Weiss: *angry* That Dolt! Why didn't he defend himself? It's like he wants to get killed!?

Ren: *looking at Weiss* I don't think he doesn't want to defend but more so that he is incapable. We saw how efficient he was at dispatching Grimms.

Weiss: That's why i don't get it! He could go toe-to-toe with a deathstalker! Why is he struggling against Cardin!?

Ren: I don't know why, but he is unable to attack anyone. He said it was against protocol, but what was he talking about?

Pyrrha: Maybe where he trained, they couldn't fight in exhibition match? Maybe he only learned how to fight against grimms?

Weiss: *rolling her eyes* Pyrrha, you saw just as i how good he was at dodging and weaving. He knows how to fight.

Pyrrha: Then... Maybe he is a pacifist?

Ren: *Thinking* Then why did he choose to come to Beacon? Why not just take the huntsman exam?

Pyrrha: Why didn't you? Would have been easier than coming all this way from Mistral.

Ren: I'm not really good when it comes to fighting grimm. I know i still have a lot to learn.

Weiss: *sigh* When he's back, i'll ask him.

Ozpin: *looking at the camera footage showing Jaune's inability to retaliate against Cardin* ... There must be a way to overwrite his protocol.

Qrow: *drinking a bit* that would be asking the good doctor to remove it. But then again, he might just want to study him. It's not everyday someone is missing part of their soul.

Glynda: *hitting the table with enough force the marble fissured* I REFUSE! *Panting, her aura trying to heal the broken bones in her hand*

Qrow: *jumping from Glynda outburst*

Ozpin: *sigh* His condition isn't getting better Glynda. You know that, right?

Glynda: *grinding her teeth* He's the reason my brother is in this state! *Sitting down* I was supposed to be there for him...

Ozpin: *sigh* It shouldn't have happened. The fact is, Salem found the right person even though we took precautions. We couldn't have known.

Pietro: *scratching the back of his neck* My daughter is asking for an update on Jaune.

Watts: *annoyed* Well, so am i! That damn kid is still missing in action and we STILL haven't found a body!

Pietro: You seem... worried?

Watts: Well of course i am! Imagine if someone with half a brain took him and retro-engineered him!? He's the first fighting prototype to actually be somewhat as good as yours!

Pietro: *shaking his head* Again with that? Penny is my daughter, not just a project to complete or a work in progress.

Watts: *rolling his eyes* You and your damn feelings, i can't understand, really i can't.

Pietro: Really? So the clothes you buy for each and every A.R.C you make, all of them chosen after carefully asking each what their favorite type of clothes and brand are.

Watts: *groan*

Pietro: *laughing* Ah don't worry, i will not ask about the birthday cake in the fridge.

Watts: ... *Sigh* White, made it for Jaune. We know he is alive, his vitals are still transmitted even if they are inconsistent.

Pietro: I see... Well, i will tell Penny the same news as always.

Watts: *looking at Jaune's Vital, seeing his aura getting from 70 to 71* Hm...

Pietro: *who was leaving* What's wrong?

Watts: Well, nothing wrong per say... His aura stayed at 70 for the last month but... It seems to finally get up? I wonder why.

(Based on an ask for @pilot-boi About a Wall-E Whiteknight Au, and given Wall-e was instrumental to my childhood, I cannot help but write something for it. Because it's an AU, and they're both Human and not Robots, I took a few Liberties with the scene in the movie.)

Weiss was beyond frustrated. Nothing, after nothing, after nothing - no signs of life aside from the most extremophile of bacteria, protozoans, insects, and the occasional mold on fecal matter to imply the continuation of species on this gods-forsaken ball of mud.

She slammed the door of the cargo ship she was investigating shut, the rust sticking to her now dirtied gloves. Ugh.

She drifted by the crane of it, not noticing the creaks as it followed her, eventually ripping her back onto the magnet that hadn't fallen in the centuries of just sitting there.

And so Weiss snapped.

She whipped Myrtenaster out, igniting the plasmic blade and slicing the disc that held her back to pieces, before using her energetic glyphs to shred the the hulking metal antique, making it into even more scrap than it already was.

It toppled into the next ship, and then the next one, like dominoes. Deep, resonate bellows of creaks from the sudden movement after centuries of dormant stillness shook Weiss to her core.

She watched them fall, and for the time since her landing, let her feet settle against the ground. It was hard, dry, and barren, like the rest of this abandoned home. Weiss sat against an anchor, the fire and sparks filling a growing void in her chest, not unlike the one meant for plant life in her pack.

