Hello!
Ok, so...if it wasn't a problem, do you have something you would like to share about "Accidental Ghost King Luigi"?
I saw that you mentioned it and it really caught my attention, a lot of thoughts came up when I finished Luigi's Mansion 3 and I love expanding them.
So most of the ideas were discussed here, but I can scrounge up some more.
TL;DR for this AU : E.Gadd passes away, leaving in his will everything he owns to Luigi, who is now probably the richest man in the mushroom kingdom between the estates, the cash and the employees, living or not. (Spoilers alert : once Luigi realizes exactly how much he owns, he freaks out so much he hides under his blanket for several hours, with Mario patting the bundle and occasionally slipping snacks under it).
Then once he calms down enough, he wants to give everything away but it turns out to not be that simple, explains the Toad in charge of giving the will to Luigi:
"What if I DON'T want all of this ??"
"I don't know about the ready money or the coffee shop, but by all ghost and Boo laws, you are the rightful master of these places that you earned through Right of Conquest until someone else comes to dethrone you."
And it turns out, yes, by beating King Boo three times, on his haunting ground, with the last time being a direct challenge to Luigi and his kin, Luigi effectively conquered him, with all of his ghosts and Boos. And King Boo was a very powerful ghost. Luigi is now King Luigi.
"Why was E.Gadd even the owner of these places then, he wasn't the one chasing ghosts there !"
"Oh, he wasn't the actual owner of anything: before the dark moon incident, the ghosts were not agressive and let him play around, and afterwards, he acted as your steward to maintain your domains in your absence"
"Wait, is that why King Boo keeps coming after me ? Not just by revenge?"
"Oh yes, definitely, you dethroned him three times, that's a bad number for a spirit."
Peach, who has to deal regularly with a king ruling over a place where 90% of roaylty dealings involve kidnapping : "oh, Luigi dear..."
Except E.Gadd comes back. As a ghost. And he's still obsessed with science, but now without any of these pesky mortal ethics or boundaries. To the point his experiences go from "eyebrow-raising in the methods but ultimately for the greater good" to "mad scientist except this one is perfectly aware of what his potential enemies can do and acts accordingly."
At first he seems relatively reasonable...until Luigi refuses to give him back Gooigi AND the rest of the ghosts, too. Maybe he has grown fond of his new "subjects", or maybe he senses giving E.Gadd full control of the ghosts is a bad idea.
"My boy, do you think you could use my own creations against me ? I know them better inside out than you can ever do !!"
E.Gadd doesn't take it well.
E.Gadd is now very curious and vindicative towards this meddling new Ghost King who dares to get in the way of his research.
E.Gadd issues a challenge. And by challenge we mean that he takes possession of Luigi's territories. Probably kidnaps Mario & co, AND Polterpup (he knows how to capture ghosts, and he knows how helpful the ghost pup is to Luigi). Oh, and he steals and breaks all existing Poltergusts.
Now Luigi is stuck in a dangerous place with a mad ghost after him, unarmed, alone...except for King Boo, still stuck in his container, that he managed to grab on the way out of the laboratory.
King Boo is angry at Luigi for stealing his title, but he certainly isn't going to let the professor beat HIS nemesis!! What will the rest of the spectral community say if the one who defeated him loses his new title so fast?? Luigi isn't sure about the logic behind this reasoning, but he'll take any help he can get.
So now it's the team up of the century, and by that I mean King Boo snarking and loudly complaining from his container, asking again and again to be let out, while Luigi tries to survive and to keep KB inside the container (he has enough on his plate, he doesn't want another mad ghost after him); all while KB actually guides Luigi through the mysteries of ghosts and spectres, as well as the intricacies of the Ghost King title. But even after King Boo manages to get out of the container at some point, he still sticks by Luigi. You can guess why.
A Very Important Plot Point: King Boo gets frustrated by how much time Luigi takes and decides to shove some spectral power in him to level the field.
That's a fun surprise : King Boo's spectral essence boosts up Luigi's Thunderhand (that he had stopped using due to how taxing it was on his body; but now the Boo power helps circumventing this energy tax). KB acts as the new "source" and makes it way more potent, especially given his own affinity with lightning.
"Isn't that cheating ?"
"Have you even MET ME ??? Here, have some of my power, it should AT LEAST give you a boost so you won't die right after touching a gho-"
*huge thunderbolt crashing on the house frizzing everything electrical device*
"....WHAT WAS THAT"
"Uh....it never did that before."
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN "IT NEVER DID THAT BEFORE ?? YOU COULD HAVE TOLD ME YOU HAD LATENT MAGICAL ABILITIES!!?? WHY DID YOU NEVER USE THEM AGAINST ME !!!???"
Later, when they manage to free Mario, KB eyes Mario suspiciously for a loooong moment as both brothers look in hope.
Then he shrugs : "Nah, not gonna happen"
"What?? Why ??"
"It's more fun if Luigi gets my power, he's my nemesis. Just ask Bowser to lend you fire powers next time you see him"
"That's ridiculous, with everything at stake..."
"More seriously, you are NOT my nemesis. You did NOT deal with my powers as intimately as Luigi did"
"Don't put it that way please"
"Even if I wanted to provide you power, Mario is much weaker to my powers, he wouldn't be able to harness them."

Dc x Dp Prompt #6
“I’m a twin”, Damian said one night. He could feel the narrowed eyes of his family drilling holes on his back in disbelief. Not that he could blame them. Damian had never so much as implied being raised with a companion, much less a sibling.
“I had a brother”. Damian paused to recollect himself. He had not said his brother’s name out loud in over 8 years.
“His name was… Danyal”. Damian hated the way his voice wavered, but he could not help it. Danyal was everything to him, his other half. Their heart beat as one and when one heart stopped beating, the other one died with it. At least until his family put his heart on metaphorical life support without ever realizing.
