What I really want is Afrovision and Chinavision, aka international song contests for African countries (USA can be like Australia in ESC and participate as long as they send someone Black) and for Chinese provinces.

Why eurovision? Why not afrovision? Or Asianvision? Or arabvision? 🙄
mama sc is a wonderful anti-war song which should win the whole eurovision! it is very genuine and wholesome, unlike the czech entry which is fake feminist and one of the members is russian! the band, consisting of men only, are all wearing gender non-conforming clothing! the criticisms of the song are obviously pro-russia, sexphobic and anti-gnc!

Franck Biyong - The Afrovision Secret - Manu Dibango tribute, recorded live in Nairobi
“When The Alliance Française said it would be MANU DIBANGO tribute, they were not kidding. This is exactly what Franck Biyong and Orchestre Lipombe Jazz pulled off in 2 whole hours. You didn't even have to dance. Just stand and bask in this African magic. Or watch a melanin couple tear up the dance floor as if the music was made for them. The Cameroonian played that electric guitar like a rock legend. And he let the rest of his very talented band stretch out and shine too. Every musician deserved to be there last night…Just to be inspired by this new level of musicianship. Franck truly embodied his mentor and elder, even more so now that the timeless African Music Icon is no longer with us. We should really celebrate people when they're here… Franck regularly paid tribute to MANU’s genius over the years (“Jazz & Africa” in 2011, “KI I Ye Yi” in 2012 and “Afro Bikutsi Live” in 2017), and while the past keeps speaking to the present, this new endeavor takes it one step further.”
MUSICIANS Drums - Gabriel Oladayo (NG) Congas & Djembe - William Rama (KE) Talking Drums & Cowbells - Adewale Ajose (NG) Keyboards, Beats & Loops - Andy Bolo & Braines (KE) Shakers & Percussion - Daniel Mburu Muhini (KE) Bass - Asaph Uzele (D.R.C) Keyboards - Moses Muthungu (KE) Alto & Soprano Sax - Brian Mugenyi (UG) Guitar - FB ‘Basogol ba bok bisu Ba mbem bes ni dingoma’

Project Embrace is putting that right with #Afrovisibility – an outdoor campaign featuring powerful images of black women wearing their afro hair in natural, unapologetic styles - which launches later this week.
The series of posters by Quiet Storm features a diverse group of real women, all cast through an open audition.
A teacher, a finance manager, a writer, a receptionist, a student and an HR partner all happily celebrate their afros and declare they are “Proud to be me”.
On the rare occasions a black woman is featured in an ad, she usually has her afro hair covered by wigs and weaves that disguise its true texture. This campaign is designed to redefine perceptions of black hair by presenting diverse images of beauty that will inspire black girls and women to feel confident about their natural looks.
Lekia Lée, founder of Project Embrace, said: “When you feel empowered, you can achieve anything. This is how we want black women and girls – and anyone else with curly hair – to feel after seeing our billboards. We want to inspire them to feel confident in the skin they are in and the hair that that they wear.”
