Sometimes see ppl mixing up terms 🫡

Since we’re on the topic, specifically what I do have a problem with:

- Don’t use my art for AI training or for NFTs

- Don’t profit off my art (no merch is allowed without my approval, if you want to use my art for commercial purposes, this must be discussed with me in advance)

- Don't pass off my work as your own (here does reposting my art without credit, creating blogs/accounts impersonating me and so on)

- Don’t use my personal projects (this applies to my ocs, any original IPs/content I create: picture books, comics, artbooks, megadrawings etc. At some point in the future I may register a legal copyright for them btw.)

I’m more flexible and forgiving with fandom art, but still would appreciate ppl communicating with me. Fandom comic dubs - are welcomed, just be sure to credit me (tag me and share the final dub too man, I’m always interested). Fandom comic translations - ask permission first please.

This list is a pretty standard for any artist really, if you’re doubting something - feel free to ask 👍

I considered creating “blog rules” or “list of boundaries”, but I’m not sure if it’ll work on my blog 🤔 My header is pretty oversaturated as it is - portfolio, tags, navigation and so on; if I add rules to the pile, something tells me ppl won’t even look at it 💥 + I didn’t have specific issues with anyone yet (as far as I’m aware), I might create a list if something happens, but stayin hopeful for now

There’s certain things that do make me very uncomfortable/are triggering to me. But again didn’t have any specific issues where it was a huge problem + those stuff are highly personal to me to just put publicly. For now, I prefer to resolve issues personally, there wasn’t anything I couldn’t handle at this point 🫡 Mayhaps in the future it may change, we’ll see

Also some might have noticed that I don’t use any watermarks/signatures on my art, again considered that, but never ended up implementing that 🐻‍❄️ Some part of me just likes lookin at pictures in full HD quality with no watermark 😭 (I have an art signature, but I mostly use it in my mega drawings or if someone specifically asked for a commission lmao)

But that's generally a lesser chance than just dying on the Calling eventually. Kyr does say cremation. She's Tevinter, and she's an evoker. She's had plenty of fire around since she was a child. Having fire sweep around her to carry her away after she's gone...it feels right.

Hi there! I want to start by saying I absolutely love everything you've written (especially your yangvik fics) and really admire you as a writer!!

With that, I have a small question for you: how do you successfully promote your fics on Tumblr and/or get people to read them? I've been getting more into writing fanfiction recently but I'm struggling to promote it / get ppl to read it and I was wondering if you have any advice!

If not that's totally fine I just thought I'd ask because you seem to be a very accomplished writer

okay, first off, let me say how legitimately touched i am to receive this ask. truly, it means so much that someone would say this to me about my writing! i'm really glad you enjoy reading my things 💗

now, as for promoting my fics on tumblr? if i'm being honest, i really don't know how my fics gained the popularity they did. i've been writing on tumblr for quite a bit, probably 4 or 5 years now, and i've only started to gain any sort of "popularity" this last year or so

i think if there was one single piece of advice i could give, it's this: make friends on tumblr. whatever fandom you're in, start following people in that fandom, and more importantly, INTERACT with them. comment on their posts, reblog things they create, and if they write, read their writing and leave comments! don't just follow the "popular" or "big" people in the fandom either, if someone is posting for your fandom give them a follow and start interacting!

i can't guarantee this will increase your readership. but i will say that participating in fandom, especially as a creator, is a million times more fun with online friends. and by making these online friends, you definitely increase your likelihood for more interaction of your own!

fandom is very cyclical in nature. when you start interacting with someone, it will make them want to interact with you in turn. this is how you make mutuals. and when you have mutuals, you have people you can count on a bit for interaction. and this interaction helps spread your work around! even if the only people who reblog something you wrote are your mutuals, that means your writing is ending up on who knows how many peoples' dashboards!