She sat there in silence - something the Passengers spoke of when in the few times she was allowed to meet them crossed her mind - A campfire. Whatever that was, it was meant to be shared with Family, something she'd been missing for a long time, her siblings being designated to different vectors of maintenance and service.

"AHem?"

Weiss reeled, drawing her sword once more, and startling a nearby person - A Person?!?

"Wer bist du?" She asked on high alert - this planet was meant to be dead, she was meant to find life here - who or what was this ... Person?

The person didn't respond, shaking violently at the sight of her blade - they appeared masculine, broad shouldered with dirty-blonde hair, though it was difficult to tell if that was due to genetics or living situation.

"Quis es?"

No Response.

"你是谁?"

No Response, but they did seem slightly less frightened given the lack of aggression.

"Chi sei?"

Their shaking slowed as they looked more inquisitive and confused than scared now.

"Qui es-tu?"

"OH! Je- Je M'appelle 'Jaune.' Vous parlez Anglais?"

"Yes I speak English."

"Oh, good!"

'Jaune' continued glancing at the glowing rapier. They seemed frightened of it still. Until he drew his own Weapon.

It wasn't as elegant as Myrtenaster, clearly older and having been used more - an old working tool for scrapping large objects, the thin, yellow sheen of plasma raced across it's edges.

"This is my Cutting tool. Your's is cool to!"

Weiss, once again, was thrown for a loop. He had drawn a dangerous device and waved it like it was a piece of extra piping.

"Jaune? Do you have a title or last name?"

The (boy?) seemed to flush at her pronunciation at his name.

"Jaune, of the A.R.C. Ministry"

"Arc?"

"Allocators of Recycled Components."

"How are you alive? Are there others like you?"

"Oh yeah! A lot, like, two hundred, three hundred others in the Bunker? Primarily we survive on Spirulina Compound. It provide most of our Oxygen and Food stuffs."

Weiss stood for a moment, deactivating her sword and pondering this - They'd been living in space for centuries. Earth was dead, barren, she was only barely able to survive due to advanced CO2 recycling.

"Have .. have you been following me?"

"Yep! You just seemed so pret-"

He was cut off by an alarm in his overalls. He lowered the visor to the helmet he wore, staring past her Weiss's shoulder.

"We need to leave Now." Jaune said, grabbing Weiss' wrist with a surprising amount of force, which she took none too kindly.

She reactived her Blade as she tore her hand away from him. "WHAT make you think You can grab me-"

"SANSTORM!" Jaune shouted, pointing past her "WE NEED TO GO, FOLLOW-"

Before he could even move to grab Weiss again, he slammed a massive tower shield in to the ground, covering himself from the blast of sand that tore at her skin and suit -

Weiss was whipped away, barely able to keep upright against the torrential winds, her Glyphs her only saving grace.

She Called out for the boy, anyone, frightened and alone, her suit's helmet the only thing allowing her to keep her eyes open even as it because scratched and muddled.

A hand found it's way to her wrist again, a dim yellow glow standing out against the violent dust letting her know she'd been found by Jaune.

It gave her some small comfort to not be alone as he dragged her somewhere, hopefully safe.

I fucking LOVE Wall-e. I made my First OC for Wall-e (Not that I knew what that meant at the time.) I had the Three-Disc Special edition, the Movie and it's Featurette Presto, The Second Disc with a gallery of the Bots, the Lots of Bots read-along, Burn-E (Who I imagine to be Qrow with his luck) and all the other special features, and the Digital Copy Disc to download it onto a Laptop or P.C. back when owning a digital copy of a movie was something special, and that's not even halve of it!

18, currently freshman uni student. (what am i majoring in? love to answer that for you, but i can't.)

i've been on writeblr before, and i usually fade in-and-out as i work on my wips and set them down and pick 'em back up and such!

about writing —

characters typically get the cherri special (i will figure out a way to get them to die and Come Back Wrong)

urban fantasy, fantasy + dystopian are my favorite genres to read and write !!

morally gray characters + the "came back wrong" trope + "fighting a losing war" have a death-grip on me, it's true.

my main wip —

the disinformation age (young adult, urban fantasy, enemies to lovers)

operative nickei nines, an invaluable member of the a.r.c. initiative, dies after a city-wide black-out caused by an anarchist rogue goes too far. one year later, nickei is back — and there is manufactured, state-sponsored war on the way. no one anticipates the anarchist coming quietly, held on a tight-leash by the man he murdered. nickei is not anticipating the a.r.c. initiative's solution to their rebellion problem: using ren as an example of a rehabilitation problem, rejoining the ranks he'd left so long ago.

i'm looking to get back into writeblr !! the community and atmosphere was so fun and i miss it <3 and there are so many wips i miss hearing abt and certainly some super cool ones in the works that i haven't heard abt at all !!