“Where is he now?” His father asked, voice filled with knowing grief and a hint of betrayal. It had in fact been 6 years since Damian first showed up on his doorstep.
“Up there”. All eyes shifted towards the specific star he was pointing to. “Right before he died, he promised me he’d guide me from the stars. Unfortunately, the stars are not visible in Gotham, so my brother is unable to be of much help unless I leave the city.”
“Your brother is Polaris, the North Star?” Tim questioned warily, most likely in attempts to not offend him. Damian was aware of how stupid it sounded, but Danyal had promised, and his brother never broke his promises.
“Yes. Danyal is with the stars now, just as he always wanted”

don't you want to be a cult leader? - danyal al ghul au
this is mostly a joke post but i thought it was funny and had to share so--
his first mistake was, obviously, inheriting his father's inability to see an injustice and stand still. -- actually, danyal's first mistake was his lair being so big. a mountainous island with a large temple in the center resembling his old home in Nanda Parbat? With sprawling foliage and rivers and streams and waterfalls galore? What was he going to do with all that space? Let it go to waste? He had plants there! Native trees of the ghost zone growing from the soil! He couldn't let it all be left unchecked!
So naturally after helping a fellow teenage assassin ghost -- who he later learns is named Akihiko, -- from Walker of all people, he sent them over to hang low at his lair until it was safe enough for them to wander around the Zone. Walker couldn't get through Danyal's astrofield if his life depended on it, and trust him -- he's tried. Danny was clearing out debris from his stupid transport vans for weeks.
Honestly it wasn't so bad, he and Aki really quickly became fast friends and Danny loves having a sparring partner close to his level again -- he hasn't had this much fun fighting since he left the League. Aki was very dedicated and levelheaded, the both of them clicked really well because of it.
Nonono, the real trouble began after Danyal met some long-passed League members and allowed them to come join his island as well. Apparently they had made a few enemies of the zone, and maybe Danyal still felt some loyalty to the League. He couldn't just let them be left to rot. Their zealotry could be overlooked so long as they kept it contained and helped him take care of his island.
And it.. snowballs from there? He meets a teen squire aptly calling himself Ambroise -- whether that was his living name or not is yet to be seen -- who died during feudal france, who is just about as dramatic and passionate as every french stereotype makes them out to be. He calls Danyal "my moon and great muse" -- which is both flattering and little uncomfortable, but Danyal's grown up in the League as the Grandson of the Demon Head, he is used to mild worship. he passes it off as nothing more, nothing less. -- and while his energy is overwhelming on the worst of days, he helps Danny draw out of his shell more in ways that Sam and Tucker still struggle with.
Him and Aki butt heads a lot, but the two seem to hold the other in at least some positive regard, so Danny doesn't worry too much about them fighting while he's gone. It only becomes a mild issue when Aki also begins calling Danny "my moon". It's a little sweet, so Danyal brushes it off.
Then he takes in a troupe of ghosts some time after he defeats Pariah Dark and they begin calling him "great one" just as the yetis do in the far frozen. This is where he meets the twins -- a pair of sibling ghosts who call themselves Trixie and Missy (short for Trick and Mislead) -- who aren't quite as passionate as Ambroise but more energetic than Aki. Eventually they also start calling Danyal "my moon" and attach themselves to his hip, even within the living. They like to hide in his shadow and cause trouble for the rest of the students. He makes sure they don't hurt anyone.
He's pretty sure Aki is jealous, same with Ambroise, but he can't be too certain other than the fact that they become much more lingering (re: clingy) whenever he visits the island.. Something he's trying to do much more often these days due to the increasing amount of people living there now. Since when did he become so popular?
Then there's Pēnelópeia from the Greater Athens, who ran away from home and joined his Island after he ran into her while she was being chased by Skulker -- and he's pretty sure the reason was because of her chimeric appearance. Her strange eyes and mismatched wings and lion's tail and talons. She assimilates into his friend group very easily, she gets along well with Ambroise and Trixie and Danny usually finds the three of them climbing the trees to pluck the most fruit from the top. They can fly and he knows it, but they prefer to climb.
Then finally there's silent poet Akkara who comes from ancient mesopotamia, who gets along most with Aki -- which is no surprise there considering their similar personality dispositions. he watches Aki and Danyal fight each other and leaves comments on this or that that he notices. He writes Danyal poems on clay tablets and leaves them by his room.
They're one big mismatched group of outcasts, and Danny's got the other ghosts on his island to tend to, because they're living on his island and he wants to be hospitable even if he struggles with that. But he spends the most of his time with them.
Sam and Tucker are making fun of him. Tucker jokingly tells him 'careful Danny, at this rate you're gonna start a cult'. Danny really wishes he had taken that joke more seriously.
He just. keeps. collecting people. Wayward souls lost in the zone, looking for shelter or refuge from something or other -- whether that be another hostile ghost, or a past afterlife, or just a purpose. Danyal finds them, he takes them in, offers them a place on his island until they are ready to leave. Many seldom do. He's not complaining -- he has the space, and it feels like it's only ever growing.
His close friends, his "inner circle" as he's heard the others call them, keep insistently calling him "my moon". He starts calling them his stars, because then it only feels fair. They're his stars, this is his constellation. It becomes a thing; little star halos begin forming behind their heads, picking them out from the rest. He loves them so much, it's hard to place. Sam and Tucker are also his stars, but they reside in the living realm, they're his tie to Life. Meanwhile, his friends here know what it's like to be dead, and sometimes its nice to relate.
Those living on his island keep calling him "Great One" and he's beginning to notice zealotry in their care for his island. He really, deeply appreciates it. His close friends gain nicknames -- as his stars, it's only natural for him to pick them out from the cluster in the skies. Akihiko, his Sirius and bright star. Trix and Missy, Castor and Pollux, the twins and troublemakers. Ambroise, his zealous Antares and close friend. Penelopeia, chimeric and loyal Vega. And Akkara, his Arcturus and strength.
