout following, but all that means is that the Young Justice - All Media Types tag on ao3 is just the same as Young Justice Cartoon and I have to filter heavily when looking for yj98 fics). Lego Batman is a REALLY fun film, and I think it turned into a whole franchise.

Live action TV: I have watched the first season of both Titans and Gotham, but both of those were before I was into the batfamily as a concept. My impression of Titans is overall negative and my impression of Gotham is overall positive.

Live action movies: There are so many Goddamn Batman movies. I like the Dark Knight Trilogy, but even calling it "based on" the Dark Knight comic trilogy is giving it a lil more credit than it deserves. The Batman 2022 is massively popular with the comic fandom for a reason - I'm not a big fan of it, but I did enjoy laughing at the movie so at least there's that. Batfleck sucks. I haven't seen anything else, up to and including the Joker movie. Oh, and Birds of Prey was really good, but that's not Cass.

Video games: The Arkham trilogy is well loved and I have indeed just bought it, but I haven't gotten to it because I'm currently working on Gotham Knights and uh. Okay so listen. This game is a lot of fun and I will be finishing it. But it's like. Got a massively antisemitic plot point. I can't even say I don't recommend it, I'm genuinely enjoying the game a lot. But I've never seen anybody bring this up, and it's bugging me.

ANYWAY I'm sure I've missed a LOT but this is introductory so you know I'm giving myself grace. There's characters I completely skipped and I'm sure mega fans of characters I haven't read much of will be offended that I said such and such about them but you know it's only been about a year and a half since I started reading dc comics and I'm still figuring it all out. And I probably will still be figuring it out for the next decade. To me that's actually part of the fun of it.

P.s: Your apartment is like all rooms in one, kinda like dps in the movie, except your bathroom is private, LMAO.

P.p.s: the reader is very no descriptive. Besides the fact they wear glasses!

A swirling noise fills the dark void of your open space apartment. You sit up in bed and slide your sleeping mask up on your forehead. A purple and orange hole in the abyss that is your living room. You blink the eye crusties and boogers away as you stare at it, blinking like a frog as you get used to the strange light. A red and black clad body shoots through the portal, landing on your comforter.

"WHAT THE FUCK" You shout, crawling up to your headboard. You hurry and flick on your bedside lamp to get a good look at the dead body? You don't know if the person is dead or not, but God, you didn't wanna find out. It suddenly sits up with a gasp, its head snapping towards you. It points at you.

"YOU! WHERE AM I?" The voice is masculine, so you're assuming it's a guy. I mean, you're hoping what you're assuming is right. It may be 2009, but you'd hate to misgender this stranger in your bed.

"Uh, you're in my apartment. May I ask where the fuck you came from?" You ask, leaning over and grabbing your glasses of your nightstand, slipping them on your face.

"Right, your apartment. I came from a mansion, not mine. Like a friends mansion" He explains, looking around at all your "ancient" looking belongings. "Say is it 2023?"

"Huh? 2023? No, it's 2009. Are you okay? Did you hit your head on my bed post? Like, I understand you like spawned in my apartment, but I dont think time travel is possible. doctor who" you joke, nudging your foot at him. His head whips to you.

"2009?" He asks. You nod and pull out your iPhone 3G, turning it on and showing him the date.

"Yeah. It's also 3 am. So, if you're staying, my couch pulls out into a bed. I do have to warn you, I have work at like 9 am" You tell him, getting up incase you have to pull the couch bed out. He looks over at your couch and then back at you.

"Or we could share this cozy ass bed you got yourself here." He flirts, leaning back on your bed and trying to seem seductive. You blush.

"I'll pull out the couch" you mutter, speed walking over to the couch. You bend over to grip the metal bars under the couch cushions.

"You're supposed to remove the cushions' first sugar butt" He says, standing up and walking over to you. Your face feels hot at the petname. "Its like a sleepover! All we need is movies and snacks"

"I have work, remember?" You state, picking up and throwing the couch cushions. The bed sliding out and setting itself down on the hardwood floor. He looks over at you.

