Buck can't stop looking at him.

Not since the truck rounded the corner onto South Bedford, five minutes after Eddie had texted that he was ten minutes away - which was already an hour into Buck’s vigil, sitting in a dining chair he'd dragged right to the edge of the yard so he'd have a clear view all the way down the street - and Buck caught sight of the shape in the windshield that became Eddie’s face and couldn't tear his eyes away. Even when Christopher had slumped out of the truck, tired and grouchy but still holding out his arms to Buck and muttering 'hi' when Buck hugged him tight, it was to Eddie that Buck’s gaze kept drifting over the top of Chris' head. And Eddie, each time, looking back.

It makes unpacking the truck kinda difficult. Only the essentials, leaving the heavy stuff till morning, except Chris does't want to leave his gaming rig in the U-Haul overnight, and Buck almost trips lugging the computer tower through the front door because he isn't looking where he's going - because he's looking over his shoulder instead, at Eddie following close behind him.

"Careful," Eddie murmurs, steadying Buck with a hand on his elbow.

i just reread your violent delights fic (maybe it’s the ovulation talking) and oh my gosh it hits different every. single. time! i literally cannot take that fic off my mind. it’s filthy, so detailed, so perfect, and did i say filthy? you're such a talented writer i swear i felt every single sentence you amazingly described. it wouldn’t be sooo good without your talent.

I love writing for Mackenyu’s characters. There seriously isn’t enough love for them. I fully intend to work on creating and publishing fics here for Enishi, Naozumi, and I know previously someone asked me about possibly doing his character in House of the Owl. I’m incredibly touched to know there is someone so lovely (YOU) waiting to read them.

OK so the thing that made this morning kind of a shitshow. Well there's the waking up early and whatever after a night of shit sleep. But I got up and went to the kitchen... and found water on the floor!!! Coming from the water heater :/

I put in an urgent maintenance request, got ready, then left for my appointment (bc this had to happen on the ONE DAY I had somewhere to be). Came back just a bit ago & the maintenance guys are here.

They managed to catch it before it turned into massive flooding thankfully, but the water heater needs replaced. So I currently am without running water until they get that dealt with. Which HOPEFULLY won't take too long, bc I am rather sleep deprived and would like to shower and then nap. But in the meantime, I am here as they work on cleaning up the water & get the dehumidifier running.

So the funny thing about falling out of love with art to me is that I still very much want to do art. Like its my everything I hate it. And the only positive thing i do to stay in contact with it is write (writing is a form of art idc), but then i get do intothe writing i start wanting to draw and animate again and then my brain is like "WE JUST GOT OVER THEM AND YOU WANNA CALL THEM BACK UP TO HANG OUT?????"

God don't even get me started on when a movie or 3am inspires me, let's me thinking of the good old days 😩💞
