I was thinking about what costume I would draw for Fionna this Halloween and somehow I ended up landing on Gothic Princess Peach, it's gotta be one of the greatest things I've ever found so here she is

This cosplay was so so close to never seeing the light of day, as this was the aforementioned project I rage quit to procrastinate with Nekomancer on haha. I really adored the fionna and cake special (and adventure time in general) and wanted to cosplay from it for eons...although I will admit this project was intended to be "generic blue and silver winter regal outfit for a variety of characters" and it was a toss up on whether or not the first run was going to go to the Winter King/Simon or Jack Frost...but I couldn't find my jack frost wig so here we are!

This was my first time working a lot with velvet and low key....I loved it and would love to use it more.

was looking through some of a friend's old textiles homework and got rly into all the sleeve concepts she drew ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ decided to make an insert for From Dec to Sept real fast

Fern's eyes are drawn to the left as Finn shuffles past the castle walls, new shoes yet to be broken in, shiny and uncomfortable. “Nice hair.”

“Oh, shut up you obnoxious weed.” Finn glares as his other snorts, covering her face with a wide palm and pushing her facetious smile away. “Nice… you actually just– look really pretty, I can’t- I can’t make fun of you.”

“Whawuzzat?” Fern’s hand comes up to cup behind her ear mockingly, wide bell sleeve slipping down her wrist.

“I said you look nice!” Finn steams, connecting his heels and flustering at the ground. “Your hair is all,” he motions vaguely, “and the dress is- flattering. I never get to see you in real clothes these days.”

“Well thank you,” she sniffs with a high tip of her chin and smooths out the ribbons and medals pinned on his chest. “You look very important.” Fern hooks a coquettish finger into the cummerbund around his middle.

“I am very important, m’lady’s escort is a diplomatic envoy!” Finn proclaims matter-of-fact and puffs his chest out proudly, nose aimed at the sky.

“Yeah alright, your arms are gonna bust through your suit if you don’t stop flexing for me, sir envoy.” Fern fleers as he relaxes, posture dropping.
