I don't remember when I asked Mom to help me take a new picture of my eye. I had one a few years ago but I lost the original picture and only have low quality screenshots of it.

We thought of going to that art gallery where they take a really close up picture of your iris and transform it into an artwork. I think it would be quite funny to do as my mother, my brother and I all have the same type of eyes in different hues.

Mom's eyes are more of a dark greyish-green, a bit like lichen while my brother is more of a brownish-green. Of us three, I have the clearest eyes thought. It usually looks a bit more blueish-green than that, especially when I get the sun right in my face. But I also got those strange brownish spots near the pupil, more visible in one eye than in the other.

I'm as grateful for cellphones as the next person, but sometimes I think about how everyone having a phone on them at all times really did cause us to loose some things as a society. I mean - for example, kids these days will never experience their car breaking down and needing to find the nearest place with a phone they can use. They're never going to have the opportunity to tentatively approach a house only to discover that it's full of queer people having a party hosted by a transvestite to celebrate his creation of a sex homunculus, stay the night, and loose their virginity while unintentionally partaking in cannibalism. It's tragic, that kind of gay sexual awakening just doesn't happen these days because of cellphones.

I don't like getting up early. However, being in the city center before 8:30 is the only way to get a picture like that of the Passage. It's always beautifully decorated during Christmas season and I made one of my objectives to get a picture each year.

perliculture is so advanced. i thought those fun-shaped “freshwater” coin pearls were fakes or cut to shape but they really get mussels to grow these

some look messier than others with thicker nacre but even the neat ones occasionally have nacre bumps.

All this about not getting to see John Lennon on twitter but I think the real tragedy is that Freddie Mercury never had an instagram
