Tony Bramwell, on Yoko
- gradually, inch by inch she intruded into our lives
- It was hardly surprising that John felt some kind of electricity; but it was probably the air crackling with Yoko’s desperation
- If I were standing about with him, Yoko would come up to me and say something in her high little girl’s voice, perhaps hoping to get John to notice her [...]. John would walk off to talk to someone else, while she stared after him. In those days, Yoko was always staring after John.
- She wanted to possess John and she was the one who was exceptionally jealous. She could not cope with the fact that John could love three other guys.
- her piece de resistance, the much-reprised performance of “Cut Piece.” The scissors were wired for sound, so every cut had a horrific, almost animal sound, like a beast crunching into its human prey.
- did Yoko do her hypnotism thing, as some of John’s friends thought she had, or did she have a powerful new drug in her arsenal? Nobody really believed that John fell in love overnight, because why hadn’t he done so before? He’d been kicking Yoko in and out of his life for over a year. Mostly, he had given the impression that he resented and despised her. [...] Perhaps it was that he really was mentally ill and like many schizoid personalities, got religious mania.
- Overnight, he no longer had a will of his own.
- ...an attempt to use Primal Scream Therapy under Arthur Janov by telephone, to free him from his heroin addiction...
- Sir Joe said he didn’t think the pictures were obscene, he had seen much worse, an opinion which confused John and Yoko. They wanted to be seen as avant-garde and enfants terribles.
- Yoko had no sense of humour at all and she loathed Phil as much as Phil hated her. Each of them was implacable and paranoid.
- I used to dread taking John and Yoko’s arty stuff into radio stations and asking them to play it. For me, it was a bad experience because it was unplayable and unlistenable. [...] The reaction was a bored, “Why are you bringing this crap to us?” At first I argued with radio producers about it, though not on a very artistic level. I even heard myself saying, “Because he pays my wages. That’s why!” It was so embarrassing.
- As far as Yoko was concerned, if you spout all this magical, healing, antiwar, be kind to everybody, all-seeing, all-caring, all-macrobiotic stuff, being pregnant on heroin would seem to be the last thing she would need. And how does all that stuff equate with shooting up smack? How does all that spiritual pontificating gel with the teaspoon and the needle, unless you’re a fraud?
- According to John, Yoko snorted [heroin], but I had no doubt that if she had used a needle, she would probably have said it was acupuncture.
- John used to like life. He used to like to get on a roll. Laugh, eat and drink. [...] proper breakfasts, an old-fashioned fry-up, pie and chips, fish and chips, fried chicken, a roast dinner on a Sunday, Chinese food, curry, spaghetti Bolognese. Everything. Then he met Yoko, grew his beard, and [...] from Irish navvy’s food, he went to heroin and macrobiotics. I think if Yoko had said it was spiritual to snort bean curd instead of eat it John would have done it.
- She and John used to whisper away in their corner, with a completely different, us-against-the-world perspective to everyone. I know they did, because filming quietly on the sidelines, I heard.
- Having discussed life and its ins and outs and meanings, and worked out that it all means nothing, John and Yoko didn’t want to, couldn’t possibly, give the edifice of the Beatles any credit, or indeed any respect.
- doubt set in because some critics and reviewers gave her favourable reviews in the press and on TV. You’d find yourself wondering if you were an intellectual failure, unable to spot the hidden value in Yoko’s art and music. [...] somehow it became important to judge Yoko as impartially as possible, mostly out of regard for John. The problem was we couldn’t accept that he could be so blinded.
- [Dan Richter] was a close confidant of [Yoko and Tony Cox]. He said he heard all their hopes and schemes to hook John, at first as a financial “angel,” then, with dawning excitement, as a lover.
- According to Dan, Tony Cox actively encouraged the affair between John and Yoko as a means of survival. He said that Cox would tell Yoko to “go get Lennon.” When John proved elusive, as he was at first, Cox told Yoko she wasn’t trying hard enough. For her part, when she saw how close she was to capturing their prey, Yoko told Dan that they’d soon be rich beyond their wildest dreams.
- Cox began to feel fragile, thinking he might get cut out. In all seriousness, he drew up an agreement that he insisted Yoko sign. This single-page document—which was drawn up and signed at Dan’s kitchen table—stated that when Yoko hooked John, they would split any cash she got from the endeavour.