It's ridiculous how long it takes for him to notice; he is, of course, a deadly trained assassin. He is meant to be observant -- and normally he is! But somehow this becomes a blind spot. One that becomes too big to be dealt with by the time he realizes it.
He should've noticed when Aki, his Sirius, stood beside him one day while Danyal looked over his island and saw the sprawling spirits carrying on about their afterlife and bowing to him as they saw him, and said: "I looked down into the depths when I met you; I couldn't measure it." They aren't one for flowing prose, it took him so off guard he was silent for over a minute before he finally spoke.
Danyal should've recognized devotion for what it is, and yet he didn't. He should've recognized it when Antares began spouting praises about him, crowing about his radiance and resplendence to the heavens. He just brushed it off as Ambroise being Ambroise. He should've recognized it when Trix and Missy nearly broke Dash's leg after he knocked Danyal's books out of his hands, he excused it as them being protective. Of them coming from times where such violence may have been customary -- after all, that's what he used to be like. What he was still like, sometimes, when his emotions nearly got the better of him.
He should've noticed it when the people living on his island followed his word like gospel, looked at him like he hung the stars in the sky. When his friends gifted him a shawl with the moon phases delicately embroidered into it, with silver, shimmering thread and moving stars lovingly stitched into it. Their constellations seen clear as day in the dark fabric. When he found small shrines dedicated to him -- but they lacked any image of him beyond stones carved to look like moons, so he ignored it. When the religious imagery began popping up.
He really, really should've noticed it when a bunch of cultists accidentally summoned Antares, and Antares had turned to him when he arrived and called them heretics. But he was so centered on the fact that they had kidnapped one of his stars, that he hadn't paid much attention to what Ambroise had said.
Sages say that faith is blind, they should also say faith in you is even blinder.
It really only hits him one afternoon while he's sitting in Sam's room studying with Tucker, Missy and Trixie lounging at his feet, Aki sat on his right, Penelopeia braiding his hair, Ambroise draped against him, and Akkara lurking over him. Its one of the rare few times they're all in one room together.
It hits him like a bolt of lightning. He looks up from his textbook. "Oh Ancients," he says in no amounting shock. Everyone looks up to him.
"I've become my grandfather."

saw the ask about Immortal Husbands AU and realized i haven't dropped my messy fucking ghost marriage headcanons anywhere.
-Sam and Danny work out, they get married. they eventually deal with an amicable divorce for varying reasons, BUT, over in the Ghost Zone, things agitate, Danny becomes new Ghost King
-somewhere in the process of doing this, he and Vlad end up working together, and Danny tries to give him some sort of official title or position so he knows Danny is grateful for the continued attempts at redemption.
-oops accidental marriage
-"They think I'm married to Vlad?! WHY do they think I'm married to Vlad?! And why does everyone think it was on PURPOSE"
"Might have something to do with the kids you just made legitimate."
"The WHAT"
-yeah they're talking about Danielle and their dark future fusion living in a Danny clone.
-what do you mean genetically they're only Danny the fuck does that have to do with baby ghosts
-Sam finds it fucking HILARIOUS
-Vlad and Danny, less so, because hey actually they kind of have been craving a domestic relationship to each other for a long time
-oh hey this is everything they wanted in a relationship what the hell
-Sam and Danny had a kid, she is actually super stoked to have older (and younger, sooner than later) siblings who GET these ghost powers she inherited (and being a spooky ghost princess)
-Sam is never going to stop being amused by joking about their new relationships after all this shakes out
-Vlad was considering retiring to the Ghost Zone anyway so no one notices he stopped. yknow. aging. doing that while getting power AND domesticity with his family??? maybe he should have baby trapped Daniel earlier
-Danny does not think EITHER of them are as funny as they think they are.
-they very much disagree
ASDLKJFHASLDKJF I love this. Danny does exactly one (1) nice thing for Vlad as a gesture of truce and the next thing he knows he's got a husband and two more kids—and he. Kinda likes it. Fuck.

Sterek Dead Boy Detectives AU: Derek and Stiles are detectives, taking on the cases with supernatural connections that the living aren’t capable of handling. They extinguish supernatural threats and helping lost souls find peace and move on to the afterlife… oh, and they’re dead.
Both boys never found peace, never moved on. Now they are on the run from Death, trying to help others find their peace.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
A client contacts them to help her friend, Lydia, a clairvoyant who’s possessed by a demon.
They are able to exorcise the demon, but Lydia is left with no memories and no idea who she is except for her name. While Stiles and Derek argue about whether or not they let her stay with them (because the dead shouldn’t interact with the living), Lydia picks up a missing child poster and has a vision. The child is alive.
Tumblr media
Lydia teams up with the boys to help them find the child, but things take a turn when Stiles uses magic on a cat, a misdemeanour that the Cat King demands he answer for. His punishment? He is trapped in Beacon Hills until he counts all the cats. That wouldn’t be too bad if they hadn’t also pissed off a witch. And, on top of that, they’re still hiding from Death.

Accidental Ghost King AU : The Return
Since y'all voted for it.
For a refresher, go there and also there , because @featherandpetals's ideas are such good additions to this AU that I can't not include them!
So some ideas to expand on that verse :
First of all, "ghost" is an umbrella term that encompasses ghosts created from dead mortals (most of the ghosts in LM games) and ghosts created through other methods, like dead energy given consciousness (Boos, Duplighosts, etc...). All have ectoplasmic energy/magic/auras, although it's expressed in different forms.
There is more than one Ghost King in the Mushroom world. All gained that title on the same principle : Right of Conquest+beating an existing Ghost King on their haunting ground several times + establishing themselves with a Gem Crown. Don't ask where the first Ghost Kings came from, they can't remember themselves.
