In Leverage Redemption when Parker pretends to be FBI she doesn't use the agent Hagen alias anymore. Now this could have a simple explanation like the alias being blown and no longer useful. However there is an infinitely funnier option.
Agent Hagen is a legitimate FBI agent now, and therefore cannot be part of any illegal business.
I mean, look, it's been eight years and over the course of the original show agent Hagen was pretty good at her job! At some point McSweeten either found out agent Hagen wasn't really an agent and made some corrections or someone working administration found out agent Hagen wasn't getting a paycheck and fixed that problem.
I'm particularly fond of the idea that McSweeten knows that Parker, legendary thief, is agent Hagen but also figures she's helped out so much that he might as well give her a job. Maybe some sort of special investigator position where no one will question that agent Hagen never shows up at the office. Sometimes he finds out about fake FBI agents from the other leverage crews and just... adds them to Hagen's team.
(And of course, all of this applies to Hardison's FBI alias too.)

"I'm surprised you're still in one piece."
Any other day, Luke would have fired back with a sarcastic reply of his own.
Today, he simply did not have the energy.
Nor the heart.
"Keep walking if you still want to stay in one piece," he growled without bothering to lift his gaze from the flowers in front of him. The thick bitterness in his voice should have been enough to intimidate most people, but the undisguised threat that saturated his words and flavored his tone was enough to make even the bravest, cockiest folks turn tail and run for the hills.
Marius von Hagen, evidently, was the bravest, cockiest, and perhaps dumbest of them all.
"For what it's worth," Marius continued talking as he plopped down next to Luke, either ignoring the latter's threats or simply believing he was above them. "I wasn't trying to eavesdrop. I didn't even know you'd be there."
"If you were a decent man, you would have left."
Marius folded his arms over his chest and pouted in response, a sight that looked almost comical as he towered over Luke even when the two of them were sitting. "Are you saying I'm not decent?" he protested. "I'll have you know, I walked away and put my headphones on until I saw you leave. Then I went in to talk to my attorney about my business' legal matters, as is my right." He was clearly indignant about the attack on his character.
Luke simply rolled his eyes. "She's Pax's attorney, not yours. There's a difference."
"She's both."
"Pretty sure that's a conflict of interest, Mr. President."
Luke didn't expect his malicious sarcasm to be met with an amused chuckle. "Good. You're being a brat again."
The hairs on the back of Luke's neck stood up. "Who are you, of all people, calling a brat?" he snapped, finally turning to glare at Marius for the first time since he'd arrived. "You're such a spoiled, whiny piece of work that actual kids think you're bratty!"
"Are you saying I'm a role model?" Marius purred as the corners of his lips curled into a smirk. "Aww, Luke, I didn't know you thought so highly of me." Suddenly his shoulders loosened up and his eyes softened. "You were so gloomy that it was unnerving. If you're making snide remarks again, then you must be feeling a little better, right?"
Flabbergasted.
Luke was so taken aback that he could almost smell the smoke coming out of his ears as the gears in his brain turned frantically in an effort to think of a way to respond. Normally he was quick to react to just about any situation; his field work as an NSB agent required him to be able to act on the fly in life or death situations.
But in a situation like this, without that adrenaline pumping through him? Not even Raven was immune to getting flustered and floundering.
"How did you know I'd be here?" Not wanting to respond directly, Luke tried to ask as casually as he could.
He winced internally. Being indirect and evading difficult topics was what got Luke into trouble with her in the first place, wasn't it? Wasn't he only proving that despite his promises to the contrary, promises he had made just this morning in his desperation to get her to stop crying, he was already falling back on his old bad habits?
Marius didn't seem to notice or care. "I didn't," he answered bluntly. "I just thought the hydrangeas looked nice."
The hydrangeas?
Luke turned his attention back to the colorful array of flower clusters before him. He reached forward and began to gently rub some baby blue petals between his thumb and forefinger. "I guess they do."