"Yeah, at 9am. When did you go to bed?" He asks. You look over at him.

"Like 8pm. I was exhausted today"

"So you've had 7 hours of sleep. If we watch one movie, you'll get like 5 more hours. You'll be fine" He says, plopping his leather clad fat ass (I just had to specify that btw) on the couch bed. You think it over. You sigh.

"Fine, but we're watching catwoman. Halle Berry is gorgeous in that movie" You say, walking over to your DVD rack. You crouch down to read all the titles of movies you have. You find the movie you want and peek over your TV stand to your DVD player. You put the movie in. "Have you ever seen this movie?" You ask, walking back over to thr couch bed. Deadpool wades (HA GET IT?) over his response. The truth is he hasn't seen it in fucking forever.

"I have, but it's been a while," He answers.

"Oh yeah how long? I watched it the other day"

"About 15 years. Give or take"

"It came out 5 years ago..."

"Right right its 2009"

"Wait so you're actually from the future? Holy shit. What's life like?" You jump up and grab his shoulders.

"Technology is definitely better then what you have in this place. I'll tell ya that for free. God your phone is God awful" He jokes, smashing his hand on your face.

"Hey, that's the latest phone! I'm cool!" You shout, grabbing his wrist, trying to pull his hand off your face. He laughs. "I know we just met. But would you be able to show me what 2023 looks like?" You ask, looking into the whites of his mask.

"Uh, i don't know if it transports more then one person. But I could try." He mutters, watching the way your eyes light up.

The night ended with you falling asleep on him halfway through the movie.

Since when?” Detective Bailey asked him. “It’s not important.” Ethan said walking over to his dad and Quinn who was still sitting on the couch. “It is important if she knows the bitch sisters.” Detective Bailey told him in a stern tone obviously referring to the Carpenter sisters. “Y/N has nothing to do with what happened to Ritchie!” Ethan told him using the same tone his father just used on him. “I don’t give a fuck! If she’s close to anyone in that fucking group, she’s on the list.” Detective Bailey told him.

This is why Ethan didn’t want his dad to know about Y/N. His dad holds the biggest grudge against the sisters for the death of Ritchie aka the favorite child. No, Ethan didn’t have any bad blood with his brother so yes, he was devastated to hear about what happened. Quinn was upset too but she’s just like their dad, she wants Sam to pay for what she did. Ethan is upset too, he feels his body build up with rage when he’s around the sister’s but when Y/N is with him, that anger melts away.

“You listen to me right now boy!” Detective Bailey started as he pointed his index finger at Ethan. “I suggest if you don’t want your little girlfriend getting hurt, you better keep her away from those sisters because if she gets in the way of the job, she’s fucking dead!” Detective Bailey told him in a warning tone with a dark look in his eyes. “If anyone gets in the way of us getting our revenge on those murders that killed your brother, they are fucking dead!” he added, putting his finger down but still staring at his youngest son with darkness.

“Now sit your ass down next to your sister and listen to the plan.” Detective Bailey told him in a demanding tone. Ethan did what he was told to do. As his dad discussed the plan all Ethan could think about was how he was going to be able to keep Y/N away from the sisters. He may be able to keep her away from Sam, but he doesn’t know how he’s going to keep her away from Tara since whenever she’s with Anika, she’s with Tara, too.

As the days passed it was getting closer to the night where Detective Bailey is going to get the revenge plan started by killing a boy named Jason and his movie film geek friend who were also trying to kill Sam and Tara. Ever since Detective Bailey told Ethan about what will happen to Y/N if she doesn’t stay out of the way he’s been avoiding her. He doesn’t mean to ignore the girl he loves more than anything but the closer they get to the launch night the more he worries about her safety.

