I pray that one day we can find a cure for not only stomach cancer but all cancers.

Your recent post about virginity hit so hard to me and I want to thank you for this!

Virginity at 18/25/30 years or even later is a huge taboo, even in feminist discussions. I have been noticing how many feminists discuss this theme through a male supremacist lenses (even without noticing it) and it doesn't help women. What I mean by that is that they often use “virgin” as an insult against misogynistic men who do nothing but harass women to feel better about themselves, because there are this common idea they're miserable bc they didn't get the pussies they think they are entitled to but to us, women, this topic is so different and should have been discussed differently.

I have seen many cases of women being denied properly gynecological treatment because they are virgins. They get literally embarrassed by the professionals who should have to take care of their health. Lesbians also face hardships with some gynecologists because they don't think lesbian sex is real and it affects the treatment.

The lack of a feminist approach of virginity also created a gap that was taken by the ace activism and their need to prove that ace people face real oppression for not wanting to have sex and get a place in the lgbtq alphabet. Their approach is liberal most of the time because they ignore male supremacy and the hypersexualization of the society due to pornography and prostitution. They make it seems like ace is another identity and any straight people who claim to be demissexual gain a place in the lgbt movement as an oppressed member, which is an insult for obvious reasons.

The fact that women are ashamed for still being virgins and also ashamed for being sexual active is the different sides of the same coin. The sexual control of our bodies under male supremacy!

I agree with all of this. I tend to welcome a lot of asexual adovacy just because they seem to be the only group right now advocating for women choosing not to or not wanting to have sex. Though even now in asexual circles I see a push for "kink positive asexuality" which feels like men trying to ensure women are open to sex and their fetishes no matter what, which is a shame. But yes, I agree that virgin isn't an insult and we shouldn't use sexual history in general as an insult as it only creates more shame against women and their bodies.