I wanna know so much more about Adam's cult! Why did he start a cult in the first place? What does he hope to get out of it? What's his end goal? And what does the cult really do? What do the followers hope to get out of joining it/following Adam? Do they all have the same goal, or are their goals more of individual things? Adam's whole story FASCINATES me!
Well!! I am very happy to hear you're interested !
So I am forever hoping to one day do some little shorts or a mini series showing what they get up to and how they got into their mess, but that's probably quite a while away before I have the resources for all that lol-- so!
Adam sort of stumbled into being a cult leader. It was not his goal at all-- his goal was, and arguably still is, very earnest. And these people he calls his friends, that's not a euphemism, they really are his friends. At least, they were. He met them all and befriended them in his journeys with Jude in his big yellow van. Daisy he met at a college protest, Orion he picked up after he jumped the fence of a military fort and ran into the road. Etc.
Adam has always been a conniving charmer and prone to taking charge. A bit of a benevolent narcissist, but otherwise kind and harmless. He only makes a steady and dangerous shift in behavior after discovering a method of "new age treatment" that is effectively like a chemical lobotomy with a touch of brainwashing. Through a special blend of materials including the psychoactive chemical found in morning glory seeds, with an acupuncture-like procedure, Adam achieves perfect command over the unguarded subconscious. He can remove emotion, compel thoughts, induce apathy, force you to tell the truth, and even add an emotion to you through a process he calls "Purification". Although its only "purifying" the way he does it-- as lucky for you, he wants nothing more than for you to be happy and care free. He wants to remove all source of negative energy from your mind.
Originally, Sonny was the first ever volunteer, trusting Adam to attempt to remove withdrawal anxiety from an addiction-- which is why they were out in the middle of a sunflower field, they were actually all trying to help detox their friend. This is why Sonny is sometimes called the "first flower" as in, "the first flower they all grew together". Now, ( as in, in most art I draw of them not depicting the past ) the only one not under Adam's command is Jude, his oldest friend. He likes to stay behind the camera, and coincidentally, out of most rituals.
They're actually called " New Solists" because they worship the sun. The ins and outs of what they believe in spiritually as a group, and how they got those superstitions, has been said across scattered asks and it'd take a whole other post to summarize, but--
To put it simply, they want good vibes only and peace on earth.

At this time, hospital conditions were bad and people didn’t have access to their own records and didn’t have the right to be treated well. So, the second success, another important thing, is the Patient’s Bill of Rights, which is the 10 points that you find in hospital rooms. The Patient’s Bill of Rights was actually the result of a collaboration between members of the Young Lords and the Black Panther Party, with the assistance of the doctors, and written by me. Although it is considerably watered down now, you still find that Patient’s Bill of Rights on the wall of every hospital. It’s not as radical as the original . . . but still includes some of the issues we highlighted, such as the ability to have access to your medical records. The ability to be treated like a human being, not to have research done on you unless you give your consent. All those things are really important.
A third important thing is the Lincoln Hospital drug detoxification program, which still is in existence today. We started that program. It was established by Panama [Vicente “Panama” Alba] and Butch [Ford, a Bronx activist who had run a detox program in his home] with the support of the Young Lords, the Black Panthers, and the radical doctors. It’s still in existence today, of course, but considerably watered down by the people who are running it now. But it wouldn’t have been there without our struggle.
Several key NY Black Panther Party members played a prominent role in leading these initiatives; including Michael Tabor who identified the link between fighting drug addiction and revolution, Zayd Shakur who spearheaded the occupation of Lincoln Hospital, Assata Shakur and Joan Bird who used their positions as nurses to improve access to healthcare for the people, Cleo Silvers who drafted the Patient’s Bill of Rights, Curtis Powell’s work in acupuncture and drug treatment, and Dr. Mutulu Shakur’s establishment of a multiracial drug treatment clinic
Another Panther member involved in the health activism initiatives and the drafting of a Patient’s Bill of Rights was Afeni Shakur

Do you have any headcanons for how the hacketteers would deal with being sick? Maybe how often they get sick, what type of illnesses they are prone to, etc….
Way behind on Quarry asks but I am home sick with some kind of crud right now so what better time to answer this one?!
Emma - Emma is a people person and always on the go, so she's exposed to a lot of germs. I feel like she'd be the one to get into juicing and making smoothies for immune health and the 'sexy' supplements like Moon Juice or whatever Gwyneth Paltrow is selling (but nobody’s sure if she really buys into them or if she’s just trying to get a sponsorship). Emma has a system for any kind of normal illness that doesn't completely knock her on her ass and that is to take a very hot bath with peppermint and eucalyptus bath salts and drink a hot toddy while she's in there. (Just the one, she doesn't want to drown!)
