imagining a hermit learning / getting comfortable w regression on Hermitcraft. okay gonna use solar waltz Grian here . As example hear me out.

So he’s getting more comfy w his regression! And what’s a builder to do? Make himself a safe corner of course !! So Grian makes all these plans. Designs himself an entire room or small base for him to be small in.

He starts working on it and doesn’t get very far before he regresses. Imagine someone coming to check up on him. Mumbo asks how’s the new project going? and comes in to an empty room and grian’s lost in a trance over toys he brought in to decorate with. Bonus points it’s like not even proper toys. He’s playing with a kid core patterned curtain.

Do you guys ever regress better/more deeply when you watch the scary stuff you did when you were like 8? Because I've tried liking Bluey but it just doesn't help as much as Markiplier playing FNAF or Tattletail and I feel bad for the fact that my small space isn't super aesthetic media-wise. these are super, super informal and unorganized thoughts but god these panels are haunting me so:

it’s interesting to finally be reading some of the issues that i assume influence general fanon perception of damian because there’s so much emphasis on the actions against tim (and like yeah fair, fucked up let’s not move past that) but also there’s little moments sprinkled throughout that made me go “…this is a child. This is a whole child.”

like idk man! These two pieces of dialogue are very striking to me! “See? I can be useful!” And “Look at me, Mother!”. Maybe it’s just because I work with kids but i read this and very clearly hear a child’s voice! And sometimes i think because a lot of people get caught up in the “formal” way that damian speaks that people forget he’s a kid. A very competent, highly trained kid. But he’s a kid.

Again, i don’t think Damian’s actions can be brushed off just because he’s a kid, and (within the content of the Morrison run), has had some fucked up shit going on. But like - for fanon, I’m just begging folks to strike the balance between talking about Damian being held accountable for his actions and also understanding that in this point in time he’s like maybe nine or ten-years-old. Idk! I’m tired of reading analysis and fan fiction that absolutely crucifies Damian and doesn’t try to find the nuance at all.

so turns out everyone's room gets upgraded after you play their personal quests in act 2 LMAO. not just davrins. some of these rooms looking a little less dire than they did before but for the most part the beds still all suck. though im upping harding's score to a 6 bc she adds a lot of pillows and cushions to her blanketfort.

Oooo okok so Lucille was originally supposed to be in her 40s but honestly I think I’ve just made her look a little too old lol (I’m just too much of an older woman enjoyer, I fear💔) so I’ve decided she’s maybe late 40s to 50s. She’s old and miserable all the time and just generally looks like she’s seen and lived through some wild stuff tbh

Her eyes are also supposed to really have like nothing behind them— its supposed to be terrifying when you look into her eyes because you can see nothing there; girlie is soulless, cold, and evil and it just adds to her generally more weathered-ish appearance.

in honor of tornado season upon us … thinking about age regressor hermits grouping up on days the server has bad weather (yes I know this isn’t how mc works LOL). everyone grouping up in one room while the rain goes on outside … cozy vibes w warm comforters as the ones who have anxiety during storms get cuddles, others maybe trying to play in the puddles before getting dried off w a fluffy towel, playing board games and watching movies … everyone together having fun, even while some of them worry about the rain and what it may wash away. cozy ….

today is a lazy day and im lying here just thinking of ftm walter... me turning him over and over in my brain like a rotisserie chicken... grows up into one of the sexiest dilfs on rubicon with a classy beard and two prosthetic limbs and top surgery scars and a deep gravelly voice...

though it is fun to think about walter and his various complex traumas and the fact that he's so incredibly comfortable in his own identity as a man. my brain is like an overcooked noodle tonight so words hard but this man has 99 problems and his gender identity ain't one of them. guy had that shit figured out by the time he was like. ten.
