I've said it before and I will say it again. Paul Kagame is the Roundworld version of Lord Vetinari, and I am here for it. ALL DAY.
ALL of Africa needs benevolent dictators.
Like capitalism, like patriarchy, like organized religion, like anti-Blackness, like English, like misogyny, democracy came to us on a boat or via the Isthmus of Suez. It is not ours and CLEARLY we don't know what to do with it.

Having said all that, it must also be said that given Rwanda's relationship with France, we are not entirely sure of Kagame's benevolence where Africa is concerned, and given that Rwanda just held elections (which Kagame won), we are not entirely sure of his dictator status.
Still, he did win by 99%. Unusual? Very. Giving dictator vibes? Immediately yes. Honestly, like I said, except for the whole France thing, I don't hate it.

Could He Be The Worst ANCYL President?
The current president of the ANCYL, Collen Malatji could land himself the worst president the league has ever had title. If he continues to float on the wave of arrogance that has him singing outdated tunes, the youth have no interest in giving a listen.La Nkosi His lack of relatability is detrimental to his ability to effectively lead and represent the concerns of the youth. This is due to his…

ANALYSIS ON MALIAN CRISIS Mali is bedeviled by crisis, many Malians are on the streets protesting and demanding for political change in their country. Mali currently faces myriads of challenges like jihadist violence, corruption and economic challenges. They demanded for the resignation of their President who failed in charting a new course for the nation of Mali despite making mouth watering promises just like most African politicians. Few weeks after the Malian President was removed from political office by the military. It will be pertinent to note that I highlighted that if we do a comparative analysis of the state of affairs in Nigeria we will realize that what happened in Mali is not different from what is happening in Nigeria. The Nigeria government should as a matter of urgency address the problems plaguing Nigeria lest we become like Mali where the military had to effect a change in the government. #Mali #Nigeria #Protest #Demonstration #Corruption #Terror #Terrorism #Coup #Military #Soldiers #Jihad #EconomicFailure #AfricanPolitics #AU #ECOWAS #Africa #Politics #EndSars #EndPoliceBrutality #SARSMUSTEND #LekkiMassacre #LekkiKillings https://www.instagram.com/p/CHXMSJzgxjC/?igshid=xd5w44zner97

ISIS in Africa
Islamic State claim they are responsible for a recent attack in the Democratic Republic of Congo, demonstrating the sickening reach this organisation may have on the African continent.
It’s difficult to deny that this is almost a direct consequence of the foolish “intervention” into Libya, which had two catastrophic consequences. Firstly, the disastrous mass migration into Europe, which no country can afford, let alone maintain. Secondly, the disastrous mass migration of ISIS onto the African continent, where they have joined with pre-existing Islamist organisations.
If you check a map of the DRC, you will see how deep ISIS may be inside Africa, given access thanks to Libya, Egypt, and other North African nations.
Once again, this demonstrates the importance of securing borders. Islamist terror organisations have bled throughout several African nations, mingling among nomads, travellers, refugees, and migrants. Nigeria, Chad, Niger, Central African Republic have all been affected by this complete lack of proper security. On the eastern side, Sudan, Somalia, and Kenya are already in the grip of Islamist despotism.
If the President of the DRC does not respond with sufficient military force, then millions of lives will be at risk and the resultant effect on other nations, mainly through unsustainable mass migration, will be incalculable.