"This time of year," Marius continued, "I find a lot of inspiration by spending time in nature." Was he still talking to Luke, or did he just enjoy hearing the sound of his own voice? "The scenery, the colors, the shapes. It's crucial for a painter to stay inspired, after all."
A half-hearted smirk crept onto Luke's lips. "Why don't you just ask your tutor Dr. Richter to host a study session in his garden?"
Marius let out a loud snort and lifted his chin defiantly. "Please. You think I trust Vyn not to stab me with a pair of garden shears the moment I turn my back to grab my books?"
That brought a genuine snicker out of Luke, and Marius couldn't help but laugh along with him. It was a brief, blissful moment, and then the two fell into silence once again.
"For what it's worth," Marius began, as he plucked a nearby petal off a purple hydrangea, "you totally should have told her earlier."
So he was planning to talk about that. Luke grimaced.
Before he could defend himself, fire back, or coordinate any sort of response at all, Marius continued speaking. "But she's not gonna hate you for it. She'll get over her anger real fast."
The confidence in his tone rubbed Luke the wrong way. "You think you know her better than I do? We grew up together," he pointed out, and he didn't care to hide the acerbic notes underlying his words.
"I never said that, guard dog," Marius huffed. "But I know a thing or two about grief." A despondent chuckle left his lips--it was a sound without an ounce of joy, but rather one that suggested 'I have to laugh, or else I will cry.' A sound of desperation.
"Would it have been better to avoid her and die far away, leaving her only with happy memories from your childhood? Would it have been better if she never got to know the person you are now? Or... would it have been better if she got to know you after being gone for so long, to reconnect with you, to see all the ways you'd changed but also the ways you'd stayed the same?" Marius pulled his knees into his chest, and he gingerly plopped the purple petal on top of them. "Ultimately it boils down to one question: Would she have grieved more if she never knew you, or if she knew you and had the chance to love you?" He cast a quick glance at Luke before rapidly averting his gaze to look back at the flowers.
For now, Luke would pretend he didn't see the tears brimming in the corner of Marius' eyes.
"I never knew my mother." Marius rested his chin on top of his knees, trapping the sole lavender petal there. "I think my father and Giann have suffered more, because they knew her. They miss someone who they loved, because they can see the spectre of her in everyday life in a way that I can't.
"But Giann has told me that he feels more sorry for me, because he wishes I had gotten the chance to know her, make memories with her, and love her. He feels my grief must be worse, because all I have are stories from others without any 'love' to call my own."
Marius paused briefly. Luke could hear the shuddering in his breath as he inhaled deeply, and he could see the way Marius' chest trembled as he slowly let that breath go.
"Maybe we're both right. Maybe we're both wrong. And until you came back from the capital and ran into her again.... You already knew you were dying. You just didn't know whether you should tell her or not."
Marius lifted his head and straightened his back to his full height.
"But she knows now, dammit, so you'd better not run away. She knows you, and she knows what you're going through, so you'd better make sure she has enough happy memories to last an eternity. Until the day she sees you again."
Marius' chest was rising and falling at a rapid pace, and he curled back in on himself once he'd said his piece.
"... because if she cries that she didn't get enough time with you, my first order of business in the afterlife will be to kill you a second time." He sighed. "Unless I hire a medium and pay enough to compensate some spirits for haunting you on that end--"
"I won't let you down."
Luke spoke at last. His voice sounded foreign to him, though, with the conviction and confidence it held. He had never felt so comfortable with his fate, but now... for the first time, he finally felt a burden lift off his shoulders.
Whether telling her or not was the right move was no longer the question. She knew, so Luke had to make the best of the situation.
"You know... you're smarter than I gave you credit for."
"Dude, you suck at compliments."
Another shared laugh, a bit lighter than the first, with a backdrop of powder blue, pale purple, and pastel pink hydrangeas blooming around them.

Poet Man
Red Fountain
Headmaster’s Conference Room
19th January, 1030
Uniformed
Agent H
Helia dropped his pencil and ran a hand through his hair. He had spent the past few minutes decoding the note he’d received with his stomach caught in an anxious twist, and now that he had unravelled the coded message from his grandfather, a numbness settled in his chest.