Jacob - This guy gets the dreaded Man Cold and is the sickest person who has ever lived. He doesn't get sick often because he's fairly health conscious, but he's absolutely pathetic and mopey about it when he does. He wants to be babied because his perfect male specimen of a body and extensive supplement regimen have betrayed him. He hates going to the doctor and puts it off until someone makes him go. Kaitlyn brings him soup and yells at him (affectionately) to stop being pathetic. He drinks a ton of Gatorade when he's sick (always Cool Blue flavor).
Kaitlyn - Look, Kaitlyn's Asian and her family was wearing masks during cold and flu season long before it was cool. She doesn't totally buy into the traditional Chinese medicine stuff but she does believe in the healing power of food that's spicy as fuck, especially if she's having sinus issues. She's also a fan of long, hot baths or showers, chicken soup with a ton of garlic, drinking a bunch of tea with lemon and ginger, the sauna at the gym, exercising even if she doesn't feel like it, hot yoga, and acupuncture. If that doesn't knock it out, she's not too stubborn to go to the doctor, people like that (who have insurance but don’t use it) drive her crazy (Jacob!).
Abi - If something is going around, Abi just knows she's going to get it. She’s a worrier and a bit of a catastrophizer when she does get sick. She's a hand sanitizer addict, she's got those cute sparkly holders from Bath & Body Works (but she uses the Halloween ones all year). She's good about letting herself take time to rest and get her strength back after an illness though. She likes to catch up on trash TV while she's recuperating. She also gets allergy shots because her environmental allergies are insane. She uses a neti pot or saline spray often to ward off sinus infections.
Ryan - Our stoic boy is stoic. Ryan takes all the necessary precautions to not get sick, he's kind of an obsessive hand-washer for sensory reasons anyway, but when he does, he follows doctors' recommendations to the letter and rarely complains. He will typically muddle through like normal if he's not got something contagious, but if he has to take time off work or school, he doesn't really talk about it or look to be cared for, just holes up in his room alone trying to not spread it around--he is very conscientious. Ryan gets the occasional migraine and that's one thing he can't really muddle through. He has to be in a quiet, dark room to recover, with an ice pack on his head, a caffeinated beverage, and a guided meditation podcast.
Dylan - People love to make our boy a damsel in distress because he's a cute gay string bean that bad things happen to, but Dylan is pretty tough in the game (like, unrealistically tough at times). I tend to consider his amputee arc as main canon, so given the assumption that he doesn't die of sepsis after surviving werewolves, he's got to have a pretty robust immune system and probably doesn't get sick that often. He does have that whole under-react/overreact thing going on though (the air freshener lol), so I imagine that when he does get sick, he either just carries on until he physically can't anymore (he'd wear a mask and get vaccinated and all that good stuff, he's a scientist after all, but he’s bad about making sure he gets rest) OR he starts Googling his symptoms and getting paranoid, convinced he has some rare incurable disease (he doesn't). He also doesn't really like to slow down and let people take care of him but when they really insist, he not-so-secretly loves the attention, from his mom, his boyfriend, his roommate/bestie, whoever.
Nick - Nick turns into a slimy wet sex pest whenever he gets sick. No, I’m kidding. I think it’d be funny/ironic/unfortunate if chef Nick had kind of a sensitive digestive system. He will eat anything, especially if Jacob is eating it. But, alas, Jacob has an iron stomach and our poor Nicholas does not. So he gets a lot of tummy troubles from doing things like eating 20 year old snacks or trying to go head to head with Jacob and Kaitlyn in a spicy ramen challenge. Nick gets sick a regular amount with stuff like head colds and is just kind of middle of the road as far as how he handles it. He does however have a habit of making up untrue facts about Australia that he tells his coworkers and campers when no one has the internet available to fact check him and one of them is that a steaming mug of hot pickle juice is a favorite folk remedy for colds there.
Max - he doesn’t get sick often but he is highly accident-prone. Like, so accident-prone that his family has started calling them ‘Maxidents’ when he has a major mishap. He routinely falls off ladders, gets attacked by migratory waterfowl, trips while trying to carry more groceries than he should into the apartment, etc. Max is luckily a very good patient because he has a lot of practice. He also has a lot of ice packs in the freezer at all times.
