He slips in after midnight and it’s a dick move, yeah, ’cause he knows they’ll be asleep, Keeley’s got meetings in the morning, she’s always got meeting ‘cause she’s a proper super star, and Roy hasn’t got meetings, it’s an off day for the coaches too, but he’s an old grump and he needs his eight hours or he’s a worse fucking grump and Jamie doesn’t need him to be a grump tomorrow.
So, yeah. Should go back to his own place, probably. Kip there, head over in the morning. Only, he’s been gone for a week, and with Keeley’s meetings and Roy being the head coach, they’ve none of them had the chance to come the qualifiers, and it’s been brilliant, of course it has, he has, and there’s been texts and phone calls and video calls, but it’s not the same is it, and he’s missed them, and so.
He unlocks the door quietly and takes his shoes off quietly and pads up the stairs quietly, but when he pushes open the door to the master bedroom – quietly – the bed lights are on and there’s Keeley sat with an Ipad in her lap and her back against the padded headboard. On the other side of the bed Roy’s spread out and out like a light, snoring gently.
“Hey,” Jamie says, lingering in the doorway. “Sorry, I didn’t— I mean, thought you’d be asleep.”
“I was waiting for you,” Keeley says, as easily as if it’s nothing, as she puts the tablet away. “Roy was too, but he’s had Phoebe all day, didn’t last two minutes.” And she pauses, eyeing him like she expects him to crack a joke, Roy’s so fucking old something something no fucking wonder he’s tired, but when he doesn’t speak and he doesn’t move she cocks her head to the side. “Come here?”
And he doesn’t need asking twice, does he. He crosses the floor, shedding his clothes as he sheds everything that isn’t them and here and now, and he slips into the middle of the bed, into the space they’ve made for him, and Keeley settles around him and he around her, and at his back Roy is solid and warm, a constant, and Jamie closes his eyes, presses against him and pulls her closer, and the scent of them both is everywhere and her whispered welcome home is the warmth of her smile is the heat of Roy’s body and if this isn’t home he is homeless.

Finally, a take on The Boys that isn't dog shit!
A video by SheevTalks actually goes into stuff, which I had the same feelings about, on The Boys which I mean when I say: I do not like this Overrated As Fuck show on Superhero Deconstructions & Satire!
The whole takes from Right-wing dumbass Conservatives who realized it was a satire even on them when the whole point of The Boys was that it was a Satire on Superhero Genres & cliches as well as they System we live in.
Yet no one talked about the main problems of the show that're glaring!
My opinion is that a Superhero Deconstructions is that people can be/are good & kind, that's what makes Superman a compelling character.
The only things that, in my opinion, is the reason The Boys is popular is cause of Gore, Evil Superman & Satire while the writing is bad.
The entire base of The Boys is that it was made from the Hatred of Superheroes while having this Human Nature argument, which contradicts that message as Annie & Kimiko are prime examples of using their powers for good as it's from Human Conditioning from the Culture, that the entire show doesn't even know what it's suppose to be anymore. I can name my problems from A-Train, Butcher, Homelander, etc. as many of them are literally brought up by Sheev Talks as how The Boys makes no fucking sense other than; Garth Ennis hates Superheroes & Ennis wrote Crass, Uber-violent edgy comics with people who're so unrelatable and are so indistinguishable from bad guys and a complete slog of people I can't relate and just dislike: from a super baby of a mother who was sexually assaulted lasering it's way out of her and her husband bashes it to death with a lamp, to superheroes orally assaulting a woman in order for her to be a hero, to a person getting violated by a superhero for no reason or even having a clone of a superhero eating live babies other than it's dark & edgy.
Granted Eric Kripke toned all the original stories of Garth Ennis' comics, but even then the problems still flood within the stories of each episode and literally my problems with Deconstructions of Superheroes.
Honestly there are better Superhero Deconstructions like: Alan Moore's Watchmen, Roy Thomas' Squadron Supreme, Keith Champagne & Peter Tomasi's The Mighty & Mark Waid's Kingdom Come.
Which is objectively better than The Boys!
Sorry not sorry.