He got up from his seat, note in hand, and walked over to his art station where a chamomile scented candle was lit. He held the note over the small spark and watched as it burned in his hand.
Agent H
The words turned to ash and dropped onto his palette, mixing with the earth toned oil paints he had been working with for his new painting.
He hadn’t heard those words in a long time; hadn't been called that since he’d left Red Fountain two years ago.
Agent H
Helia turned that name over and over in his head trying to get used to it after two years of collecting dust in the back of his mind as he started to pull out the boards on his wooden floor. Once he cleared the wood, he found the hatch built into the ground underneath his humble cottage.
He pulled it open and came eye to eye with the seal of the Company of Light — a golden wheel with its spokes extending from a sword in the middle and curves that curled up from the bottom. He grabbed the sealed box and set it down on his work table. He pressed his forefingers down on the lock that was designed to only open to his touch and a click followed.
Helia opened the box to reveal a blue cape, a pair of gloves and a round, dim gem sitting inside the compartments. He reached for the gem and the moment he touched it, it glowed oragne and came alive, its magic rushing through his fingers.
Standing in front of his mirror, Helia stared at his reflection; at the paint smudges on his cheeks, and on his worn out linen pants; at the black cord loosely wrapped thrice around his neck. He let himself relish in the facade he built for himself over his two years of solitude. He didn’t know what this meeting with his grandfather would entail but he had a gut feeling that he might not be returning to his home on Harmony anytime soon.
Especially since Saladin had addressed the note not to his grandson Helia, but to Agent H.
Although there was something so achingly comforting about this artist persona he had fallen into, the gem in his hand was a weighted reminder that it wasn’t who he truly was. It didn’t matter if he’d felt strangely at peace over the past two years as a starving artist studying under a retired art patron. The note, the seal, and the Sphalerite gem were tangible proof that he belonged elsewhere.
Vacation’s over, Agent H. He told himself as he held the gem up to his chest. After a deep breath, he pressed the gem into the skin over his heart. The thrum of power in the gem joined the soft heartbeat, and he closed his eyes as he felt the power rush through his body. When he opened his eyes again, the transformation had already taken place.
There he stood in the navy and beige uniform, the heroes’ cape cascading down his shoulders from where it was attached to the gem that sat over his heart. It was a simple uniform, meant to be misleading to enemies. But the material of it was woven with magic crafted by the Sorcerer Saladin himself. Paired with the gems mined from the powerful core of Eraklyon, the Specialists of Red Fountain who wore this uniform were protected by its magic. It could bend blades crafted by the Great Hagen himself, withstand fire breathed by the lost dragons of Domino and protect from the cold of the Omega Dimension.
Boys had to give their blood, sweat and tears to become the men who would earn the honour to wear this uniform.
Helia had been fifteen when he wore the uniform for the first time after he was presented with the Sphalerite gem. On the day he was accepted into Red Fountain. A day he’d never forget, the day his grandfather who was never known to be emotional uttered the words, “Our boy has finally become a man.”
It’s not like he’d ever been allowed to be a boy. He had thought bitterly to himself. Not to mention that the sentiment was expressed in secrecy for no one could know they were related.
His grandfather explained the meaning behind the Sphalerite gem he had been given, but Helia had been handed far more weighted things to worry about.
Each gem awarded to the Specialists was selected carefully by the professors of Red Fountain. Each aspiring Specialist was observed keenly during their entrance tests, and Saladin would then decide which gem suited the Specialist who’d wear it.
“This is a Sphalerite Gem.” Saladin explained as he picked up the gem from the tray Codatorta held out for him. He pressed it into Helia’s chest, and the rush of energy overcame him. A feeling that he had yet to realise would one day become as familiar as taking in a breath of air.
“Specialists who wear this gem are of sharp mind and tongue. They are valuable in missions that require critical and fast thinking, where the words they speak play just as important a part as their combat skills. They are masters of the game of manipulation, of strategy; who hold the vital touch of darkness on the side of good.”