Technically, mortals can become Ghost Kings. You can fight a ghost with magic or technology, and there have been mortal Ghost Kings in the past, although very, very rarely. The thing is, just beating a Ghost King isn't enough to claim their title, you need to have a specific aura/energy to be acknowledged as a "challenger" by ghosts : to give an example, anyone strong enough can kill the male of a lion pride, but the lionesses won't mate with the victor unless he looks, smells and feels like a male lion. And most mortals don't have that specific aura that marks them as "ghost", even honorary. Except That Little Green Guy. Because of course he does. Luigi has such a Weird Presence (all of the weird powers he displays in many games) that he's completely acknowledged as a paranormal being by any ghost, and it only got worse with each of his bouts against King Boo, slowly increasing his spectral abilities. And later with the boost of King Boo, it gets only stronger and weirder.
(Realizing his technology was only partly responsible for Luigi's victories on King Boo might have driven E.Gadd slightly insane toward the end of his life)
So yes, Luigi IS a Ghost King, whether he likes it or not. HOWEVER. Another thing that makes a Ghost King is their Crown : both a source and conduct of spectral energy and magic, only growing stronger over the years, and most of all emphasizing their status over their subjects. It's not just about the symbolism : the magic of the king bleeds from the crown and their subjects can feel that power.
Fun fact : as Luigi (and Mario) learn during the E.Gadd adventure, Toads have that in common with ghosts : their ruler's powers are canalized in their crown or tiara, like Peach's, and other Toad Princesses can appear if they own a proper Crown (yes I included the Super Crown here, shh). Conversely, as Bowser loudly remarks, Koopas don't bother with such baubles : the Power of the Ruler is expressed through their fire and physical strength, and they carry it for all to see at anytime.
I love the plan @featherandpetals had for this story, but I would just change the fact that it takes place only over a couple of days. Instead, I would spread it over several days, with each "phase" of the story (getting to Peach's castle, researching, rescuing Mario , Mario going to Bowser for help, fending off E.Gadd and his ghosts..) takes each some days, giving more time for the characters to learn to work together, especially King Boo and...everyone else. Maybe instead of capturing Boos, this time the goal is to rescue them from E.Gadd.
During that time, while he's contained, King Boo has time to ponder. And observe. And think. He sees how Luigi interacts with his Boos, despite having been their enemy before. He could mock the change in heart born from necessity...but hasn't he done worse, by sending his subjects to their doom, despite being their King ? And Luigi intrigues him more and more. The human is wimpy. Cowardly. Frustratingly stubborn when he decides something is worth fighting for. Yet hidden under this shaking and stumbling, there's something that makes KB realize Luigi is a worthy contender for the title of Ghost King. His kindness, yes yes, but other darker feelings that yet never threaten to bury the plumber, like so many would. Instead used as shields for the others.
I love this trope and this ship is made for it, sue me, but : at some point during one of the final battles against E.Gadd and his troops, King Boo has to posses Luigi to save his life...but somehow, instead of KB being the only one in charge, Luigi gets a hand on the wheel as well. Another moment of Luigi's Weirdness manifesting. Maybe a residual from sharing consciousness with Gooigi .It's very clumsy and awkward at first, but they manage to make for a terrifying force once they get their bearings.

Oh oh OOOOOOH, I LOVE your ideas :D!!!
The story/game starting in media res with Luigi escaping with King Boo, brillant, this is everything I could ask for ! As well as the daytime hours serving as “safe time” !
If we go with the story playing as a video game, King Boo would be the most insufferable tutorial guide. Sneering and bullying Luigi through learning the basics of ghost fighting without poltergust. Daytime would serve as preparation, gathering supplies, learning patterns, placing traps, that kind of things, and once night falls...it’s a marathon until next morning, with E.Gadd growing wiser to Luigi’s tactics each night. In gameplay mechanics : Peach’s castle serves as a hub/safe place in the morning; that’s where they train, plan the next night and decide where to go from there. Then at nightfall, you move to one of the various mansions of the franchise (and some more!), each with their own specifics and layouts. Maybe as the “game” progresses, some areas open or close, and some allies or enemies can be gained...
(kinda ironic that the mission-based gameplay was what I disliked most about LM2, and yet here I am imagining a mission-based gameplay for an imaginary LM5 XD)
Story-wise, I really like this idea of Peach being Luigi’s safest ally when it comes to dealing with royal stuff AND ghosts! (I see that part about Peach being stronger than she appears, nice touch ^^) I’m curious of how Mario and Bowser would help, they’re both very “physical” characters, not the best assets when dealing with the paranormal.
Very interesting ideas about KB’s relationships and his Boos! Him stopping to protect them from E.Gadd would also explain why there are less and less as the series went on, they’re getting tired of his bullshit (and even more as Luigi keeps beating him, slowly cementing his status as a worthy Ghost King).
In contrast, Luigi would be such a sweet Ghost King ! I always headcanon him as very friendly with non-hostile ghosts (Polterpup, Morty, the credits ghosts in LM2 and LM3), so if the Boos started to flock to Luigi for protection, he would make his best to keep them safe. King Boo watches from his jar half-jealous, half-longing to rekindle such connection with his subjects.
I am also extremely curious about your ideas for LM4 ! In Sarasaland no less! That promises to be interesting!
This is a more extended response for this post:
The basic premise is E Gadd had died (for my story idea, some time after LM4), and Luigi then finds out about his will as well as a title he accidentally gained from ghost hunting for E Gadd.
I was thinking that the story starts off with a bang. Luigi in E Gadd's old lab running away from the chaos with King Boo. I had King Boo in a smaller container, likely from E Gadd putting him in one. It's also fairly sturdy to keep King Boo from escaping easily, so it's heavy for Luigi carrying him out.
I am playing with the idea that ghosts don't generally wander during the day, so this will play as a safe time for the story. With Luigi driving away with King Boo, the daylight stops E Gadd from chasing after them for the time being.