Black Christmas (1974)
Tumblr media
In the realm of holiday horror, it doesn’t get much better than Bob Clark’s Black Christmas. Yes, the man who brought us A Christmas Story also made another must-see yuletide picture, though you won’t find much cheer in this ghastly, bloody ordeal.
As the Christmas holiday approaches, the women at a sorority house deal with personal issues, the usual holiday responsibilities and anonymous obscene phone calls while the police investigate a series of violent crimes in the area. The students have no idea a serial killer is squatting inside their home after sneaking into their attic one night.
Though Black Christmas predates Halloween and the slasher craze, it contains many of the genre's trademarks. The victims are violently murdered, often with a variety of sharp objects found around the house. The killer's targets are primarily young adults who find themselves isolated and their identity is a mystery. You've seen that before/since but key details make this film a little different and much more unsettling than the John Carpenter imitators that came later. We assume the man living in the attic is also making the obscene phone calls to the sorority girls, but the calls started BEFORE he entered. We assume he is also responsible for the rape that happened on campus recently, but it could be a coincidence. The same for the young girl who goes missing early on. It would be more comforting if it was all the work of a single maniac but a general aura of evil can't be ruled out.
You’re not so sure because there’s hardly anyone in the film that could be described as “alright”. The holiday season, combined with the university setting means that when someone's whereabouts are unknown, the police hurriedly say that it’s because they’re off with a boyfriend somewhere, or off partying. It shows how easy it is to get away with something when everyone is as busy as they are during the days leading up to Christmas. The housemother, Mrs. MacHenry (Marian Waldman), has bottles of alcohol hidden all around the house, which is comical but emphasizes that people aren’t as well-collected as they seem. When Mr. Harrison (James Edmond) comes to pick up his daughter and finds her missing, a quick tour of her room shows him there’s a lot more going on in the house than he expected. Your feelings of security are shaken. The most obvious example of normalized wrongness is the relationship between Jess (Olivia Hussey) and Peter (Keir Dullea). The stresses of the university are getting to him when he learns she's pregnant and planning on having an abortion. Despite his increasingly unhinged disposition, we know Peter can’t be the killer because Jess received a phone call while he was in the house… but then again, who’s to say they’re being committed by the killer?
Largely inspired by a well-known urban legend (you’ll know which one once you start watching), the film shows you exactly enough and not an ounce more. What we see of the killer couldn’t be more chilling. The uncertainty of his identity makes the final minutes feel like a ticking time bomb and the final shot is diabolically subtle. The character development makes the people we follow feel like they have lives beyond these events, which makes you care about who will live and who will die. Margot Kidder as a drunken sorority sister has a memorable role and is an example of the sprinkles of humor found here and there. Black Christmas is a little slow to start but the wait is well worth it. This is a memorable, suspenseful slasher film you’ll enjoy returning to. (On Blu-ray, December 23, 2021)

We got a lot of time and we need to start preparing now. If we make it through Trump's presidency intact we need to elect a good democrat president (or if by some miracle the gop does a massive u turn then one of them that has good policies). There probably won't be official running announcements for a good while but let's get an idea of who is most likely to get in the race:
Tumblr media
I would suggest reading up on all of these candidates and creating yourself a personal list of pros, cons, and achievements for each one. When intent to run does get announced, you'll be equipped to help support their campaigns.
Even before then, decide which one you would most like to see as president and try to support them in general. Widespread vocal support of a given candidate for president may increase the odds that they choose to run.
(I am getting started on both as we speak. I will reblog with my candidate preferences in order to encourage further discussion after I've done some reading. I am also going ahead and following the tags for each of these people's names as well as their social media accounts so that I get updates from them. I reccommend yall do the same.)
Also, now would be a good time to get involved with your local democratic party and learn how primaries work. Be prepared to show up and help us get a good ticket when the time comes.

🌸🌼 One of my favorite moments from “Once Upon A Studio” is when Mickey sees Clarabelle Cow under Kaa’s hypnotic stare. As he tries to stop the snake, Rapunzel assures Mickey she’s got it under control. With her trusty frying pan, Rapunzel hits Kaa off-camera, saving Clarabelle in the process. 🐍
