addison's house.

his limbs don't feel heavy today, and his brain doesn't feel foggy, despite a long shift, he's feeling refreshed, almost good. it's not too early when he heads out of the medical center, and he could go home, easily, get some rest, and maybe dig into one of his many projects, but when he's feeling this good, he knows he should be making rounds outside of work, too.

seeing his siblings was something he tried to do at least once a week, they lived in the same city, after all, and not too far enough from each other to pretend they didn't have time, and they made time, that was their thing, they always made time. Alex hadn't really spoken to Addison in person in a bit though, the both of them rotating around each other, and so alex took the initiative to pick them both up a cup of coffee and head on over.

he has a key, because they're just like that, he and his siblings. in case of emergencies, in case of boredom. "addie?" he calls out, his voice, heavy-accented fills the house, and when he doesn't hear her right away his brows furrow in confusion. suddenly, there's a noise, and it's then when he steps in further, "adds?" he calls again, but he doesn't need to inquire further, because there's his sister, bottle of vodka in hand, sitting on the floor in front of her couch. "Shit, Addie," he rushes over, cups of coffee being set on the table "what's wrong?"