At Luigi's mansion is where we learn through King Boo and Luigi's conversation of how everything transpired to why Luigi needed KB's help. Starts off with the will that everything E Gadd had was left to Luigi and the title "Ghost King" with everything that follows it. Both the toad that is telling him and Luigi have limited knowledge of what the conquest entails that Luigi beats KB 4 times at this point.
E Gadd did surprise Luigi one night being a ghost now. They started off friendly enough since they did know each other. It wasn't until Luigi learned that E Gadd was obsessive with science. Ghosts were not enough for the mad scientist that he was interested in the living as well.
Luigi refused and thought it was the end of it when E Gadd seemed to be fine by it and left. It was not until the next morning that Luigi finds a broken poltergist at the table and a note from E Gadd declaring a conquest against him for the title.
Luigi figured KB is his best bet, but he doesn't trust the master of illusionist, so he went to Peach's castle with KB (rather grumpy that he's going against his will). There's a short moment where KB demands that Luigi cover the capsule, so the sun doesn't hit him.
They have a short conversation on the drive there.
They arrive to the castle and Luigi asked KB to be quiet. He didn't want the toads to be interested in the cloth covered capsule KB was in. KB relents and was listening to the toads either ignoring or being rude to Luigi. Once they got to the room Peach is in, Luigi reveals KB to her...and had a moment freak out when the capsule appeared to be empty.
KB gleefully surprised them by turning visible and tried to get Luigi to drop it. (KB had been on a few occasion demands to be let out followed usually by headbutting it to try and make it fall.) While Luigi struggles to keep the capsule from falling, he was in luck when Peach took it instead. She carried it with ease and placed KB on the table, shocking both of them.
They talked about how things got to where they are and Luigi asking for help with looking up ghost things in the library. Once it was decided, Peach offered to bring KB and all three walked to the library. KB commented that he now sees why Bowser liked Peach, surprising both of them. He explains that he had an alliance with him years ago before it broke off.
Some notes:
KB shakes (like his form is having trouble staying visible or sharp edged) whenever E Gadd is talked about too long. He had E Gadd direct his attention to himself after LM1 to protect the boos. Whenever he was alone, he was quietly plotting against both E Gadd and Luigi. Once he got the second gem, revenge against E Gadd and Luigi became a priority and everything else was second or lower. He had plenty of boos to help because they also do not like E Gadd and Luigi. KB lost their support after LM2 due to no longer protecting them from E Gadd. Since Helen freed KB for LM3, the gem she provided was not as strong as LM2's. He mostly stand in the background assisting Helen.
I have decided that LM4 takes place in sarsaland due to a post I read somewhere (will add it later). This may or may not be relevant to the story.
Most ghost facts and misc things are from E Gadd's work with a few ancient texts.
I have also decided that Mario and Bowser can help out in the story as well which is later when Mario is freed from E Gadd and E Gadd proved to be too much for combined forces of Luigi and KB.

Out of Context Stuff for a Danyal Al Ghul au i haven't posted - Pit Beast Danyal
Damian, 13: Look, Danyal, -- I am so sorry for everything that happened between us in the League, I hope you can forgive me.
Danny, 10 (allegedly): (has been secretly plotting to murder Damian this whole time, is still gonna do it obvs, but is going to make it significantly less painful now)
Danny: I-- of course, older brother. :]
--------
Bruce: what do you have there, Damian?
Damian:
Danny: (a hulking 10ft pit beast standing beside him, growling idly with ram horns gouging out his eyes and a second set of horns jutting into the air, spines down his back, and a long, spiked tail with an animalistic, skull-like face)
Damian, who smuggled him in (they've made amends): a smoothie, father
----------
Damian: this is my little brother Danyal, i murdered him when he was five. He festered in rage for the last half-a decade, took over a League mountain base in Switzerland, murdered everyone inside and then tried to murder me when I went to investigate with Drake.
Danny: hello!
Damian: we're cool now
----------
Damian: thoughts on resurrection
Danny, (a full ghost): i will succeed in murdering you if you try it
Damian: we'll put a pin in it then
----------
Danny (still instilled with League values): why don't we just murder him??
Damian, on patrol (Danny followed him): we don't murder people, Danyal
Danyal:,,,,are you sick, Dami?? Have you been possessed? Why not!?
(There is raucous laughing through the comms)
----------
Danny, five, pre-death: Dami! :D
Danny, dead, vengeful: Older brother (:
Danny, post-forgiveness: Dami! :]
-------
For some actual context: Danny is fully dead in this au, its a result of the classic DPxDC Demon Twins "death duel" trope but instead of Danny getting revived, he stays fully dead. Danny was five, Damian was seven. His ghost lingered though, and due to the proximity of the pits his ghost steadily absorbed the ambient energy it was letting off. The pits are not corrupted ectoplasm in this au, it's just liquid ecto.
Which means Danny's corruption from an angry and hurt little ghost boy to an unrecognizable monster is from his own doing. It's a result of him stewing in his hurt and anger for years, it physically warped him. He's very powerful. Danny can travel between League Bases but chose a small, out-of-the-way base in the Swiss mountains to fester in and then just. Never Left.
His influence steeped into the very foundations of the building, allowing him to transform and warp the rooms and hallways for his own bidding, Meaning he could turn it into a seemingly unending labyrinth if he so wished to, and block the entrance.
Eventually, blinded (both metaphorically and physically) by his own rage, Danny grew powerful enough to appear physically in the living realm and attacked everyone in the base, slaughtering them all and leaving the base abandoned. He attacks anyone who dares enter -- whether that be other league members, or the unfortunate hiker who stumbled across the base. His conscious is steeped into every nook and cranny of the building, there is nowhere you can hide where he can't find. Nobody leaves without his explicit say so. Nobody ever does.
Him appearing as ten years old before Damian in the skits above is his own physical doing. First it was to prevent Damian from being suspicious of him. Damian initially thought Danny was revived with the pits, he was too busy with his own training afterwards to notice that Danny never showed up again, and when he did notice, he assumed it was because Danny was too ashamed of his loss to face him. He'd always forget to ask about him.
