How do you write/ refine your writing? Like I’m rereading paychecks and I feel like there’s a perfect balance between descriptions and dialogue. Also, I tried writing a little something, but it just feels so stiff and like it doesn’t flow? Like with your writing I’m able to immerse myself into it so well, and I was wondering how you did that? Are you just naturally very talented lol

Ahhh but I always write dialogue that pops up in my head first cause I really like writing dialogue jkfghjkhd and then I try to fill the gaps between dialogue with descriptions. But I don't come up with transitions between things until the very end, I think of it as blocks. Like dialogue blocks, then description blocks, and note where transitions for things should be. Honestly, I'm going through the same wall of text like 4000 times ghdfjkgdfh I don't think it's talent so much as editing too obsessively :'D

But yeah, I think compartmentalizing it helps so much. Also noting different scenes. So for chapters I'll have a very very brief outline to remember what happens, and then get more and more specific as I'm writing. I like to think of writing as if I'm writing a script for a TV/show movie too, and I've tried to make each chapter feel like you're watching an episode in a way? Iunno if this makes sense but mAYBE ITLL HELP? HSGJKFHG

i'm tackling it a bit at a time :') i do like writing for it but ahhh i miss having the time for it like i used tooooo but it makes me really happy knowing people are still excited for updates despite how long it takes ;; <3

hey im back

hey uh. was gone for a while. yeah after i finished the loona model i just kinda dropped stuff srorry. but im back now i think. thats cool. i need to figure out how to sell the model n like transfer money and stuff cos i never figured that out and finish setting up my carrd site if i want to get serious about selling stuff but uh. nah. not feeling it. ill do that later. starting another model.

here’s what ive been working on recently. i think i mentioned i wanted to make a roxanne wolf model at some point by reskinning the loona model and this is kinda that. i copied the entire loona model in hopes itll save most of the animation work i did because fuck me i am not reanimating all that. i rescaled a handful of the parts like the legs and breast segment to better fit roxanne’s proportions, and also did some more extreme stuff like fully remodeling the hair, tail, and arms to make it feel fresh. rlly proud of the hair especially. it rules.

YEAH THOSE ARE INDEPENDENT OBJECTS FOR THE HAIR. there’s abt 32 different objects whicll use the same mesh so its just one hair piece duplicated a bunch. its hopefully made in a way that it can still flow and animate like hair without moving every individual part.

also i mentioned redoing the arms which is a lot more than it sounds like. the arms have that extra 3px-wide band for the arm warmers, but thats actually a fully seperate object so that it has full-arm movement for posing n stuff! whichll rule! im hoping to make some cool gestures for her like doing a jumpscare and some other stuff. i also want to try my hand at giving her more solid eye and mouth animation cos like... expressions would be cool.

anyway. thats it for now. ill post when i get textures for her done (or if something else happens) right now the textures are just blockbench placeholders that i colored to match her parts. super excited to texture this ahhh!!!! alright bye. <3

Yeah, no doubt Charles gets his share of hate, in fact every driver does, more or less, I was just talking specifically about Carlos. I’d never fault Charles for what people do online, he’s not responsible for them. I do kinda wish ferrari would speak up and ask everyone to stop trying to create a rift between Charles and Carlos but that’s very unlikely to happen, in fact it might enrage people even more haha

It’s always, always the same type of people hating drivers, some of them even basically admit they find it fun to be mean which absolutely baffles me. To each their own I guess.

Carlos in his Mclaren era was a delight, that combination of his own decision to be more himself than he was before (like he said in some interview) and also being paired up with Lando who instantly connected with him worked really well. To me it seems like Carlos needs a much more lighthearted environment to thrive in it, and Ferrari are really far from that… like, being a Ferrari driver puts a certain label on you that you have to be more put together, since it’s a team with such history. Ferrari as a whole need to unclench, stop living off their past victories and truly move forward if they want to be the winning team again. Idk, that’s just how I see things, there’s too much focus on the past, on their legacy, and it’s hurting them more than helping

Anyway, the fact that Tifosi were totally behind Carlos from the moment the weekend started until the very end was really heartwarming ahhh I think the support from everyone was one of the factors why it all went so well for him because ngl, at times this year it seemed like he’d lost some confidence in himself. Hopefully I’m wrong or that it’s all resolved now if I’m not. If only the car was good enough to fight for wins 😭

waaah ! i hope you didnt take it any wrong way- didnt mean you specifically with the charles hate, its just something thats been a bit more conscious in my mind recently and i just wanted to let it out. but yeah, charles is the last person responsible of the hate ofc. i actually prefer ferrari saying nothing about it, i do think itll make matters worse and ultimately ferrari need to fix themselves first 😂.

but yes its usually the same type of people and sometimes its just so so embarrassing. like i get second hand embarrassment sometimes seeing some the things people post to hate on the driver, i just don’t understand how some of them can lack self awareness. ive also been blocked by some accounts on tumblr even though ive never said anything about their fav or interacted w them (infact i love their fav too) but maybe ita cause im a carlos account haha.

mclaren era was so so beautiful i miss it so dearly and i get saddened that he isnt there anymore but ultimately i do think ferrari was a good mood. even though it hurts and sucks ita good that carlos is outside of his comfort zone and that he needs to push his elbows out a little but i agree with all your points, ferrari does need to get off the highhorse theyre on (pun not intended 😂) and reflect as to why they arent performing and the type of environment they have. i do think theyre the team thats stuck in old ways, they need to innovate and think outside the box myb idk.

as for carlos this year and his confidence- i think last year really took a toll on him but hes much more confident in himself this year in terms of consistency. hes back to his old self and i think even though the car isnt performing as good hes still pushing the limits whilst being aware of when to stop. but if its the case where hes missing a bit of confidence still i really hope he finds it after monza. we all are really rooting for him. the car and where its at is a pity, but im hoping both charles and carlos just need this breather this season and in some miraculous way the car will catch up next year.

Sparkpaw will be showing confidence and being loud but the second anyone isn't approving of her or she does something "wrong" she gets small and quiet, and she ended up setting a high bar for herself by being good at hunting and fighting so I'm curious to see how that will go. Also there's nothing wrong with being guided through a crowded place to meet others Sparkpaw!!! I bet the two of them would be stuck without not knowing how to talk to others had Needlepaw not shown up. I love them, my gf is mocking me saying I'm a Sparkpaw kinnie.
