This infographic (which I've been publishing for Twitter followers since 2022) is for new viewers to find themselves in this great big circle of what I call "fandub whimsy". A guide to the works of the Pirate Theydy or the ClownHouse.

Titles that are closer to each-other imply association. The further a title is from the top, the more indirect the association is.

After some very eventful weeks of Jason’s debut as the Red Hood he takes a well deserved night off and decides to crash in one of his safe houses.

He did not count on one of the Bats finding him there.

So to keep his plans from being torpedoed entirely Jason goes with the split second decision of pretending he was held captive by the Red Hood.

For added context, when Sophie began throwing redesign ideas around there was a thought to lean harder into slurpees as an aesthetic choice, and I simply could not get the straw idea out of my head! It made more sense when the hair was all pink though :P

A couple people by that point had expressed interest in "soft-debuting" new designs through the Act Promptly art, and I included the straw (with Sophie's approval) because even if it doesn't end up being part of The Brand it's still cute and funny :)

Hi Sophie!! I noticed your little png tuber (idk it’s called that) that Ellie made had a straw on her head. Is that just a design choice from Ellie or is that a new thing your sona is going to have from now on? Either way I think extremely cute!!!

That was a design choice from Ellie!! It's so cute, I don't THINK I'll add it to my main sona design, but we'll see once I eventually get to the redesign I announced like a year ago Lol

Most of the nights, with eyebags as deep as the ocean, Wilbur haunts the dark gritty Pogtopia. Some of them he exhausts himself to sleep. Few of them spent trapped in a nightmare of betrayal and despair.

Those next mornings it wasn't uncommon for him to find himself wrapped in a blanket, his hand left tingly warm. Whether the action went unnoticed or not, Wilbur would speak nothing of those mornings.

Of course post-canon odysseus and penelope love each other (they are a little bit insane about the other. Neither is allowed to leave the others side for months after odysseus gets back. They cycle between sobbing on one and another and aggressively making out. ) but it's true that they have both changed. It's been twenty hard years after all. So

Odypen courting each other again just for the fun of it. Odypen deciding to act like teenagers again and make elaborate plans pretending to sneak into the others room.

Odysseus sending penelopes 90 year old dad a letter challenging him to a race for penelopes hand in marriage. (This does not go over well but penelope though it was hilarious)

Odysseus begging Athena to help him win penelopes heart/hand again. (Athena: What no why you're already married I don't understand you ) (she helps anyways)

Penelope weaving all of odysseus's clothes. Penelope hauling out every tapestry she made of telemachus's childhood (she made one for every year. To gift odysseus on his birthday when he returned.)

Odypen leaving telemachus incharge while they go off on dates (to harssass, cause problems, and badger other people into giving them things). It should be fine Athena has been sticking close to the house lately. And it's only for an afternoon anyways (at first. Headcanon that penelope came with odysseus when he had to go plant the oar and call it a windmill quest.)

A Refuge in the Afterlife?

DPxDC Crossover prompt

One day a message from space is sent to Earth, a call for assistance for the last survivors of a destroyed planet. The Justice League, of course, receive this message and a Team sets out to make contact with the group, ready to offer them whatever supplies they need and perhaps a location to rehome themselves.

Among this team would be one of the Green Lanterns, Guy or Hal, who are of course curious about why this group sought out Earth specifically instead of reaching out to the Corps? The answer to that question being quite simple:

To save the souls of their dead.

As it turns out, with the destruction of their Home World the survivors believe that not only are they at risk of becoming lost souls upon their own deaths, but the very Afterlife dimension that was attached to their world is at risk of ceasing to exist unless they find another world whose Afterlife can take theirs in as well, combing the two as one.

And wouldn't you know it, the surviving priests and/or mystics have received word from their endangered Ancestors that the Earth has a King of the Infinite Realms who may be willing to do just that. Once they reach the planet, they would be so grateful if the Justice League would be willing to help them petition this King for asylum for their people, both dead and alive.

The only problem?

This is the first time anybody from the League has even heard of this so-called King, and now everybody's scrambling to find out whatever they can about this being. And what little they are finding is nothing short of alarming. A mad tyrant who tried to invade the living world?! Yeah, they need to get on top of this fast, before the Refugees arrive!

Meanwhile, Danny just felt a shiver run up his spine and wonders if it's because his dad's latest batch of fudge came out a little too ecto-contaminated.

(Spoilers: it wasn't the fudge).

My personal Head-canon when it comes to the infinite Realms: the reason why we don't see any other religious figures or alien beings, is because Pariah Dark screwed up relations so bad with the other afterlife realms that the infinite realms has become largely cut off from everything else but Earth. Too much greed and trying to conquer shit to be considered a good neighbor, even by demon standards. Doesn't even matter that Pariah's been sealed away, it's still his dimension as long as he exists, and the absolutely hostile environment and denizens there prove it.

The word of today that inspired this post is Syncretism: (via wikipedia) the practice of combining different beliefs and various schools of thought. Syncretism involves the merging or assimilation of several originally discrete traditions, especially in the theology and mythology of religion, thus asserting an underlying unity and allowing for an inclusive approach to other faiths.
