Pairing: Rh’auk x Reader

Request: Hi, I’m a massive fan of your writing and I adore your yautja fics, but I have to ask if your consider writing something similar to the jealously fic. Like reader is jealous thinking one of the much larger women yautja are trying to court your mate, only to find out your mate is jealous cause it’s clear the woman is trying to court you instead.

Your mate was in a meeting with important members of the tribe, occupied inside the hut you sat outside of.

You weren’t sure what it was about, though you were curious now, hearing their low, muffled clicks. You smiled, recognizing Rh’auk among them.

The breeze was warm and humidity comfortable, you couldn’t help but lean your head on the tree you sat against, letting your eyes shut and mind rest.

You didn’t fight it when you began dozing off, Rh’auk would be a while anyway.

When he finally emerged from the hut, he found you where he left you, only now you were sleeping peacefully.

He was beyond fond of his precious little hooman, wanting nothing more than to scoop you up and nap the evening away.

Alas, there were things to be done, tasks he couldn’t brush aside, not even for you.

He crouch in front of you and brushed a clawed finger against your cheek, waking you gently with pets and small kisses.

You grumbled at first, so cruelly being pulled from your light slumber.

But once you saw him you grinned, arms finding their way around his neck as you pulled him into a tight embrace.

“You’re back,” you mumbled happily, nuzzling yourself closer.

His chest rumbled lowly, mandibles clicking together occasionally. Your warm greeting making his heart melt- as it does only for you, “Yes, I am back ank’te.”

He lifted you to your feet with ease, immediately missing your arms around him as you released your hold at his neck and stood with a small yawn.

“How was your meeting?” you questioned, interlacing your hand with his larger one as you began your walk back home.

He thought for a moment, “It went well. There is much to do in little time.”

You nodded, pressing a quick kiss to his arm, deciding not to push for details he didn’t wish to share.

You felt slightly aggravated when a female Yautja stopped you and Rh’auk in your walk. It was ridiculous how often they fawned over your mate, even with you clinging to his side.

She was strong and tall, bigger than Rh’auk, but still delicate in a way. Gold accents of jewelry rest upon her skin in a beautiful contrast, shimmering with each movement she made.

You couldn’t help but feel a bit insecure at her powerful elegance. She was worthy, worthy of a male such as Rh’auk.

Her eyes were soft as she looked at you, but harder when your mate spoke their native tongue, demanding her attention.

Rh’auk seemed more territorial than aggressive towards her. He growled and snapped at her words, whatever she was saying, he really didn’t take lightly to it.

They seemed to be arguing, a part of you worried they’d begin fighting.

You flinched when she hissed, mandibles flaring before backing off. She gave you one last soft glance as she wandered elsewhere.

You looked up at him confused, “What was.. that about?”

He grumbled, “She wished to challenge me- to court you,” the words came out sharply, fading into indecipherable, sharp clicks.

Your eyes widened, oh.

“There is always one to threaten me for you. What am I to do?” he picked you up bridal style, continuing walking whilst he glanced down at your wide, surprised eyes.

“You are lucky I did not take you then and there for everyone to see mei’aki.” he huffed, making your body heat up at the mere idea.

“I thought she was trying to court you,” you said after a moment, fingers absentmindedly tracing the deep scars on his chest.

He shook his head, the sharp appendages at his jaw moving as he chittered, amused.

“She is not the only female who has sought you out ooman,” Rh’auk seemed so sour again at the idea of anyone stealing you from him.

You kissed his chest, feeling the way his hands tightened on your skin, “You’re the only one I’ll ever call my mate,” you said sweetly.

He couldn’t help but stop in his tracks and lean down to kiss you, your words meaning far more to him than you’d ever imagine.

He could only think to show you how much they meant to him.

What did/do you like about Pharah?

Uh, gameplay-wise, I really love characters in shooters who rely on three-dimensional movement techs. Chaining together hover and jump to stay in the air for as long as possible and keep momentum is so satisfying, and picking enemies off from the sky made me feel like a bird of prey. I was a good Pharah main.

Story-wise, there unfortunately isn't much to canonically go off because Pharah is so underutilized and neglected. Her personality's pretty boilerplate "heroic hero" (she's literally inspired by Captain America).

But it's the crumbs/bits and pieces that I really latched onto. Pharah's a confirmed lesbian; her short story with Baptiste implies she harbors a crush on Mercy (fucking thank you.). She's biracial Egyptian/First Nations. She has major mommy issues, having grown up both admiring and resenting Ana. She's the bridge between Old Overwatch, inspired by the idealized heroes who surrounded her childhood, and New Overwatch. She's one of the only inter-generational characters in the cast; someone whose experiences span the gap, which is why I seriously believe Pharah would make a great main character.

There isn't much to go off of, though; she's a very uncomplicated character (she's a soldier for a private military corporation, lol.). But that just means she's a blank slate character, so I've seen fanfic writers run wild and create some really interesting takes on her. My favorite interpretation of her's a dense, herbo gym-bro type (a lot of her liens are about work outs, exercising, and playing sports) who's easily excitable under her seemingly self-serious, armored visage. We see how she tends to gloat and hype herself up when she's on a streak too, so Pharah definitely has a competitive and boastful side under her more professional and militant performance.

