One of my favorite shadam hc is that prior to the whole kerberos stuff, Adam and Shiro had their own place to come home to and would only go to the garrison for work - and that at some point, they got Keith his own room at their apartment so that he could sleep there on weekends and holidays, and eventually they started thinking about adopting him but space dad got lost in space before it coule actually happen -

I got a whole comic idea for that last bit so maybe later after the "Room for two" one is finished, who knows 🤷🏾‍♀️

voltron au where everything is the same butcept adam realized iverson was a lying son of a bitch so he stole a ship and flew out to find shiro. in like the middle of the series they would've reunited and we would've actually known about adam before season 7 because shiro would've talked about him. so that we FEEL SOMETHING at the loss. maybe it's just me but adashi means so much to me just because i think shiro deserves a win; that win being him getting to see his ex fiancé when he comes home. instead we get "adam... i'm sorry..." and like twenty other seconds of screentime with adam. why are we supposed to care about him? because he loves shiro? yeah that's literally the only reason.
