"Sky, it's fine. Let's just go," Warriors whispered, one hand tightly gripping Sky's arm. Sky ripped his arm away and stepped fully in front of Warriors.

"No, it's not fine," Sky said over his shoulder. He turned to face the man in front of him.

"Do you have something to say about your hero?" Sky said loudly. The man and his friends sniggered, then he stood and rolled his shoulders.

"Hero," the man said sarcastically as he swayed on his feet. "I sure do."

His words were slurred and Sky could smell the alcohol from here. His meager self-preservation instincts were screaming at him to leave, but the heartbroken look on Warriors' face when he let his mask slip for a split second was burned into Sky's mind.

"This man risked his life for his kingdom. He sacrificed so much to save you, all of you! And this is how you repay that?" Sky said. He felt his hands shaking, righteous anger for his brother burning within him.

"Sky," Warriors hissed. Sky ignored him.

"You're a disgrace to the knighthood," Sky said.

"Who they hell do you think you are?" The man yelled. He threw his hands up and and shoved Sky with all his might. Sky barely felt it, and he only had to take a half step back to right himself. Warriors gasped and tensed beside him, but Sky put out an arm to settle him.

"I'll give you that one," Sky growled. "If you try anything else I won't hold back."

Hi friends! So I’ve got a long work shift ahead of me, and I forgot my earbuds somewhere I think, so I can’t listen to music or watch videos like I usually do. So instead, I thought maybe I’d do a writing exercise I did a while ago that I enjoyed. 

Drop a word into my ask box, any word at all, and I’ll write three sentences of a fic with it! I’ll be doing this off and on until 3 AM EST (so for the next four hours or so). ^u^

"I don't know what they're talking about. We're the pinnacle of health," Sky said sarcastically, lightly elbowing Legend in the side.

Legend scoffed. "I can think of four different parts of my body that don't work right off the top of my head. Four for you, too. That's not to mention the places that hurt all the time for no reason."

"Eh," Sky said, waving a hand. He dislodged the blanket wrapped around their shoulders. Legend reached a hand out, winced at the cold air, then tugged it tightly to his chest.

"At least no one ever denies me warm blankets and cuddles," Sky said softly. His words were breathy and ragged by the end of the sentence. He coughed roughly, then groaned and let his head fall onto Legend's shoulder. Legend adjusted the blanket more securely around Sky's shoulders.

"That's your secret, is it? All of this just for free hugs?" Legend asked.

"You got me," Sky said. Legend shook his head, biting back a smile.

I swear, nothing makes me go bonkers fucking yonkers quite like comparing Athena and Apollos' introductions to the WAA.

When Phoenix asked Athena to come work for the agency, he reached out overseas to get in contact and offer her a job. When Phoenix asked Apollo to come work for the agency, he didn't even mention what the business was called or what they actually did.

On Athena's first day in court, Phoenix showed up and took over for her when she started to break down. On Apollo's first day in court, Phoenix made him an accomplice in crime and almost ruined his career.

When Athena introduces her childhood best friend to the WAA, they get her cleared of murder charges and save a friendgroup. When Apollo tries to introduce his childhood best friend to the agency, he dies before that can even happen.

When Athena returns to the space center, she is greeted by the robots with open arms. When Apollo returns to the space center, he is greeted by the name of a dead man.

When Phoenix sought out Athena as a protégé, it was because he realized how much she was hurting. When Phoenix sought out Apollo as a protégé, its because he realized how much he could be used to hurt others.

see the only problem with safe ending is that Lotus didnt break Ace's nose when she punched him and I think that would have been very hot

Can't help but imagine that in the Lucky Clover AU, if Frisk were to manage to sneak away and end up befriending Undyne and the skelebros whilst everyone in the Dunes is probably having a panic attack (maybe Flowey caused a distraction or something, like some scaffolding collapsing causing everyone to focus on figuring out how that happened, giving Frisk the ability to sneak away), by the time Martlet finds them they've already managed to make the Underground a bit safer for at least themself.

Doesn't stop them from being grounded though-

That's exactly the plot set up I had in mind for this AU!

Even though Frisk is under very strict rules by Clover to not leave the Dunes without them, Frisk is constantly wandering off (perhaps influenced by a certain someone...) and exploring the other parts of the Underground. This is how Frisk eventually meets Papyrus, Sans, Undyne, Alphys, and others! And yes, Frisk is always grounded by Clover once they're eventually found and brought home. Doesn't stop them from sneaking out again, though. Clover is getting a taste of their own medicine trying to control this kid LOL.
