To shape a better society, Education plays a remedial and significant role in balancing the socioeconomic elements of the country. It determines the quality of an individual’s life, improves skills and knowledge, and develops personality and attitude. Education is the strongest instrument for reducing poverty and improving lifestyles. It alters employment chances and shows the importance of hard work that helps children to become better citizens.
The education system in India has made substantial progress in recent years to ensure that learning opportunities are available to all segments of society. It has evolved tremendously over the years and has changed from a traditional learning system to a more modern and innovative one. The modern education system is supported by one formula- “Cheap, Required, and Customary Education to all.” This blog post briefly overviews Indian Education System and its key points.
Students of digital education become comfortable with accessing and finding content online. To strengthen a student’s learning experience and encompass a wide spectrum of tools and practices- “study24hr.com” enables students to find solutions to their problems. It helps learners build the skills to navigate technology and get the best out of it.
Education System in India
Indian education is one of the largest education systems in the world that brings out the capabilities to fight injustice in society. The learning and teaching process holds great significance in the Indian education system. The teachings of a sound education platform improve students’ lives in every way. It makes an individual self-reliant, helps to conquer social evils, and contributes towards the evolution of the society and nation as a whole.
The school system in India is divided into four levels: pre-primary, primary, elementary, and secondary Education, followed by higher studies. It focuses on being learning-centric rather than exam-centric. Children can learn by interacting with knowledgeable and experienced teachers in various fields as they have taken to libraries, seminars, national museums, vocational trips, etc.
Features of the Indian Education System
The education system in India compels students to develop independent and original ideas by focusing on the following key points.
Affordable Fees Structure
The fee structure of education in India is quite affordable. Government schools and educational institutions are economical and provide good quality education. Due to this reason, every parent can send their child to school and fulfill their dream giving their kids the best Education and a secure future. Furthermore, the government of India has introduced various measures to extend the education level and prioritize online education to minimize learning losses.
Online learning platforms are the growing face of the education system in India. With digital learning, children can access online classes anywhere, at any time. The innovative eLearning portals enhance students’’ cognitive levels and help students create and communicate new ideas. It is a new way of learning from the instructors that makes students smart.
Mandatory Education
Compulsory education is the major key feature of the education system in India that provides education to students up to the 10th standard. The Constitution Act 2002 implies compulsory and free education of all children aged six to fourteen as a Fundamental Right. By getting secondary education, children get a chance to learn the basic etiquette of right and wrong and develop literary skills. As a result, the Indian education system gives students equal opportunities to shine better in the future.

Advanced Teaching Methods
The learning platform of India is headed towards Outcome-Based Education(OBE). The emergence of blended reading, learning, online classes, and experiential training has changed how students interact with educational content. Teachers are now discouraging children from the rote-learning method suggesting new and improved ways to impart Education.
Advancement in teaching methods integrates new teaching strategies and methods that improve education quality and children’s involvement in the educational process. Collaborative Learning, Flapped Classrooms, Self Learning, and Video Animations are various types of modern teaching methods. With these advanced technologies, students can retain new information facilitating active learning.
Make Dreams Come True
The Indian education system breeds forward-thinking, willingness to learn, and eager children ready to step into the real world and make their professional dreams come true. It has evolved to a great extent from the Vedic days to eLearning.
The latest technology has made it possible to provide online classes so that students complete their education on time. From digital courses to professional courses, everything can be done virtually. Students can get a piece of full-fledged information before opting for their desired course. They can easily make the best choice with the availability of various online courses that help in pursuing their targeted goals.
Since students can decide by their conscience what means of Education will suit them, “study24hr.com” brought thousands of instructors and verified courses that provide quality learning opportunities to prepare children with knowledge and skills. The portal’s mission is to empower every Indian student to achieve their full potential.
Allows Self-Dependency
Self-dependency is important as it is one of the main aspects of Human Personality Development. It makes students strong-willed and determined. The education system in India believes in making children self-dependent and self-reliant. It makes it easier for learners to find the necessary information and resources.
Schools and educational institutions now tend to focus more on acquiring skills in technology, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving. The modern educational curriculum compromises comprehensive learning and doesn’t just limit itself to core subjects. When children learn something out of their course, they get exposure to a particular topic that enhances self-dependency.
The Bottom Line
Education is every child’s right that entails the right to learn. Without quality education, kids and youngsters face considerable barriers to employment and earning potential in their future. They are more likely to suffer unfavorable health outcomes and less likely to participate in decisions that affect them in shaping a better future. Therefore, education is the only thing that helps students to pursue their dreams.

