(emotional abuse tw) honestly hate myself for being the type of person who sees the good in people, bc it makes it hard to realize when they're crap. i've fallen prey to way too many emotional abusers in my life to let this keep happening. basically, what i'm saying is, thank you for being a real activist and taking the stances you do (from someone who formerly thought you were being a bully)

hey, anon! to be honest, i started doing all of this bc i was in the same sort of position. i’ve been constantly emotionally and verbally abused throughout my life from various people (father, brother, bullies at school, “friends”, my ex, etc) and i just got sick of it. the lack of TRUE justice in this world doesn’t sit right with me—especially bc 99% of the time i don’t wanna be alive to begin with AGSHDJFKFL my tag started bc i saw a fake ass post from sierra and i just SNAPPED and even though it’s been really debilitating at times and crappy emotionally, i’ve found this experience healing, in a way!!! i’ve had so many people come to me to thank me and that have told me i’ve made them felt heard and validated and??? that’s all that matters to me, at the end of the day. the long duration of all this (and even the posts from ppl like sierra and emma the other day) just proves that these people haven’t and won’t change, so if all other people get out of this is that they’re heard and don’t feel alone or that they’re warned before they get hurt, then i’m good with that. i know plenty of ppl don’t agree with my methods but... you’ve gotta be really fucking loud to be heard, sometimes.

The man - she’s even singing low omg. These lyrics are going to grow on me. THAT BRIDGE HOLY HECK. SHES RIGHT AND SHE SHOULD SAY IT.

I Think He Knows - such a cute indie inspired bop. The lack of piano and guitar during the verses is interesting. SHE KNOWS HOW MUCH HER TALKING IN CADENCE KILLS US. The not so subtle suggestiveness or her songs is killing me, I’m glad she didn’t go back.

Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince - YES. The Halsey feeling of this song. This is the closest song to Rep so far. This one isn’t going to get enough love I’m calling it now. SHE SAID DARLING AGAIN S.O.S.

Paper Rings - LOVE IT ALREADY AAHH. Avril Lavigne and Ingrid Michelson had a baby and it’s this songggg. She sings it like she’s running out of air and I love that. This is definitely going to be in my top three favorites off this album.

Cornelia Street - I love it so much. The vulnerability and how it hooks you in. That’s all.

Death by a Thousand Cuts - byE BYe ByE, the bridge has me wishing I already knew the lyrics.

London Boy - HI TAYLOR EHO WAS THAT WHAT WORDS WHY I.... DARLING AGAIN AGSHDJFKFL. This is cute but I bet this will be another underrated one because of how...specific this song is. Super cute tho and I’m so glad she’s found Joe.

Soon You’ll Get Better - I already know this one will rip me apart because I lost my mom about 10 years ago. I’m not ready. Spoiler alert: I was not. Full thoughts coming for this when I can gather them.

False God - TRUMPETS! Not my favorite.

Afterglow - love the lyrics, this one is probably going to be in my top three as well. The softness and vulnerability of these tracks is really winning me over.

It’s Nice to Have a Friend - cute, kinda has creepy undertones? Very big interlude vibes, less of a full fleshed song but still worthy of all our love.

Daylight - this is probably going to round out my top three nicely. I’m really giving with this. This feels like it could be on any Taylor album but yet we could only have arrived here through the struggles of her past 29 years. This is the perfect ending to this album. And her little speech at the end is flawless.
