Not done talking actually. It's fucking insane that Mi1 is basically Ethan Hunt's tragic backstory. Not only did he lose all of the people closest to him, including the man who mentored him and became his father figure when he lost his dad, but he was also led on and used and betrayed by the one friend he though he had left. and despite all of that he STILL loves and trusts and cares about people with his WHOLE HEART. Despite how much pain the people in the past whom he had trusted put him through. Instead of saying "this is never going to happen to me again" and shutting down his heart, this sunshine babyboy said "this is never going to happen to ANYONE ELSE again" and opened UP his heart. Gym Leader Ethan

*Prompt Idea - Design a gym or trial challenge for your muse.

Pokémon types: Water or Poison Location: Pacifidlog Town, Hoenn

The gym itself would be built a short distance away from the main roads in Pacifidlog, basically on the backyard of Ethan's clinic, and it'd be very similar to Wake's gym puzzle in that it's a maze with different paths opening or closing depending on the water level, with the player crossing through bridges made out of coral that can be submerged and blocked off. Since this is Ethan we're talking about, the puzzle has to serve an educational purpose as well, showing that corals have filtering properties that can purify water

There would be a really cool effect with the room being dimly-lit and the coral forming the paths that the player can go through being bioluminescent

His signature type is of course Water, with Tentacruel and Lanturn being new additions to the team because one matches his preference for poison and the other matches his anglerfish theme

But Hoenn has too many Water specialists so in that case he could use the other type he's really good at training and become a Poison specialist

Dustox and Swalot are the new additions to the team because Hoenn doesn't actually have a lot of Poison-types but Dustox can learn Psychic moves to match Ethan's psychic abilities and Swalot kiiiinda matches the filtering theme of the gym if you squint

After beating him the player gets access to the TM for Scald (in his Water specialist route) or Sludge Wave (in his Poison specialist route) as well as the Fluid Badge

Every Single MI Movie everyone is trying to get shit done while Ethan Hunt is somehow also unknowingly competing for the World's Biggest Sweetheart award.