Saladin had spoken to each and every Specialist who stood at attention during the Initiation Ceremony, had handed them their gems and the role they had to play in the Squad they would later be assigned to. It may seem like a harmless few phrases but it would define who they were until the day they died; more likely on the battlefield than old age as far as statistics went.
Helia would never forget those words. He struggled to understand them at first, or why they were presented to him. Later as he looked into the rare gem he had been given and read the meaning behind the word Sphalerite, he knew exactly who everyone expected him to be. He understood that he didn’t earn the gem, but inherited it.
Treacherous.
Now that Helia knew more about Art, he was even able to understand how even the overpowering bright orange mixed with the undertones of red in the Sphalerite gem played a part in its meaning. The appearance of the gem itself was deceiving; the way the orange shined in sunlight was pure and positive while the red would boil as dark as blood in the dark.
Deceptive.
That’s who he was. The kind neighbour who left out milk for his cat didn’t know that the boy next door who thanked her with a small smile had been raised to be a lethal weapon. The Patron who took him under his wing and provided him with the resources to earn a name for himself as ‘Helia, the Artist’ didn’t know that it was simply an alias for Agent H. Saladin himself probably wouldn’t even recognise his grandson if he saw him right now, with his palms stained with red paint instead of blood.
A mission gone wrong, trust irreparably broken, and a pardon from a pissed off Council of Light had landed him in Harmony, the realm of the Arts. Forcing Helia to invent a new life for himself, one that would appease those who feared he would turn against them for their silent betrayal. Now, it was time to go back; to put an end to the deception that was Helia, the Artist.
He wondered what name he would be given this time.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Ace to Poet Man. Target approaching on your left. Over. ”
“Poet Man to Ace. Roger that. Over.”
Helia ducked and rolled over as a rogue bullet flew over his head, hitting the metal walls. He straightened once he was safely hidden by a broken column and went silent. He listened carefully for the footsteps as they approached from the other side.
Just as they reached, Helia turned out and shot them square in their chest. Neon pink paint splattering all over their black coverall.
“Hey!” A sweet voice whined from behind a face shield.
He gasped as he lowered his guard only for a split second before someone else shot him from behind.
“Hey!” He whirled around, throwing his hands out and shooting an annoyed look at the curly-haired girl that shot him.
Aisha let out a mocking laugh as she kept the gun pointed at the pair now covered in paint. “That’s what you get for cheating with earpieces and shooting my girl!”
“She’s my girlfriend and your team has been cheating with magic so we’re just levelling the playing field.” Helia shot back as he lifted his face shield.
Aisha shrugged and disappeared behind one of the obstacles, the game continuing on while Helia had been outed in a manner that was rather disappointing for one of Red Fountains top Specialists. He blamed his victim for distracting him.
As he turned around, Helia found her pouting at him with her arms crossed and her face shield resting on her head.
“You shot me.”
Helia couldn’t help but smirk, finding her irritation utterly adorable.
“That’s the game, sweetheart.”
“But, you shot me.” Flora argued back.
“I didn’t know it was you!” He tried defending himself, playing along. Flora narrowed her eyes at him, still refusing to give in.
“I’m sorry.” Helia whispered teasingly, moving closer. The tactic was already working as the annoyed look in her green eyes gave way to anticipation. He wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her to his chest as she let out a surprised gasp, the paint on her coverall now sticking to his.
“There. Is that better?” He asked, lowering his head so his lips hovered over hers.
“Aisha already shot you, it doesn’t count.” Flora murmured back, snaking her arms around his neck.
“Hmm, then tell me how I can make it up to you.”
“Don’t you already know, Poet Man…”
Helia smiled and dipped his head, capturing her lips with his. He held her tight as he kissed her, Flora going on her tiptoes to reach his height. Neither of them paid any attention to the battle going on around them as their friends shouted out and shot at each other with paint.