DEAR DIARY,

I had another dream about Clyde. She wasn’t hurt, but she was alone. I still worry about her, I feel like I’ve gone mad for having hope. I don’t care if she found her way back and chose not to find me, I just want her alive.

She gave me courage, and now it’s lost. I can barely leave my house for essentials, at this rate I may just rot alone and die. My friends probably think I’ve gone mad.

I’ve noticed something strange when I was going through the old letters I never got sent out. They were stamped with a wax seal, one with the initials A.R.C.

I don’t know how I’ve come to have this wax seal in my possession. I might’ve nicked it from home without thinking, though I don’t recall anyone with those initials. For now, I will consider this the unsolved mystery of A.R.C.

After being rescued from the Buried Vault, Ricardo headed with the group back to the school. Wanting to take responsibility for his own involvement with R, he wanted to deal with the Vaults on his own and give Reina and her friends a break. He feels that it should've never been their burden to begin with.

The following year, Reina and friends voted to make him the leader of their new group known as the Anti-R Coven (aka The A.R.C.), which he gladly accepted. He wanted to give the group full transparency as a sign they could trust him, so then he went and told them this:

Rowan: "I..." Reina: "Wait WHAT?!!" Ben: "You're messing with us! Right?!"

Ben and Reina know very well what the implications of those words mean. Going by a very old headcanon I had that never got around to presenting, the two of them enjoy reading superhero comics together, so they have a good understanding of multiverse stuff.

Ricardo: "A lot of the other universes are nearly identical while others are vastly different. There are some where either Reina and I never went to Hogwarts or simply never existed. It'd be another different pair of siblings living out their own adventures with the vaults."

I know the Nolanverse doesn't use games much, but which games are a part of the Nolanverse? I know that FNaF 3 is a part of it, and Pizzaria Simulator isn't (I don't think Issac is trying to kill his dad), so which games would be included? (Would Help Wanted count since Malhare?-)

alright so. it's probably smart for me to go chronological for this question. yes i had to add the read more because this would've been Long Long

FNaF 1: probably. yes the pizzeria was made and the animatronics were made for it after William disappeared, but technically all you have are confirmation that the ghost kids are lingering around the pizzeria from William's experiments when Nolan visited to grab a spare suit

FNaF 2: no. again the pizzeria was probably build alongside the toy animatronics (Henri is a businessman after all), but there was so second batch of missing kids because 1987 was the year Arthur got crunched so. William probably scuttled the whole idea and made the FNaF 1 pizzeria as a plan before he vanished too, leaving Henri to make it alone

FNaF 3: no actually. there is Springtrap merchandise, but that's only made to really just mess with Nolan's head. remember, the CEO of Fazbear Entertainment was linked to the A.R.C., so it makes sense that they'd make a more edgy design to appeal to teenagers (in reality, springtrap could probably sue them for infringement)

FNaF 4: no. they're just Arthur's nightmares, something Nolan can experience through his Remnant affliction in the same way he can experience William's past

SL: no. Isaac is still M.I.A because of how much id have to focus on that yet, but it's clear that William struggled with making springlock technology because his plans were too ahead of the time. there's no way William could invent the Funtimes in the 80's if he's struggling with springlocks.

FNaF 6: maybe? i could see Henri making a few failed pizzerias after William vanished before selling off the Fazbear license to someone else and taking the money for retirement. it's less office gameplay and moreso Endless Tycoon though

Help Wanted: not at all. Malhare is a technological virus that Nolan got from jacking into a virtual simulation to use his Remnant to fuel up the equivalent of a Glamrock animatronic with genuine sentience, but I could see Fazbear Entertainment absolutely making a bunch of filler video games

Security Breach: kinda? Gregory did find Glamrock Freddy and left the Pizzaplex, but only because it shut down from Nolan's airport scuffle with Garneau. there was no 'Vanny', probably just Vanessa doing her job and failing as Gregory was found all the way in San Francisco.

ITP: yeah actually. the mirror idea influenced it, but i didn't make it a ballpit because purposely doing the whole 'magic mirror' thing was kinda funny. no ITP Spring Bonnie though, that's reserved for Were-Nolan