THAT'S what was filling me with dread this entire time. They not only had the guy who made one of the best horror shorts I've ever seen as a silly character, but as a consultant because they decided they ALSO wanted to do some fucking scary VHS timeloop stuff.

My friend and I were being taught advanced algebra concepts except in a very dumbed down, simplistic way so it would be easier to understand.
Except, my friend already understood all of it. He would say, "Oh, that's an integral of 0 to pi," and the teacher would say, "Well yes, but the answer I'm looking for is 'red'."
This Math class was interspersed with sessions on the Grimace Shower and Workout Machine, a Grimace-themed workout machine where you would hold yourself horizontal with your arms, play a shitty arcade game with your feet, and a tiny little spout would occasionally pour water onto your chest.

tbh my latest biggest theory for why HoO and onwards is such a dramatic drop in quality and consistency is just. Rick stopped making teaching guides.
Like, the Lightning Thief teacher's guide is SUPER in-depth with even stuff like sources about middle grade child psychology and exact specifications of where he's applying that, explaining what different character's goals/motivations are, their dynamics with each other and their environments, etc etc. Even specifying which specific myths certain plot elements are supposed to reference or be about.
That stuff just doesn't exist for later books. There's activity guides and smaller, significantly more simple teacher guides for later books but they don't go into anywhere NEAR the same level of depth. The TLT one is a full lesson plan that breaks down the book at every level and explains what's going on and more or less why Rick did that. The others are all basically just glossaries of terminology and some simple question guides.
And they didn't even use the TLT teacher's guide for the Disney+ show because they clearly aren't adhering to any of what's discussed in that breakdown of the book.
By creating a teaching guide alongside writing the actual book, that's forcing you to document what you're doing, why, your sources, and information about your characters and the story they're in. It's like an even more in-depth version of a series bible. But that's lacking for later books (and etc) and it shows because that level of thought and depth and attention just isn't there anymore.

On the topic of Declare:
A little while ago, on a whim, I prompted several different chat LLMs with a line from the Arabian Nights that has special importance in the novel:
O fish, are you constant to the old covenant?
In the book, this is used as a sign between members of a secret group, and there's a canned response that members are meant to give to identify themselves. (Like "I like your shoelaces" / "Thanks, I stole them from the President.").
I thought it'd be funny and impressive if one of these models responded with the canned phrase from Declare: that would have demonstrated both a command of somewhat obscure information and a humanlike ability to flexibly respond to an unusual input in the same spirit as that input.
None of the models did so, although I was still impressed with Gemini's reaction: it correctly sourced the quote to Arabian Nights in its first message, and was able to guess and/or remember that the quote was also used in Declare in follow-up chat (after a few wrong guesses and hints from me).
On the other hand, GPT-4 confidently stated that the quotation was from Jubilate Agno, a real but unrelated book:
Tumblr media
When I asked Claude 3, it asserted that the line was from a real-but unrelated-poem called "The Fish," then proceeded -- without my asking -- to quote (i.e make up) a stanza from its imagined version of that poem:
Tumblr media
It is always discomfiting to be reminded that -- no matter how much "safety" tuning these things are put through, and despite how preachy they can be about their own supposed aversion to "misinformation" or whatever -- they are nonetheless happy to confidently bullshit to the user like this.
I'm sure they have an internal sense of how sure or unsure they are of any given claim, but it seems they have (effectively) been trained not to let it influence their answers, and instead project maximum certainty almost all of the time.