“Attention player three from blue team and player four from red team. Kissing your opponent is against the rules. Please put your face shields back on and leave the arena. Both of you have been shot and are out of the game.”
The announcement from the speakers forced the couple to part reluctantly. Helia pecked her cheek one last time before putting his arm around her shoulder, a sly grin on his face.
“Am I forgiven?” He whispered into her ear as he led her out of the arena. Flora giggled, her eyes glinting mischievously.
“Nope.”
“You’re breaking my heart.” Helia threw his head back, groaning playfully and making her laugh.
“Who else is going to do it?”
Ranking the other boys’ outfits in ToT Main Story 11.1 from least surprising to most surprising
Or basically, every important guy who is not Vyn. I'll put this under a read more for everyone who has not completed Main Story 11.1 yet!
4) Artem Wing // I sleep
Standard outfit. I don't even have a screenshot for this because he looked so normal
3) Jerome Adams // Blinking as I make sure I am seeing things correctly
Imagine that Jerome can be... casual?? And it's genuinely a decent outfit. It's a bit Artem-core with the black turtleneck, but the necklace leans more towards Marius' style. Also, the coat is a clever replacement for his usual lab coat and is maybe more reminiscent of Luke or Vyn. Running into him at this point in the story may be surprising, but what is even more shocking is that he has more than one outfit in his storage.
2) Luke Pearce // Widened eyes, gasping in shock
Hearing Luke hanging out undercover is one thing. SEEING his undercover outfit is another. This is definitely straight from his wardrobe because I'm pretty sure it's his skateboarding outfit! Who knew Agent Raven could still look intimidating with a headband and a funky shirt?
1) Marius von Hagen // Full on double take + hands clasped over the mouth, like "he DID NOT just do that"
Main story 11.1-01 was full of so many moments, and this was definitely one of them. For Marius to enter such a tense moment between Vyn and Matthew (at this point, we haven't been told that the gun is airsoft) -- and to enter LIKE THIS, in his BEACH OUTFIT, coming from a (FAKE) BEACH PARTY is an incredible moment. The confidence you'd need to have in order to do that. The sheer nonchalance of the whole act. The incredible juxtaposition of being in a fancy house with two fancy gentlemen and walking in with your Hawaiian shirt and swimming trunks. It's a power move. Much like Luke, Marius doesn't need to wear a suit and tie in order to deliver a carefully veiled threat.
#let me know if you agree with my rankings or would actually shuffle them around!! this was a lot of fun#tears of themis#luke pearce#artem wing#marius von hagen#jerome adams
The Bushwhack Job: Chapter Four
Chapter One Chapter Two Chapter Three
(Disclaimer: This is a relatively rough draft and subject to change when I post to AO3. I'm just overly excited and want to share what I have.)
Three bodies had been recovered from the destroyed LanCast building.
It took several hours to discover that much. Nate had insisted they leave the hotel as Eliot instructed, falling back on one of the contingency plans the two of them probably talked about when they were alone in the bar. Parker didn’t ask. She didn’t want to think about worst-case scenarios.
Once secured in a new hotel across town, Hardison had done whatever he usually did to get their information, and came up with a police report of the accident.
Three bodies. No identification. Awaiting coroner’s report.
They took the news in silence. They climbed into Lucille in silence, they drove to the morgue in silence, and they entered the cold building in silence. Hardison and Parker donned their FBI disguises, with Nate and Sophie wearing the appropriately stricken expressions of worried loved ones. It was late, but the badges got them in, and an assistant met them at the door and led them to the lab where the autopsies were being performed.
“Special Agent Thomas,” Hardison said, flashing his badge to the medical examiner. “This is Special Agent Hagen. We’re invistigating the incident at the LanCast building.”
The medical examiner, whose nametag identified her as “Dr. M. Morton”, glanced at Nate and Sophie. “We haven’t been able to identify the victims yet. Are you hoping to find someone? I can only speak with immediate family.”