Laura - she gets onto Max about being careful, getting enough sleep, eating healthy, etc, but Laura is a do as I say, not as I do kinda gal. She does try to be healthy and active but she’s really busy (busier than ever post-canon because she thinks she can outrun trauma if she never slows down long enough to think about it). When Laura gets sick she gets Leslie Knope sick.
Max has to put her in bed and take care of her because she will not admit she needs it until she is practically on death’s door.

It is essential to prescribe pain treatments that are appropriate and effective for each patient. I say that based on my own experiences as a patient, as well as thousands of others I have spoken with over the years as a friend and advocate. Patients who need opioids, benzodiazepines, antidepressants and other medications should have access to them -- just as a heart patient has access to medication that keeps their heart functioning or a diabetic needs access to insulin.
People living with pain should also be offered individualized treatment. That could be anything from physical therapy and analgesics to surgical procedures and alternative therapies like acupuncture. I have tried over 100 different types of pain treatment; some have worked and others have not. It often made me feel like a guinea pig. Unnecessary surgery hurt me most in the end. There are many public education campaigns underway to prevent addiction and overdoses by reducing the use of prescription opioids. These campaigns are repeated in the media, but the information does not always include facts or is presented in a misleading way.
For example, there is the DEA’s “One Pill Can Kill” campaign, which is aimed at raising awareness about a surge in counterfeit pills made with illicit fentanyl and other street drugs. Another is the CDC’s “Rx Awareness” campaign, which shares the stories of people whose lives were impacted by prescription opioids. The overall theme is that opioids are “addictive and dangerous.” Although well-intentioned, these campaigns have a tendency to demonize FDA-approved medications that have a lot of science and research behind them. Most people are unaware that fentanyl has been used safely and effectively for decades to treat severe pain and as an analgesic in millions of surgeries. Saying “one pill can kill” to a pain patient who has improved their life with a legally prescribed medication is disheartening.
I have seen this misinformation firsthand over the years and how it has put a damper on opioid prescribing. Physicians should prescribe opioids for pain when appropriate, but many are afraid to do so because of potential sanctions and legal threats. As a result, many providers won’t prescribe opioids or will only do so minimally and as a last resort. (Read more at link)

Spencer Reid + Migraines
(Chronic pain as a metaphor for emotional baggage or emotional blocks in media)
TLDR; I hate it when media uses pain (especially irl chronic pain conditions) as a metaphor for emotional trauma and allows a character to be healed once they have gotten over their trauma.
So this is a rant I've had building up for a while now, especially because I've seen quite a few people on my dashboard talking about Maeve/the Maeve storyline, and how she was introduced to the show as Spencer's doctor who magically "cured" his headaches with vitamins? Apparently (I don't remember the details because I haven't seen those episodes in so long, but yikes).
I am a chronic pain sufferer and I have been formally diagnosed with chronic migraines. Because of a medication used to treat chronic migraines, I haven't had an attack in more than three years (save for one outlier).
Migraines are an intensely serious medical problem, and it's weird to me that Spencer was clearly having migraine attacks on the show and they didn't address it as it's own medical problem? They just acted like he was having some light headaches and needed to ignore it and get over the problem or "find the root cause" - aka stop being sad and then your brain will get better???
When I was originally watching the Season 6 episodes where Spencer starts struggling with his "headaches", I have never related to something more in my life. Especially because at that point in my life, I was still have 2 or 3 migraine attacks per month, and seeing him wearing sunglasses indoors, aggressively bouncing his leg to try and distract from the pain while sitting in a hospital waiting room, rubbing his eye sockets, flinching at the light - that was and sometimes still is my life.
When the doctors determined that he didn't have epilepsy, didn't have a tumor, etc. I was like "okay, so they're gonna treat him for migraines and acknowledge that migraines are a really detrimental chronic pain condition."
But no. They just have him the whole "idk. You're not dying so the pain must be cause you're like... sad."
And I totally understand Spencer not wanting to take medication because of his past with Dualdid, but there are so many non-narcotic options for pain treatment. Especially because his character is very into science, it would have been interesting to see him exploring alternative (very traditional) medicine like acupuncture or massage, while acknowledging his past drug addiction as a problem and saying that he doesn't want to relapse.