Then it becomes a personal choice to appear as ten. It's how old he would've been had he been alive.
danny forgiving Damian is kinda for an offshoot branch of the main au. Whereas the main au takes the form of a ps4 first person horror game where Damian and Tim are investigating the Base for Plot Reasons. There's no sign of the rumored "monster" living inside until the end, where Danny, who was found inside the Base and has been happily "helping" them look around, manages to persuade Damian into splitting off from Tim in order to "show him something."
This something turns out to be Danny revealing that he never really forgave Damian for that fight, and he reveals through a horrifying transformation, that he was the monster the whole time. Which the game subtly hints at throughout as Danny's strange behavior becomes harder to ignore.
First from his insistence to only refer to Damian as "older brother" (when before the duel he always called him Damian or Dami), to him right off the bat denying the existence of a monster when questioned. ("There's no monster here, older brother. It's just me.") To other various things, like his knowledge of the outside world not matching up to modern times or things going on with the league outside of the base, or what happened to the other league members.
This whole idea was inspired by the song "Scylla" from Epic the Musical, with Danyal being the voice of Scylla as well as Odysseus, while Damian stands as Eurylochus. The instrumentals after Scylla says "hello" is him turning into the pit beast, and Scylla's "drown in your sorrow and fears" part is danny, as the pit beast, snarling at Damian while he attacks him.
There's a Good Ending, a Bad Ending, and a True Ending. The Bad Ending results in Damian being killed by Danny, it happens when Damian decides not to question or suspect Danny and treats him kindly. The Bad Ending is a cutscene, where Danny kills Damian quick and painlessly.
Meanwhile the Good Ending is Damian killing Danny. This is a boss fight, and it happens when Damian treats Danny coldly and suspiciously the whole time. Danny as a result, decides to make Damian's death painful as he had planned to, which is why it's a boss fight because it only causes him to double down on his anger.
The True Ending is Damian escapes with Tim. It happens when you treat Danny warmly up until the last minute, where when Danny proposes to Damian that he wants to show him something, Damian goes to talk to Tim and finally, reluctantly agrees that something is off with Danny, and that he'll be careful going in. It starts off with the boss fight until a third through, where it then changes to a cutscene where Tim manages to get the door open and Damian escapes out. It's then a chase scene down a never-ending hallway as the building actively works to keep you trapped inside. But you eventually make it to the exit so long as you avoid all the projectiles and doors.
Remember when I mentioned that Danny only lets people leave when he wants them to? That's where the treating Danny kindly throughout the game comes into play. It causes him to second guess himself and, eventually, reawaken and strengthen the love and admiration he had for Damian prior to his murder. It's why in the Bad Ending he kills Damian quickly -- because by then, he loves him enough that he doesn't want him to suffer, but is still so consumed by his rage and need for vengeance that he kills him anyways. That quiet part is what allows Damian (and Tim) to find the exit, because some part of Danny still loves Damian enough that he wants him to live.
The True Ending ends with a cutscene of Damian and Tim tumbling out into the snow/grass outside of the base. Damian looks up back to the entrance to see Danny standing there. But rather than a ten year old boy, there's a little five year old Danyal Al Ghul instead. He stares at Damian emotionlessly, blood seeping from his chest, staining his clothes, and little, bloody sword in his hands and tearstains on his cheeks, before he turns away and disappears back into the building.
#dpxdc#danny fenton is not the ghost king#danyal al ghul au#danny phantom#dpxdc crossover#dp x dc#dp x dc crossover#dpdc#pit beast danny#danyal al ghul#dpxdc au#damian and danny forgiveness route is kinda like a post-true ending idea where damian decides to return to the base and find a way to help#danny.#and also because nobody in that fucking family processes grief in any kind of sane way he is also plotting a way to resurrect his dead#brother with the lazarus pits. he just needs to find where he was buried. and also hopefully get danny's permission. he's gonna do it anywa#but it'll be nicer if danny agrees to it beforehand. that way danny isn't angry with him when he eventually revives him#also if tim dies at any point during the game you have to restart to your last save point. there's not many opportunities for him to becaus#danny is honestly not that interested in him but its still there. some details for the game: danny's pit beast model has the highest#resolution out of everything there. meanwhile his human model has the lowest. he also lacks a shadow and his voice carries a strange echo#that's subtle enough to sound like an accidental audio mistake. his voice gets more warped as the good ending progresses and becomes more#human during both the true and bad ending. it indicates his forgiveness and growing care for damian. while in the good ending he gradually#grows more pissed.#danny has shit eyesight as a result of his eyes being gouged out for years. but since he's literally one with the building he doesn't#need any help walking through it. he can travel it with his eyes closed. if he's anywhere else though he needs to be holding onto something#he also has one eye covered in bandages in his ten year old form because he can't get that eye to heal and look human.

Ghost King Phantom answers a summons to a new dimension to find a sacrificial offering in three magic circles. One, holding Bizarro, another holding Artimus and the one in front holding Red Hood.
Phantom has no idea who these people are, but he knows the people in charge must be powerful mages or whatever. Doesn't matter. None of the mages hes ever had to face had known about his Halfa status so naturally thier wards and protections wouldn't work on him. He captures the kid with a naselly voice and his orange cat in a force field to give to Jazz later. She had been talking about wanting to study the psychology of a supernatural being for a while now so he'd help her out.
He made quick work of the other mages before turning around and facing the "sacrifices" the two in the back were still out cold but the one in front, the one in the red helm was radiating terror and rage. He was shaking even though Phantom hadn't done anything to him and had no intentions to. Danny landed outside the circle, trying to whisper something conforting as he stepped closer.