Ethan was at his apartment that he shares with Chad getting ready to meet Quinn at his dad’s apartment to go over the plan one last time. But right before he could walk out the door Y/N showed up. “Hey, I need to talk to you, now.” Y/N told him with a stern look in her eyes. He knew she just got off work since she was still in her Starbucks uniform. Ethan also knew what she needed to talk to him about, so he just nodded and let her walk inside the apartment.

“What’s going on with you?” Y/N asked him as she folded her arms over her chest. “What?” Ethan asked, playing dumb as he shut the door. “I’ve been calling and texting you and you haven’t been answering.” Y/N explained to him. “I was scared that something happened to you.” She added with worry in her tone. “I don’t deserve you.” Ethan told her looking away from her gaze. “What the hell are you talking about?” Y/N asked him with complete confusion in her tone. He just stayed silent as he continued to look down at the floor. “Ethan.” Y/N said going to put one of her hands onto his cheek, but he quickly stepped away from her.

“You need to leave.” Ethan told her still not looking at her worried face. “I’m not leaving till you tell me what the hell is going on with you.” Y/N told him. “We can’t be together anymore, okay!” Ethan said with frustration, finally looking at her. “You’re breaking up with me?” Y/N said in complete shock. “Why? Did I do something wrong?” she asked as tears started to flood her eyes. It was killing Ethan to see her crying especially since he’s the one that’s making her cry. “It’s not you, it’s me. I got way too much shit going on that I don’t want you to get in the middle of.” Ethan explained to her as he could feel tears flooding his eyes as well. “It’s also best if we stay away from each other. It’s for the best.” Ethan told her as tears made their way down his face.

He didn’t want to do this, but he thought that maybe if she stays away from him, she will be safe. Y/N just gave him a nod since she was crying so hard, she was scared that if she opened her mouth nothing, but sobs would come out. “I’m sorry.” Ethan cried out. He went to go take her hand, but she stepped away from him. She walked around him and out the door slamming it shut behind him.

Since Ethan broke up with Y/N she did what he told her to do. She hasn’t been around Ethan she hasn’t hung out with the rest of the group because she doesn’t want to run into him. When Anika asked what had happened Y/N didn’t tell her everything that was said. She just told her roommate that her and Ethan decided to break up. Also, since the breakup the only time Y/N gets out of the apartment is to go to work or class. It was like Y/N went back into the shell she was in before she even met Ethan. She went back to the girl she was when she was growing up.

It was Friday which was the start of Halloween weekend and Anika and Mindy were trying to convince Y/N to come to a costume frat party that night. “C’mon on Y/N! You really need to get out of this small ass apartment.” Mindy told her. “I get out of the apartment.” Y/N said defending herself. “Going to work and class doesn’t count!” Mindy told her in a stern tone which made Y/N roll her eyes.

“Y/N, I know that you’re still upset over your breakup with Ethan, but you shouldn’t let that stop you from going out and having some fun with your friends.” Anika told her as she sat down on the end of Y/N’s bed.

Whenever Y/N is home all she does is just lay in her bed since it’s her safe place. Plus, her sheets still smell like Ethan so, when she’s lying in bed the smell makes her feel like he is there laying next to her.

“Yeah, come with us and get with a guy that can really show you a good time.” Mindy told Y/N with a smirk, but it quickly dropped when Anika slapped her on the arm. “What?” Mindy asked, confused on why her girlfriend smacked her on the arm. Y/N just rolled her eyes again. It’s been clear since day one that Mindy isn’t a fan of her twin brother’s roommate. It made Y/N’s blood boil when Mindy criticized Ethan.

“How about we take you out to go get a costume to wear tonight and I’ll pay for it myself.” Anika told her with hope in her eyes. Y/N really didn’t want to go for many reasons. Of course, the first one was because she didn’t want to run into Ethan. The second reason was that she’s not a big party girl. But if she stays around Mindy or Anika, she won’t have to deal with meeting new people and it’s also a big house with a bunch of people so she might not have to worry about running into Ethan. And if she’s being completely honest, she really wanted to get drunk since that might take away all of the pain that has been stinging her heart. Also, she knows that Anika won’t quit at it till she gets what she wants.