Hell, it would have even been nice for them to acknowledge that his caffeine addiction could have been affecting his headaches and for there to be a little subplot where he was super irritable because his doctor asked him to quit coffee to see if it made his headaches go away. (Because one of the first migraine treatments is quitting caffeine, chocolate, or alcohol - common trigger foods.)
But instead, the show presented his headaches as a physical presentation of his emotional pain. Which is something incredibly common for shows to do - the other example I can think of is Weeds. But in general I fucking hate the idea that chronic pain is just an embodiment of emotional trauma, and once you get over that emotional trauma, you are "cured". (Because it was narratively implied in the show that part of the reason Maeve was able to cure his headaches is because he was in love with her, not because of the weird pills she gave him.)
For once, I would like to see a show acknowledge chronic pain as a problem that is 100% out of the control of a person, and even though it's not life threatening, it still fucking sucks. And while it might be treatable, it is incurable. Like HELLO
Don't treat it like some emotional arc that the person has to get over and not a problem that people have to realistically battle for their whole lives. I HATE the metaphor that pain is just a manifestation of negative emotions and it will go away once you acknowledge your trauma or battle those negative emotions.
I so badly wanted them to acknowledge Spencer as a chronic migraine patient and treat him as such.
But anyway. That's it

recovery day three
emotionally it’s been a very tough one. Really didn’t want to get out of bed today, but in the end was glad that I did. I had a work disciplinary meeting first thing, obviously wasn’t great but I’m pleased that it’s over and done with now. Hopefully that will be the end of that. I did go back to bed for a short nap then made a few phone calls and got some answers surrounding some other uncertainties and a little potential hope, but nothing certain yet. Headed into town for acupuncture and a catch up with my drug counsellor who offered me a session with another therapist (which I have snapped up, pls give me all the help I can possibly access I need and I want it and I really fucking appreciate it). After acupuncture I went out for dinner by myself, sat alone, was actually quite nice. When I settled the bill I mentioned that it was a pre-birthday treat and they took the price of the main off bless them that was kind and choked me up. Went from dinner to an NA meeting, which was, as always, really good. I love that meeting, and am starting to feel a part of the group - I shared really openly and got vulnerable bc I want to do this right. One of the men shared that once you start coming to meetings but have relapses it’s almost like you become disillusioned, you realise that there is another way other than the misery of addiction and repeating the cycle. That was the magic that I took with me today. There’s a thunder and lightning storm tonight, really heavy rain, I love it. ☔️⛈️
very sleepy, goodnight

Okay, so there’s a lot to unpack here with Erwin Smith. As you probably know, he’s a very complex individual. Extremely hard to get close to, due to how busy/committed he is to his job.
However, if you do manage, prepare to be swept off your feet like Mary Poppins caught in a storm. Funny to look at but an absolute whirlwind.
Erwin is the gentleman. He will be so respectful, patient and alpha that you’ll feel like nothing in the world could ever hurt you, not even the Titans.
However, he’s known to sacrifice all he can for answers so I wouldn’t rely on that too much. Not that I’m saying he’d happily throw you into the jaws of a sixteen foot monster or anything, because he wouldn’t. He will sometimes go silent for days as he buries himself into his work. Unfortunately its just something you’re going to have to put up with if you want to be in this mans life.
Ideal Dates
Fancy dining is something you can expect when you’re with Erwin. He knows life is short and enjoying life while you can is important. That and he’s experienced the shitty ways of military life and the slop they serve; not to mention famine. So, now he’s up on the commander ladder, prepare to be spoiled with candle lit dinners and fine wines.
Doesn’t make him a snob though. He’s so down to earth he has this power where he’ll make you feel like royalty, all while lifting up everyone else in the room too. Kind and polite, he never fails to make others feel good about themselves; just a nod, a smile and a “thank you” goes miles for anyone serving him food.
Is a sucker for late night walks - especially in parks. He’ll loop your hand through his arm as he takes slow strides, his entirety rumbling with each small laugh he lets out. With you, having managed to penetrate into his life, he’s found a new happiness he didn’t think he’d ever have in this lifetime.
Like Levi, Erwin always smells good. Fresh shower gels, cologne, you name it.
Picnic’s in the spring and summer are something else you can expect from this amazing human. He’ll feed you fancy cheeses, bites of cake and so on.
Modern AU
I can see Erwin having a few professions in a modern au. A professor, a business man with Levi as his partner, and even the owner of a fancy, swag car store.