again, some of it is kinda just luck. the times that my works have gotten very popular is when i found a little niche that needed some writing - mainly a long, explicit fic for a ship tag that had neither long nor explicit fics whatsoever lol. if you have a niche you can fill, i say go for it! but that really depends on your scope of interest for the most part

the best thing you can do, i feel, is to create the fandom circle you want to see. post things fandom-related outside of your writing. interact with others in the fandom. these things will help to drum up a following based on your fandom posting, and therefore attract more potential readers

and last but not least, my final bit of advice is this: don't stop writing. i know how disheartening it is to not receive the feedback you crave on something you worked hard on. it really, truly, sucks. and it can feel hard to be motivated to keep going without that interaction. but if nothing else, keep trying. i've been posting fanfiction since i was about 11 years old. i'm now 20, and again, my stuff has only gotten "big" over the last couple of years (though what everyone considers "big" fandom-wise is quite subjective). someone out there someday is going to love your work, i promise 💗

Uh sure let me think:

The trains and buses are pretty consistent. It's $2.50 per swipe but transfers are free. When I was in college they gave us student discount passes. There are applications for free/reduced-fare passes.

Not every station has elevator access, so you might want to look into that ahead of time if you need any accommodations. Between the three stations near me only one is wheelchair friendly.

It's expensive everywhere now. Try to find a place with the best deal per square footage. I have a way more affordable large studio that's the same size as my prev small 1BR apartment. Speaking from experience: a lot of 'remodeled' places just have new appliances and the same ancient walls with insane bug colonies, so be careful. 😭

Neighborhoods with a nearby campus (DePaul in Lincoln Park, Loyola in Edgewater, U of I in West Loop) are typically really safe & have guides available. If you can afford it and don't mind being around students nonstop, I recommend those areas for first apartment hunting.

Our main subway lines are the Red Line & Blue Line. They have completely different energies. Idk how else to describe it. If you visit, please ride both to get an idea of which you prefer to deal with on a regular basis.

Hi everyone! I'm here to say I'm actually gonna be closing up F/ovember on my blog today. It's been a very fun month and I've been really happy to see how many people were running the event casually on their blog, I would honestly consider this F/ovember a success! I hope everyone had fun (or is still having fun) with the event, cuz I'd love for us to do it again next year!

As a side note, the reason I'm closing early is because I just couldn't wait for what I want to do this winter- I'm gonna be closing the inbox to do a bit of winter cleaning! I'm just gonna be trying to empty both my drafts and my inbox as quickly as I can, so I'll be boosting up the queue to post 5 a day. 1: Music.🫶🫶 very calming and grounding when I’m freaking out or in a bad mood or just good for daydreaming and passing time :).

2:Webtoon(SBG,Homesick, mostly sbg) I love hyper-fixating over characters, especially Ashlyn but they’re all so great and I enjoy the updates and reading it over and over! 💪.

3: Video games(BG3, Genshin Impact, Coffee Talk, Cult of The Lamb) It’s how I pass hours of time when I don’t know what to do all day and lack routine, the daily rewards for genshin are a nice routine to keep me sane <3 and games are once again fun for OC’s and hyper fixating!

4:Walks! Preferably with music lol but it’s nice to get some fresh air even if I don’t like leaving my house, much less my room lol. I don’t like seeing my friends a lot, even though I’m seen as talkative and social at school, so walks alone or with my sister to daydream and clear my head are nice.

5:Squishmallows or other plushies like the cats from plushshop <3 plushies in general make me happy and my room is stuffed with them, in my bed, in nets on my wall, in random places because they shouldn’t be and so on. I love collecting things and have a ton of other things I hoard in my room, which is a whole different rant or topic but plushies 100% make me happy with cute aggression or when I need to cry <3!! I can’t tell you the number of times over the years I’ve made posts about not liking Edelgard/analyzing the text in ways her fans don’t like/etc and got swarmed by her stans arguing in bad faith at best and telling me to kms or threatening me at worst. Over video game discourse.

Meanwhile all I’ve seen you do is personally complain on your own blog about takes you see that you disagree with? And when you bring people up it’s always because they were doing some wack shit like sharing screenshots with uncensored usernames or block evading? Again I just don’t know what reality these people live in but it’s so fucking annoying and the reason why I stay on anon lol.