“Our son,” Sophie said in an unsteady voice. “He may have been inside the building when it—when it…”
Nate put a hand on her arm, and Hardison cleared his throat to bring the doctor’s attention back to him.
“What can you tell us about the victims?”
“Not much, I’m afraid.” She gestured at the three bodies, which her assistant had hastily covered in white cloths. “The remains were badly damaged by the fire. They were all male, all aged late-twenties to mid-thirties.”
“Anything else?” Parker asked, her stomach dropping. “Height? Clothes? Anything they may have had on them?”
“These two are around 6’2”, 6’3”. This one is shorter, maybe 5’7”.” Dr. Morton indicated the body in the middle and frowned when Sophie gave a little gasp of dismay. “I’m sorry,” she said. “Does that match the description of your son?”
Sophie nodded, pale-faced and trembling.
Dr. Morton gave her a sympathetic look and lifted an evidence bag from the tray at the body’s feet. “We found this on him,” she said, holding it out to Sophie. “Do you recognize it?”
They all leaned in, and Parker felt the heat leave her body in a rush.
Eliot’s necklace.
Sophie’s knees gave out. Nate caught her as she fell, but she sank to the ground with her face in her hands, shaking. “It’s him,” she sobbed, her voice muffled. “He’s ours. It’s Eliot.”
A strange, distant buzzing sound filled Parker’s ears, and for a moment, it was all she could hear. Hardison spoke beside her, and Sophie went on crying, but the words were lost to the static hum inside her head. The doctor asked them something, and Nate stared straight through her as if she didn’t exist. He wasn’t old enough to be Eliot’s dad, but suddenly he looked it.
They can’t handle it, said a cold, detached voice in her brain. They’re falling apart. Who’s going to hold them together?
Eliot. But Eliot was gone, and Eliot couldn’t be gone, and it didn’t matter whether he was gone or not, because he wasn’t here.
Parker was.
She blinked, and all the noise slammed back into her, and her brain caught up to what Dr. Morton was saying.
“—so sorry I have to ask, but it would help if we could get a DNA sample to verify his identity.”
“Yes,” Parker said. “A DNA sample. I’ll just—this is a shock for them. I’m going to take them out and give them a moment.”
Dr. Morton nodded. “Of course. Take all the time you need.”
Parker glanced at Hardison, who was blinking at the body under the sheet, his eyes wide and wet. She put her hand on his shoulder to turn him away. “Sir,” she said to Nate. “Ma’am. Let’s go. We can talk outside.”
Nate looked at her, but there was a strange emptiness in his eyes that made her feel tiny and hopeless. “Sir,” she repeated. “Please come with me.”
“Sophie,” he murmured, breaking eye contact with Parker to crouch at Sophie’s side. “Come on, honey. Stand up.”
“I don’t want to leave him,” Sophie said, her voice thick and broken. “Please, he can’t stay here, not with these men. Please, can’t we—?”
Parker took Sophie’s elbow and pulled her gently to her feet, guiding her toward the door. Nate and Hardison followed, but Parker didn’t look back. She had to get them out.
Eliot would get them out.
She brought them to the van, and took the driver’s seat after getting them safely inside. Hardison was crying now, too, but Nate sat in absolute, unmoving silence. She drove to the hotel, parked, waited for someone to open the door.
No one did.
“We don’t know,” Hardison said after a few minutes. His face was dry, but his voice still sounded uneven. “He could have lost the necklace. It doesn’t prove anything.”
Sophie shook her head, but had to try twice before she could get her words out. “He would have called. He would have found us if he wasn’t…”
Dead. The word slammed itself against the inside of Parker’s skull, over and over again like a security alarm she hadn’t accounted for.
Dead, dead, dead.
Adapt to the situation, the voice in her head said. First things first. Take care of your team.
She opened her door. Hardison followed her, helping Sophie from the back, but Nate stayed where we was in the passenger seat. Parker moved around the van to open his door, but he didn’t look at her.
“Go inside,” she said, her voice low and steady. “We’re not done.”
“It doesn’t matter,” he said.