It’s just in his DNA to rise to the top of things - that’s Erwin for you. Whatever career he has, he’s high up and earns a lot of money. He’s a workaholic through and through, no matter what universe you’re in, he’s going to struggle balancing his work life with his personal life. It’s a major issue you’ll have to tackle if you want to be romantically involved with him.
He takes Levi to get acupuncture to help with his insomnia. He’s open minded and also suggests Tai-Chi.
Espresso’s are basically pumped directly into this mans veins. None after 4 though, else he’ll be up all night.
Always at his desk when he’s home. Very rarely does he relax without intervention from you. You have to ask him to come watch some TV or read a book. He’ll happily spend quiet time with you, he just needs reminding.
NSFW
Oh boy.
I’ve always cannoned Erwin as having a magic cock. It’s so fat and big and shaped so beautifully ~ ahh.
I call it magic because it’s basically a mini orgasm with each drag along your walls. And when you reach your golden end - you’ll be knocked silly.
I’m talking eye rolls, drool, you’ll flop like a rag doll as he pumps you into heaven.
His cock is addictive. Once Erwin inserts himself into you for the first time no other cock will ever do. It’s just… magical.
A gentleman in the sheets too - unless you don’t want him to be.
His load is so thick, like - McDonalds milkshake thick. And there’s so much of it, he can fill you up until you’re leaking and pull out and cover you.
The noises he makes consist of heavy, deep and almost guttural panting. Has such a sly smile while he watches how well your greedy insides take him.
Can and will preform oral on you for hours. Until your legs are shaking and you’re begging for mercy.
Don’t expect to ever be able to walk properly after he’s done with you, ‘cause you won’t.
Kinks
There’s two main (yet huge) moods Erwin has.
One is his praise kink. He worships you and your body. He’ll tell you how gorgeous, strong, pretty, beautiful, perfect etc., you are. It really gets him going showing his king/queen how he sees you and making you feel good about yourself. Making you feel as good as you deserves is almost good enough to make him cum on the spot. But of course, he has amazing self-control and his stamina is second to none.
Then there’s the other mood he has…
Having you dry hump him, beg him to pleasure you gets his motor running from 0 - 90.
If he’s super busy he’ll have you dry hump his tree trunk of a thigh while he fills in paper work, your desperate and pathetic body just pleading for him to see to you, the way only Erwin can. It won’t last too long though - it turns him on too much and will end up throwing you on the desk and fucking you until you see stars.
Aftercare
No matter how busy he was when you started to fuck, he’ll always take time to look after you after he’s destroyed your insides.
Pillow talk, soft kisses, telling you how well you did and how you milk him dry so well.
Will get you a tray of food and a drink and will bring it up to bed for you. Fruits, croissants, yoghurt… mmm.
After a particularly long session, he’ll wrap you up in the sheet and carry you to the shower; changing the bedding to a fresh set while you’re in there. He’ll lay out clean Pjs and have that tray of food waiting for you.
Always, always wraps his arms around you to fall asleep, his satisfied sighs in your ear always a joyous sound to end your day to.
Dates 10/10
Thoughtfulness 6/10
Affection 4/10
Sex 10/10
Aftercare 10/10

Description of 3 Placements (example reading)
Description of 3 Chosen Placements in Solar Return Chart for HeartLilith
(Using Placidus House System)
SR Sun in the 12th house at 0 degrees:
Solar Return Sun in the 12th house is a year of isolation in order to heal and release past wounds. This will most likely be a behind the scenes year because you will desire more alone time, even if you don’t desire alone time, you’ll get it. The Sun, which represents the self and the ego, in the 12th house, which represents the hidden and unconscious, means you could have some sort of ego death or go through something that completely changes the way you view life. Be cautious of substance abuse, addictions, and taking chances with your resources. Avoid people with substance abuse problems and addictions, your emotional sensitivity is extremely heightened and you tend to take on others behaviors unconsciously. Maintain your integrity, any actions that build negative karma will be faced with immediate repercussions. You’ll be more drained this year, your relationship with sleep isn’t the best and lack of sleep is evident. Maintain a positive attitude in the face of tests and challenges, don’t fall into emotional holes or deep bouts of depression because the 12th house is a slippery slope as it is. Take responsibility for your actions and be honest with yourself, it will do you good. Get involved in something that serves others; charity work, volunteering, or helping people when they need it without anything in return. You may receive more attention from others or you’ll be talked about more behind your back this year. Everything that no longer serves you will be shed; you may feel lonely and sad because of it but its for the best… don’t take it to heart (remember, slippery slope). You have to get rid of the old to let in the new. Being in 0 degrees, the energy you feel here is prominent and significant, especially without planets in your natal 12th house. The 0 degree is a critical degree and even though the 12th house rules endings, it’ll be a year that is completely different from the rest in every aspect. I hope you’re not too attached to things and people because the more attached you are, the harder it will be.