Now Mercy? Mercy is a real complex character.

ahhhhh thank you!! 🥺💖 i think armand is just such a fun character to play with in this regard! (all regards tbh obviously lmao that's why he's in literally EVERYTHING i talk about and write 🥹) this au is just so cozy and cute to me so i’ll share a bit because i’ve been thinking about it A Lot:

lestat and armand are high school sweethearts and they've been dating on/off since middle school

they break up over something dumb & petty for two weeks, during which armand seduces and sleeps with marius, their art teacher (lesmand is the same grade despite their age difference, lestat is repeating a grade and armand skipped a grade)

lesmand gets back together and two weeks after this, armand finds out he's pregnant and he doesn't know who the daddy is

he tells lestat obviously and he wants to keep the baby, he doesn't say a thing to marius but time goes by and he starts showing up to class in baggy clothes and lestat's hoodies and eventually ykw there's no hiding it and marius is shockedcat.jpg

in my head this au would span eight years or so and by the end armand has five kids: girl (marius), boy/girl twins (lestat), girl (marius), boy (daniel)

it's mostly marimandstat on and off and in all configurations (like sometimes marius gets lestat off to keep him away from armand postpartum bc armand does the opposite of discouraging lestat from pouncing on him before he's fully healed and lestat gets pretty clingy to marius for a while each time)

then daniel moves across the street and enters the picture and he doesn't entirely know what's going on in that house with armand's feral children tearing up the yard but he gets used to them and to armand creepily staring at him over the fence or through the kitchen window

when armand tells daniel he's pregnant, daniel just blurts out "who did this to you?" because he DID use protection okay there’s no way (oh but there is)

at this point lestat’s trying to make it as a rockstar but he comes over to armand's a lot to play with all the kids and ends up crashing on the couch or in his twin's room before making his way to armand's bed. marius doesn’t exactly live there either but he’s always Around and pays the bulk of the bills

and then daniel has to figure how to co-parent with armand, lestat, and marius and all of them are so different like lestat is super playful and permissive with all the children. marius is the disciplinarian and there's not really a separation between which child is whose, they all get the same treatment regardless if they’re a marimand or a lesmand baby. armand alternates between being a mix of the stereotypical strict slavic parent and being his kids’ best friend because he did have them quite young, after all. and there's daniel from across the street who's just: 🧍‍♂️

one of the marimand looks just like armand and she thinks she’s the most special little princess in the world; the other kids look like lestat and marius aka the same. not sure the armand/daniel looks like yet, we haven’t gotten there yet

Shooting my shot for a beat your heart to death suggestion... Reader gets very desperate... Purposefully staging a whole scenario knowing geto + Gojo are going to want to fuck this girl eventually. You merely speed up the process. Reader stalks this girl hard and has a perfect routine to be a believable look alike. Possibly breaking into her apartment to know exactly what kind of bra's / panties she likes to wear ECT- the boys will want to invite her over for a hookup. But in the dark with the lights off perhaps they do not have the slightest clue who they are really fucking- perhaps even moaning your name 🙈😈 I just really like this set up and would love to hear your take on how you think it could end ^^ love your works :)

First of all, thank you!! I'm glad you love my works, because I love writing them, and it makes me so happy when other people love my brain children (some of them sitting abandoned in drafts for months on end,, my deadbeat parent ass).

Okay so, excellent thoughts BUT I do think realistically there's no way you could get away with the swap without them noticing.

Gojo, the disgusting animal that he is, can 100% identify you by scent alone. He has spent so much time with your panties in his mouth that he knows the exact flavor of your cunt and probably what part of your cycle you're on.

He could pick out which pair of panties you wore in a blind taste/sniff test. He will know instantly. I do think he might not tell Suguru right away though just for fun value.

Geto might have a harder time because he wouldn't be familiar with your mannerisms but I think he'd know your body and body language well enough that he could tell that, too.

Although... I also really like the idea of them picking out girls who resemble you in various ways >.> they would, too, the monsters. They might even be fucked up enough to get her to wear some of your clothes so she smells like you.... fucking FREAKS (i love them).

From a writing perspective though, that's a really good twist! You should be proud, this is actually a really neat concept! I think it would be a satisfying act of deception for Suguru - he wants you to act out, do something crazy, and this fits the bill really well.

Narratively, it would work great from the reader's POV thinking you've fucked them, pining the whole time you fuck them anyways because they think you're another girl... only for one of them to casually slip afterwards that they knew it was you.

Or worse. They don't slip (this would be VERY hard for Satoru skdfhgsfdhg). And they just keep finding girls who look just enough like you that you keep swapping yourself out for them... they get to fuck you without admitting they want to fuck you.

But it's kind of harmless. For Satoru and Suguru, what they really want is like. A love that hurts. They think the realest version of love is one that's painful, visceral, moving. To really feel like you've confessed, they'd want you to do something that hurts.

I actually already have a good draft for part two. But maybe this idea is worth exploring somewhere else? Idk if you have a blog but you kinda cooked here bestie. If you want me to pick it up somewhere else though I can go for that too >.>

I've seen probably next to nothing for that specific version of the Cream/Dark Cream ship, so I'm not sure how the dynamic is. Sometimes possessive behavior isn't bad, and sometimes it can even be amusing to see if nothing serious happens and it's meant to be a comedic thing. Other times, possessive behavior can go waaaaaay overboard, right into yuckville. Think yandere territory, but potentially worse, somehow