So my brain's been cooking after seeing a lot more meta going around lately about Ed and Izzy's deliciously toxic relationship (re: father figure/daddy issues), and in the meantime I couldn't rest until I put out this half-baked thought:
It's interesting that in the threat/Kraken reawakened scene of s1 ep10, Ed not only uses physical force against Izzy, but actually grabs him by the throat. Because this is the closest he's ever been to killing personally since the one time before—his father, by strangulation.

You’re surrounded by family
Better quality details under the cut because you can’t even see all my favorite bits like the sign on the inn that says “Izzy’s” 🥲 image compression on this website is!!! Yikes.
Anyway this is what season 3 will be like David Jenkins told me personally. The found family can be a chill little crew at their dads’ place, as a treat🫡

i do think as writers and creatives we would all benefit from letting ourselves embrace and enjoy being a beginner at something. and not just in a "because one day you will improve and see how far you've come" way but actually enjoying being an amateur at something in the moment. embracing the fun and excitement of something new even if you don't really know anything yet. like i'm making a worldbuilding bible for the first time and do i have any idea what i'm doing? no. am i having fun? absolutely

I'm in a reference class right now and I just get so irrationally angry about the requirements.
Like, obviously, the purpose of the class is to make sure all the theoretically-future (or sometimes current) librarians know how to actually look things up AND verify sources AND in a wide variety of subjects and topics. Yes, good, valuable, important.
BUT I hate it so much. I hate questions that sound like they came from an alien whose best human impression comes from old chatbots: "Who is Zora Neale Hurston? What is she known for? Does Sparkle Library have any of her books?" why are you asking the first two questions if you clearly know them enough to ask the third "What's this geologic feature I saw in town? What's its history? Where is it?" can I point you to Google Maps please "What is the meaning of the word fandom?" why am I required to find you four verified resources on a dictionary definition "Can you help me find articles about this topic" yes but our professor hasn't actually given us examples of how they'd 'verify' articles so IDK if this will work even though it's literally exactly how I'd do this in my actual library job where I provide reference services to college students.

My mom getting a new place is kinda making me anxious I think she thinks I’m gonna move in w her instead of my dad 😭 and I’m not sure why I don’t want to. Cuz she’s way better. But I don’t. And I feel responsible I think and plus my sisters will never favor my mom over my dad… so we’d live apart. but I’m 20 years old I can live whatever I want. But. But but but
#idk I really like our house too. it’s great. it’s exactly my style. I would miss it LMAO#but again my mom is just.. she’s so much more organized and she and my stepdad actually get stuff done#and take care of themselves. living w her would be more like we’re roommates and not how it is w my dad#who needs to be taken care of and doted on like a child. my sisters too but I don’t think they’d survive living without me at my dads 💀#or they’d be really pissed at me. at the least#my dads house is constantly horrible so messy so so so bad no free counterspace anywhere can barely walk thru the house and cat vomit#everywhere. unless I take care of all of it. I can’t have company over unless I know a week in advance so I can make it look like a normal#house. and at my moms it’s never like that. it’s messier than average sure but it’s never disgusting like that#people are always telling me not to do anything and let my family learn to clean up after themselves but if I don’t it will just get worse#and worse. they’ll wait weeks before doing anything. it’s embarrassing. and depressing. if I let it go long enough I am miserable every day#after being homeless or on the verge of homelessness for 10 years my dad can’t even appreciate the fantastic house we have 😭#he has to fuck it all up. it’s not 100% his fault bc my sisters do fuck all but he DID teach them to be this way. the only reason I do#anything is because I snapped out of planning to kill myself and realized that I needed to be there for my sisters. so I started being like#their parent more and more. but they still never learned to unload the dishwasher or take out the trash without screaming about it.#I’m just very overwhelmed and nervous about this move. I also feel horrible as if I’m disappointing my mom if I don’t move in. I don’t want#to disappoint her any more than I already have..#she is soooo excited about giving me a room the basement so I can have my bunnies there..
