And while there is this invisible war within us there are things that we do have and we don't value until they are no longer with us. How does one ever find happiness or perhaps the better term is content with what we have and don't have? Peace of mind is a lost concept, a lost art. Peace? IS that even a thing? The only way out of this entangled mess is sorting everything out. But life as we know it ( correction: I know it) has never been so easy to give remedies. But instead, it has taken upon itself to create something for the mind to never rest. Honestly speaking, that should be a good thing because the hurdles keeps ones mind in check and the ability to jump over them is way too crucial to sustain. But if only I could do the same, jump over and sort them out. attune - ak, mmxviii _____ How happy are we? Restraining ourselves from checking the statues, pondering over deleting the people with whom we once shared classes and lunch with. Perhaps we will not be so shy to update all the wonderful things we do or will do, maybe soon. Or we are just not one of those to tell others what we are upto, how well we are, how happy we are. But isn’t validation most of us are looking for, that someone somewhere will perhaps see what we are doing and how good we are? No? Are you sure? Because why otherwise are so worried about the neighbour finding out something bizarre out of an absolutely normal thing? Because why otherwise we are so persistent on sharing every personal detail we once discussed at length why even one would do that? If there’s a term for it, enlighten me. And amid this perfectly imbalance life, jumping hoops and whatnot, how happy are we with what we don’t have? Because it’s a sacrifice, say some, while others say it’s just how it is, assuring that it’s the best they can ever do or have, all the while settling with the thought that whatever is there, it’s enough and it’s all good until we start comparing with others.