The moment he stepped into the ring however, the red runes turned into a bright green and the three circles disappeared. Danny didn't feel any different so he assumed it was nothing and he freed the captives before disappearing, none the wiser that Klarion the Witchboy had made a few translation mistakes in the slave contract and accidentally married a terrified Red Hood to Phantom, the High King of the Undead and King of the Lazarus dimension, also known as the Infinite Realms.
Danny probably learns he married that guy at some point but just kinda shrugs it off. Polygamy is legal in the realms and thier marriage doesn't change much. Sure, Danny is practically contractually obligated to save this guy if he's ever in mortal peril but Danny has no problems with that. He'd do it anyway.
So he just ignores the situation hoping it doesn't come up again.
It does.
Repeatedly.
I'm so surprised we don't have more Dead on Main ghost king marriage aus where Jason/the pit inside of him is terrified of Phantom. Let's change that

As per Tradition and also just the most common I can make on the spot:
Lily: Death.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
As the flower landed on where it would summon, the room's temperature dropped, a chill that made even wonder woman shiver, it's as though winter itself came to visit as green tinted ice slowly traced along the pillars of the walls and eventually reconnect to each other at the ceiling, at the center of the circle the flower burned a bright neon green.
"Oh Bloody Hell..." Constantine heaved under his breath and cursed even more inside his mind, completely regretting every life choices he'd made to lead up to this.
Bruce was frozen, both trying to process the current situation and also trying to plan out how to possibly stop this threat that might just emerge from this cultist circle.
The fire within the lily burned brighter and larger and as it slowly was replaced with thick chilling smog they saw bright neon eyes staring at them. What they didn't expect to see was a teenager in an all royal attire, He doesn't even look older than 16. His cape that replicate the Aurora borealis and his flaming crown that reflects the 'galaxies'. He had bluish darker/paler skin with freckles that resembles constellations on the starry sky. Yet there's concerning scars that populate his body, a Lichtenberg scar tracing from right side face to his neck and to possibly his chest or back as to what they can see. The teenager(?) Infront of them looked puzzled, confused but there was a hint of annoyance in his eyes as he looked around.
"Oh come on... Not again. I thought I stopped it this time. What kind of technique did you use no—" He paused and stared at Constantine.
"How i wish I could kill myself right at this moment, Next time you deal with cultists shit just call Zatanna. Not me. Not anymore. I can't believe I even still help you Batsy." John Huffed(?) nervously as he tried to avert his gaze away from the Teenager's(Bat isn't sure if he's actually a teenager or not?) Glare.
"Sad Trenchcoat man, John Constantine, why in the fuckery Fuck have you called me today? And why you of all people?" The being scoffed with a hint of annoyance.
".... Hnn.." Batman Grunted and Scowled at John, "Okay Big Bat but I didn't know it would summon HIM of all people and yes i do know him, he does know me, practically he'll own me after I die anyways but that's not the point right now, the point is that is the mother fuckin ghost King and I AM NOT dealing with this anymore." He raises his hands, totally done with everything and everyone.
"Yeah, Yeah, Ghost King, whatever." The teenager laughed sarcastically and motioned his hand, the Ice and frost among the surroundings slowly settled back to him as if he's absorbing the cold.
"Pardon my.... Truly unacceptable Entrance. Name's Phantom..." He smiled an almost too wide grin, sharp canines with his smug smile felt too terrifying. "And no. I don't intend to be a threat or want to be a threat. Now Care to tell me why and how the fuck I was summoned in this... Creepy place?? And I should really get back to my sister after this before she freaks out and start spam calling that Dan..." He looks around and then back at them all keeping that awful wide grin in place.
"I hate this job." Constantine sighed under his breath.

My hands hurt from writing this on the spot- *sob*
God Summoning 101- DCxDP Prompt
"Don't. Touch. Anything." Constantine said firmly looking at the alter.
Recently there had been activity of dark magic users had been reported in this cave system and as expected it was full of cultists. They had discovered the writings of an ancient god or demon and started worshipping it. They had intended to summon it when the Justice League got involved after people started going missing. Currently, the captives who are thankfully all alive are being evacuated from the underground.
Constantine was here to study the alter and find the true name of the creature that the cultists call the "Infinite God."
"Looks deceptively simple. You place an offering and the guy shows up to fulfill your wish." Constantine said reading the sigils "That is if they want to."
"Its can't be that simple. There has to be a catch." Batman said coming back inside after helping the captives into the hands of the officers.
"The only catch I can see is that the god cares a lot about what the offering is and the person giving it. They seem to not respond to just anyone. My concern are the epithets." Constantine said deep in thought.
"The what?" Superman asked glancing over Constantine's shoulder.
"The title. Every god has many. Its specifies what vertion of the god you are appealing to. Even Aphrodite had a warrior counterpart. You must specify whether you are asking Apollo for inspiration, light or health." Wonder Woman chided.
"Yes, same goes here. Getting the right version of this god seems to depend on the offering. But these stupid fucks had no idea what to put on the altar. That's why they tried kidnapping people." Constantine sighed looking around the room.
The cave was decked out in hundreds of different offerings to appeal to the god and but so far the deity hadn't responded. He listed the items and the versions they probably wanted to see.
Next to the altar was a vase of flowers and herbs. Each one was different with different meanings.
Amaranth- Immortality
Anemone- Sickness
Lily-Death
Cowslip- Mischief
Hydrangeas-Wealth
Narcissus-Beauty
Rose-Love
Red poppy- War
There were others but most of these flowers were stuff Constantine had learned from trivia or reading about them in passing.
He didn't get to study anymore because-
"Guys all the capti-" Flash ran in and the wind caused the vase to topple over and a single flower to land on the alter.
The room began to shake as a portal opened.
(You go from here. Chose whatever flower landed.)