“Okay, I’ll come.” Y/N said with a heavy sigh as she stood up from her bed. “Yay!” Anika said with excitement as she stood up from the bed as well.

Y/N was at the party sitting on a couch with Anika and Mindy. The costume Y/N was wearing that she didn’t pick out herself was a sexy costume of Harley Quinn. It was similar to the outfit she wore in the first Suicide Squad movie. Anika did her make up and hair to match the character. Even though Y/N told them multiple times that she didn’t want to hook up with someone they made her wear the costume since all guys get turned on by a girl wearing a Harley Quinn costume. Y/N couldn’t help but feel very uncomfortable in the costume. At least she is wearing shorts instead of what the character really wore but she still felt self-conscious since this is the most skin she has shown to people except Ethan.

Tara walked by them looking completely wasted which made Y/N jealous. She wished that’s how she was since maybe if she was drunk, she would be having a lot more fun. She wanted to get another drink, so she decided to go to the kitchen by herself since Anika and Mindy were too deep in conversation. Y/N squeezed by people and walked into the kitchen where not many people where not many people were which made her feel a little bit more relaxed.

She grabbed a red solo cup and looked at all of the bottles of liquor. She picked up a bottle of Jack Daniels Whiskey and poured some into her cup. After she put the bottle down, she drank down the whole cup which made her wince at the burning sensation in her throat. But damn that felt so damn good. Y/N went to grab the bottle again, but someone grabbed her wrist before she could touch the glass bottle. When she looked up, she saw a random guy was holding her wrist.

She couldn’t help but scoff at the guy’s costume or if even is a costume. He was wearing a New York Knicks jersey and just a pair of black jeans. She couldn’t help but feel uncomfortable under his gaze and the creepy smirk he had on his face. “Can you let go of my wrist please.” Y/N said trying to pull it away from his tight grip. “Why? You got a boyfriend?” The man asked her looking her up and down which made a shiver go down her spine. Before Y/N could answer a familiar voice answered for her.

“Yeah, I’m her boyfriend.” Ethan told him with a stern look in his eyes. “Now you heard her. Let her go.” He added in a demanding tone which scared Y/N a little bit since she’s never seen Ethan like this before. “He’s your boyfriend?” The guy asked her which earned him a nod from her. The guy let go of her wrist that was now red and sore. “I suggest you get the fuck out of here now!” Ethan told him in a warning tone with a dark look in his brown eyes. The guy actually did what Ethan told him to do but he did grumble something under his breath which was probably something about Ethan’s costume which was made out of cardboard and duct tape.

“Are you okay?” Ethan asked her with concern, wiping the dark look off his face. He went to touch her wrist, but she quickly took a step back from him. “Y/N!” Ethan said in a stern tone. “You said we should stay away from each other.” Y/N told him putting her empty cup on the counter. “Oh, so I’m just supposed to let some drunk horny asshole try and take advantage of you?” Ethan said with frustration in his tone. “You wearing a costume like that is a horny guy magnet.” He added which quickly made her blood boil. “I didn’t want to wear this stupid fucking costume! Anika and Mindy made me wear it!” Y/N told him in a snappy tone glaring at him. “Damn it, Y/N!” Ethan hissed running a hand through his brown curls losing his cardboard helmet in the house somewhere.

“You need to stop letting them make you do shit that you don’t want to do! You need to get into a friend group that doesn’t walk all over you.” He told her in a stern tone. “Oh, like you’re one to talk!” Y/N snapped with a harsh laugh. “You let everyone in the group make fun of how dorky you are, and you let Chad make you go to these dumb ass parties when he knows how shy and uncomfortable, they make you!” Y/N told him with frustration and annoyance in her tone. Ethan knew she was right but unlike her, he’s going to get his revenge for all of that shit when he kills them.

