Ever so often I wonder what her story is. She is quite needy....whines when I put her in her kennel and walk away, follows me when I leave the room, waits for me by the dog gate when I go upstairs. I know her records at the shelter said she was adopted and then returned due to behavioral problems. And I know she still needs some work (a few manners and some obedience stuff) but she is still a sweet girl. You don't have to worry about us returning you Reese, we #adoptforlife. Today is #adoptforlife day, reminding you to adopt, not buy, your companion animals. I've lived with Bapou for over 11 years, since he was adopted from a shelter at about three months old. He's one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met and I'm overjoyed to have him in my family. Every time you buy an animal from a store or breeder, you take away a life from an animal in a shelter.