“Lancaster knew about us,” she said. “He set a trap for Eliot and me. We have to finish this, or he’ll keep coming after us. After Hardison and Sophie.”
He looked up then, his eyes still hollow, his hands loose in his lap.
“This is what Eliot would do,” Parker said.
Nate lifted one hand and set it over his face. He took a breath, two, and exhaled so heavily that his shoulders shook.
“What would Eliot say if it was one of us?” he asked.
Parker shook her head. “It wouldn’t have been anyone else.”
“What does it say about me that I couldn’t stop this?” Nate asked, and Parker heard the unspoken again in the way his voice hitched at the end.
“I don’t know,” Parker whispered. “But we need you. Lancaster is going to try again, and we need you.”
Nate nodded, dropping his hand once more. He stood unsteadily and followed the others across the parking lot toward the door.
Parker watched them go, slipping her hand into her pocket to remove the evidence bag she’d taken when Dr. Morton's back was turned. She opened it, picked out the necklace, and clasped it around her neck, tucking the cold metal charm under her shirt so it laid flat against her skin.
Then she followed what was left of her team inside the hotel.
Batman: The Animated Series - Paper Cut-Out Portraits and Profiles
Stella Bates
Doctor Stella Bates worked as a medical consultant on Dark Interlude, a romantic film starring the acclaimed actor, Matt Hagen. Bates was infatuated with Hagan and when she later learned how Hagan had been transformed into Clayface, Bates dedicated herself to finding a cure.
At the time, Hagan was having an increasingly more difficult time maintaining his physical consistency. Keeping a humanoid form was requiring great concentration and he was slowly losing the capacity to maintain physical integrity. Bates utilized a specialized bonding agent that encapsulated Hagen in a human-shaped plastic coating that kept his body from melting away. This worked in the short term but only lasted a while before the shell began to break down.
Hagan could see that Bates was in love with him and he appreciated that she was his one hope of staying alive. Although he became quite angry when he found Bates watching his old movies on television. Perhaps he felt that she only loved her idealized notion of who he was and could not fully accept what it was that he had become.
Dr. Bates became convinced that the experimental isotope known as MP-40 could stabilize Hagan’s form and enable him to maintain a human physical appearance whist still possessing his shapeshifting powers. Clayface ransacked a Wayne Industries facility to steal the special isotope. This enabled Batman to follow Clayface back to Bates’ laboratory.
Bates’ treatment with the isotope might have proven effective, but the process was interrupted when Batman appeared and an enraged Clayface attacked him. Their battled spilled out into the open where the driving rain weakened Claface’s form. The villain ended up falling off a cliff into the ocean. He appeared to perish as the seawater seemed to completely dilute and dissipate his form. What ultimately became of the heartbroken Dr. Bates remains unknown.
Actress Pat Musick provided the voice for Stella Bates with the character appearing in the sixty-third episode of the first season of Batman: The Animated Series, ‘Mudslide.’
So now that we have a confirmed White Collar reboot… and we currently have Leverage Redemption…. We need an official crossover!! And I can already see how it’s going to go:
Naturally, notorious art thief Neal Caffrey and THE Parker have, of course, crossed paths before, at least once. So, when the leverage crew needs to send Parker into the FBI offices as Special Agent Hagen for the job for their latest client, and she runs into Neal…. Oh boy! Chaos ensues!
Will Neal keep quiet about recognizing Parker? Will Neal be able to resist getting involved in the delicious con that Leverage is conducting? Will he and the leverage team work together to help their client and/or solve the case Neal is working on with Peter? Or will Parker and Hardison both end up needing to retire their FBI aliases for good because Peter is just that damn observant and good of an FBI agent?
Ohhhh it would be amazing if they explored this concept!! And if the writers of either show don’t… I might just have to do it myself!
