The Itch.Io page is up!
As promised, the Itch.Io page for shadow of Gehenna is up, for now it only contains the LCP for the Mechs, Talents, and manufacturers but, hopefully that will be enough for those interested to sink their teeth into.
As suggested we'll be making a thread in the lancer Pilot.Net for feedback on the content, however that will be up a bit later when I actually have the time to respond to questions feedback in the moment, however feel free to message me over here, and ill do my best to respond!
So thank you all for waiting, because I'm sure this is what a lot of people were looking out for!
Link to the itch.io page here
And a reminder: Lots of these things are mostly not tested to a satisfying degree, so expect some jank to come with the fun, We look forward to everyone's experiences with the new toys on offer!

A New Year and a Late update
So first of all, to everyone following this project, you have my apologies, as much as i had momentum going into this, not all things can be accounted for and life did get in the way.
However fortunately, my love for LANCER and Shadow of Gehenna has not gone away whatsoever, no now armed with funds and some more creative motivation, I'm hopefully ready to put my nose the the grindstone, along with my dear friends who are working on this project. I won't carry on too much, because there isn't too much to say, other than that small pieces of work have been done on Gehenna in the meantime, and soon, if not tonight, later this week we'll make an LCP available with all of the Locksteel, and A.R.C's mechs available. Mind you this will be a kind of beta version of the LCP, so expect some rough edges, and a little imbalance. Again, I am sorry for the lack of updates however, anyone still watching i am so happy for everyone's support and the small amount of attention we gathered initially.

GEHENNA ART + LAYOUT UPDATE!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hi! Li here again hijacking the main control with another art update!
You can see here's a sample of how the 2-page layout for Gehenna would look, and how it would look on a regular layout for PDF! I'm using the Polemos as a sample.
As for updates, 5/6 ARC mechs have been prepped for layout, and I'll most likely be moving onto the Locksteel ones soon. We're looking at a potential 120 page supplement given how the mechs will be taking up at least 70+ of them (and thats not even counting the talents + extras!)
So keep an eye out for future updates, including KS backing news soon!!!

Introducing the Makarov - The Mech Scaling Scout
The second in the “TechSteel” line of frames created, The Makarov is a lightweight frame, dedicated to support via scouting, ambush and disruption of hostile targets. The base frame is an over modified Locksteel heavy hardsuit, stripped down then rebuilt with a range of gripped fingers and boots, auxiliary hooks and a range of other features to assist with navigating onto opposing frames, with the specific goal set in mind to make that single target’s life a living hell while allies do the brunt of the damage.
When unable to move onto a target, or when it is simply unsafe to do so, the Makarov can be equipped with a range of utility to support allies from behind friendly lines, primarily oriented around softening targets and hardening allied systems.
-
When it comes to utility over raw firepower, the Makarov is king, The key feature of Locksteel’s smallest mech is that of its ability to climb onto and Jockey targets as if it were any pilot but, with the strength of a mech-scale reactor behind those arms. While latched onto an unfortunate foe, the Makarov stunts their firewalls, tears off their plating and all in all ruins any good pilot’s day.
It’s license brings with it a range of tools more appropriate for a commander than a sole fighter. Its “Chain of Command” and “Reactive Fortification” Systems make sure no ally is out of your sensor range and unprepared and Signal Flares and System Scrubbing put enemies out in the open for your scarier teammates to tear them apart.

Introducing the Mossberg - The Magnetic Frontliner
The Mossberg is one of two advanced patterns released by Locksteel in the “TechSteel” line from frames, a pair of patterns that took years to finally be well and truly finished, primarily because of the Mossberg’s unique systems. Produced as a true answer to their competitors’ offensive frames, the Mossberg is capable of using a system of high power magnets to create defensive fields for itself and nearby allies, in some cases being capable of completely altering the path of standard kinetic weapons or disrupting and dispersing energy based weaponry mid flight.
-
The Mossberg buck’s the the trend of it’s forefathers in most regards, being the first frame no be never truly based on a pre-existing civilian frame. Being designed from the ground up the Mossberg as a range of advanced systems made for pragmatic and selfless pilot, with it’s inbuilt systems able to absorb, redirect and then unleash powerful magnetic waves that reinforce allies and crush hostiles.
Being based off it’s magnetic core, the Mossberg’s range of systems allow pilots to push, pull or simply stop foes in their tracks, with it’s ability to manipulate even the smallest amount of reactive materials one can even crush a frame under the weight of its own armor. However, this gentle giant is not without his own offensive capabilities, with the Lovingly nicknamed Maggy heavy pistol fires round that are able to home in on targets or the SRC - Hot potato that magnetically fires super-heated metal rods.

Art update!!
Tumblr media
It's Li here, artist for the Gehenna supplement and I'm breaching containment to let yall know that all the art for the 12 Gehenna mechs have been completed!
What's next?
Tumblr media
Well right now these are the 3 things that have the highest priority! Currently I'm working on the misc art as Fox sorts out the campaign and sitreps!
We're also considering guest art and custom maps for the missions as a potential Kickstarter tier down the line, but we're realistically only going to open it up once the project hits 80%-90% completion, so that's gonna still be a whiles away!
Thank you all for following this project!! I'll be dropping the art for one of the mechs later on today as well!