SR Aquarius Moon in SR 6th house:
In combination with your SR Sun 12th house placement, the need for emotional and physical space is evident this year. You have a more detached disposition emotionally which will help you immensely with the endings associated with the 12th house. You will need and crave constant stimuli in order to avoid boredom in your day to day routines. Speaking of day to day routines, this could be a big stressor for you this year because it will change a lot. Your day to day will change constantly so don’t get too comfortable. Use learning, researching, and whatever else you like as a way to ground yourself. Restlessness and research are prominent. You are more concerned with the future than with the past this year and will be more unpredictable and likely to make sudden unexpected changes. Your relationship with coworkers is detached and distant, you’re too unpredictable to make meaningful connections with them now. You may be gone from work for a month and back the next. You may have a detached relationship with your mother this year, or fluctuating from being close to distant then back to being close again. This placement puts focus on progressive health practices in terms of mental and emotional wellbeing. You may try different forms of medicine and/or therapy which will probably be more holistic (think herbs, eastern medicine, rapid eye movement therapy, acupuncture, reiki). Self care is super important here because you’ll need to ground some of that unpredictable energy.
SR Moon in Natal 1st House:
The focus is on yourself this year, or at least it should be. Turn inward toward your emotions and pay special attention to them because you won’t feel them as strongly as you did, say, last year. This could lead to them sneaking up on you all at once, making it much harder for you to deal with. Set time aside each day and have a conversation with yourself or better yet, journal. Having an SR Aquarius Moon on top of it being in the 1st house can indicate that maybe you don’t notice your emotions as much but others do. They’ll notice your emotional nature and their lack of. Even if you don’t say anything to anyone, people get the vibe that you’re more in your head and that you need your space. They can tell that you’re less emotionally reactive this year versus other years, more rigid and logical. Fears, anxieties, overthinking, and phobias can improve or disappear. The way you see the world is less obsessive and more carefree or trusting even. You’re full of information this year and want to having stimulating conversations with like minded people. You’ll be overflowing with great ideas but may not have the focus to follow them through, but you should anyway. Having Capricorn Rising in your Natal Chart plus Aquarius Rising in the SR Chart is a double Saturn influence on your ASC, meaning you’ll mature a lot this year from facing obstacles and challenges. It also means you’re familiar with this energy even though it may be a little different, since Capricorn is cardinal Earth and Aquarius is fixed Air. This year will help you let go of fears and help you release the past, just remember, your emotions are at the forefront whether you know it or not.

please reply or reblog or dm me with responses to any or all these questions about an anti-psych/mad liberation forum (keeping in mind i have already decided to make it readable by all but postable only to those with an invite, provided to anyone who can agree with a foundational commitment to total liberation + radical autonomy):
- what forum subheadings would you be interested in? i already have theory + personal
- how would you feel about the forum being hosted by a free service like proboards? would you prefer a privately hosted server (not sure if i have the skill for this yet but we will see!)
- what approach would you like to see regarding medical advice? e.g someone tells another participant stop taking xyz med, to do dbt, to get acupuncture etc?
- what approach would you want to see towards preventing reactionary conspiracy theories from spreading? e.g a participant posts an article from dailymail "psychiatrists are purposefully getting kids addicted to adderall so they will be dependent on big pharma for life". how do we approach information without reifying peer reviewed articles as some sort of untouchable gold standard?
- what approach would you want to see towards ppl posting medicalized content, for lack of a better word? e.g a member posts a pubmed article "prolonged psychosis damages the prefrontal cortex in schizophrenic patients"
- what approach would you want to see towards ppl posting content while in crisis or seeking immediate support that the forum may not be able to provide? e.g a participant posts "i am sick of everything. nobody in my life wants to help me, they just want to drug me. can someone please call me my discord is ___" (obviously anyone contacting emergency services against another's will would be banned from the forum)
- what kind of moderation structure would you prefer?
