URGENT! PLEASE READ ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE GOING TO PARTICIPATE IN SIMBLREEN AND SHARE SUB-FOLDERS FROM SFS LIKE ME!

Be very careful if you're going to participate on Simblreen event and link related folders from SFS. It's possible that some functions have changed or that it has been there ever, but I recently notice that everyone can access your linked folders! (Tho not the ones that are on My files). I say this, because if you link a sub-folder that is related to a Simblreen sub-folder, everyone will be able to access the other packages you have saved before the event is over and the magic will be broken. And you can check it out if you go to my last download of Strawberry eyes here, of which I shared sub-folder that is related to Eyes sub-folder, that is related to CAS sub-folder, you can access everything inside that sub-folder (CAS).

It doesn't work with sub-folders that are in My files, but it does work with subfolders inside those folders. I hope that is understood.

My advice is that for Simblreen event, if you shared sub-folders and they're organized inside a Simblreen-specific folder, either put all folders outside in My Files or don't do it from SFS, but from any other place you can control who accesses. Share it so that it reaches more people or tell those who will participate like me and link sub-folders!

Edit: It may have been happening since ever, as I said I recently found out because my account had been disconnected. And if it has happened to me it's possible that it's happening to more people because they think it only happens when you're logging in from your account.

this shot is so simple and obvious but i love it. the beam of sunlight dividing the room, the invading instrument of claudia's death, close enough for louis to hurt himself with; but does louis know that it's no real barrier for armand? does louis know that armand could cross that threshold and reach him? does louis know that armand could get up and close the curtains if he wanted the room to be safe, but leaves them open anyway? does louis still believe the sun holds as much power over armand as it does over him?

this show established that older daniel could never give love to those around him properly. he loses wives and his daughters don't call. he's bitter and mean and tired. except, we're shown that wasn't always true. daniel, the boy with a drug problem and no self-preservation. the boy who went everywhere with a bulky tape recorder because he truly believed everybody was important, everybody had a story. he bonded with vampires, single mothers, and those suffering from aids in a time where nobody else would. he opened people up because he connected with them. he saw them when he didn't even want to see himself. that's why he was fascinating!

and what?? i'm just not supposed to entertain the thought that armand didn't look at that snarky, happy guy with a streak of coldness and fall in love?? that when armand carved himself and his love so deeply out of that boy's mind that he didn't also take daniel's concept of love and compassion out with it?? that if armand could not have daniel, then nobody else would either??

I am very excited for Unend and I have absolutely no insight into what it will entail but I do want to offer a gentle warning regarding what I'd like to call, for the CR audience anyway, the Campaign 1 to Campaign 2 problem.

I found in the early-ish days of Campaign 2 there was an immense focus from some parts of the fandom on what previously seen characters were doing, rather than the current cast of characters, and at times a bitterness that we weren't just showing the same characters 25 years down the line. Which was silly, because we got a great story with new great characters and saw the world grow before our eyes, and there were even some small nods without them overshadowing something new and exciting.

I feel this way about Unend: again, I know nothing, but I don't think it will be heavily focused on characters introduced in Midst or Moonward at all. I think it's an opportunity for a new cast of characters to explore new things in the same world. While I suspect the islet of Midst may show up simply because it's a strategic location for an exploration vessel to stop given how the cosmos work, the story is explicitly going to be taking place as far away from Midst as possible, since they're trying to find the extremes of the cosmos, not the middle. I don't think we're checking in extensively with past characters, and I think that's great! Get excited for new ones!

Okay hear me out...

According to Michael Cusack critters don't really like clothes so they usually don't use them (the reason Charlie and Pim do is because they're out in public a lot because of their job (and probably also because they have more human-ish features unlike Allan and Glep) ).

So basically my headcanon is that Allan would possibly deeply HATE using pants but would be ok with using things that are not so close to the skin/touching the skin (he has to use clothes in the Brazil episode because he was going to be outside most of the time there (if Pim had actually booked the hotel lol) and in the beach episode he was using a swimsuit because of that too. Basically he uses clothes in those episodes out of common decency), so I was thinking maybe he would actually be okay with using things like loose skirts or dresses. Maybe. Possibly. Just a silly thought.