Before Ethan could say anything back, they heard yelling coming from the living room. “What the hell?” Y/N said in confusion. “Come on.” Ethan said and walked towards the yelling with her. When they got there, they saw Chad fighting with some random guy. The only one who was telling them to stop was Tara. Chad was about to punch the guy, but someone stepped in front of them. That someone was Tara’s older sister Sam.

Y/N couldn’t hear what Sam said to the guy so when she tazed him in the balls it took Y/N by surprise. “Don’t ever lay your hands on my sister!” Sam snapped as she glared down at, they guy who was rolling on the hard wood floor holding his dick. As the guy yelled at Sam, Tara yelled at her sister and then quickly ran out of the house. As the guy groaned in pain Y/N heard people whispering about how Sam is that crazy chick from Woodsboro. Y/N sadly knows what they are talking about. When Ethan saw the friend group make their way out of the house, he took Y/N’s hand and walked her out of the house.

Everyone was now at Sam and Tara’s apartment. Everyone but Sam who was pretty upset from her fight with Tara and getting drench with soda from some bitch was downstairs in the hallway but when a breaking news report came on Chad quickly got her to come inside. It was a news report about Ghostface.

The only one who noticed a guy following behind them was Quinn. Everyone had their eyes glued to the screen especially Y/N. She didn’t know how to feel. I mean she was defiantly fucking terrified since the attack happened just a couple buildings down from the apartment complex that she lives in.

When Ethan looked over at Y/N who was sitting between Mindy and Quinn he saw the fear in her eyes. He wished he could walk over there and pull her into his arms and let her cry in his chest since he knew she was holding it all in. He also wanted to get her away from Quinn since he doesn’t trust her. This is exactly why he broke up with her. He didn’t want her to get caught up in a situation where she could end up losing her life. He knows that he’s going to have to do everything he could do to protect her whether she wants him to or not.

When Tara and Sam left Y/N stood up and made her way to the bathroom. She closed the door and started to look through the drawers for make-up remover wipes. She sighed in relief when she found some. She took four wipes out and used them to wipe away all of the make-up she had on. It felt so good to wipe all of that heavy make-up off because it made her feel like herself again. She felt like she was hiding behind a mask with all of that make-up on. She threw away the wipes and put the packet back into drawer shutting it.

She pulled her hair out of pig tails. She couldn’t wait to go back to her apartment and wash this stupid pink and blue out. Another thing Anika made her do. Y/N could still feel her nerves pacing from the news report, so she closed her eyes and took a calming breath to try and calm herself done. Just when she felt calm someone banged on the door startling her.

When she opened the door, she saw it was Ethan. Before she could say anything, he pushed himself inside the small bathroom and shut the door. “Ethan, what the- “Y/N started to say but he hushed her. “They aren’t going to hurt you.” Ethan told her with a serious look in his brown eyes. “Who?” Y/N asked with confusion and a bit frightened. “The new Ghostface, I’m going to make sure that they don’t lay a fucking finger on you.” Ethan told her stepping closer to her.

Even though Y/N was concerned about Ethan’s sudden protection of her she didn’t step back the closeness since she knew that he wasn’t going to hurt her. “How do you know that for sure?” Y/N asked him in a soft tone. “Because if they want you, they are going to have to go through me first.” Ethan told her in a stern tone and pulled her into a hug.

Y/N just let him embrace her. To be honest, she was too in shock by what Ethan just told her. She can sense that he’s hiding something. That could be why he broke up with her. She’s not going to ask about it now since she knows he isn’t going to be truthful, but she is going to have that thought in the back of her head when she’s around him.

1. Lannya (Lann X Ekaterina) of course, because these two dummies live rent free in my head for more than one year now! And I didn’t finish their romance route due Capitalism issues (aka working as hell).