Danny fake guardian angel au
You know how sometimes it’s highlighted how you have to be very careful on what you say in the presence of a spirit because they can twist your words and end up bidding yourself to it?? well uno-reverse-card the spirit also has to be careful on what he says because when Danny had said he owed the dude one for coming to his rescue in a gala Vlad had dragged him to, he didn’t expect that to be taken literally.
danny: wait seriously?? i literally say that all the time!
cw: not after being crowned ghost king, you haven’t
danny: but—but I was also human when I said it. doesn’t that protect me or smth
cw: *shakes his head*
danny:
danny: omg this is a nightmare
cue timmy’s brucequest period (cuz he’s the guy) being so high strung and tired, he just wants some company, which is a so low stakes thing to want the deal Danny unintentionally goes sure we can do that and pulls him towards the guy, despite Timmy never outright saying he wants company. (tim always speaks in the sanctity of his own mind, not out loud)
So. random spirit manifesting. Tim going all who the fuck are u
and Danny panicking and saying your guardian angel
Tim not being impressed while Danny promptly blushes like a moron because that did not come off as he wanted it to.
Yes accidental dead tired where the dynamic goes from Tim trying to shake this probably demon that somehow latched to him being all like ??? dude leave me alone, and Danny being there like bitch i’m trying
to
huh. im actually being protected by a spirit like he said he would. he’s strangely an idiot but also he’s overpowered and just never leaves my side which he says it’s an angel obligation but I think it’s bullshit but also hoping it’s not because it appeals to my crippling fear of abandonment (anyways he really seems to take after those little cartoon angels that poof into your shoulder to keep from me doing wrong decisions) translate into my future boyfriend seems increasingly appalled to what i am up to
meanwhile danny
Bitch you better thank your god I’m dead because otherwise I would already been killed. I did not sign up for a assassins what the fuck I thought you were a normal civilian not a literal superhero and omg that is a fruitloop. no no back off you wrinkly raisin this is my emotional support idiot you can’t have him and what do you mean you’re messing with time whatever this way I can get back to clockwork—

The First Supervillain
So! A Typical "Early Start" AU where the events of The Show happen early in the Timeline. Like, in the 70's or 80's.
Danny never quite managed to fix his Public Perception, and even years into his career people still saw him as the Villain.
Coincidentally Valerie was seen as a Hero because of how often they were seen fighting. Even after they revealed their Identities and got together, they still had the occasional Battle. It was their love language.
His role as the Villain was Cemented when Pariah launched his Second Invasion of Earth after some dumbass accidentally freed him, and Danny took the Blame for it. Instead of being seen as the Hero who battled Pariah and stopped the Invasion, he was seen as the Tyrant to launched the Invasion in the first place, with Red Huntess being the one to defeat him in one final Ultimate Battle.
And honestly? He was fine with that. Now that he was the King of the Ghost Zone, he had the Authority to Regulate the Portal so villains stopped getting through. And that meant that he wasn't needed to stop random Ghost Attacks anymore. He could finally focus on College and his own Life, instead of sacrificing everything to act as the Protector of the Human Realm.
Val continued to be a Hero for a few more years, eventually retiring when it became Clear that the new generation of Heroes could pick up the Slack.
He went to College, got a Job as an Aerospace Engineer, and eventually proposed to Valerie.
About 20 years since his initial Accident, and he was doing great! He had moved into a humble home on the edge of town with his loving wife Val, his beautiful daughter Ellie, and his cute dog Cujo.
Yeah, life was good.
Until the day Danny accidently caused a Mass Crisis.
...
Superman was having some extreme trouble in dealing with his current Opponent. He had just been flying around the City, patrolling as Usual, when all of a sudden he had been attacked by a Flying Mech Suit.
At first he had assumed that Lex was giving it another Go, but he quickly realized that was not the case when the Armor seemed to Phase though solid matter in the middle of the battle. Lex had never made Tech advanced enough to do that on the fly.
This opponent was tough too. Strong enough and Durable enough to go blow for blow with him, and seemingly able to pull Advanced Weaponry from out of nowhere whenever he wanted. As tough as it was to admit, Superman as losing the Battle.
Then, without warning, the battle stopped. His opponent was staring at the space just behind him, with a look of pure dread. He turned around, and his heart stopped.
Floating behind him, staring right past him and directly at the Mech Suit, was the First Villain Phantom.
He looked much the same as when he had last been seen, although he was definitely Older. He had snow white hair, and glowing green eyes that seemed to stare right past him and into his very soul. He was wearing what seemed to be a costume of sorts, with an all black suit, white gloves, and white boots. Over his Shoulders sat a Cloak made of Stars, and above his head sat a Crown made of an Icy Blue Fire.
The Mech tried for a greeting, "Er- Hello t-Lord Phantom. How do you d-"
"Skulker."
"Y-yes?"
"What are you doing here? I thought I gave you explicit orders to stay in the Ghost Zone until further notice. You disobeyed me."
"Okay look. I got excited, that's my fault. It's just, I got anxious waiting. Can you really blame me? I've been waiting 20 years to take another Crack at the Human World, what's it matter if I left a few weeks Early?"
"I told you. You were supposed to wait exactly 20 Years, and you left Early. This calls for punishment."
"No wait!"
"Let's see how you feel after a few days as Soup."
The Villain pulled out a Thermos, and in a flash of green light, Skulker was gone, and the King was capping the Thermos. He then turned to Superman.
"I apologize for him, he decided to leave ahead of schedule." The King addressed him. "Now, Kryptonian. Rest and tend to your wounds, you will need to be in your best health if you want to continue saving the lives of those people below us."
With a dramatic flare, the King reached up and Tore a hole in Space. Through the Hole, Superman could only see an infinite Green Void, with the sound of screams cheering being heard through the rift.
The King departed through the Tear in Spacetime, and it closed behind him.
Superman tried to collect himself, and activated his League Emergency Comms.
"Attention All Founding Members, and Justice League Dark Members. This is Superman calling for an immediate Emergency Meeting."
He took a deep breath.
"Phantom is Back."