#leverage#leverage redemption#white collar#parker#parker leverage#neal caffrey#listen….#I will be the change I wish to see in the world if I must#I’ve been reading leverage white collar crossovers since 2016#I’d love if I could actually see it on screen!!!
crossposting this from my twitter thread, but here is a mariluke au ramble i told z @lukevonhagen about forever ago:
au where luke and marius meet because they have to share a cabin up in some remote forest
marius is there because hes on his "getting lost" thing again but hes shaking it up this time, trying the mountains instead of the ocean (see, SSR Tideborne Romance) to get away from it all. and the cottage is up for rent for a whole season, it's got the needed electricity and water but no signal and the forest is great, marius thinks he can make some nice paintings while hes up here too.
but something went wrong w the booking and he gets there and luke is Also there. uve heard of There Was Only One Bed, now get ready for There Was Only One Cabin.
ANYWAY luke tells marius that hes a wildlife photographer here photographing birds and he promises to stay out of marius' way but hes staying in the cottage no matter how much marius wants him gone (at first). and marius thinks luke seems a bit too determined about staying here Right Now for it to just be for...birds photos? but marius doesnt know enough abt birds so he cant exactly call luke's bluff about it yet. he cant even paxgoogle it, the pax satellite cant reach here.
so they cohabit and slowly fall in love and also luke was LYING hes not a wildlife photographer, he DOES like birds and DOES like photography but th real reason hes in the cabin for this period of time is cuz hes still NSB and a mission went wrong so luke needed to go into hiding. luke nearly had a heartattack when he got to this supposed safehouse and saw marius von hagen one of the most known people on the PLANET already there. anyway thats the gist. theyre gay in the forest. luke chops up firewood for them and marius watches him from the cabin gayly
luke insists that marius take the bed (there is only one, of course), luke says hes fine on a sleeping bag in the floor, but marius is a fantastic negotiator and he'll get them bedsharing (innocently!!) soon enough
oh also for added drama, the people hunting luke down find the cabin but luke is out fishing and so they just find marius there, and luke comes back and sees them holding marius hostage and threatening him and luke annihilates them all
marius, staring at knocked out bad guys around them: YOU. ARE NOT A WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHER luke: sorry D:
anyway this whole au is because i wanted a romance movie mood that suddenly crashes into the action genre. marius is not scared of luke at all, in fact this makes him more attractive to him. and luke is just so sorry for lying he just didnt know what to DO
before the action hits though theyre very soft. it's peaceful up there in the mountains. there are mornings where luke will be out in the clearing in front of the cabin, just enjoying the sun, and marius sketches him like that, surrounded by light. luke's camera is filled 75% with actual bird photography but the rest is candid photos of marius, especially when hes focused on sketching or painting. luke finds himself allured by the artist just as much as his art.
they totally kiss while theyre up there. probably after the whole hostage situation and luke is trying to get marius to go back home for his own safety and marius says nuh uh, youre stuck with me! and luke pleads to him because he doesnt want him to get hurt and then in the heat of the moment, spurred by desperate emotion and pent up pining they—
well. you know :)
agent raven is not supposed to have a weakness. he was supposed to be alone in this cabin for months until the aftermath of his mission blew over. but in these past few months, one man had found his way into luke's heart and become a weakness like no other.
fast forward when marius and luke are back in stellis and everything is safe and theyre going about their lives like normal. but marius drops by luke's antique shop. "after how you saved my life up there, i figured it should be me to ask you out on a proper date"
luke, laughing: what, months together alone in the woods didnt count as a date? marius: course it didnt, that was out of either of our hands! plus, there were way too many mosquitos. luke: mosquitos are what make it not count?? marius: obviously. so, is that a yes, agent? will you go out with me? as if marius even needs to ask
the end <3
i love the leverage running gag of parker only having one name. official government files on the worlds greatest thief just list her as "parker". she has trouble collecting her tickets for sophie’s show in season 2 because they ask for a first name and you can hear her saying "no, just one name" in the background. her fbi alias being agent hagen, only one name, meanwhile hardison’s alias is agent alan thomas because he does have a first & last name. never stating whether it’s the name she was born with or not, whether it’s a first or last or middle name. nope. she’s just parker!