Introducing the Kalashnikov - The Scrapyard Underdog
The first Kalashnikov dates back to Locksteel’s original uprising, the frame’s initial design - which was penned by Adrian Lock - was based on a subterranean mining frame, capable of enduring the worst the deep crust of the planet could throw at a piece of machinery. It was easy enough to mount weapons to the frame and make some minor improvements to it’s plating to help deal with large scale weapons but as Locksteel continued to expand so too did the Kalashnikov, eventually it became host to an advanced frame that was magnitudes more durable than others in the locksteel catalog.
Along with its core, the Kalashnikov is equipped with a range of redundancies coupled together with emergency backup systems that activate in cascade to mounting pressure, creating a frame that almost grows stronger or at least faster during longer engagements.
-
The Kalashnikov is like many Locksteel mechs, built for risk and reward, however this frame takes it to the extreme; Thanks to its Underdog, True Grit and Lightweight traits, the more damaged, hindered or even outclassed in size the Kalashnikov is, the harder it fights and the harder to bring down it becomes. With the activation of it’s core power nothing less than complete annihilation can hope to bring this pit-brawler of a mech down. The systems and weapons the Kalashnikov buck the trend of Locksteel systems being useful for most if not all types of pilots; Each system granted by the license is ground up made to support melee-range, bloody-knuckled brawling. With weapons that hit hard and some that are just as indestructible as the frame itself.

Introducing the Winchester - The Front Line Runner
The Winchester is the sibling mech to the Colt, built in tandem as a more front line focused frame as opposed to some of the other frames in Locksteel’s line up. While deployed alongside its sibling Frame during skirmishes against ARC during their corporate expansion, the Winchester didn’t receive widespread popularity until Locksteel moved to reclaim lost ground from the invading cooperation.
With its sleeker frame and narrower profile the Winchester was capable of moving quickly and safely toward enemy positions with minimal damage from suppressive fire damaging it. The pattern is now popular among hotshot pilots that want a more customizable alternative to the other Locksteel patterns.
-
The Winchester is for the daredevils, the risk takers and those who want to play Lancer like an aggressive cover shooter. It’s traits, “Lock In” and “Hunker Down’ allow the Winchester to slide into cover that’s just out of reach then make better use of it than anyone else could and it’s core power lets it shrug off overwatch attacks like the wind.
Naturally the kit the Winchester brings to the table suits such an in-your-face style, with systems to keep you safe from dangerous terrain while helping to round up your opponents so you can run circles around them; using the Rattlebone SMG to turn those who would run into Swiss cheese and mowing down the rest with the relentless pump-action Workhorse shotgun.

Introducing the Remington -  The Bottomless Armory
The Remington -or more grimly nicknamed by pilots: “the marching tomb” - was first deployed as a rough prototype. Cobbled together from unused frames, leftover weapons and systems mounted around a defunct 3D printer, the Remington was never intended for serious use and deployment, however the effectiveness of being able to print systems on the go, even if they were likely to fail, wasn’t lost on those who used it and Locksteel was convinced to manufacture and release a more stable pattern.
Though it is now less of a death trap, the name stuck with down on their luck pilots with nothing left to lose and a desire to not go quietly, arming themselves with as much as their frame could carry and bringing as many hostiles down with them.
-
The most important part of the Remington is it’s ability to constantly be using limited systems, with a chance to not consume limited systems it can keep the pressure on with powerful systems. The second most important factor is it’s Directed Force Canon, a weapon that gains uses from spent limited systems and weapons to unleash devastating Area of Effect attacks.
The tools the Remington license comes with are nothing to scoff at, with multi-target disposable missile launchers, explosive drones and the devastating Thumper canon, the Remington Excels at blanketing the battlefield, while it’s vast amount of countermeasures prevent it from even being scratched.

Introducing the Colt - The relentless reloader
The Colt was part of the initial wave of Locksteel Mechs, embodying the ever present mentality of the company’s style of weaponry, with a focus on utility and ease of use rather than an excess of unnecessary additions and redundant systems. The first major deployment of the Colt frame was during an expansionist phase of a neighboring manufacturer - ARC. While the Colt paled in comparison to the rival company’s high end frames and the SSC and Harrison frames fielded by their proxy soldiers, the Colt’s low resource requirement and ease of use gave it a stunning advantage on a home field, becoming a poster child of resistance for the people who lived alongside and worked with Locksteel.
-
The Colt is for those who want a new spin on the gunslinger type frame, with it’s ability to reload weapons quicker than other frames at the cost of health and create a wall of lead to protect itself, it can take measured shots from its powerful SRC - Dedicated Marksman Rifle to bring down even the hardest targets.
Being the poster child of Locksteel Inc. the Colt license provides pilots with a pair of weapon modifications; Insta-conversion to give a weapon loading and boost its power, or the Barrel-affixed-backup which allows pilots to disengage with more lethality.

Originally a mining and refinement group under the name of IronForge, Locksteel Inc. began life during Second Committee’s time in power as the first settlers of a mineral dense yet organically sparse planet now known as 910-Alberich. For most of IronForge’s lifetime they remained as a simple refined metal distributor working under harsh leadership and harsher conditions.
It wasn’t until the rise of what would become Third Committee and Present day union did Locksteel Inc. form as it is known now. Even despite the best efforts of SecCom whispers of growing unrest reached the ears of IronForge workers. Tried and abused the workers rallied around their figurehead Adrian Lock and took immediate steps to make their current employers feel as unwelcome as possible; with weaponized mining suits and tools the workers had pushed SecCom off of 910-Alberich and formed themselves in a new group, Locksteel Inc.
In present day Locksteel has invested in the production of powerful, durable and modular weapons and combat frames that can be equipped to and used by even the least combat-ready frames, priding themselves on being a company for the every-man; that even the most blue-collar worker can keep themselves safe at an affordable price.
-
As a manufacturer Locksteel Inc. offers players a range of robust frames, with a focus away from direct melee combat but instead powerful weapons often sporting high per-shot damage at the cost of consistency. A few licenses that Locksteel offer are the All-rounder Reloading focused Colt, the walking 3d printer and artillery platform Remington and the shogun toting front runner Winchester.