Although both of them have high wisdom, they play dumb for a long time, and are very aware about it. Lann for his fear of dying soon and leaving her alone and heartbroken. Katya for her current duties, and for she still blaming herself for letting beloved ones died because of her in the past.

But when the emotional threshold goes down, they are so soft with each other. And defend themselves more ferouciously than ever.

2. The Kindred, Kadyann (Kadira — @spyridonya 's creature —, Ekaterina and Lann). Three descendants of legendary people (and celestial being!) stuck together and slowly notice how much each one cares about the other. Though they came from different places, somehow there is a powerful force bonding them. Blood or spirit, it doesn’t matter: Ekaterina says for herself that she loves them on purpose.

I don't think I ever really introduced myself here so here goes!

First of all, hi! My name is Kira, but you may call me Kiki if you'd like. On AO3, I'm known as "chiquita_chequito", I'm often there just lingering and reading or writing, lol. I'm 22 years old, German with Polish roots and live in a small German town where nothing ever really happens, lol. I have many interests, like certain anime and F1 (especially that as of late) and consider myself a decent writer at least. You're free to quote and/or correct me on that though, lol.

A few random facts about me:

✨️ I'm neurodivergent! I have OCD, ADD and Autism paired with hyperesthesia and ARFID (I know, I know... I should pick a struggle, but alas).

✨️ I also happen to be queer - bisexual as well as somewhere on the aro-ace gradient plus bigender, to be exact. My pronouns are they/she, meaning I prefer "they/them" but am also okay with "she/her". Anything but "he/him" and "it/its".

✨️ My hyperfixation has been cars (as in the vehicles, not the movie) ever since I was a baby. After my first two words, "Mama" and "No", my third word was "Car" in German - the fourth was "Skodda", as per my mom's telling. Surprise surprise, I still love Škodas. 😂

✨️ I play in a sort of marching band that we call Schalmeienzug, there's no direct translation though. It's really fun! Been there for five years now and still love it. 🫶🏻

✨️ Don't ask me how or why but for whatever reason, I can get any song I want stuck in someone else's brain. It works every damn time with just about anyone and yes, I am quite shameless about it. If I have to suffer through having Spongebob music stuck in my brain, then so do you. I have spoken.

✨️ My sense of humor is... skewed at best, fucking dark at worst. That's it. I refuse to elaborate.

✨️ In my free time, I also study Finnish. Thanks, Käärijä, lmao.

✨️ And yes, I love Eurovision. As a queer European girlie, that's a must, lol.

✨️ Regarding F1, my favorite drivers of the current grid are Oscar Piastri, Daniel Ricciardo (noooo, I don't have a thing for Aussies, wdym [also RIP, I am not okay, even if he's not a driver anymore, I will always love him]), Nico Hülkenberg and Sergio "Checo" Pérez (Christian Horner, when I catch you). Of the old grid I still somewhat remember (I've been watching F1 since childhood days), my favorites used to be Sebastian Vettel, Kimi Räikkönen and the Nicobergs - aka Nico Rosberg and Nico Hülkenberg. My heart has a special place reserved for Michael Schumacher, though, and it's shaped specifically like his stature. ❤️

✨️ I swear a lot. Like, a lot. I'm not kidding. So... proceed with caution if you're sensitive to that.

✨️ My free time is mainly spent playing video games - I don't have many friends and those I do have don't always have time for me so this is what I revert back to if I don't have somewhere else to be like a performance, lol.

✨️ I drive a black Opel Corsa ecoflex from 2016 and it is my pride and joy. 🫶🏻 Already jokingly told my mom that, if she wants grandkids, she already has one. My car. 😭

✨️ Last but not least, my writing style is quite distinct in the way that I usually write melancholic, if not downright depressing stuff. I guess it's a reflection of my life thus far - again, I will not elaborate.
